Debra Parker, PharmD, MBA
Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Findlay, she maintains an active practice as a pharmacist. Her experience spans independent pharmacy, drug information, hospital pharmacy, internal medicine, cardiology, and outpatient clinics. She prioritizes staying connected to practice to ensure alignment with the evolving expectations of pharmacy graduates.
She has an extensive record of professional engagement, including serving as past president of the Ohio Pharmacists Association and holding leadership roles across national, state, and local organizations. She models this involvement to reinforce the profession’s impact on patient care.
A trailblazer and entrepreneur, she has achieved multiple “firsts,” including advancing collaborative practice models, serving as the first female dean of an Ohio pharmacy program, establishing a college-level DEI committee, co-founding a new pharmacy program, and pioneering distance-learning pathways.
