Morning Light: Finding God's Hope

Healing Word Ministries Season 2 Episode 8

We magnify the Lord for gifting us with another day, centering our hearts on Jeremiah 29:11 and declaring that God's plans for us are good and filled with hope for a great future.

• God's plans for us are intentional and designed for our good, not for disaster
• Surrendering our agendas to God's will aligns us with His divine purpose
• Being led by the Spirit helps us overcome fear that keeps us from following God's direction
• God provides for us even in wilderness seasons and uncharted territories
• Peace in our homes and families comes through Spirit-led communication
• Prayer for our children establishes a legacy of faith for generations to come
• God remains with us through every situation—disappointments and mountaintop experiences alike
• Even when circumstances don't look or feel good, God is working to bring us to a place of receiving His goodness

Remember, God has good plans for us regardless of how our day is starting or how we're feeling right now.

Speaker 1:

Good morning, welcome to Morning Prayer, thanking the Lord for April 22nd, for how God has been keeping us and how he has gifted us with another day. Our scripture for today is Jeremiah, the 29th chapter, verse 11. For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. Jeremiah 29 and 11. Lord, they are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Our declaration for today is that God's plans for me today are good and filled with hope for a great future. Lord, we love you and we magnify you. You are Lord of Lords, you are King of our hearts, you are King of Kings. Lord, we bless your name.

Speaker 1:

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. We start our day giving you praise. We start our day giving you praise. We start our day honoring you. We start our day, hallelujah, giving ourselves to you Hallelujah. But have your way. Have your way today. In the name of Jesus, holy Spirit, have free reign here. In the name of Jesus, oh, touch our hearts, touch our minds, hallelujah. Touch our hearts, touch our minds. Touch our hearts and our minds, father, hallelujah. Touch our hearts and our minds until our intentions become pure, until our intentions intentions become pure, until our intentions, hallelujah, are selfless. In the name of Jesus. O ba-shabba-va-ho-shabba, god, have your way, lord. Create in us a clean heart, lord, renew a right spirit, father, hallelujah, Lord, we need a new heart, hallelujah, a heart that will serve you, a heart that will do your will, lord. Lord, give us a new heart, father, a heart after the things of God, a heart not after the things of this world, but a heart after your desires, father. In the name of Jesus, father, we thank you and even now we ask that you'll forgive us of our sins, father, and our iniquities. Today, lord, wash us all over again, wash us freshly and renew us. God, renew us, god, make us new all over again. God, in the name of Jesus, lord, I thank you, father. In the name of Jesus, lord, I thank you, father. I thank you, god, for April 22nd. I thank you, lord, for a day that we have never seen before. Father, lord, you gifted us another day. You've gifted us more time, more time here, god and Lord, we are gifted this time from your hand. Lord, we didn't purpose ourselves to be alive today, but, god, you have allowed it to be, and God, we thank you. We thank you for giving us time. We thank you, lord, for allowing us this morning and this opportunity to pray and to lift our hearts to you, father.

Speaker 1:

Oh God, I'm asking that you will align us, lord, with your will. In the name of Jesus, Lord, we have plans, we have desires, we have things that we want to do today, but, god, we surrender those things to you. Father. Lord, we're asking that you'll be in our agenda. We're asking, father, that you'll do what you feel is necessary in our day-to-day, that you'll lead us and guide our footsteps. Father, in the name of Jesus, we want to walk in purpose. We want to walk in your timing, oh God. We want to walk, hallelujah, in the way that you would have us to go, lord. We don't want to go off on our own journey, lord, but, lord, we want to go in the journey that you have allotted for us. Lord, your word says that you have plans for us. You have plans for us. You have plans for April 22nd 2025. Lord, let us walk in your plan for today.

Speaker 1:

In the name of Jesus, lord, we put our hand in your hand today, father, lord, give us to be led in what we do and what we say and where we go. In the name of Jesus, lord, we want to do what's pleasing. We want to do what is right, father, by your standards. In the name of Jesus, oh God, I ask, father, that you'll bind up fear, lord. I ask Father that you'll bind up fear, lord, fear that keeps us from doing your will, fear that keeps us from listening to what you are saying to us, god. Lord, you tell us what you want us to do, lord, you lay it on our hearts, father. But, god, then we begin to doubt. Oh God, I'm asking that you'll help us, father, help us to not be fearful, but, god, to do what it is that you're speaking to us to do, lord, in the name of Jesus, oh God, give us to be strong and courageous, even as you told Joshua, even as you promised Joshua. You told him that if he would be strong, if he would be courageous and follow your statutes, follow your laws, god, that he would achieve success. God, I pray, lord, that you'll help us, god, to be strong.

Speaker 1:

In a time, lord, where it seems like things are not easy, do what it is that you'd have us to do. Oh God, I'm praying for households today. I pray for peace in our homes, in the name of Jesus, lord. Peace in our relationships, peace in our families, in the name of Jesus, lord. Peace in our marriages, lord, oh God. Peace among siblings, father, father, in the name of Jesus, oh God, I thank you, lord, for letting your peace rest in our homes, rest on our hearts. In the name of Jesus, oh God.

Speaker 1:

When the enemy comes in and desires for there to be confusion and discord, father, give us to see his trap and his snare. God, oh God, and give us, lord to follow peace, lord, his snare, god, oh God, and give us, lord to follow peace. Lord, in the name of Jesus, to be spirit-led, father, and how we talk to each other and what we do. Lord, in the name of Jesus, oh God, we thank you for stewarding us with families, oh God, putting loved ones around us, father, lord, give us to handle them with care, lord, even as you handle us. Father, in the name of Jesus, god, I thank you, lord.

Speaker 1:

I'm asking, father, that you'll touch today. Father, oh God, even as the news comes out with different headlines and different things coming to our recognition, father, father, I ask Lord that you'll help us to not be fearful, lord, but to go through the day believing that you will yet provide for us, oh God, that you will yet be in the midst of every situation, that you will not leave us, nor forsake us, oh God, you will not leave us to deal with tariffs, you will not leave us to deal with economic, you will not leave us to deal with economic decline. But, god, you'll be God in the midst of all of that and you'll provide in the midst of all of that. God was thanking you, lord, oh God, because you're able to carve out a way for your people.

Speaker 1:

If you did it in a wilderness, god, where there were no roads, no paths, god, oh God, where there was no way to guide from north, south, east to west. If you did it in a territory that had not been tamed, oh God, you're able to do it. In this wilderness of our lives, in this uncharted territory, in this place where we've not been before God, you're able to be God and lead us through. You're able to lead us through the wilderness and to bring us out to promise and to bring us out to where you want us to be, god. We thank you, we thank you, lord, we thank you that. We thank you, we thank you, lord, we thank you that we don't stand in this alone, father.

Speaker 1:

Oh God, there's not one situation that we're encountering right now that we stand alone, but, god, we thank you that you're our very present help in the time of trouble. We thank you, god, because we call you Emmanuel, your God with us, your God that is with us in every situation, your God that is with us through every disappointment, your God that is with us even on the mountaintop. Oh God, when things are going well, god, you're there with us and we thank you. And you're there with us right now. You're there with us right now. You're there with us. You're here and you're starting the day with us, father, and we thank you.

Speaker 1:

Lord. Oh God, give us to not pull our hand away from you today, but, god, give us to let you lead us. In the name of Jesus, god, I ask for us to have discerning spirits. Oh God, in the name of Jesus, give us discerning and praying spirits, god, throughout the day. God, give us to be prayerful in where we go and what we do and how we do things. Father, oh God, give us to submit and to ask you, to ask you for clarity, to ask you for wisdom, to ask you should I do this or should I do that, lord, help us to invite you into our decision making. In the name of Jesus, oh hallelujah, if you help us to make a decision, we understand that it will be the best decision that we make. Father, help us, lord, to submit our decisions to you. Lord, in the name of Jesus.

Speaker 1:

God, you never told us to be everything. You never told us, father, to have all of the knowledge. You never told us to have all of that, but, god, you told us to follow you. Lord, you told us that you would give us wisdom. God, you told us that if we asked for it, that you would give it to us. And God, I thank you, lord. Lord, we ask for wisdom today. Lord, give it to us openly and freely.

Speaker 1:

Father, in the name of Jesus, god, we admit that there's areas that we just don't know about. God, we're asking that you'll help us in those areas. In the name of Jesus, you and I praise you, god, because we've been celebrating Hallelujah. We've been celebrating your ascension, god. We've been celebrating hallelujah, your resurrection, father and God. I thank you, lord, for all that you are. Lord, I thank you, lord, that your name is exalted here on the earth. I thank you, god, that your name, hallelujah, is receiving glory and praise and adoration. Father, oh God, help us, father. Help us, lord, to continue to think of you throughout the day, to continue to remember all that you have done for us.

Speaker 1:

Lord, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, we understand that the enemy comes and tries to fight our minds and tries to give us to feel that things are hopeless or that things will never get better. But, god, I thank you. I thank you that, with you being the resurrection, that you have showed us that you're almighty, that you're all-powerful, lord, that you're able, lord, to do what we've never seen before. You're able to do things beyond our understanding and beyond our reasoning. God, I thank you for being God and doing, exceeding abundantly, above all that we ask or think.

Speaker 1:

Lord, I thank you. I thank you, god, for touching our children. God, I'm asking for coverage. God, cover them, god, throughout the day, in the name of Jesus. Cover them with your blood, in the name of Jesus, lord, keep them when they don't want to be kept. Your blood, in the name of Jesus, lord, keep them when they don't want to be kept. Father, oh God, you're able to do it. You're able to do it, father. Keep them, Lord, oh God, even in their ignorance. Lord, father, keep them. In the name of Jesus, lord, I pray that you'll keep our children. God, I pray that you'll save them. I pray that you'll deliver them. I pray that you'll fill them with the gift of the Holy Ghost, and that with a mighty burning fire.

Speaker 1:

In the name of Jesus, oh God, let our hallelujah. The generations to come hold the legacy of holiness. Father, in the name of Jesus, oh God, grandchildren and our children's children give them to serve you. Lord, oh God, because of the decisions that we made to put you first, father, oh God, let the legacy, hallelujah, of being believers, the legacy of following Jesus, god, let that go on for years and years to come.

Speaker 1:

Father, in the name of Jesus, oh God, you're able, hallelujah, you're able, lord, you're able to turn their hearts and their minds to you. Oh God, even that one that said they'll never follow you. God, we thank you because that's what they think. Hallelujah, but, lord, you have a plan for their lives. And, god, I ask, lord, that you'll move mightily.

Speaker 1:

In the name of Jesus, oh God, I pray that you'll touch those that are dealing with grief, those that are dealing with grief and mourning God. God, I pray, lord, that you will lift her of their head. God, I pray that you'll give them, lord, how to move forward, lord, and to continue living. Lord, even though they've lost someone. I pray that you'll give them hallelujah to allow that one to live through them. Lord Hallelujah, allow that person, hallelujah, to allow that one to live through them. Lord Hallelujah, allow that person, hallelujah, that they lost to live through them. Father, in the name of Jesus, to carry them on. God, hallelujah, give them the strength to carry on.

Speaker 1:

Lord, in the name of Jesus, oh God, I'm asking that you'll have your way today. Have your way, god. Lord, touch bodies today. Heal bodies, hallelujah, Lord, remove aches and pains today. In the name of Jesus, oh God, remove headaches today, oh God. Oh God, give our hearts to beat as they should today. Hallelujah, we bind palpitations. God. Hallelujah, in the name of Jesus, oh God, give our hearts, lord, to do Hallelujah we have designed them to do. In the name of Jesus, oh Lord, I'm asking that you'll move mightily and have your way here. In Jesus' name, thank God and amen. Amen, hallelujah, we thank the Lord. We thank the Lord. We thank the Lord.

Speaker 1:

Our scripture for today, jeremiah 29 and 11, for I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. And our declaration is God's plans for me today are good and filled with hope for a great future. God's plans for me today are good and filled with hope for a great future. Hallelujah. We serve a good God that has good plans for us, regardless of what the day is starting like and how we're feeling right now. We understand that God has good plans for us and even when things don't look good or don't feel good, we understand that God is good and that he's getting us into a place to receive his goodness, amen. And so we will be back tomorrow, if the Lord is willing. God bless you and have a wonderful day.
