I'll be honest, this is one of those weeks where I sat with my lunar calendar and just went, "Okay, universe, I see you." Because everything happening between now and next Thursday is pointing at the same exact theme over and over again. So let's walk through it together.
Let's talk about this weekend first. We're moving through a waning crescent moon starting in Gemini on Friday and Saturday, then shifting into Cancer early Sunday morning. Waning crescent is the quietest phase of the whole lunar cycle. It's the exhale before the inhale, and landing in chatty, curious Gemini before settling into soft, nurturing Cancer, that's the moon basically telling you, "Talk less, feel more. Let the mental noise quiet down so you can actually hear what your heart's been trying to tell you."
And here's the thing, we are right in the heart of the Lion's Gate portal window this weekend. Tomorrow, Saturday, is the peak, August 8th, that beautiful 8/8 alignment of the sun, Sirius, and Leo season. And the portal itself stays open through August 12th. So even though the moon is asking you to rest today, there's this undercurrent of something big is about to activate. You don't have to chase it. Just stay open and let tomorrow do what it's going to do.

I pulled three cards for the collective this week, and honestly, when I laid them out, I just sat back and smiled, because the story they tell is so clean.
We're opening with the Six of Cups, the card of nostalgia, sweetness, and simple joy. This card is asking you to reconnect with something soft from your past. Maybe it's a dream you shelved. A quick retrograde check in. Mercury is direct. No communication chaos to navigate this week. There is a cluster of outer planets in their normal retrograde cycles right now. Saturn, Neptune, Pluto, and Chiron are all retrograde in the background, plus Uranus just stationed retrograde on August second. But these are slow-moving, deep background planets, and honestly, at this point in the year, they're just quietly doing their long-term review work behind the scenes.
