Introduction
Hello and welcome back to the Everyone Watches Women's Tennis Podcast, a tennis podcast that is solely focused on the women's game, giving you regular updates about what is taking place on the WTA Tour, both on and off the court. Hi everyone. Thank you so much for joining me for today's episode. We are currently in the midst of the French Open, Roland Garros. I do use those interchangeably so for those I don't know please don't get confused they're the same thing.

As I said we're in the middle of the second Grand Slam of the year and there are some topics on my mind that I want to discuss with you before this tournament ends and I'll also preface this episode by saying I've got the sniffles for some reason I'm not sick or maybe I'm about to be sick. so don't mind my nasally voice and me sniffling throughout this episode. so diving straight into today's agenda, we'll be discussing a hot topic, which is the French Open scheduling controversy, and then my Roland Garros disappointments and standouts, and the preview of the upcoming quarterfinals. So to start off with,

which is quite topical of the name of the podcast, i.e. Everyone Watches Women's Tennis, is the scheduling controversy that's been happening at, I'll be honest, not just this year's French Open, but the ones that have come in the couple years past. I will just give you some, because I'm saying controversy, but maybe you haven't heard about it. So with the French Open, they introduced night matches in 2021.

And I say matches, night match in 2021. So they have a prime time slot where they put on one match of the Grand Slam. And the controversy has been that this year's Grand Slam, they have not placed any of the women's matches on that prime time slot. And not just this year, last year, it was the same thing. They did not place any of the women's matches in the prime time slot.

And for the 44 night matches that have been played off Roland Garros since 2021, only four of those have been women's matches. And it's getting ridiculous at this point. It is an active choice that's being made year on year by the organisers of the French Open, the French Tennis Federation, all of them. And there are a couple of points to touch on. First off, we will talk about the reasons I guess they've given to why they haven't been putting on women's matches.

I will say in regards to the organisation of the French Open, there two main players. is Amelie Mauresmo, who is a former world number one and the director of the French Open. then we've got the of Tennis as well. Both have been quoted saying some things that I personally don't agree with. And I think it's time to take them to task or just keep pressing on those questions.

Amelie Mauresmo, as I've said, former world number one, top player in the Hall of Fame.

has been questioned times during this tournament about why they haven't been highlighting women's matches, why they haven't been featured. And she said many comments from the matches not being long enough, want players to get value, sorry, not players, we want ticket holders to get value of their money. I think it's a bit of just an excuse. It's that you can just pull out at any point.

I will say this is something she said, quote, verbatim, asked they haven't been putting women's matches the prime time slot. She said, we cannot check every box because we have many, many things to think about when we do this. when she says we do this, she means the event.

I know that's just one sentence, but highlights something glaring. Women's tennis is not a priority to them. It's not a priority to the director. It's not a priority to the competition. And not just her, because she is the face of Roland Garros, the French Tennis Federation, well, the French Federation of Tennis, sorry.

has also been quoted saying some things that, I don't agree with personally, which is the director of the French Federation. is no appetite for women's tennis.

think it's so disappointing, disappointing of them to say things like that.

I think it's disappointing for it to not be a priority in some

touch on one of the points that's been said by not just the director, but also other people who with the stance of not placing women's tennis in the prime time slot is that matches are shorter. So we want holders to get value for their money. As someone who watches a lot of tennis, both men and women,

I can 100 % tell you that just because you're playing best of five and a match is ultimately going to be longer doesn't mean it's a higher quality match. Especially from what we've seen this French Open, it doesn't mean it's a higher quality match. We've seen some stunning three set matches and sometimes even two set matches that produced such a high quality of tennis to go that extra five sets. We've also seen matches that have been of five, ended in three sets, that were short and not that entertaining, i.e. Jannick Sinner versus Jiri Lehecka.

So point, I shut it down straight away. I think that's, it's a shallow point. I don't think it's valid at all.

then the second thing I think is French Federation saying there's no appetite for women's tennis. I think that's so incorrect. I think former world number two, Ons Jabeur, it in a post that she made about on X, Twitter X, as well as in the press conference, she talked about it. And it's how I feel.

not placing women's matches on the prime time slot, limiting exposure not just great matches, but you're limiting exposure to just the world of women's then when there's no visibility, less people are watching it, which means less people know they want to watch it,

It's just a self perpetuating cycle by saying, no one wants to watch it. So we're not going to put it on, which again, that's incorrect as well. But let's say it was true. we don't see what's being kept hidden, you're never going to know what you're missing out on. And I think by not putting women's matches on a prime time slot, you're missing out on a lot. I will say living in Australia, the women's matches is put on the prime time slot, it just means I have to wake up at four, four AM.

And I'm fine with that because I know it's worth it because of what I've seen. So many matches I can highlight the Iga Swiatek versus Elena Rybakina match, the Jasmine Paolini versus Elena Svitolina match. matches. in some of earlier rounds like Svitolina again versus Bernarda Pera, that match was two sets, but it was seven, six, seven, six. It was a close, highly contested match.

Again, I'll say I think it's disappointing to see that the French Federation is, guess, is double downing every single year on what they've said, But it's difficult to see how indifferent they are because they don't have a plan.

for solving this issue, which I do think is an issue. There's no plan to solve the problem of why they're putting women's tennis burner. They don't want to highlight it. And it's not just a scheduling or logistics thing. It's cultural. They don't care enough. They don't care enough to do that. So, rant over.

or I don't know if it's the rant , I might bring it up again in this podcast if I'm honest, because it's very frustrating. It's very frustrating.

Okay, so moving on to one downer, we move on to another downer. just gonna be going on an upwards trajectory, okay? So we'll start low, go low, we'll keep going up a bit, but still low, and then move our way up before we reach the peak. something I want to talk about now is,

I deem to be the disappointments of the 2025 French Open. I like to be positive, but I also think we have to analyze and look at the games from all the perspectives. So I've got a couple of players here that I am disappointed in their showing at the French Open. expected better. I think we should have seen

we did it and that's okay onwards and upwards, let's just review it while we are here and have the time.

the first player I have listed here as having a disappointing run at this year's Roland Garros is world number 9 Emma Navarro. So Navarro lost to Jessica Bouzas Maneiro 6-0, 6-1 in straight Manero is obviously unseeded. I will preface this by saying I would lose this match.

I watched the match of Jessica vs  Sabalenka at this year's Australian Open and she gave Aryna a run for her money. Ultimately lost the match in straight sets, but it wasn't an easy Aryna and Jessica is not you just walk not a pushover at all. So going into this match,

I had a feeling that Emma would lose But I wasn't expecting her to lose 6-1, especially as a top 10 as someone who is a fighter and a defender the way Emma is. wasn't expecting to just go down that easily. So it's disappointing to see that kind of scoreline. I wanted to see maybe some fight even if she would have lost in the end.

leading up to the French Open, she didn't have the best run up to it for the two 1000s that precede the French Open. So that's Madrid and Roma where she lost to Tauson in Madrid and Vekic in Roma. then just her year this year has been, it's been up and down. I will say a bit lackluster. She did win in Merida.

but she didn't play anyone that was seeded. She was the number one seed and expected to win. And then with the Australian Open, she did make it to the quarterfinals, but she had to grind her way first four matches were three set matches.

were long three set matches that she grinded and then eventually lost two e-guide and straight sets. her win-loss record this year, like I said, a bit lackluster. It's 17-12. So 17 wins and 12 losses. I think Emma's problem, especially on the clay, is she doesn't, she doesn't have any weapons. Her serve is not a weapon. Forehand is not a weapon. Backhand is not necessarily a weapon. like when someone comes up for a second serve,

It's rare that she'll just blast a winner from that. Emma, a bit disappointed, but she's already made a quarter final for Grandstand this year. The only way to go from here is up.

And then the second player I have listed here who had a disappointing run at this year's Roland Garros is Diana Shnaider who's currently ranked number 12. She lost in the second round to Dayana Yastremska in straight sets, is quite disappointing for someone who is ranked, as I said, world number 12. And as well as someone who had a relatively good lead into Roland Garros.

She lost in the quarterfinals to Jasmine Paolini Roma, which is the tournament just before the French Open. She lost in three sets and Jasmine went on to win. So she did lose to the champion. then in Madrid, she lost to Iga Swiatek and that was in three sets as well. She gave Iga a run for her money. She didn't just go lying down. into this.

Roland Garros I did expect more because I thought she was playing a lot better on clay and I think she's now at the stage at her ranking and development. She is only 21 where she should be.

where she should be beating players that are ranked lower than she has also had, say a lackluster year as well. She's 14 and 12, so 14 wins, 12 losses this year. But saying that about Diana going into the grass season, this is when she excelled last year. And to be able to keep up her ranking, she has to go into this grass season and match her results or do even better.

And then the third player I've got listed here who had a disappointing run in this year's French Open is Marta Kostyuk. She lost first round to Sara Beljec who was a qualifier and is quite young as well. She's 19. She lost I'm really really disappointed. I think she had a strong-ish. I'll say the later part of her clay season was strong. She lost to Sabalenka in Madrid and in losing to the world number one is I think, guess maybe something you expect. You still obviously want to beat them, but it's not something that takes away from the progress you've made. But in saying that, when she did lose, especially in Madrid, she in two very tight sets. were both tie breaks. So maybe going into this French Open, I guess her emotion had been taken out by those losses, both in Madrid and Rome. But again, I still expect better. Even when you're a top-ranked player, even when you lose that first set,

I think it's when you have to regroup and make some inroads to the match. But again, I didn't watch this match. I don't know how well Syrah played. So I don't want to speak on it too much, but I was hoping better for Marta. I feel like when I watch her over the year, she takes three steps forward and then two steps back in her development, in her ranking, everything. I'm hoping by the end of the year, she's firmly in the top 20. But.

I'm also maybe I'm being harsh. She's only 22 turning 23 at some point this year and her win-loss record this year is 17/11 so not the worst but definitely could be before I move on onto the standouts

become a little bit more positive. I will put in some special mentions for people that I think maybe would be disappointed in their run at this French Open. So we'll start with Karolina Muchova. Muchova is ranked 14th. She is a former Roland Garros finalist in 2023. She lost in the first round to Alycia Parks in three sets but she's also coming back from

and did not play any leading tournaments. So it's a bit of a toss up if it's like a disappointing run. But again, you never, especially if you're ranked 14th, you never wanna lose in the first round of a And I've seen Muchova when she comes back from she just keeps on moving like nothing happened. So hopefully that's what we're gonna see moving forward the year. She starts doing what she does best, which playing tennis, or playing tennis well.

And then the second person I've got here is Maria who not at her best ranking-wise and tennis-wise, but she was

looking better going into this French Open, especially in Madrid. But she also lost in the first round to French wild card Elsa Jacquemot in straight But I'm just hoping moving forward to the year that Maria can get that confidence back and play the really good tennis that we know she can.

And then moving on, on a more positive note, going to the people that I think have really stood out. My standouts for this year's 2025 French Open. We'll start with the most obvious one, which is Loïs I don't know French, but I think I pronounced that pretty well. I'm not going to lie. But Loïs Boisson is currently in the quarterfinals. She did this as a wild card with a ranking of 361.

out of the standouts, she's the standout. So this is actually her first grand slam ever, which is crazy, which is so And it's a home slam as which again, probably makes this feel so much better than it would being at any other

Because she's in the quarterfinals, I am gonna talk about her a bit more in the following segment, but she actually is coming back one year after ACL surgery. She tore her left ACL. So that's impressive as well. But like I said, I'm gonna talk about very, very soon. So we'll go further into Then the

And then the second player I have listed here who really stood out to during Roland Garros is Hailey have been waiting for her moment to She's currently ranked number 70 which will go up after this French Open is fourth round that she made was actually her first fourth round of Grand Slam. So that's something to take note

Just going through the players she beat, she did Beatriz Haddad Maia, whose best surface is clay, is ranked number 23. And then Nao Hibino, who is currently ranked then had a great match against Jessica Bouzas-Maneiro well. And then eventually lost to Madison Keys in straight sets. But I think we're now seeing that development in Hailey's game, in that she's beating players she's supposed to.

she's finding a way out of certain matches. She's finding ways out of games. Just winning games that she should be Watching Hailey, she so much So I'm hoping that talent can be paired with hard and not just hard work, constant and revision of your to see where the top players are and chase after that.

and her serve. Her serve is a weapon I just hope it becomes more consistent and something that she can count on and call on when she needs it like an ace when you are down a break I will say because she's so sometimes she plays are, they're great shots but they're too complex.

and they don't win her the point. When she could have just picked an easy shot that wins her the a shot where the opponent wouldn't get to. Maybe she overthinks. Again, I don't like to put things on players, but maybe she overthinks. Instead of hitting the ball down the line, I saw this last night, instead of hitting the ball down the line, because your opponent is on the other side of the she did a drop going to the side where her opponent is and Madison Keys ended up

making the shot and winning that So I think there times where she could just make her life easier and just play the easy thing, do the easy straightforward thing just get those points, win those games good thing about Hayley, again she didn't play qualifiers for this tournament but going into Wimbledon as well she won't have to play qualifiers which is a good to be and just to keep building on that ranking gets higher.

And at some point, maybe you'll be seeded making the path to a fourth round quarterfinals so much easier. But I'm happy to see the development.

And then last but not least, have got Victoria Mboko who is 18 years old. She is currently ranked 120. That will change after the new rankings come out at the end of this

she'll be one of three in the top So well, has an excellent, excellent a and she has a lot of easy power in her ground strokes. So it's good to see, because she can keep up with the best of them. And that's what I saw in the match that she did lose against She did

but she looked like she belonged. It wasn't a loss of someone being, being overpowered. It was a loss of someone being younger and less developed than the other player. That's what I saw. And this year she has a great win-loss record. So 37-5. All of it hasn't been on the...

WTA has also been on the tour, but a win is a win in my book. She's also eight ITF titles

In saying that though, I feel like she's played a lot of tennis this year. So it's about her team and her family being able to now, I guess, schedule her in a way that she can preserve her body, but still be gaining that experience on the circuit and on the And like I said, she will be in the top 100. So hopefully she can maintain the ranking or even

get a higher and not have to play qualifiers for Wimbledon.

Okay, so getting into the final part of this podcast, which is the previews of the upcoming quarterfinals They literally start in an hour and 20 minutes. So i'm sorry if you're listening to this and the matches have already happened but Hey hindsight is always fun, isn't it? So we'll With the first quarterfinal. That's also the first quarterfinal on philippe chatrier it is

Qinwen Zheng, I need to learn how to say her name properly Because I hear different and I don't like So I am going to do my research and next It won't be perfect, but it will be a lot nickname is Queen Wen. So I will call her. I'll just call her

So we've got our Queen win another Aryna And they'll be meeting in the quarterfinal for what feels like the billionth time in the tennis But looking at this matchup, Sabalenka leads the head-to-head 6-1. saying Zheng won their last and their only meeting on which was what was it, two, three weeks

in Roma. Saying that though, Sabalenka's wins have all been in straight except last year in the Wuhan final where they did play three sets. I will say this though about the matchup. I think clay them on a more even playing field.

Okay, before I give you my opinion of what I think will happen in this match, I'll just go through the path that both players before getting to So we'll start with Queenwen She played first round against Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, who is a veteran of the game. She won that in straight sets, six, four, six,

And then second round, she played Colombian Emiliana Arango she won that match 6-2, 6-3 as Then going into the third round, she played a Victoria Mboko again, straight set victory, which was 6-3, And then fourth round, she played 19th seed Liudmila Samsonova

then the fourth round she played Ludmila and that was a three set It was a battle in the I Samsonova did not take her chances when she had because she could easily be in this quarterfinal. credit to Zheng for showing why she's a top player, why she's in the top 10. She's gonna

and that's why she won this because when the and when things she played her best

now looking at world number one, Aryna Sabalenka's path to the quarterfinal. In the first round, she played Kamila Rakhimova and that was a straight set victory, 6-1, 6-1. Then second round, she played Jill Teichman and that was a straight set victory as well, 6-3, 6-1. Then third round, she played Olga Danilovic.

again straight set victory 6-2 6-3 and then the last round fourth round she played Amanda Anisimova and that was a straight set victory as well 7-5 6-3 so the world number one is yet to drop a set and i think her name might have returned Ace-Lenka Serve-Lenka okay i'm getting a bit excited because her serving has not been

year has not been to the highest of standards seeing glimpses of it at this French think as top players they both had like a similar similar path to to the quarterfinal. think I think Zheng's match in the fourth round was not necessarily more difficult than Sabalenka playing Anisimova considering Anisimova is
ranked slightly higher Zheng I think she just wasn't playing her best tennis. That is, Qinwen. She wasn't playing her best tennis that's why that match became three But looking at these two players,

So Sabalenka has made the quarterfinal of the last 10 Grand Slams she's played.
And when I say that stat, it's actually nine semi-finals and one quarter-final, which was last year's French Open where she lost. And last year, the quarter, she lost in three sets and she was also very unwell in that So to beat especially in a grand slam you have to kill She's not going to go easily. have she has to be playing badly and you have to be playing your best tennis for you to be able to beat Aryna Sabalenka in the Grand Slam at this point, at this stage in her career. Zheng has to serve a lot better than she did against Samsonova. She did end that match with 10 aces, but aces are not the only thing that show that you served well. think she needed to be making more first serves than she did.

And then for Zheng, this is her fourth Grand Slam quarterfinal and it is on, I won't say her favorite surface, but she does play well on clay. and not just Philippe Chatrier, the did beat Iga in the semifinals of 2024 Olympics on surface and on this stadium. I think there's some sort of confidence she has to have that

the big stage she's beaten the best clay player before. And then I would also say she probably has confidence from their last matchup that she beat her and beat her in straight sets but that was when she was playing her best tennis so that's the tennis she has to bring against Sabalenka. All of this to say I think Sabalenka will win. I'll say in the straight sets, two close sets, yes.

Like I said, I think to beat Sabalenka you have to kill really difficult to go against the world number one in any but especially Aryna Sabalenka in a grand slam.

Then the second quarterfinal we have is Iga Swiatek versus Elina Svitolina. Iga is ranked world number five and Svito is world number 14. Their head-to-head is 3-1 in favor of And Iga actually won their meeting, which was on hard court in Miami this year in straight

And that was after a very tight first set, I will say. But the only meeting Svitolina has won against Iga is in a Grand Slam, and that was the quarterfinals at the 2023 Wimbledon But again, that is Iga's worst surface. So the best place to play her most likely would be Wimbledon, or at least on grass.

So we'll just take a look at the parts that Iga and Elina took to get to the We'll start with Elina First round she played world number 76 Sonmez of Turkey, won that in straight sets 6-1-6-1. Then second round she played Anna Bondar who is world number 96 in Hungarian. That was a very close match actually.

She won it in straight sets, but the score line was 7-6. So tiebreak and 7-5. Then next match, another very close match, won it in straights, but very close against Bernada Pera. That match was 7-6, 7-6. So two And then the last match she won in three sets against world number four, Jasmine which was 4-6, 7-6, 6-1.

and that match was She is a grinder, Elena Again, she's similar to Sabalenka. You kind of have to kill her to get rid of her in a in a slam. have to, you have to kill her. You either have to be playing your best tennis she find a but she'll most likely find a way to extend the

And then looking at Eager's path to quarterfinals, she played first round against Rebecca Sramkova, who she actually first round of the Australian She beat Rebecca in two Then second round, she played Emma Raducanu, world number She beat her in straight sets as Then third round, she played Jacqueline Cristian world number 60 of Romania. She beat her in straight

The second set was a bit touch and go for a second. And then her most, or her last match was the fourth round against Elena And she ended up winning that match in three Lost the first set 6-1 and then mounted a humongous

So both of these women coming to this quarterfinals very hungry. They both have something to prove Svitolina has made the quarterfinals four times and Roland Garros So I know she'll be looking to make her first semi-final and to be honest not just a semi-final She would want to win and get her first Grand and then for Iga she is a four-time she's looking to retain her and to Roland Garros four times in a row

Looking at them and my for Svitolina to Iga has to not be serving And then those second serves do come, she has to be attacking that second because I think Iga's second serve is the weakest part of her It's definitely the weakest part of the game that you have to take advantage it comes to As well as I

Svitlina needs to play first strike tennis. She has be the one that the first punch. She can't wait for long again a Roland Garros who is very comfortable on clay. I will say about Iga's movement on clay, my Her movement, her footwork is insane. Like in general she's got some of the best

on the but her footwork on clay second to second to and then for Iga to win this genuinely i think she just has to serve and be confident in her that's i think that's but she also has to stay awake and alert Elena can strike at any

And then the next quarterfinal to cover Andreeva versus Lois They don't have a head-to-head as this is their first meeting. Mira is ranked and Boisson is ranked 361. So there is a gulf between there was actually a bigger gulf between Boisson and Jessica in their fourth round and she overcame that. if she does win this

her highest ranked player she's beaten. so we'll start their paths to the starting with Mira In her first round match she played world number 98 cristina Busca and she won that in easy straight

second round, played Ashlyn Krueger who was ranked number 35. Again, easy straight set third round, she played Yulia putinseva and again, straight set And then her fourth round match was against Daria Kasatkina, who is ranked number 17. And that was also a straight set And then looking at Lois Path.

first round she Elise Mertens, world number 24, won that in three and second round she played Anhelina Kalinina she won that in two the third round she played fellow French woman Jacquemot Elsa she won that in three and her last match

fourth round which was against Jessica Pagula, world number three. She won that in three sets as So I will be with this matchup, I don't have too many opinions and I don't have a lot to go on. They have no history. Obviously Mira is the overwhelming She is world number six. She's been to the semi-final She loves playing on but

played a higher ranked player and she beat her. She is a steady player.

And I think she will, not I think, she will obviously have the crowd behind her as being French woman. And I think that's something that could fluster Mirra. She is only 18. And I think if the crowd is against it, might be something that flusters we've seen watching her career so far, she's someone who will show her how she's feeling on her I also think that helps her to win. Even in tough she can

and refocus. it'll be interesting to see. It'll be interesting to see that crowd and Mira dynamic if the crowd is extremely loud. again, I don't have too much to say about this matchup, which is a bit unfortunate. It'll be exciting to I'm happy to be I will take Mira the winner for this match as the higher ranked player.

someone who's made the semi-final as someone who has a game that has more I Think she'll I think she'll take maybe not in straight No, I think she'll win this in straight sets

And then did I give a predict, I'm so sorry I think I forgot to give a prediction for this Svitolina-Swiatek I think Iga wins that And I think she wins it. We'll say three sets again.

And then the last quarterfinal we've got world number two Coco Gauff versus world number eight Madison Keys. the head-to-head 3-2 she's won their last two of them was in Madrid on the clay and then the one before that was...

the grass in 2023 in Eastbourne. So first we'll just take a look at their paths to the final or final, the quarterfinal that is. We'll start with Coco Gauff. She played Olivia Gadecki and won that one relatively easily in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2. Then second round, she played teenager, Teresa Valentova and she won that match in straight sets as well, 6-2, 6-4.

Then third round, played Marie bouzkova won that in straight sets, 6-1, that second set was touch and for her. And then her last round, she played Ekaterina Alexandrova and she won that one 6-0, 7-5. And then for Madison's path to the quarterfinals started Daria Saville she won that match.

comfortably 6-2 6-1 then second round another comfortable match for Madison it was against Katie Boulter and that was 6-1 6-3 then third round more difficult growling match against Sophia Kenin that was 4-6 6-3 7-5 she actually faced two match points in this match and then her most recent match last round against Hailey Baptiste she won that in straight sets

6 3 7 looking at those I would which is something that has been commented on myself but also the tennis community, Coco an easier but I do like to can only play who's in front of you.

and she's beating people she's meant to be beating. She's doing it easily and convincingly. does have moments of like losing serve or her forehand goes wild but it's not detrimental to her match. then Madison Keys has a slightly harder path. The first two rounds were comfortable that third round against Sophia Kennan she showed why she won her first major this facing those break

not even break points, sorry, facing those match being able to come out of on I think maybe I'll say she's more battle tested than but it'd been interesting match because Coco defends well. So she will be making, well, not just well, she probably, would say the in women's tennis.

Madison keys will be made to play an extra shot least an extra couple and Could be something that causes unforced errors, but that's getting a bit more

First of all, think Coco has to serve, she has to serve very, very or else Madison Keys will take advantage of I also think if she doesn't serve well and the double faults creep in, Coco will end up losing the match on her own by giving away free And then Madison Keys also has to serve but she also has to be able to return well and and end points as quickly as possible.

Because if the points become rallies and she's drawn into a long rally against unlikely that she'll or there'll be a high likelihood she'll make a mistake on unforced error. I will both players are quite confident. Madison confident her first Grand won it by beating world two and one in a row.

But then we've got Coco who's made back to back finals in Madrid and Rome. She did lose both of those, but she has of knowing how well she can play on the clay. it'll be interesting to see. Madison Keys has made a semi-final, but that was back in

has made a final that was in 2022 where lost to So I think both players are confident and I this is a three set because I would want to see just more tennis from My prediction, I think this one me, this one's the hardest to predict. Well, I won't say the hardest. ⁓ Yes, actually, this is the hardest to And it's also the one where I'm least confident in my

I'm just going to predict the world number two, Coco, to go through. I think she has something to prove. And I think it might be time for her to prove it at Roland Garros, which is her best, best grand slam.

With that being said, I want to say thank you very much for listening to this episode of Everyone Watches Women's I hope you took something out of or just enjoyed listening to me ramble on. I will see you at the next episode. Thank you. Bye.
