The Divine Shield: Finding Strength When You Are Discouraged

Healing Word Ministries Season 2 Episode 13

The morning prayer session focuses on combating discouragement through Psalm 3:3, highlighting God as our shield and the lifter of our heads during challenging times.

• God serves as a shield that protects us from discouragement, depression, anxiety and stress
• The function of a shield is to block every weapon or arrow aimed at us
• We find safety and protection under God's wings like birds sheltering their young
• God lifts our heads when we're feeling insecure or don't know what to do
• The joy of the Lord is our strength through difficult circumstances
• Every spiritual tool we have was purchased with Christ's precious blood
• Being in God's presence is invaluable and should not be taken for granted
• We can declare "God is my shield and my glory; He lifts my head high"
• We must be vigilant throughout the day, watching our emotions and temper
• The blood of Jesus prevails against enemy attacks on us and our families

We invite you to join us daily at Healing Word for morning prayer as we seek God's presence and power together.
