EP 9 Crafted
I don't know about you, but I'm so excited for this episode today because we're diving into all things, skincare, all things,
entrepreneurship and leadership. And I have one of my favorites. I don't know if I can say that, but she's a favorite of mine
who is joining me today on the podcast.
And her name is Ericka Nicole. So let's get into it. I'm ready to dive in.
Let's go. Ericka. Hey girl.
Welcome back to Crafted for Glory. We're back at it again. We're back at it again.
But this time we're back at it to talk all things, Ericka Nicole, all things about you and your brand and what you're building
here. And I'm so excited to dive in deeper. Okay.
So before we get started in all the things, I want to give them a little bit of notes about you. Okay. So let's get into my good
sis.
Okay. So first of all, Ericka is very special, but I want to just read her bio to go into more detail about that. So Ericka Nicole
is the founder and CEO ofSilkenn.
Okay. Yeah. Silkenn with two Ns, an innovative skincare brand, redefining beauty through environmental defense and
microbe science.
I'm so excited about that. Come on. Who are, where my science girlies? Like we love a good skincare brand that actually
thinks about science.
With a background in forensic science and pre-medicine, Ericka pivoted to entrepreneurship, turning her passion for
skincare into a mission driven brand. Come on. She's also the host of Boss Babe Reset, a podcast that helps high achieving
people ditch hustle culture and embrace self-care.
Ericka's journey from corporate professional to founder is a masterclass in resilience, reinvention, and taking bold risks.
And guess what? We get to talk to her today. Let's go. Ericka, welcome.
Thank you for having me. The bio is always weird. Cause it's like, is that me? Yes.
I feel the same. Every time I'm like listening to somebody say anything about my bio or like who I am, I'm like, God, who is
that? Who is that? But it's you sis. Oh my goodness.
And I'm so honored to have you again. And I can't wait for us to dive a little bit deeper into Silkenn and Ericka Nicole. So
let's jump into it.
You ready for the first question? Thank you for having me. Let's go. Yeah.
So I'm actually going to pop. I'm going to jump us off with a question that I really like to ask all my guests. And if you
listened to my episodes before, you probably might've thought of this, but I'm going to switch it up just a little bit for you.
Okay. If you had a book, what would your book title be called that represents your whole life? I would say Don't Stop,
Won't Stop. Okay.
You know? Okay. Tell us why. I feel like I definitely, these past five years have been very, very challenging for me.
There's been a lot of ebbs and flows and that resilience piece has really been something that carried me through. So there
have been many opportunities to quit. There have been many opportunities to drop the ball and just say like, I'm not doing
this anymore, but I have refused to do so.
And without that mindset, I wouldn't be where I am today. Exactly. I feel like that represents you well, resilient and a go-
getter, a hustler.
Erika, literally when I look at just even how your brand, it inspires me, even just who you are and just as a person and just
the sweetest person ever, I feel like that matches your story and I really want to dive deep in that, right? So let's jump into it.
So tell us a little bit about who is Erika Nicole? That's such a loaded question. I know.
She's multi-faceted, but kind of like you read in my bio, my background is in forensics and pre-med. My dream was to be a
forensic coroner for the FBI. Since I was nine years old, I grew up watching all the crime shows of my grandmother.
So like Monk, Matlock, Law and Order, the true, true classics. And it was actually the coroner on Law and Order, Dr.
Melinda, she was like the first black woman that I saw in that role. And I was like, oh, she's me.
I am her. That's what I want to do. Okay.
So that's what I did. I graduated with my bachelor's in forensics and pre-med. After graduating, I started working crime
scene and toxicology.
Yes. But then after like two years, I was like, I don't like this, this is not for me. I was like, this is smellier than I thought it
was going to be.
I said, these hours do not work with my sleep schedule. I just don't want to do this anymore. So I knew that I wanted to
pivot.
So I literally quit like that day. I remember that day so vividly. It was a terrible day.
And I think somebody called out and they asked me to stay late. And I'm very anti-working past my hours. So I ran into the
car.
I called my boyfriend at the time, my now husband. I was like, babe, I can't do this anymore. I just need to quit.
I'm just so over it. And he's the more grounded, logical one. I'm a little bit more impulsive.
Sounds like James. Yeah, a little bit more impulsive. Just a little.
So I was expecting him to talk me off the edge and be like, no, babe, it's fine. We'll talk about it when you get home. Yeah,
yeah.
But he was like, okay, you want to quit? Fine. And I was like, Lord, who is this man? Is this a sign? What is this? Oh my
gosh. So I went in the next day, I put in my two weeks and had absolutely no plan.
I was living off of my savings, trying to figure out what I wanted to do. Then the panorama came around. Oh my gosh.
We know how that went. The panorama came around. Come on.
And it put a lot of things on pause for me, but I'm very grateful for that break, even though I know it was a time of a lot of
tragedy and sad things. It was a time that I'm grateful that I was really able to embrace because it gave me a lot of time to
self-reflect. So I knew that I wanted to pursue entrepreneurship, tried a bunch of different ventures, but that's a whole nother
topic.
Good girl. We all been there. Hello.
We tried multiple things. Did you get caught in the crypto? We did. I don't know about the scheme part, but we kind of went
up on crypto.
We had some moments. It was some times. It was good and bad.
It was good and bad. Ebbs and flows. Ebbs and flows.
So I tried a bunch of other things, dabbled into real estate, dabbled into crypto, but then really decided that I wanted to
pursue my skincare brand. So I decided to go back into the workforce because, girl, starting a business costs money. It costs
money.
It's real. So I took a job as an executive assistant because I wanted to be around CEOs, around people who were building-
Exactly. So I started my career as an executive assistant, supporting high level executives, and I like to say that that was my
boots on the ground MBA into business.
Okay, period. Because a lot of the girls don't understand, literally getting that one-on-one training is literally going to help
you in so many different aspects. If you ain't getting nothing from Crafted for Glory, you going to get how important it is to
serve other people.
When I tell you that free knowledge that you're getting where you don't have to buy a course, you don't have to do X, Y, and
Z to just figure something out, you just got to do the work. And you get paid to do it? And you get paid to do it. Okay.
Come on. Literally. I mean, I could go back to so many times back in the day.
I remember in the season that I had lost my job right before the pandemic, very similar, it was like 2018 into 2019, and I
wound up picking up another job in ministry. And then while I was in ministry, the pandemic hit. So I was actually working
in ministry during the pandemic, but right before that, I literally, I was working at a restaurant and I was serving people, like
literally serving people, knowing that my business was going to launch, knowing that I had this business running and
flowing, knowing that I wanted so much more in my life.
And I just love that about your story. Even though you had these dreams, even though you had these goals, you knew like, I
need to learn more. And so tell us a little bit about that.
I want to learn a little bit about in that journey of you becoming an entrepreneur and building your skincare brand. What do
you think are some ways that you've incorporated faith and creativity into that? I say this all the time. Entrepreneurship is
spiritual.
It definitely is. When you have a big dream and a big vision, the enemy is going to come at you from every which way.
Every angle.
When I first decided to start the brand, I was having, there was a lot of death in my family. There was a lot of family strife
and grievances. I was losing friendships over small things, long-term friendships.
The enemy was really, really at work. And it's that prayer time, right? It's that being really, really close to God. I remember
there was one season, so we're talking about maybe two years into building Silkenn.
Silkenn has been four years in the making. Come on. That's a big deal.
A lot of ebbs and flows. We have lost a lot. That's okay.
We have lost a lot. I want to say, yeah, we lost around, if we're being fully transparent, this is the same space. We lost from
$35,000 in the very, very early days.
And it was around that time where I was like, oh, this is ghetto. I don't want to do this anymore. Too much money.
I don't like this. Everything's expensive. But God just did not give me permission to stop.
Yeah, that's good. He's like, that's not what I called you to. So good.
And if I brought you this far, why would I leave you now, kind of thing. So there was a lot of faith required in that. And my
faith has grown tremendously, especially in this season.
So I recently transitioned full-time into the business, which has been extremely scary for me as a corporate girl, who we
love a cozy job that's dependable income, but entrepreneurship is not that, especially when you're relying on your own
income. You are responsible for your income. So even through that, God has been extremely faithful.
And throughout this entire season, I think the thing that he has said over and over again consistently through these past four
years has been to stay close to me. And it's so funny because around the time when I had first gotten that word, that's
actually, you probably don't even know this. That was around the time that you greeted me at Trinity and asked me to start
serving.
And I remember getting in the car with my husband and I was like, is this a sign? Because you just came up out of nowhere.
I had never met you before. I remember meeting you too.
This bubbly personality. You're like, oh my gosh, just give me your number and I'll just text you. It's fine or whatever.
And I was like, why is this girl so happy? She's just so exciting. And I was like, oh my, is this what serving does for you?
And that was something that really changed my life. So getting deeper into my faith, reading my word, being grounded in
community, being surrounded by godly women, by people who are building godly businesses, all of that has contributed to
my faith, how I lead, how I lead my team with faith and that they see God working through me and how it's brought them
closer to God.
It's really been a full circle experience. That's so beautiful. And I love the part that you said about community, because I
think that a lot of times in just the world that we live in, we live in a broken world.
So there are pieces and nuances of this world that literally are working against us. They're working against, and when I say
they, I'm talking about the enemy, like the enemy, this is his kingdom. So he is working against us.
But I mean, we know that God's kingdom reigns every time. Every time, and I think that that's the intersection of isolation
and making sure that you get into community that allows God to pour out on you because you're bringing yourself around
people that are constantly going somewhere that you're either striving to go or working to go, not striving, but thriving to go
or working to go so that you can really find yourself at a place of peace. Because I mean, I've said this before, but the Bible
said where two or three are gathered, then in his works it is done.
So I think it's so important that when you have those relationships, you're able to go with those ebbs and flows. And so just
thinking about that and how lovely it's been to just kind of watch your journey and just admire you from afar, I would love
to kind of dive into really, how did you find yourself coming up with a skincare brand? Because I think everybody has these
ideas of what they want to do, but I really want to know from Ericka, like, okay, cool, you'd start a skincare brand, but why?
Why did you start that? So this was not on the agenda. I'm telling you, I was going to be a forensic coroner for the FBI.
I was working my way up to the CIA. This was not on the cards for me. But when I decided to take that sabbatical, when I
quit my job, I intentionally took around six months to just travel.
That was something that was very important to me. And that's exactly what I did. We lived it up.
We was booking flights. This was the end of 2019. Oh my goodness.
Timing was perfect. I know. So yeah, we were, I was traveling to the Caribbean, to the, to Arizona, all, just everywhere.
And as I was traveling, I realized that environmental stresses were affecting my skin. So I've struggled with acne and
eczema since like I was an adolescent, like 12, 13. There's a lot of people that get eczema.
Yeah. And it was really rough. And as I was traveling, I would go to the Caribbean, skin glowing, thriving.
And you're fine. Perfect. Perfect.
Skin glowing. Come back to New York, baby. It's all polluted.
What happened? What happened? What? Where'd it go? Get off the flight. He's broken out. I don't like this.
This is not, this is not it for me. So I had that science background and I realized that air pollution was a key trigger. So I
decided to put that little degree to use because mommy and daddy paid a good pretty penny.
Big degree. A penny for that. That's funny.
Okay. So yeah, I started doing a lot of research on the skin microbiome, skin health. I was already studying the microbiome
in undergrad for like post-mortem determination, things like that in forensics.
So I really, it was just an easy pivot. It was a very linear pivot for me. It was an alignment.
That's the word right there. It was an alignment. And that's what I did.
So I decided to go down that path. I started sourcing manufacturers and labs. That's a whole nother, that's a whole nother
rabbit hole there of like the process of starting a science-based skincare brand.
So that was the, really the reasoning why, like I saw the effects that pollution was having on my skin and I knew I could not
be the only one. Yeah. No, you're not.
I'm sure that there's people that can attest and I'm sure you've done this research and this data and collected that, but I
honestly, until I started reading more about your brand and other brands and I'm like, I don't think everybody realizes how
much pollution does have a play on your skin and your everyday body. And so shout out to you because babe, you really
doing the thing. I mean, one of my other friends too, she also is a scientist and like she incorporated science into fashion
with a shoe.
Hopefully I'll get to have her on the podcast, but between both of you guys taking the very thing you went to school for and
applying it into the beauty and fashion space, I'm just utterly mind blown at that. That's just so amazing and incredible what
you did. I don't know if I actually told you, did I tell you I went to school to work for the FBI? No.
Oh my gosh. Look at her face. Why are we just discussing this now? So I'll give you a quick look.
Yeah. So it was funny when you were telling it and I've read this in your bio too, but I read it on your website too. But I
didn't realize I didn't tell you, but like I literally, I was obsessed with science very much like yourself.
Like I know I don't look like a science girly. It's the glasses. The glasses kind of set the tone.
Oh, okay. The glasses. Give it a little bit like I could have been a little doctor.
Yeah. Yeah. No.
So I didn't want to be a doctor. I actually, I've always just like you've been very obsessed with like the law, like literally law
and order. My mom, SUV, my mom and I used to watch, we used to watch all the shows with like first 48, all of that.
And I was obsessed. Like I'm like growing up, I wanted to solve problems a lot. And a lot of the times I specifically found
myself just really caring about the areas of like low income areas and just like solving problems in that way.
And what winds up happening, I get to school and I fell in love with science. I'm in high school. I'm literally winning every
science fair every year.
Like by the time I graduated, I had an award from the state because I won every science fair. Let me find out. Like it was
crazy.
And then on top of that, my 12th grade year comes and basically my advisor in high school was like, Jasmine, for 11th
grade, when you get into 12th, I want you to take these two college courses, which were biotech. And then there was a
forensic course at the college. And so I was like, great.
I want to take that. Like they had us doing like little mock crime scenes and everything. It was so fun.
And so I did that, passed that, got all the A's and things like that. And I basically was like, I want to be a forensic
pathologist. But I wanted that to lead me to get to the FBI so that I can work as like an undercover.
I wanted to dress real cute and be the one to like save women from like different issues. I don't want to get banned on
YouTube. So I can't say those words, but I wanted to just really help women in a space to set them free from a lot of
different nuances that happened all around the world.
And I was inspired by that. So I had my application in, you know, so if y'all still want to hire me, I'll still, you know. But I
had my application in, but yeah, very much like you, I literally wanted to work for them.
Not me trying to re-interview you on your podcast, but what was the pivot? Okay. How did you get here? We can talk about
that. Another day.
Yeah, yeah. But I do want to say that what is incredible is actually leading me to my question about you is... Hey, Crafted
for Glory fam. I'm so excited.
I have something super special for you. It's going to kind of blow your mind a little bit, and I'm excited to share with you.
Have you ever found yourself in this position where you're searching as an entrepreneur, as a leader, or even as someone
that's interested in getting into their creative journey? I'm telling you right now, it's so important for you to know what your
purpose is in order to step in places that God wants to send you.
So I'm interrupting this episode because I came up with something super fun and cute. It's going to be amazing. It's the
perfect place for you to find out what your purpose-driven entrepreneurial archetype is.
I'm telling you, this is not your ordinary test. You're going to take the test. It's going to have you thinking a little bit, and
you're going to find yourself trying to figure out, how do I actualize this purpose that I just found out about? Now, if you are
anything like me, you found yourself at many times trying to figure out, hmm, am I really good at innovating or am I a
dreamer? And something I've realized is that your entrepreneurial style is different from everyone else.
Don't copy, don't compare, but start finding out what that looks like today. It's not going to cost you anything. It's literally
the perfect quiz that you can take in just three minutes to find out what your archetype is.
So let's get back to the episode. Can't wait to see you there. Bye.
What do you say is a very pivotal moment in your career as you were becoming an entrepreneur that literally helped you
understand that this is what I'm supposed to do? Hmm, this is crazy. Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm. I think a big aha moment for
me was the passing of my dad in 2019.
I think that was a very pivotal moment. That was the moment that actually kick-started my entrepreneurship journey
because it was around the time that he passed that I just did not feel fulfilled in my job anymore. That's what really led me
to take that sabbatical.
And without that time, that solitude time of being away from the plan that I had for myself and taking that gap year or
whatever you want to call it, is where I found so much purpose. And it was through that pain of grief and loss and confusion
and really being in the midst of a wilderness season that God really met me and God really reestablished my purpose and
gave me a renewed identity that I could identify with. And without that season, I would not have taken the step to even be
here in this moment.
So if it wasn't for that pivotal, that key thing, and when that situation happened, I was mad at God. I know, I can understand.
I mean, my dad was my best friend and it happened so suddenly.
I'm talking about us watching football on Sunday and him no longer being here on Monday. And it was a very traumatic
situation for me that I didn't know that I could get through or get past. Yeah, I can imagine.
But it was crazy that throughout all of the grief, not once did I feel forgotten, not once did I feel forsaken, not once did I not
feel loved by God throughout that moment. And he really met me where I was. And that was the moment that I actually
rededicated my life to Christ and decided to go all in.
And it's crazy because around that time is when I started tuning into Trinity online right before we had to go digital. And
just PT talking about like, give God just one year of your life. It was in that moment.
But I was like, you know what, God, we're going to do this. I'm going to give this to you. And he has renewed and restored
so much more.
And throughout this entire entrepreneurship journey, I have felt that same hand holding up until this point. Yeah, it has me
reminded of a scripture. And I believe, yep, I knew it was in Psalms.
So basically, you just have me, this came right to my mind. Literally it says, let me find it. Okay, you turned my wailing into
dancing.
You removed my sackcloth and clothed me with your joy. That my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. Lord, my
God, I will praise you forever.
That came right to my mind as you were like saying that. And it was so funny because the tab was right there. Because you
got to it real quick.
Yes, the tab was right there. It literally said, difficulty comes to an end. And when you were talking about that, I feel like
that's going to change somebody's life.
Because I think that a lot of times when we're in a place where we find ourselves in a wilderness season, we feel like God
has forgotten us. We're looking left to right. We're going right to left.
And we're like, well, God, where are you? But I'm very encouraged by your story. And I'm sure whoever is listening to this
is encouraged as well. Because you didn't let the wilderness take over you.
You allowed God to take over it. And that is powerful. And I think that that really sets a precedent as to why you're in this
space to be able to launch Silkenn and to be able to have blessing after blessing after blessing.
It might be hard, but the wilderness doesn't last long. I mean, we can look at Jesus' story when he was in the wilderness for
40 days and 40 nights. He was tempted by the devil multitudes of time.
But the thing that God was cultivating for you in your time where you were grieving your dad was resilience. He was
cultivating that. He was cultivating the dependence that you had on him during that season to help you with the dependence
on Silkenn.
And I just want to say, Ericka, I'm so proud of you. Like, you are just a light. You're a light and a joy.
And I actually forgot how I walked up to you in church and just was like, hey, girl. You remember, hi, I'm Jasmine. What's
your name? I'm like, what? I literally, I'm like, I forgot about that because I'm like, I feel like I've known you for years, but it
hasn't been that long.
And it just, it's literally been amazing. And I kind of want to go to the next portion of like, really what I know, like,
obviously, like the Bible is motivating you. That's your foundation.
That's your rock. But for those that are trying to figure out how to get through a wilderness season, what would you say to
them to help them kind of navigate their creativity in that season? Or maybe they don't need to navigate it and maybe they
need to just lean into it. What would you say to them? Yeah, I would say the same word that I feel like I got from God is to
stay close.
Like, we are, if you want to understand, I feel like a lot of people struggle. I hear a lot of people struggle to find their
purpose. They don't know what they're here for.
And my response to that is always, if you want to know what you're created to do, you have to tap in with your creator. So
you have to stay close. Like, if you're confused about your wilderness season or why you're in a certain space or you're
feeling creatively blocked and you don't know what the next step is going to be, like, you have to tap in with your creator.
You have to make space for that. That's why reading your word, that's why prayer, that's why being in community is
extremely important because those spaces matter. They craft you.
There have been many times when building Silkenn, where I am creatively blocked, I have no idea what the next step
should be. I don't know what emails we should send out. I don't know what campaigns we should run.
I don't know who to hire. I don't see the vision. And I think sometimes God does that to require that dependency.
Like, God will not show you 10 steps ahead. He may show you that one pebble that's in front of you because it's one step at
a time. It is that dependency that you were talking about.
So I think it goes back to just tapping in with your creator. Yeah, that's so good. That's powerful.
I think somebody out there needed to hear that. If y'all love that, make sure you write that in the in the chat, because I think
that that is a pivotal moment in a lot of people's life where they're I think everybody's in a season where they're just looking
for something to help them. They just they want to find out where that something is.
And it's incredible to tap into who created you because he's the only one who is the author and finisher of who you are and
your faith. Excuse me. He knows who you were in the beginning and he knows who you are going to be in the end.
And I think leaning into that is just incredibly powerful. But I kind of want to jump into some rapid fire questions. You
down for them? You think you got it? Okay, let's do it.
So tell me right now what this is going to be so easy for you. But what's your favorite self-care ritual that you never skip a
step on? Oh, that I never skip a step on. Yep.
My routine fluctuates so much. My body care, actually. So after I have like my once a week, like everything shower day.
Yeah. Yeah. Everything.
I saw those on TikTok. Okay, well, everything. I mean, that's a lot of work, but yes, one of those a week.
And we don't skip a step. Okay. And you just take that time.
That's your me time. Hour and 15 minutes. I love that.
I love that. Literally, that's incredible because I feel like self-care is one of my favorite parts of like a day-to-day girly
routine. Okay, next question is, what's the best piece of advice you've ever received as an entrepreneur? Oh, best piece of
advice.
You don't become extraordinary by doing ordinary things. Period. Period.
Yeah. And that's a fact. Okay, so if you want to be extraordinary, go out and build something out of the ordinary.
Okay. Okay. That means don't be copying nobody.
Just go do your thing, baby. Just go do your thing. Okay, next question.
If you could only use one skincare product for the rest of your life, what is it going to be? Okay, I'll disqualify soaking.
Okay. Okay.
That's extremely biased. That's extremely biased. But if I could use one product, what would it be? And give us the brand
name.
The Topicals Faded Cream. Really? Because it does what it needs to do, baby. Shout out to Olamide.
She did that. She's that girl. I think I need a little step up in the strength, though.
Really? Because I'm a girlie that with skincare, I have hormonal skincare. Okay. So my skincare has to be strong.
It has to be that next level. I noticed that when I've used Topicals, I loved it when it's like smaller little things that I can get.
But I'm like, baby, I need something that's going to zap.
Well, because I use the silk and I don't have too many breakouts. Yeah, spirit. So for the touch up moments, I do what it
needs to do.
But I love Olamide. She's a sweetheart. Okay, next question is, what is one thing people don't know about you outside of
your business? Outside of my business? I have an answer for you.
Oh, well. You can answer. I don't know.
I used to play the clarinet. I used to be an avid clarinet player. Really? Yeah, I started band when I was like fourth grade.
Oh, my band girlie. Yeah, girl, fourth grade. And I still have my clarinet.
You still have it? Yeah, it's a little dusty. It's been a couple of years, but we still know how to play her. And we know how to
read sheet music.
Really? I could never read music. No, no, no, no, no. That's why I ain't got no rhythm.
Oh, go get that rhythm. Don't do that. I can dance.
Don't do that. I can, it's called fake it till you make it. And I just pretend that I hit a beat in the back.
Please stop. Listen, okay. Last question on this end is, if you weren't running a skincare brand, what other industry would
you go into? Ooh, based on what I know now and my exposure, I would love to be in PR.
Really? I could see you killing that. Oh, yeah. Oh, my gosh.
You wanna be my PR girl? No. Okay. But I've learned so much about the PR industry through connections and people that
I've worked with, and I could see myself being in that field.
Oh, my gosh. I literally, I could see you eating PR up. With my little Olivia Pope outfits on, walking into- First of all, with
your little mini briefcase, a cute one.
Or a Birkin. No, it's not, it's not. Let me just try it.
Girl, get what you need. Okay. Well, Ericka, I love you so much.
I could probably talk with you for hours. I literally enjoy just being with you. It's just so fun.
Girl, we gotta get lunch some more. Please. It's been a minute.
Yes. We gotta get some lunch. I know we the busy girlies, but we gotta hang out and do something little.
We gotta actually write it down. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Send the invite.
Y'all that don't be writing it down, soon you gonna see your friends soon, and then you don't write it down for six weeks,
and then six weeks go by and you still ain't seen your friends. Go see your friends. Stop yelling.
You listening right now. You need to call them when this is over, okay? All right. I'm so excited to kind of close this out, but
before we close out, Ericka, I really want you to give us the best advice that you can give someone who's trying to go into
your industry for skincare.
I would say your network is really your net worth. You're not going to meet the people that you need to open doors by
staying at home. So go out there, meet people, engage on social networks like LinkedIn.
Really just get yourself out there because the more people you talk to, the more people you tell your story to, you're going to
come across people eventually who want to help you build. And that's the most important thing. Yes.
So, so good. So Ericka, tell us a little bit about where we can find you on what platforms. Don't forget to drop about the
Boss Babe Reset.
So tell us all the things. Yeah. So you can follow me on all social media networks at the Ericka Nicole.
That's E-R-I-C-K-A, OK? Because we're extra special. If you're interested in Silkenn, Silkennco.com. That's Silkenn with
two N's. We're launching in September of this year.
So we have a lot of fun activations coming up. And then I also have my own podcast, which Jasmine is going to be coming
back on very soon. Yeah.
It's called the Boss Babe Reset. And it's just Boss Babe Reset on all social media platforms. Love that girl.
You are very special. And I'm honored that I get to be here again with you. Like, it's fire.
At this point. OK, this is this is this is going to be a situation all the time. But I would love to just kind of like invite
everybody to follow my girl on social media.
Make sure you stay tuned for all the great things that she's doing. But most importantly, we are on Crafted for Glory. And it
is time for you to drop a review.
Leave us a comment. Share this with a friend who you feel like it will literally point them in the right direction in which
God is sending them. And before we go, Ericka, I would love to pray for you.
OK, awesome. Thank you. All right.
Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for this opportunity to commune together. God, God, we thank you that you are our
creator, that you placed us in this moment at this time at the right time. God, there's no mistake that has ever happened in
our life that can keep us away from you.
God, we're so grateful that you use our wilderness for your glory. Lord God, we thank you, Lord God, that you're not a God
who just leaves us stranded, Father God, but you are a God who cares from the start to the finish. You knew Ericka in her
mother's womb.
And I just pray, Lord God, that as she continues to make an impact in the beauty industry, Lord God, that many blessings,
Father God, and a boatload of empowerment happens in the community that she is serving. Father, I pray for her podcast. I
pray that it touches many people in the name of Jesus.
I pray for her marriage. I pray for many blessings in her marriage. Lord God, we thank you that she's joined us today.
And we thank you that she is crafted for glory. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Amen. Amen. Well, Crafted for Glory fam, I'm so excited that I got to join you today.
What an amazing time that we've spent together. I don't know if you're just tuning in or maybe you heard this from a friend,
but make sure you subscribe and leave us a review. Make sure you tell us all the things that we need to do or you want to
hear in the next season, whatever that looks like.
It's an honor to be with you. And remember that Crafted for Glory is where faith, leadership, creativity, and
entrepreneurship collide. Thank you so much.
I love you. Have a blessed day.
