Have you ever felt completely alone in your struggles? Today's morning prayer devotional brings powerful reassurance from Deuteronomy 31:8 that transforms how we face life's challenges.

The central promise—"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you"—reminds us that God isn't merely watching our lives unfold but actively preparing our path ahead of time. Like the Israelites who were guided through the wilderness with a cloud by day and fire by night, we too have divine protection and direction available to us. Nothing we encounter catches God by surprise; He's already considered every situation we might face.

Throughout this prayer session, we explore what this means practically for our health challenges, financial concerns, job searches, and daily protection. The knowledge that God goes before us doesn't eliminate our responsibilities, but it does lift the ultimate burden of outcomes from our shoulders. When we understand that God is already in our tomorrow, fear and discouragement lose their power.

This devotional offers a powerful antidote to anxiety and uncertainty. God never puts more on us than we can bear, and every trial has an appointed end. No matter what you're facing today, you can move forward with confidence knowing you're following a divine blueprint prepared specifically for you.

Ready to experience the peace that comes from knowing you never walk alone? Listen now, and discover how the God who goes before you transforms your perspective on everything you face today.

Welcome and Devotional Introduction

Speaker 1

Good morning, people of God. Welcome to morning prayer. We're thanking the Lord for July 11th 2025. Thanking the Lord for bringing us down through a work week. Today is Friday and our devotional thought today it is coming from Deuteronomy, the 31st chapter, in the 8th verse the Lord himself goes before you and will be with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid, do not get discouraged. Do not be afraid, do not get discouraged. That's Deuteronomy, the 31st chapter and the 8th verse. The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged. Amen, and we're going to take this before the Lord.

Speaker 1

Hallelujah, hallelujah, oh God, we give you the fruits of our lips this morning and we give you all of the praise. Hallelujah, we acknowledge you here. We acknowledge you here, Hallelujah, we acknowledge you here, hallelujah, we acknowledge you here. Hallelujah, holy Spirit, have your way, lord, have your way, have your way today, in the name of Jesus, oh God, we thank you, lord. We thank you, god, for how you've kept us and how you continue to keep. Oh God, we thank you for waking up in our right minds, god oh Lord. It could have been another way, god, but Lord, you allowed us to wake up, lord, in the faculties of our mind. God oh Lord, you allowed us to wake up, god, with the activity of our limbs. Father, god, we thank you, god, we thank you. It could have been another way, god, but God, we thank you. We thank you, lord, and we appreciate another day. We appreciate another day, lord, oh God. We know that that is not promised and that has not happened for everyone, but, god, we thank you that you allowed it for us, god, and we give you praise and we don't take it for granted. Lord, oh God, we thank you, we thank you, god.

God Going Before His People

Speaker 1

I'm asking, lord, that you'll touch, oh God, that you'll wash us in the name of Jesus, oh God, the blood of Jesus wash us and cleanse us. In the name of Jesus, cleanse us from all unrighteousness, cleanse us from all sin and iniquity. In the name of Jesus, oh God, I thank you today. I thank you, god, that, though our sins be as crimson, oh God, when you wash us, you make it white as snow. Oh God, we thank you today. We thank you for your grace and your mercy over our lives. Lord, thank you that grace, oh God, has been extended to us. Thank you, god, that your mercy, oh God, extends to us, god, even all the way from Calvary's cross, oh God, we thank you, lord. And God, I ask this morning that you'll help us, father. Help us to remember, lord, that you go before us. God, oh God, I thank you, lord. I thank you, lord, that there is nothing that we go through, lord, that you have not already considered. God. There's nothing that we can do, god, that you have not already considered. There is no path that we can walk, god, that you have not already measured. Oh God, help us, lord, to remember, god, that you go before us, lord, even as you went before the people of Israel.

Speaker 1

O God, o God, in your word, it said that when they walked through the wilderness, that you provided a cloud by day and fire by night, lord, and fire by night, lord, oh God, we thank you that the cloud, god, that it covered them, that the cloud kept the sun from scorching them, that the cloud, oh God, kept them, oh God, from having to deal with the elements out in the wilderness. Oh God, I thank you, lord, that the cloud gave them direction, lord, they moved with the cloud, god, oh God, I thank you, god, that the fire by night, god, it lit their path. God, I thank you that the fire by night, lord, rested in the camp and warmed them. Oh God, I thank you that the fire by night, lord, was a resource to the people. And God, you are our resource. Oh God, you are our resource, you're our way out of no way.

Speaker 1

Oh God, you're a rock in a hard place. Oh God, you're a balm in Gilead. And, god, we thank you today. We thank you, god, that you go before us. Lord, your word declares that you'll never put more on us Than we can bear. Oh God, I thank you Lord, oh God, we go through hard times and difficult situations, but, god, I thank you, lord, for the encouragement to know, to know that you have already given us the vote of confidence, even before we started going through. Oh God, you'll never put more on us than we can bear. Oh God, though it be hard, we can bear it. Oh God, though it may hurt, we can bear it. It Though it may seem like we're going under, it won't overtake us, because you'll never put more on us than we can bear, oh God.

Speaker 1

I'm asking, lord, that you'll encourage the hearts of your people. Oh God, some have been going through for a long time. Oh God, some have been going through over and over again. Oh God, some feel like they just need rest. Oh God, from all of the situations. But, god, I pray today. I pray Lord, that their hearts be encouraged. I pray, lord, that their hearts be encouraged. I pray, lord, that their hearts be encouraged. I pray, lord, that their hearts be encouraged, god, that you won't put more on them than they can bear. Oh God, and that you go before them in all of their trials and all of their difficulties. Oh God, I thank you, lord.

Speaker 1

God, we're asking that, as you go before us, god, that Father, you would light the way, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, we don't want to go our own path, god, oh God, we don't want to go our own path. God, oh God. We don't want to do what we think we should do. What, oh God? We don't want to do what's popular to do, but, god, we want to do what you want us to do.

Speaker 1

In the name of Jesus, light the way. Father, in the name of Jesus, direct the path of your people. In the name of Jesus, oh God, we don't want to veer from your path. God, there's safety in your path. God, there is purpose in your path, god. Help us, lord, to find your path and to stay on it.

Amen.

As he goes before us, honoring the Lord, pastor Mark Bayman Jr and the Healing Word family, we're asking that you'll continue to pray for us and pray for the ministry Amen. We want to be all that God has called us to be and we will continue to pray for you. Today is Friday, so we will not be back until Monday. So we will be here on Monday if the Lord is willing.
