Charity's Testimony [Episode 2]

Hey everyone. It's charity and I'm here to share my testimony of God's faithfulness in my life. My journey has not been easy, but it has been filled with God's presence, his love, and his endless mercies. I grew up in a large family as the 10th of 11 children, and I absolutely loved it being an extrovert. I thrived in a lively, loving environment that my parents created. Our home was also filled with laughter, conversation and a deep sense of belonging. We all worked together. My mom and my dad pastored a church since I was a kid. They didn't just preach the word, they lived it. Their unwavering faith and dedication to God's calling shaped me in more ways than I can count. They led by example teaching me to depend on the Lord to work hard, never quit, keep the faith, forgive, and above all to love God and people from a young age. I had a deep love for the Lord. I would sing specials at church, worshiping with a pure childlike faith, and cherish the feeling of being in his presence. As life went on, I found myself stray down the wrong road multiple times high school temptations, distractions and hardships led me away from the closeness I once had with God. Yet in those moments and in those days, he was always there for me. He never left me through. Any of my struggles not even in the darkest, saddest times of my recent life, every time I cried out to him, he answered sometimes in ways I didn't expect but always in ways that showed his faithfulness and love, one of the greatest prayers of my life. My husband to me. I prayed so specifically for someone like him in my prayer journal. I literally wrote it down and it's crazy'cause it's exactly what I asked for. God answered that prayer perfectly. Elle and I. Love so many of the same things, hunting, fishing, and adventure. But most importantly, we share the love for the Lord. Having someone to walk this journey of faith with, to pray with, to dream with it has been one of the greatest gifts. God has ever given me. And of course, we both have a deep love for babies and the hope of raising a family centered on God's love. Recently, Rayel and I went through the heartbreaking loss of our baby girl Israel Faith Jackson. This was by far the biggest test of faith I've ever faced. The pain was unbearable. And questions flooded my mind. Why did this happen? Why didn't our little girl make it here on earth? I don't have all the answers, but I do know that God is still good. I know that only good comes from the Lord while the enemy comes to steal, to kill and destroy the Lord came that we would have life and have it more abundantly. I don't understand why our baby girl didn't make it to this earth, but I do know this. She is living a beautiful pain-free life in heaven, and one day we will see her again. That promise, that hope. That's what sustains me. It's what gives me the strength to keep going, to keep believing, to keep trusting that God's plan for our life is not over. He is still writing our story and I know that he will bless us with many more children and tell. Then I hold onto the peace of God that passes all understanding. I rest in his hands knowing that he will bless us more than we can imagine when we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be. Until that day, I'll continue to worship, to serve, and to share my testimony of God's faithfulness Through it all, my faith remains strong, and I continue to praise him knowing that he is always faithful. And that is what I'll hold on to today. And always
