Healing Prayer
Day 26 of 30 Days SWP: When Your Desires and God's Will Collide
Spiritual warfare requires us to recognize the constant battle between flesh and spirit in our daily lives. Our prayer today focuses on divine guidance, using Galatians 5:16-17 as our foundation to understand how walking in the Spirit helps us resist fulfilling the desires of the flesh.
• Learning to be sensitive and obedient to the Holy Spirit's direction
• Breaking down pride and self to better hear God's voice
• Submitting to divine authority even when it contradicts our desires
• Saying yes to God's will when it's unpopular or misunderstood
• Trusting God's guidance during economic uncertainty
• Resting in God's provision as our Good Shepherd
• Believing that God makes ways even in wilderness seasons
Keep your wits about you, saints. Despite what's happening around us, God remains in control, still cares for His people, and has a plan even in these challenging times.

Good morning and welcome to 30 Days of Spiritual Warfare Prayer. Today we are praying for guidance, we're praying that the Lord will lead us, and our scripture for today, our target scripture, is Galatians, the fifth chapter. We're going to do verses 16 and 17. Yes, verses 16 17.
Speaker 1:Read this I say then walk in the spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh, for the flesh lusteth against the spirit and the spirit against the flesh, and these are contrary the one to the other, so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. And that was the King James Version. I'm going to read that from the New International Version of the Bible now. So I say walk by the Spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh, for the flesh desires what is contrary to the spirit and the spirit, what is contrary to blessed Father, we thank you this morning. We give you praise and honor and glory. We give you praise and honor and glory. Your name is magnified, your name is exalted here. Lord, we give you all of the glory, we give you all of the praise. We give you all of the glory, we give you all of the praise, we give you all of the honor. Lord, it all belongs to you, lord, it all belongs to you. This is the day that you have made. We rejoice, we are glad in this day. We rejoice and we are glad in this day. It is just another day that you have kept us. It is just another day that you have kept us, lord. You have kept us as we slept. You have kept us, lord, from one day to another. We thank you, father, we thank you Lord. Oh God, you are great, god, you are great God. You are great God, you are great God, you are great. Hallelujah, god, you are great, hallelujah, god, you are great. Oh, glory to God. God, you are great and greatly to be praised. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, lord. We love you, lord, we love you, lord. Oh, shama, mama, baba, lord, we love you, lord, we love you. Hallelujah, hallelujah.
Speaker 1:Have your way in this prayer today. Have your way, lord, even as we are here. Have your way, father. Have your way, lord, lord, even as we are here. Have your way, father, have your way, lord, you get the glory. You get the glory, you get the praise, lord, hallelujah, you get the glory, lord, hallelujah, lord, you're worthy. Hallelujah, we give you praise. Hallelujah, we give you praise, lord. We pray that you'll guide us. We pray that you'll lead us, lord.
Speaker 1:In the name of Jesus, lord, lead us on paths of righteousness, for a right spirit within us, lord, would help us to have right intentions. Give us a do right mind, father. Give us a do right mind, lord. Give us a ha ha ha. Give us a do right mind, lord. Give us a mind, lord, that glorifies you and not ourselves. Give us us a mind, lord, that promotes you and not ourselves.
Speaker 1:Lord, knowing that you, oh God, you exalt us in the times that we need to be exalted, lord. But, god, we're asking that you'll hide us behind the cross, lord, even today, lord, hide us behind your cross, lord and Lord, you get the glory. Glory, lord, father, we're thanking you, lord. We're thanking you, lord, for guiding us. We're thanking you, lord, for giving us to walk in the Spirit. Lord, lord, we're asking that the Holy Spirit would lead us, that the Holy Spirit would guide our decision-making, that the Holy Spirit would guide our footsteps. In the name of Jesus, give us to be obedient and sensitive to the Spirit of God. In the name of Jesus, give us to be sensitive to the direction that you pull us in, lord, the direction, lord, that you lead us into. Father, give us to be sensitive, lord, oh God, I pray that you'll move this morning, that you'll move, lord, on our hearts, lord, and soften our hearts to your spirit, soften our hearts to your instruction.
Speaker 1:In the name of Jesus, lord, break down pride and self, father. Break it down, lord, that your name might be glorified, glorified In the name of Jesus, lord. Break it down, god, hallelujah, so that we don't find it hard to hear your voice, lord, so that we don't find it hard to feel your direction. In the name of Jesus, lord, whatever you're directing us to do, lord, whatever it is, god, give us to hear and to perceive you, lord, in the name of Jesus, oh God. And then we're praying that you'll give us the strength to obey you in the name of Jesus, lord.
Speaker 1:We realize that you've given us choice, lord. Even back in the Garden of Eden, you gave us choice. But, god, we thank you, lord, and we're asking you, lord, that you'll help us, that you'll help us, lord, to deny flesh, hallelujah. To deny flesh, lord, to deny it, god, and to walk in the spirit, lord, in the name of Jesus, denying what it is that we want to do when we feel your pull in a different direction.
Speaker 1:In the name of Jesus, help us to be obedient, lord. Help us. Help us to submit to your authority. Help us to submit to your way. Help us to submit to your way, lord. In the name of Jesus. Lord, have your way, have your way in our minds, lord, have your way in our hearts. Lord, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, give us to reverence minds. Lord, have your way in our hearts. Lord. In the name of Jesus, oh God, give us to reverence you, lord. Give us to reverence your voice, lord, and to respect it. Father. In the name of Jesus, oh Lord, help us to revere your voice. Lord.
Speaker 1:In the name of Jesus, lord, we're praying, hallelujah, that you'll guide these footsteps. Guide these footsteps, lord, all down through the week. Lord, oh Lord, guide these footsteps, lord oh Lord, even if you need us, father, to change direction, if we're going the wrong way, if we're doing the wrong thing. Lord, we're thanking you, lord, lord, you chase in whom you love, lord, lord, you let us know, hallelujah, because you love us. God, god, I'm asking that you'll give our hearts to be sensitive to your pull. Give our hearts to be sensitive, god, to your redirection. In the name of Jesus, help us to not be high-minded and believe that we know better than what you know, oh God, but you are God and you know the beginning from the end and the end from the beginning. We call you Alpha and Omega, we call you the Ancient of Days, lord. There is nothing that gets beyond your gaze, there is nothing that you miss, lord. And so, god, we're asking that you help us to put our hand in your hand, god, and allow you to guide us. Hallelujah, oh God. Help us to not be stiff-necked, but, god, help us. Help us, lord, to submit.
Speaker 1:Lord, in the name of Jesus, we say yes, lord. We say yes, lord. We say we say yes, lord. We say yes, lord, yes, lord. Hallelujah. Yes to your will, god, yes to your will, god. Yes to your will. My yes to your will, father, oh God. Yes to your will when it's unpopular. Yes to your will when others don't understand it. Lord, understand it, lord. Oh God, we thank you, lord.
Speaker 1:I thank you for these on the line. I thank you, lord, that you're blessing them even now. I thank you, lord, because they are blessed and highly favored. I thank you, god, because you're mindful of them, lord. I thank you, lord, because you love them. Lord, oh God, I thank you.
Speaker 1:I thank you because you are making ways for them, oh God, I thank you. I thank you because you are making ways for them, oh God. Even streams in the desert, god, even streams in the wilderness, lord, lord, you are making ways for them, lord. Paths, oh God, ways, lord, opening doors for them. Lord, oh God, I thank you that when you open a door that no man can shut it, I thank you, lord, that what God has for us is for us.

Your hand of protection, namaste, be upon their loved ones.
Speaker 1:In the name of Jesus, oh God, we thank you because you're a better keeper than we are. Lord, you see those things that we can't see, because, god, you even see the desires and the intentions of the heart we can't see, because, god, you even see the desires and the intentions of the heart. Oh God, I thank you. I thank you for being a mind regulator in our families. I thank you for being a heart fixer in our families. Lord, oh Jesus, I thank you for your healing power. I thank you for your delivering power today.
Speaker 1:In the name of Jesus. Oh Lord, I thank you because we understand the direction of the economy. We understand that it's going down, oh God. We understand, lord hallelujah, that there have been major fluctuations in the stock market. Lord, we thank you, lord, because you guide us, lord. You guide us better, lord, than any financial advisor could do. Guide us better, lord, than any financial advisor could do. You guide us better, lord hallelujah, than anyone that studies the economy can do. Lord, you guide us better, lord, than what the news can do. And so, god, I'm asking that you'll even guide our decision making, that you'll guide our preparation, lord, that you'll guide our footsteps in this uncertain time.
Speaker 1:In the name of Jesus, I thank you because you're a God that provides, regardless of the dryness of the land, regardless of the wilderness. Lord, you lead us to promise. You lead us beside still waters. Lord, you lead us besides still waters, lord, you lead us into green pastures. You're a good shepherd, lord. You're a good shepherd, lord.

Speaker 1:And we're thanking the Lord for our target scripture today Galatians, the fifth chapter, verses 16 and 17. So I say walk by the Spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh, for the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other. So that you are not to do whatever you want? Amen, that you are not to do whatever you want. Amen. Galatians 16 and 17,.
Speaker 1:Praying for the Lord's guidance Hallelujah. I thank the Lord that we can rely on him to lead us. I'm thanking the Lord that we can rely on him to provide for us. We can lean on Jesus, we can lean on God and he will not let us fall. Hallelujah. The word of God says I was young and now I'm old, but I've never seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. Hallelujah. So, saints, keep your wits about you. Hallelujah, in spite of what is going on, in spite of what is happening all around us, god is in control and God still cares for his people and God still has a plan, even in all of this. Amen.
