Healing Prayer
Divine Protection in a Chaotic World
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
What does it mean to have God as your shield? Drawing from the powerful imagery of Psalm 3:3-4, this intimate morning prayer session explores the multidimensional protection God provides for His people.
Divine protection operates around us continuously, often in ways we never see or fully comprehend. Unlike physical shields that only guard one side, God's protection forms a complete barrier against seen and unseen dangers. The prayer delves into personal testimonies of God's faithfulness—moments when we've "run past stop signs" in life yet experienced supernatural preservation despite our distraction or carelessness.
The battlefield of the mind receives special attention as we confront how the enemy attacks through fear, anxiety, and depression. These mental assaults can prove more devastating than physical ones, but God's shield extends to our thought life, deflecting destructive patterns and preserving our mental wellbeing. The prayer powerfully binds spirits of depression and fear while inviting God's peace to reign in troubled minds.
Perhaps most beautifully, we explore what it means for God to be "the lifter of our heads." When life's circumstances push us toward despair and downcast spirits, God gently raises our countenance, restoring dignity and redirecting our gaze toward hope. This divine perspective shift transforms how we navigate challenges, helping us see beyond our immediate troubles to the God who answers when we cry out.
Whether you're facing visible threats or battling unseen enemies of the mind and spirit, this prayer session will remind you of the unshakable shield that surrounds those who trust in God. Experience the comfort of knowing you're covered by divine protection that never sleeps, never fails, and never leaves you exposed.

We thank you, god, for how you keep us, for how your angels are encamped round about us, oh God, we thank you Lord. God, we can't see it, oh God. Many times we can't see, oh God, many times we may not even notice.
Speaker 1Lord, but God, you are our shield and our protector. Lord, you keep us. You keep us in all of our ways. God, oh Lord, we thank you for how you continue, lord, to consistently, day after day, cover us under the blood and protect us. For how you continue, day after day, oh God, allowing our moments to roll on, for how you continue, day after day, to grant us the breath of life. Oh God, we thank you, we thank you, god, we thank you, god, we thank you, we thank you, oh, my, my God. We thank you, we thank you, we thank you, god, for how you're so consistently keeping us and shielding us and preventing hurt, harm and danger.
Speaker 1Oh God, we thank you, we thank you, lord, that you're a God that cares so much about us that you don't allow a trial or a situation that is above us to overtake us, oh God. But you monitor, you monitor what we go through and, god, you only allow what it is that we can handle. With your grace and God, we thank you. Oh God, you are a shield around us. You are a shield around us, oh God. You deflect the fiery darts of the enemy. Oh, you deflect the world that would harm us. The Lifter of Our Heads
Speaker 1The word of God says I will lift up my eyes to the hills from which cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord. You keep our heads lifted, o God, that we may see the glory of the Lord. You keep our heads lifted, god, hallelujah, that we may walk in hope. O God, that we may walk in reverence. O God, that we may walk in recognition, lord, recognizing, o God, you as being our God, recognizing, hallelujah, you as being the one, the one that is keeping us. Oh God, we thank you, Lord, for lifting up our heads.

God, that we don't come out burned or singed, oh God, but we come walking out in one piece, god. We come walking out with a testimony. We come walking out, god, hallelujah, declaring the goodness of God. Oh God, we thank you, lord. We thank you, lord, for your great faithfulness. We thank you, lord, for being so good. We thank you, god, for being so good. You're such a good God, you're such a good God, you're such a good God, oh Lord. We thank you, lord, oh God, for how you keep us, lord, even when we don't prevent it from overtaking us.
Speaker 1Oh, the word of God declares, hallelujah, that the enemy is going about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Oh God, we thank you that you don't let the devourer have his way. You don't let the devourer come in and kill, steal and destroy, but, god, you keep us day after day, day after day, and for that you deserve our thanks and for that you deserve our trust, and for that you deserve our life. And we bless you, lord, and we give you glory, god.
Battling Mind Attacks
Speaker 1Oh God, I'm asking, father, that you'll touch your people today. Touch the mind, god, shield the mind, god, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, the enemy has created a battlefield in the mind. The enemy is attacking the minds of your people. The enemy is attacking the mind because he knows that as a man thinketh, so is he. If a man thinks low, then he'll be low. If a man looks up, then he'll be up. Oh God, we thank you. Lord. I ask today, I ask God, that you'll infiltrate the plan of the enemy that comes against our mind.
Speaker 1In the name of Jesus, bind up fear In the name of Jesus. Bind up fear In the name of Jesus. Bind up anxiety In the name of Jesus. Bindind up anxiety in the name of Jesus. Bound it up in the name of Jesus and cast it out. Oh God, cast it out. Oh God, cast it out. Oh God, in the name of Jesus, oh God, help us, lord, help us, god, to trust you the more. Help us, god to walk in faith and to walk in victory.
Speaker 1In the name of Jesus, oh God, help us to recognize the lie of the enemy when it comes to our mind. When we begin to think, oh God, the thoughts that are not, hallelujah, scriptural. When we begin to think, hallelujah, the thoughts, lord, that keep us bound. Hallelujah, the thoughts, lord, that keep us bound. Help us to realize that the enemy is being busy in our mind. When we begin to say we can't. When we begin to say, hallelujah, that you've forgotten about us. When we begin to say that no one cares, oh God, oh God.
Speaker 1When the lies of the enemy begin to speak in our minds, oh God, I pray that you'll be a shield, god In the name of Jesus. Be a shield, god In the name of Jesus, oh God, and deflect those lies. God, in the name of Jesus, don't allow them to take root in our spirit. God, in the name of Jesus, don't allow them to take root in our spirit. God In the name of Jesus, oh God. I pray, lord, that you'll do a work, oh God, that you'll charge hallelujah the enemy, that you'll hallelujah, cast the enemy out of the mind.
Speaker 1In name of Jesus, oh God, cast out depression. Oh God, cast out depression. We bind the spirit of depression, the lies of depression, and we cast them into dry places. In the name of Jesus, oh God. We thank you, lord. We thank you, lord, that you're the lifter of our head. We thank you, lord. We thank you, lord, that you're the lifter of our head. We thank you, lord, that you're the lifter of our head. We thank you, lord, that you keep our minds. We thank you, lord, hallelujah, that you give us hope. Lord, oh God, give us the hope in you, lord.
Speaker 1If we can't hope in anything else, god, if we can't esteem anything else, god, god, give us to have God esteem in the name of Jesus, oh God, give us confidence. If we don't have confidence in ourselves, give us confidence in you, lord. In the name of Jesus, oh God, hallelujah, we may not trust ourselves, we may not think ourselves to be capable, but God, give us to at least believe you to be capable. In the name of Jesus, help us, lord, help us God, help us, god, us God, help us, god, help us, god. Somebody been bound long enough. God, help Lord, help Lord.
Speaker 1In the name of Jesus, oh God, I pray the Lord, hallelujah, hallelujah that shall break the yoke today, that shall break and destroy every yoke of the enemy. I pray, lord, that shall break and destroy every loose. In the name of Jesus, I pray, lord, that the captive, the captive mind, the, be free today, to be free in the spirit today, oh God, whom the sun sets free, is free indeed, lord. Set them free, lord, even as you did for Paul and Silas. Lord, set them free, lord, let their bands be loose today.
Prayer for Healing and Strength
Speaker 1In the name of Jesus, oh God, I pray, lord, that you'll look upon those that are sick, god, those that are not well, lord, oh God, you told us to pray the prayer of faith, pray the prayer of faith that they may be healed, lord. So, god, we pray, lord, that you'll touch them even now. Oh, we let our faith go out even now. Oh God, you are a healer, you are a healer, you are the balm and Gilead, oh God, you still heal, you still deliver, you still do it, lord, and I'm asking, lord, that you'll touch those, oh God, on the prayer list that are not well, Lord, oh God, I pray that you'll restore their health. In the name of Jesus, oh God, I pray, lord, that you'll restore, restore, restore in the name of Jesus, oh God, I thank you, lord, for putting back together that which might be broken. Speaker 1I pray, Lord, lord, for those hallelujah that are struggling, lord, struggling to make it from day to day. I pray, god, that you'll give them strength. I pray, god, that you'll blow on them today. Blow strength on them in the name of Jesus. I pray that you'll encourage their heart, encourage them to keep going, encourage them to know, lord, that the things that they're doing, that they feel, nobody sees that you see it, god, and that you are a rewarder, oh God. You reward those, lord, that do things in secret, openly, oh God. You reward them, oh God, in front of others, even though they've done it, oh God, just out of the kindness of their heart. Oh God, I thank you, lord, I'm asking that you'll see that person today, that you'll smile on that person today.
Speaker 1In the name of Jesus, oh God, in the name of Jesus, oh God, I thank you right now. Lord, you're so good, you're so good, god. I pray God that you'll touch and strengthen your people, god, that you'll touch and strengthen your people, god, that you'll touch and strengthen your people, that you'll shield, hallelujah, and protect them. Hallelujah, in the name of Jesus, oh God, I thank you because you've got us covered. Hallelujah, I thank you because you've got us covered. Hallelujah, regardless of what comes today, regardless of what we may hear about today, lord, you've got us covered. Hallelujah.
Speaker 1We thank you, Lord, for your angels that are all around us, that keep us. Hallelujah. We thank you, lord, hallelujah, for how you intentionally allow us, oh God, to wake up every morning. Oh God, you're so good. We thank you, god, and even as we go through the day, even as we go through the day. God, I'm asking that you'll lead us, that you'll guide every footstep, every interaction, and, god, we'll be so careful to give your name all of the praise and all of the glory In Jesus' mighty name. Thank God and amen, hallelujah. We thank the Lord.
Speaker 1We thank the Lord for prayer this morning. Thank the Lord for being a shield around us. You know, we thank God. I don't know about you, but there's been times when I've run past a stop sign, distracted, there's times that different things have gone on and I just wasn't all the way paying attention. But God, hallelujah. But God. But God kept us. Hallelujah.
Speaker 1So many testimonies about how God keeps and protects his people. Hallelujah, and we just thank God for being that shield to us, for being that one that keeps us. Hallelujah, that keeps us even when we're being foolish. We thank the Lord for being that kind of God.
Closing Reflection and Testimonies
Speaker 1A little piece of our devotional reads God is your protector, your honor and your strength. Even when others turn away or life gets overwhelming, he lifts your head with compassion and power. When you cry out, he answers, not with silence, but with his presence. Amen. We thank the Lord that when we cry out, he answers us and that he sits there and he shields and protects us. We thank God for all that he is to us. We're honoring the Lord this morning, honoring Pastor Mark Beaman Jr and the Healing Word family, asking that you will continue to pray and keep us in your prayers. Amen, and we will be back tomorrow. Yes, it will be July 4th, if it is the Lord's willing, but we will be up tomorrow in prayer for those that are wanting to participate and we will give the Lord praise if it be the Lord's will. All right. Have a wonderful day. God bless you.
