Good morning, welcome to morning prayer. We honor the Lord this morning and we thank him for another day. Our scripture for this morning is Psalms, the 23rd chapter. Well, the 23rd Psalm, verse 6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long. House of the Lord, my whole life long. Our declaration for today is I dwell in God's presence this morning and trust that his goodness and mercy will be with me throughout the day.
Speaker 1:Father, god, we thank you and we praise your name. We lift up your name. It is glorious. We praise your name. We lift up your name. It is glorious. Your name is awesome. Your name is might, hallelujah. Your name is strength.
Speaker 1:Lord, we thank you today.
Speaker 1:We thank you. We thank you for another day. We thank you for another day. We thank you for another day, lord. We thank you for another day. Lord, in spite of how we feel this morning, we thank you for another day. We thank you for another day in the land of the living. We thank you, father Hallelujah. Oh God, there might be aches and pains this morning, but, lord, we're still on this side of glory and we thank you. We thank you for being able to experience life, Lord, the gift of life that you have given us. Oh God, we thank you. We thank you and we praise you. We thank you for your blood that has never lost its power. We thank you for what you did for us on Calvary, the miraculous thing that you did for us, the wonderful thing that you did for us, the selfless thing that you did for us. Oh Lord, we thank you that you reign in victory. We thank you, lord Hallelujah, that you reign in victory. Thank you, father. Thank you, father Hallelujah, for being the resurrection. Thank you for being the resurrection. We thank you for the time that has been set apart to celebrate you in this season, oh Father, and just because Easter has come and gone, father, we thank you even today and we commemorate all that you've done for us daily. And we commemorate all that you've done for us daily, oh Lord. We commemorate it daily, not just during the season, not just during the spring. But, father, we take daily hallelujah, we take stock of what you have done for us daily, and we thank you, father.
Speaker 1:Lord, I pray. I pray for clean hearts. I pray for clean hearts, lord, oh God, give us a clean heart. Lord, renew a right spirit. Lord, in the name of Jesus.
Speaker 1:Father, you know habits that we deal with, lord, father, you know, you know all about it. Lord, you know the ways that we have that are not pleasing to you. Oh Lord, I'm asking that you'll clean us, god. Give us brand new desires, lord, oh God, give us brand new desires. Lord, take the taste and the satisfaction out of doing what it is that is not pleasing to you. Let us find no satisfaction in it. Father, in the name of Jesus, oh God, we thank you, lord. We thank you, lord, because only you can make us new. Oh God, only you can do it. And, god, we thank you for making us new. In the name of Jesus, we thank you for making us new. In the name of Jesus, father, we thank you for goodness and mercy. Father, we thank you that it follows us. It follows us, god. Your goodness runs after us. Your mercy runs after us. Lord, oh, father, we thank you that it follows us today. Father, in the name of Jesus, oh Lord, some say that there's nothing good about a Monday. But, god, we thank you because when we have you, lord, then we experience goodness and mercy. On a Monday, god, I thank you for your goodness. Oh God, you're so good, you're so good, god, you're so good, you're so good, god, you're so good, you're so good, lord, hallelujah, oh God, I thank you because your word declares that you know the thoughts that you, of good and not of evil, to bring us into unexpected end. Father, oh Lord, we thank you. We thank you, god, that, even in the midst of suffering and hardships, lord, oh, it's only, but for a little while, god. It's only for a little while, because, god, you have a desire to be good to us. You have, oh God, you have a desire and a heart to be good to us. We thank you because we serve a good God. We serve a God that wants what is best for us. We serve a God that they call Father, that they call Father Adonai, god, we thank you because we serve a Father, not just a God that is detached from us, but a Father, a loving Father. A loving Father that will shield his children, a loving father that will give all for his children, a loving father that observes the needs of his children and supplies them accordingly. Oh God, we thank you for being not just God, but being God, our father, god. I thank you, father, I thank you, lord, for how good you are to us and how good you will be to us. God, even today, lord, I thank you, lord. I thank you, lord, because even in hard situations, oh, the goodness of God is still in the situation. The goodness of God is still still there. Oh God, you still have ways in there, a means in there to get us to the place of your goodness and God. I thank you today In the name of Jesus, oh Lord, I'm asking that you'll cover your people under your blood. In the name of Jesus, bless their going out, god. Bless their going out, god, bless their coming in. Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray that you lay out a path for us today, a straight path, lord, a path that we can follow, oh God, so a path that will lead us into your will, a path that will lead us to your heart, lord, or a path that is pleasing to you, lord. In the name of Jesus, oh God, we submit our plans to you, lord. Oh, a path that is pleasing to you, lord, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, we submit our plans to you, lord, we submit our agenda to you today and, god, we say have your way in our plans, have your way in our agenda, Lord. Help us, lord, to not be angry and upset, lord, when things don't go exactly how we expect them to go. But, god, give us to know that, when we give our day to you, god, that you have a reasoning for how things lay out, lord. God, you have a reasoning for how things are diverted, god, lord, you have a reason in God and God, we thank you because your reasoning is there to protect us. Your reasoning is there to get us to a place of manifestation. Your reasoning is there, lord, and it's a part of your divine plan. And, god, we thank you for your plan, your perfect plan, your wise plan, your good plan, your wise plan, your good plan, yes, god, your good plan, your plan that grows us and matures us in the way, your plan, lord, hallelujah, that readies us to be better servants and better vessels. God, god, we thank you for your plan today. Oh God, I'm asking, hallelujah, that you'll help us, lord, to see your might and to lean on it today, to lean on the strength of God where we feel weary and weak and worn. Lord, help us to lean on the might and the strength of God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we ask for strength today. We ask you for strength today, not just natural strength, god, but God, a strength that comes from above, lord, a strength that does not run out. Lord, in the name of Jesus, oh Jesus, have your way today, have your way today, have your way today. We say yes, lord, lord, yes, lord, yes, lord, yes, lord, have your way. Jesus, oh God, we thank you, we thank you, we thank you for touching our children and our children's children. Have your way, god, cover and protect. Lord, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, you're able, you're able to do it. Lord, send peace to our homes, oh God, send peace to our homes, lord, and the issues, lord, that have caused us stress. Father, lord, I thank you, I thank you for sending answers, I thank you for giving us peace as you work us through it, god, as you bring us through it. Lord, in the name of Jesus, we thank you. We thank you, god, we thank you. We thank you, god, we thank you, hallelujah. We thank you because you are more than enough. You are more than enough and you are everything, hallelujah, that we could ever need, everything we could ever hope for God. We thank you, hallelujah for God. We thank you, hallelujah, god. We're asking hallelujah that you'll do these things. Oh God, in Jesus's name, thank God and amen. Hallelujah. Our verse and our declaration Psalm 23, verse 6. Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long. Our declaration I dwell in God's presence this morning and trust that his goodness and mercy will be with me throughout the day. Amen. It's a beautiful day to experience grace and mercy. Hallelujah. It's a good day to experience goodness, the goodness of God, hallelujah. I challenge you that, as you go through your day, regardless of what is going on, to begin to look for the goodness of God in your situation. Hallelujah, it doesn't matter if someone cuts you off and you don't get there as soon as you wanted to, hallelujah, but we understand that it's in the plan of God. We walk in the plan of God. Who's to tell what accidents we missed? Who's to tell what situations wouldn't be good for us, that God covers us from, so we understand that, as his children, that our steps are ordered and our steps today are drenched in goodness and mercy. Have a wonderful day. God bless you.
