Have you ever felt overwhelmed by circumstances that seem beyond your control? Today's powerful prayer session centers on a transformative truth from Nehemiah 9:6 - God is not just the creator of all things, but actively sustains everything He has made, including you and your situation.

This intimate morning prayer journey guides listeners through recognizing God's supreme authority over creation and applying that truth to life's most pressing challenges. We explore how the God who fashioned galaxies and oceans can certainly handle whatever you're facing today. From depression and spiritual warfare to workplace concerns and family protection, nothing falls outside His sustaining power.

One of the most striking insights shared is the concept of becoming "atmosphere shifters." Rather than being victims of negative environments, believers carry God's presence that can transform chaos into peace. This isn't about human ability but about allowing divine power to flow through us into every situation we encounter.

Throughout the prayer, a powerful refrain emerges: "God makes a way out of no way." For those facing seemingly impossible circumstances - whether financial strain, relationship difficulties, or emotional battles - this reminder of God's way-making nature offers genuine hope rooted in His character rather than temporary positive thinking.

The prayer also addresses practical concerns including employment challenges, business success, and especially protection for children in an increasingly dangerous world. Each petition is grounded in the foundational understanding that the Creator remains intimately involved with His creation.

Welcome to Morning Prayer

Speaker 1

Good morning, welcome to Morning Prayer. We're thanking the Lord for September 4th. September 4th, 2025. I almost said October. I've been reading some things about October, forgive me. This morning Today is September 4th 2025. Number 4, 2025.

God as Maker and Sustainer

Speaker 1

Our scripture for this morning is coming from the book of Nehemiah. Nehemiah, the ninth chapter and the sixth verse in the English Standard Version of the Bible reads you are the Lord, you alone, you have made heaven, the heaven of heaven with all their hosts, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them, and you preserve all of them, and the host of heaven worships you, amen, amen. And so this morning we are praying, and we are just in a point of reflection, that God is the maker and the sustainer of all. Amen, father, we love you, god. Hallelujah, hallelujah. We thank you, god. We thank you. We thank you, hallelujah. We proclaim you King Hallelujah. We proclaim you King, hallelujah, god. We thank you, hallelujah, great God, great God. We bless your name, great God, we honor your name. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, great God, we honor your name. Oh God, we thank you today. Thank you, lord, hallelujah, thank you, god that you, oh Lord, are the maker and the sustainer of all things. We thank you, father, hallelujah, because, though we make plans, lord, and though we put things together, father, oh God, it is in your strength, oh God, it is in your strength, oh God. It is in your strength, god, that we're able, lord, to even be able to put those things together.

Speaker 1

God, I'm asking this morning, lord, that you'll help us. Oh God, that you'll usher us into your presence. Father, in the name of Jesus, usher us into your presence, father. In the name of Jesus, holy Spirit, I pray that you'll lead this time of prayer in the name of Jesus, oh God, oh Lord, as we reflect, oh God, on your greatness, oh God, we realize that our righteousness is as a filthy rag. God, we pray, lord, that you'll create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us. Father, in the name of Jesus, lord, wash us in your blood, purge us, oh God, from every way that is not like you. In the name of Jesus, o God, restore us and renew us. Lord, in the name of Jesus, oh God, hallelujah, forgive us our sins and our iniquities. Oh God, restore today. In the name of Jesus, oh God, restore God.

Speaker 1

In the name of Jesus, oh Lord, someone is crying out for strength this morning. Oh Lord, someone is in need of a touch this morning. God, I pray that you'll restore, in the name of Jesus, oh God, restore the joy of our salvation. In the name of Jesus, oh God, we come to you, god, and we ask, lord, that not only will you restore our joy, but, god, that you'll sustain us in the name of Jesus, oh God, even spiritually, god, sustain us, god, oh Lord, help us, lord, oh God, not to be up and down and sideways, god, but, lord, we pray that you'll give us, lord, hallelujah, a soundness even in our seeking you, god, oh God, a stability, god, oh Father, even in our emotions, oh God, I pray this morning that you'll be the sustainer in the name of Jesus. Still be the sustainer In the name of Jesus, oh God.

Speaker 1

I ask Lord, even now, god, oh Lord, that shall elevate our minds this morning. Oh God, give us to think of how great you are, lord, oh God, in the face of our trials, in the face of our disappointments, in the face of setbacks. Oh God, give us now, lord, oh God, to reflect on your greatness. God, oh God, give us to reflect that you are the maker, that you are the maker, oh God, we thank you that the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, and they that dwell therein. God, we thank you.

Breaking Free from Depression

Speaker 1

Lord, you've made the heavens and the earth, oh God, oh Lord, you've made everything that is on the earth, everything that is in the earth, oh God, the things that we look at and marvel in nature, god, oh God, you have made those things. Oh God, you are the maker, oh God, help us, lord, help us, lord, oh God, to look at you, god, in your creative being. Oh God, help us to look to you, god, in your creative being. Oh God, realizing, lord, oh God, that if you made the galaxies, god, oh God, you're able to handle our situations. Oh God, you're able to handle our situations, oh God. If you've made the great sea, oh God, you are able to handle our situations. Oh God, you're just that magnificent, oh God, you're just that strong, oh God.

Speaker 1

We thank you today, lord, oh God, for creating, oh God, even opportunities for us, oh God, to walk into. Today, lord, in the name of Jesus, oh God, I thank you, I thank you that someone's coming out of depression today, in the name of Jesus, oh, we declare freedom, oh God, over that heavy spirit. God, through the authority of Christ, in the name of Jesus, oh, the blood of Jesus prevail. Oh God, the blood of Jesus fill every space that the enemy has tried to take over. In the name of Jesus, oh, hallelujah, we will not surrender to depression, we will not surrender to oppression, but, god, we use the power and the authority that you've given to us, god oh Lord, and we tell the enemy this morning that he cannot trespass.

Speaker 1

Oh, in the name of Jesus, oh God, we ask this morning, lord oh God, for power against our adversary. In the name of Jesus, oh, father, I thank you now, God. I thank you now, god oh Lord, for the joy of the Lord being our strength today, oh God, we put on joy. Oh God, we give you a thank you. Oh God, we give you a praise.

Speaker 1

Oh God, we recall to our minds all that you have done. Oh, we recall to our minds that you are the maker and the sustainer of all things. We recall it to our minds. Therefore, we have hope, god. We have hope, god. We have hope, lord, not in man, oh God. We have hope, god, not in government. Lord, oh God. We have hope beyond our paycheck. God, oh God. We have hope in you, god. We have hope in the solid rock.

Finding Peace in Chaos

Speaker 1

Oh God, the sustainer and the maker, oh God, we pray this morning hallelujah, that shall bring us out, lord, bring us out, god, of these cycles. God, that we continue, lord, to go through. Oh God, the enemy wants us to wander and to have a wilderness experience. God, but, god, we thank you that you are the God that leads the way out of the wilderness. Oh God, lead us out of the wilderness. God in the name of Jesus. Oh God, lead us out of wandering.

Speaker 1

God in the name of Jesus, god, we thank you for making a way, god, making a way for us. God in the name of Jesus, oh God, we're asking this morning, lord, oh God, that you'll bring us through. God In the name of Jesus, oh God, I pray, I pray, lord, that you'll awaken a fight in us. God, I pray that you'll awaken God, oh God, the spiritual warrior in us.

Speaker 1

God In the name of Jesus, oh God, give us to not complacently allow the enemy to maintain his space, oh God, the space that he has taken over, oh God, not his space. God, oh God. Whom the sun sets free is free indeed, oh God. We worship your name, Lord, oh God. We worship you, god, even with the heavenly host. We give you praise, god, and we give you glory. We give you honor, god, you are the Lord, our banner, oh God. We thank you. Jesus, you are the Lord, our banner. God, oh Father, when the enemy comes in like a flood, you lift up a standard, you lift up a banner against the enemy. Oh, in the name of Jesus, god, we thank you Lord, we thank you God.

Speaker 1

I pray this morning, father, oh God, that you'll give your people, lord, to continue pressing and pushing. God in the name of Jesus, oh God. I thank you, lord, we thank you, god, that, though we go through many things, oh God, and many seasons within life, within our walk with you, oh God, and many seasons within life, within our walk with you, oh God, you make a way out. Of no way. God, oh God, you sustain us, even in the hard place, god, oh Father, when it looks like we're going under, lord, oh God, you give us the strength to come out.

Speaker 1

God and Father, we thank you today, lord, for being with us, god. We thank you, God, that we don't have to go it alone, god, but that you're with us every step of the way. Oh God, you're with us in every breath that we take. Oh God, you are with us, god, and we thank you, lord, that this fight, oh God, is not a fight that we fight alone, god, but we fight with you, god, oh God, we fight in you, god.
