Prayer for Unity in the Body
Speaker 1Good morning and welcome to Morning Prayer. Today is September 2nd 2025, and we are graced to see another day, and we are looking at Romans, the 12th chapter, the 4th verse. After the fourth verse, let's look at that scripture Romans 12 and 4. Sorry, I just lost my place with that one. Okay, so Romans 12 and 4, romans 12 and 4, our to all the others. So that's actually Romans 12, verses 4 and 5, amen. That we're looking at for today. Amen, and our prayer time. Today, we're going to spend some time talking about or asking the Lord to unite us as a body, unite us as a body and as the body, amen. And so we're going to go ahead and move into prayer.
Speaker 1Hallelujah, father, I love you. Hallelujah, I exalt your name, hallelujah, Hallelujah, lord, we set you in the place of being first this morning. Hallelujah, and we give you the first fruits of our lips. God, we praise your name. Hallelujah, we give you all of the glory. Hallelujah, oh God. We call you our rock. Hallelujah, we call you the stability of our lives. Hallelujah, we call you our fortress. You shelter us, god, in the time of storm. God, I praise you. God, I praise you. We praise your name, your name, hallelujah, oh God, we thank you, thank you for September 2nd, god. We thank you, god, because you have, hallelujah, great things in store for us, lord, even today. God, I pray, lord, I pray that this time of prayer will be anointed. Oh God, I pray that this time of prayer, hallelujah, will be led by Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus, oh God, we thank you and praise you. God, we ask this morning, hallelujah, that you will look upon us as the body of Christ.
Speaker 1Oh God, I pray, I pray that you'll touch your body in the name of Jesus. I pray, Lord, that you'll touch us to work and to function as one. Lord, in the name of Jesus, oh God, I thank you, lord, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you, lord, I thank you for how you have made the natural body. Every piece of the natural body needs the other pieces, every piece of the natural body. Hallelujah, does its best work when all the other pieces are healthy.
Speaker 1Oh God, I pray this morning, lord, that you'll touch the body of Christ. Lord, oh God, give us to work together as a unit. Father, oh Lord, give us. Father, unity, lord, in the name of Jesus. Father, unity, lord, in the name of Jesus, oh God, give not one part of the body to consider itself to be better than the others, lord, oh God. But we thank you for the different gifts, we thank you for all that you have given us, lord, and blessed us with. To minister, oh God. We thank you for every gift, lord, none being greater, none being smaller than the other.
Praying for Leaders and Churches
Speaker 1Oh God, I pray, I pray that you'll help us, father, oh Lord, to not only hallelujah, think of ourselves more highly than we ought. Oh God, help us to not do that. But, god, we also are asking, lord, that you'll help us to not only see the giftings and the callings within our brothers and our sisters, but, god, I pray that you'll give us to push each other forward. In the name of Jesus, oh God, I pray, I pray, lord, that we'll become wrapped up in each other becoming successful. Oh God, I pray that we'll be wrapped up, lord, in wanting to see each other do well. In the name of Jesus, oh God, we bind every spirit, hallelujah, that comes against the body of Christ being unified in the name of Jesus. Oh Lord, we bind, hallelujah, that spirit of jealousy. In the name of Jesus, oh God, I pray, lord, hallelujah, that you'll run that spirit out of the body. In the name of Jesus, oh God, I pray that you'll give each of us to be secure in the gifts that you have given us. Lord, in the name of Jesus, oh God, and give us to be good stewards over the gifts that you've given us. Father, in the name of Jesus, lord, I pray. I pray, lord, that you'll allow the body, Lord, oh God, to push each other forward and to encourage one another. Lord, oh God. When one of us does well, all of us does well, oh God, hallelujah. When one of us goes up, we all go up, lord. When one of us falls, lord, it's a fall for all of us. Father, oh God, help us this morning.
Speaker 1Oh God, we pray for every church. Oh God, we pray, in the name of Jesus, that you'll have your way in every church. Oh God, have your way in every leader. In the name of Jesus, have your way in every pastor. Father, in the name of Jesus, oh God, we bind scandals.
Speaker 1God, in the name of Jesus, oh God, we bind wickedals. God, in the name of Jesus, oh God, we bind wickedness. Lord, in the name of Jesus, oh God, we bind turmoil. God in the name of Jesus, oh God, we bind pride and selfishness in the name of Jesus, lord, we bind greed. In the name of Jesus, oh God. We bind every spirit, lord, every spirit, even a lascivious spirit, god, oh God, even hallelujah, oh God. Spirits of fornication and adultery, spirits of addiction, lord, we bind those spirits in the name of Jesus, oh God, and we ask that you not allow those things to be named among us. In the name of Jesus, oh God, I pray.
Intercession for Family Salvation
Speaker 1I pray that where any individual, where any leader, lord, has gone out of your will, have gone off the path of righteousness, oh God, I pray, lord, that you'll call them out, lord, even as you did for David, lord, god, he was a man after your own heart and you loved him dearly, lord. But, lord, you loved him so much, god, that you didn't allow him to just go off in error and to continue to live in sin. But, god, hallelujah, you sent Nathan Lord to address the issue, lord, you sent Nathan Lord to get him back on the right path. Oh God, I pray, I pray, lord, that you'll do so in the body of Christ. I pray, lord hallelujah, that you'll call us out of everything that is not like you. In the name of Jesus, I pray, god, hallelujah, for a spirit of repentance, lord, oh God, to hit those, oh God, that are gone out of the way. In the name of Jesus, oh God, and I pray, I pray, lord, that that spirit of repentance, oh God, will bring them back, oh God, to the path that you desire them to be on.
Speaker 1In the name of Jesus, oh God, we don't glory Lord in the fall of these great leaders. Oh God, we don't glory Lord in the fall, oh God, of others, oh God, that are in the mainstream. But, god, we pray, lord, that you'll help them to get it right. Lord, before you expose them openly, god, oh God, we pray that you'll give them to get it right, god, oh God, and to get themselves back in order. Lord, oh God, somebody's watching them, lord, oh God. Somebody's faith, lord, is weak and they can't handle seeing that individual fall. Oh God, I pray, I pray, god, that you'll do it today, that you'll get us back in order, that you'll get us back in line.
Speaker 1In the name of Jesus, oh God, I thank you, I thank you, god, you've given us a great responsibility to carry your name, oh God, to carry your gospel, oh God. Help us, lord, to carry it with fear and trembling. In the name of Jesus, help us to carry it, lord, not wanting to taint your name. In the name of Jesus, oh God. Unity in the body, unity in the body. We pray for each other, god. We pray for each other, lord, in the name of Jesus, oh God. I pray, lord, that churches would thrive, lord. I pray, lord. By thriving that I mean that the house would be full. In the name of Jesus, I pray that your gospel go forth as never before.
Speaker 1God, in the name of Jesus, in power and authority. Oh God, oh Lord, save Lord, oh God, save in your house. God, oh God, save, oh God. And we're asking that you'll even save our loved ones. In the name of Jesus, oh God, I pray that you'll save our brothers. I pray that you'll save our sisters. I pray that you'll save our mothers and our fathers. Oh God, save our cousins, lord, our aunts and our uncles, our grandparents, oh God, oh God, I pray that you'll save to the utmost. Oh God, save mothers and fathers, god, oh God, save the children. God, in the name of Jesus, oh God, save in our families.
Speaker 1God Save, oh God, save that one that is contrary God, oh God, save that one that is contrary God. Oh God, save that one that can't even see themselves in the house of God. Oh Lord, save that one. In the name of Jesus, I thank you, god, I thank you, lord, that you still hold the heart of man in your hand. Father, we pray that you'll work on the hearts of our loved ones, lord, in the name of Jesus.
Speaker 1Oh God, lord, you do the convincing. Oh Lord, you do it. God, oh God, you call them in Father. In the name of Jesus, oh God, we thank you. Oh God, you can do it. Lord, oh God, if you could save Saul and turn him into Paul. Oh God, you can save our loved ones. Oh God, you can save our loved ones If you could save someone that persecuted other Christians. God, oh God, you can save our loved ones. Oh God, we ask that you'll do it in the name of Jesus, oh God, I pray, lord, I pray God, that you'll give our nation to return to you, lord, to return to you.
Speaker 1Lord, in the name of Jesus, give us to be a God-fearing nation. Oh God, give us to be a nation that values going to church, god, that values the things of God. In the name of Jesus, lord, touch our leaders, Lord, in the name of Jesus, our leaders in government, lord, our leaders that sit in authority of the courts. God, oh God, touch them. God In the name of Jesus, oh God, give our country, lord, oh God, to become God-fearing, not just within the Constitution, not just within what we say in history. God, but God, give our actions to be God-fearing. In the name of Jesus, oh God, we thank and praise you today. Oh God, we thank and praise you today, oh God, I pray for your people. God, oh God.
Protection for Our Children
Speaker 1There are things going on, lord and Lord. There are those that are crying out saying, lord, I need you, oh God. They're crying out saying, lord, I'm not going to make it through this without you. God, oh God, I pray that you'll attend to their need. In the name of Jesus, oh God, I pray, lord, I pray that you'll touch today, lord, and send your healing down. In the name of Jesus, oh God, I pray that you'll touch Dr Suttles this morning. In the name of Jesus, lord, touch the issue, god. Touch the issue, god, in the name of Jesus, touch mightily, god, oh God, I pray that you'll touch Lord. I pray that you'll touch elder settles this morning. Oh God, be a strength, lord, even in his body.
Speaker 1In the name of Jesus, lord, your healing virtues, lord, pour out over your people. In the name of Jesus, your healing virtues, poor God. In the name of Jesus, oh God, I thank you, lord. I thank you God, oh God, I thank you for this being the season of Elo. God, I thank you, god, hallelujah, that on the Hebrew calendar, God, that this is the season of Elo.
Speaker 1God, I thank you that in this season, lord, oh God, the king went out into the field to meet with the people. Oh God, and we thank you today, god, that you're out in the field, lord, you're giving us access to you as never before. God, you're out in the field, oh God, you're close to us, god, where we could come to you, god, and ask our issues, god, and you'll grant them. God, oh God. We thank you, lord, that you'll turn our situations around. God, in the name of Jesus, oh God, oh God. That impossible thing, lord, that thing that seems impossible, God. Turn it around, father. Oh God, things that we've been asking for, waiting for, looking for for years, oh God. I thank you, lord, that we see them manifesting. I thank you, god, that we see them manifesting. I thank you, god, that we see favor in the situation, oh God, I thank you, lord, because you're able. Lord, I'm asking Father, oh God, that as our children go out today, oh God, that you'll protect them in the name of Jesus. Oh God, protect them, lord, in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus, we bind bullies. God, in the name of Jesus, oh God, keep our children. Oh God, keep our grandchildren. Oh God, keep our God.
Speaker 1Children, oh God, keep our children, oh God, the children that we God, keep our children, oh God, the children that we love God, keep them. In the name of Jesus, oh God. We thank you, lord, because you love children. Oh God, your heart, oh God, oh Lord, jesus, hallelujah sat with the children, hallelujah, and he loved their innocence, hallelujah, and he loved their innocence and he loved their awe and their wonder about life.
Speaker 1Lord, I pray, god, that you'll protect the children in the name of jesus, oh god, every state, every town, every city, every school district, oh god, every school. I pray that you'll put your hands of protection around them in the name of Jesus, oh God, I pray, lord, that you'll not only do it for the United States, god, but, lord, that you'll touch all around the world. Oh, these are the next leaders. Oh God, these are the next ones, they're the next ones up, god, I pray that you'll touch them, god. They are our investment, they are our future, god.
Speaker 1I pray, lord, hallelujah, that you'll call our children, that you'll call them as you said you would In your word. Lord, oh God, sons and daughters would prophesy word Lord, oh God, sons and daughters would prophesy. Oh God, hallelujah. Young men, hallelujah, would see visions, hallelujah, oh God, hallelujah. I pray that you'll do it. Pour out your spirit on our children.
Romans 12: Different on Purpose
Speaker 1In the name of Jesus, god, I thank you for keeping them from drugs, oh God, those that have gotten into drugs, lord, those that are addicted. I thank you for bringing them off, God, for delivering them, god, oh God, even from vaping God, oh God. Deliver them, lord, in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus, be a habit breaker, god. Be a habit breaker. In the name of Jesus, oh God.
Speaker 1We thank you today. We thank you, god, that there is no issue, lord, that is too big for you, god, and we thank you, god, because there's no issue that is too small for you. But, god, you care about us, god, lord, you care about us, lord, and we thank you for it. I pray, god. I pray that, as this day progresses, lord, lord, that you'll give your people insight, lord, and discernment. Give us discernment, give us wisdom in how to deal with today. In the name of Jesus, I pray God, that you'll give us a praying spirit. Lord, I pray, lord, that when we need you, god, when we have a situation that comes up and we don't know what to do, oh God, that we'll call on you and that we'll hear you. Oh God, we'll call on you, oh God, and you'll give us what to do. Oh God, even in the moment, god, in the name of Jesus, god, I thank you. I thank you, lord, not only for being our God, but for being our friend. Lord, I thank you, god. I thank you, lord, for all that you are and for all of your glory and Father. We ask all of these things in Jesus's mighty name. Thank God and amen, hallelujah. Thank God and amen, hallelujah. We thank the Lord today. We thank the Lord today, Hallelujah, for his hand that is upon us and his heart that is toward us. Amen. We thank God today for how good he is. All right, we're moving into a time of devotional. We are moving into our devotional time. Hallelujah, hallelujah.
Speaker 1Our scripture this morning was Romans 12, 4 and 5. For just as each of us has one body with many members and these members do not have all the same function. So, in Christ, though, many form one body and each member belongs to all the others. Amen. We belong to one another. Our g Amen. We belong to one another. Our giftings, they belong to one another, they complement each other, amen.
Speaker 1And so a description of our devotional is number one. The name of our devotional is different on purpose. We are different on purpose. God has made us different on purpose. We are different on purpose. God has made us different on purpose. We're not all the same. We don't all have the same gift and God has done this marvelous and miraculous thing on purpose.
Speaker 1We know that sometimes, when we have differences, there might be a budding of heads, a clashing. Sometimes we don't understand and we don't understand how others are thinking and the moves that they're making, because they're just different. They don't think like us. But God has done that on purpose. He has done that on purpose that iron may sharpen iron, hallelujah. He has done that on purpose so that each of us would have different people, different ones that are ministry, that appeal to us, amen.
Speaker 1So whereas I can speak to one person and they don't desire to be saved you know, I just they don't relate to me they could talk to another member of the body of Christ and come through, because he has made us different on purpose, amen. And so our description reads you don't have to be like anyone else to matter. Romans 12 and 4 reminds us that we are all part of one body, but each of us has a different role to play. Your uniqueness isn't a mistake. It's your mission. Amen, your uniqueness, the you that God has made you, isn't a mistake. It is your mission. It is your mission. All right, All right.
