Speaker 1:

Good morning, happy Friday. We understand that today is Good Friday. We thank the Lord for all that he has done, for his sacrifice for us, and even throughout the day, I encourage you to take time to remember the sacrifice, the greatness of the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. And so we're going to have our scripture and declaration and then, following, I will turn the floor over to Pastor Mark for morning prayer. So our scripture for this morning is Lamentations, the third chapter, verse 22 through 23. The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. Again, the steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness. And our declaration is God loves me and his love and mercy never end. He created new mercy for me this morning. It is a brand new day and I have a brand new start. Amen. And I'm going to turn the floor over to Pastor Mark for prayer.

Speaker 2:

Father, god, in the name of Jesus, lord, we thank you for another day. Oh God, we thank you because you woke us up to see another day. Oh God, we thank you because it wasn't by any goodness of our own, but, god, it was because you are good, because you're good all the time, lord, it was because of your grace and mercy. We thank you, oh God, for your grace and mercy that brought us through, oh God, that allowed us to see another day, that allowed us to wake up with the activities of our limbs, that allowed us to wake up, oh God. And when we opened up our mouth to talk, oh Lord, our voice came out.

Speaker 2:

Lord, we thank you, oh God, because you're good. We thank you, oh God, because you're worthy. We thank you, oh God, because you're worthy of the glory and the honor. O God, we exalt thee, o God, we lift up your name, god, we magnify you. God, we thank you, o God. We thank you because you are a mighty good God, oh God. We thank you, oh God, for the things that we call little but are still great, oh God, for the roof over our head, for the clothes on our back, the shoes on our feet, the food on our table. Oh God, we thank you, oh God, because you've given us a right mind. Oh God, we thank you for a do-right mind, oh God. I thank you, oh God, because had it not been for you on our side, we don't know where we'd be. Oh God, we thank you, oh God. We can only imagine, oh God, how bad off we would be.

Speaker 2:

Oh God, we can only imagine, oh God, what life would be like, oh God, had we not found you. Oh God, I thank you, oh God, because I know, oh God, had I not found you, my life would be over, oh God, I wouldn't live to see today, oh God, but I thank you, oh God, because you're so good, oh Lord. You saw fit, oh God, to find me where I was. You saw fit, lord, to find me where I needed you most, oh God, and I thank you, oh God, I pray on today, oh God, that you get the glory out of our lives. I pray today, oh God, oh God, that your name be glorified, oh God, I pray, oh God, that when people see us, when people look upon your people, oh Lord, oh God, when a stranger looks upon a child of God, that they see a manifestation of you, oh God, that they see a manifestation of you, oh God, that they see you, oh God, in the name of Jesus, oh God, I don't believe we ought to embrace people, oh God, I don't believe that we ought to hurt people, oh God, with our message, oh Lord, but I believe, oh God, oh God, that yet the word of the Lord is sharper than any two-edged sword.

Speaker 2:

Oh God, I pray, o God, that you will give us, o Lord to learn how to be wise with our words. O Lord, I pray, o God, that you give us the heart of Solomon, o Lord, o God. I pray, o God, that you give us, o Lord to want wisdom, o God, o God. Wisdom, o God, not so we can seem like we're more high-minded than others. O God, o God, because you told us not to think of ourselves more highly than we ought to. Lord, o God, but wisdom, o God, so that we can be able to rightly divide the word of truth, o Lord, I pray on today, O God, that you give us, O God, give us, o God, to be who you've called us to be. In the name of Jesus, oh Lord, I know that the world pulls us this way and the world pulls us that way. Lord, oh God, the world throngs and pushes, oh God. But, lord, I pray, oh God, that you will give us to be who you've called us to be. Lord, we want to be more like you, oh God. We want to be more like you, oh God. In the name of Jesus, oh Lord, I pray, oh God, that you give us a mind to strive. Oh God, give us a heart to strive. Oh Lord, in the name of Jesus, we're striving for you.

Speaker 2:

Oh God, in the name of Jesus, oh Lord, I pray today, oh God, that you do your will. Oh God, do your will in our lives. Lord, in the name of Jesus, O Lord, I pray, o God, that you look on those, o God, that are on the prayer list. O God, I pray, o God, that you touch one by one and name by name. O Lord, I pray today, o God, that you look on that one, o God, o God, whose child is sick. O Lord, o Lord, I pray, god, that you touch the child. Lord, Our child is sick, oh Lord, oh Lord, I pray, god, that you touch the child. Lord, touch the back, oh God, touch the front, oh God, in the name of Jesus, heal like only you can. Lord, oh hallelujah, lord, I pray today, god, that you get the glory from it.

Speaker 2:

Oh Lord, in the name of Jesus, oh Lord, I pray, oh God, that you will turn it around. God, in the name of Jesus, oh Lord, we need you more now than ever before. God, oh God, we need you even now. God, oh, hallelujah, lord. Sometimes, oh God, we have a tendency to want to do things ourselves and want to get the glory for it, oh God, want to get the recognition for it, lord. But I pray, oh God, that when you do the things that we need you to do in our lives, that you get the glory out of it. Lord, in the name of Jesus, oh Lord, I pray that you give us a mind and heart, oh God, to tell the truth that God did it. Oh hallelujah Lord. Even today, god, oh God, to tell the truth that God did it. Oh hallelujah Lord. Even today, god, oh God, this is Good Friday, oh God. That's so good, oh Lord, because you gave, oh God, oh God, a sacrifice, oh Lord, that no one else would be willing to give.

Speaker 2:

Oh God, your sacrifice to life for us, lord, in the name of Jesus, oh hallelujah, lord, I thank you, oh God, because your sacrifice, oh God, after your sacrifice, the son refused to sign. Oh, hallelujah Lord, oh Lord, I pray today, god, oh God, that you will get the glory Lord, oh, hallelujah Lord, I pray, oh God, that you will give us a mind, oh Lord, to be, oh God, oh Lord, give us a mind, lord, oh God, to be aware, Lord, of the things, oh God, that you've done. Oh God, on this stage, 2,025 years ago. Oh, in the name of Jesus, oh Lord, I pray God, oh God, I pray, lord, that you touch on today, god, oh Lord, I pray, god, that you get the glory.

Speaker 2:

Lord, in the name of Jesus, oh God, touch our children, lord, oh God, I pray that you save to the utmost, oh God, I pray God, that you give them to have no fear God. Touch our children, lord, oh God, I pray that you save to the unmost, oh God, I pray God, that you give them to have no fear God and understand that Jesus is here. Oh God, I thank you, lord, because Jesus is the everlasting Father, the wonderful Counselor. Oh God, the Prince of Peace, oh God, I thank you, oh God, because Jesus is the Almighty God, oh God, I thank you, oh God, because you dwell among us, oh God, oh God, I thank you because, oh God, I thank you, jesus, because you took on human flesh, oh God, and you dwelt among us, oh God, oh God, for 32 years, oh Lord. I thank you, oh God, because you are so so, you're so good, lord, you're so good, you're so good, oh Lord.

Speaker 2:

I pray on today, oh God, that you will show yourself mighty, oh Lord. I thank you, oh God, because, as we go through the day, lord, I pray, oh God, that you will give us to be more aware, more aware of your presence, more aware that you're there, oh God. Because, oh Lord, when we're aware that you're there, oh God, there's some things we just won't do, oh God, I pray, oh God, that our lives please you, oh God, that we not let you down, oh God, oh God, I pray, lord, that this be the start of a turnaround, o God, whereas our lives, o God, were a disappointment to you, o God, O God, I pray, o God, that you will turn our lives around, o God, I thank you, jesus, because you are trying us, as you tried Job, o God, I thank you, lord Jesus, oh God, because you are asking oh, shabbat, have you considered my servant? Oh Lord, I thank you for considering us.

Speaker 2:

Oh God, in the name of Jesus, oh Lord, I pray, oh God, that you will give us, oh Lord, give us what it takes to pass the test. Oh God, oh Lord, I pray, oh God, to give us what it takes, oh Lord, to make it to the other side of the test. Oh Lord, I thank you, jesus. Oh hallelujah Lord, oh, you're so good, you're so good. Oh, hallelujah Lord, oh, you're so good, You're so good, oh, you're so good Lord.

Speaker 1:

Oh.

Speaker 2:

Oh Lord, I pray that on today, oh God, that you will continue, oh God, to show us your will for our lives. Oh God, lead, guide and direct our path. Oh God, oh God, we don't want to move in a direction, oh God, that doesn't involve you. Oh God, you said that in all our ways, acknowledge you and you shall direct our path, oh Lord, I pray, oh God, that you will direct our path today. Oh God, oh gosh, order our steps in your word. Oh God, in the name of Jesus, oh God, I thank you, oh God, oh God, I thank you for this time, oh God, as we've come together this morning, oh God, I thank you, o God, o God, I thank you for this time. O God, as we've come together this morning, O God, early, will we seek thee, o God, and we thank you, o God, because we have sought you early. O God, o God, I pray on today, o God, o Lord, that we be mindful of you. I pray, o God, that you'll keep our minds stayed on Jesus. O Lord, I thank you, jesus. I pray on today, oh God, that you will keep our minds astate on Jesus. Oh Lord, I thank you, jesus. I pray on today, oh God, that you will do these things for us. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I pray, amen and amen. Amen. God bless you, amen.

Speaker 2:

I certainly thank the Lord for the opportunity to pray with you on this Friday, this good Friday morning. We thank the Lord for his sacrifice, as today is a day where it commemorates how, 2,025 years ago, the Lord died for our sins innocent, but took on the guilt for us. And we thank the Lord because we know that there are those who don't believe, but it's up to us to show them, it's up to us to give them the word. Give them the word. We can't make anybody believe, but we can give them the opportunity to do so. We thank the Lord. We thank the Lord because he's a good God. He's so good, he's better than good. God bless you.

Speaker 2:

I pray that you have an awesome day. I pray that you have an awesome day. I pray that you have a day of memory, memories of how good God has been in your life. Had Jesus not done what he did, our lives wouldn't be as they are today, but we certainly thank God for him. Amen. I thank the Lord for you. God bless you. Have an awesome, awesome day, and may heaven continue to smile upon you. That's my prayer. Bless you.
