Have you ever felt stranded in a spiritual wilderness, wondering where your next provision would come from? Today's powerful morning prayer session dives deep into Nehemiah 9:15, where we discover the extraordinary ways God provides in barren seasons.

Throughout this intimate time of worship and intercession, we explore the miraculous provision of God who supplied bread from heaven and water from a rock for the Israelites. This wasn't just ancient history – it's a living promise for today. Just as God worked daily miracles for His people in the desert, He continues to provide exactly what we need for each day's journey. The prayer reminds us that God doesn't always give everything at once, but He always gives enough for today.

We spend time meditating on God's protection against enemies, declaring powerful truths about living under divine covering. When adversaries plot against us, God prepares a table before us in their presence. He navigates us safely around opposition like a pillar of cloud by day and fire by night. The prayer includes powerful declarations binding the enemy and claiming the blood of Jesus as our complete protection from every side – above, below, beside, before, and behind.

The heart of today's message centers on trusting God's faithfulness when everything around us feels uncertain. His grace proves sufficient for every challenge. His provision appears in unexpected places. His presence never leaves, even in the most barren landscapes of our lives. Whether you're facing financial uncertainty, emotional drought, or spiritual attack, this prayer session offers powerful reminders that God remains Provider, Protector, and Promise-keeper.

Morning Prayer Introduction

Speaker 1

Good morning, welcome to Morning Prayer. Today is September 5th, 2025. We're looking at the book of Nehemiah again for today's scripture. The Lord has just been leading me into just studying Nehemiah and it's just a great place for us to begin this morning. So Nehemiah 9 and 15 in the English Standard Version of the Bible reads you gave them bread from heaven for their hunger and brought water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and you told them to go in to possess the land that you had sworn to give them. Amen. You gave them bread from heaven for their hunger and brought water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and you told them to go in to possess the land that you had sworn to give them. Amen, and the word of the Lord is blessed.

Speaker 1

Hallelujah, and we're going to go into a time of prayer. Father, we thank you, hallelujah, hallelujah. Father, we thank you. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. We reverence your name and respect you, god. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah. We reverence your name and respect your God.

Speaker 1

Hallelujah, you are the God of all things. You are God of the universe. You are God, hallelujah, you're God all by yourself. You're sovereign. Hallelujah, you're holy, you're righteous. Oh God, hallelujah, you're everything that we need. You're everything that we need you to be. Hallelujah, we bless your name. Hallelujah, we worship you. We worship you in spirit and in truth. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, oh. Be magnified, lord, holy Spirit, be magnified here, in the name of Jesus, oh God, we come to you, lord, acknowledging you for who you are, for who we know you to be. Oh God, we come before you having found no fault in you. God, oh Lord, we thank you because you are perfect in all of your ways. You are perfect in all of your ways. You are perfect in all of your ways.

Speaker 1

Oh hallelujah, holy Spirit, we thank you for inhabiting this time of prayer. We thank you, holy Spirit, for giving us what to say. We thank you for the words of intercession. Holy Spirit, now have your way. Holy Spirit, now arrest us in your presence. In the name of Jesus, holy Spirit, I pray that you'll come in as never before today.

Speaker 1

In the name of Jesus, oh, holy Spirit, I pray that you'll give the Lord on the word of God, even to meditate upon prayer. In the name of Jesus, oh God, we ask you for these things, lord, oh God, because you said that we could ask you for anything, oh God, and if we ask anything in your name, that you would do it for us. And so, god, we thank you, lord, for doing it for us, for settling our minds in the name of Jesus, for not allowing anxiety to run rampant in our minds this morning. We give you thanks, we give you praise, hallelujah. Oh God, I thank you. I thank you, lord, because you showed us, god, that you give daily to us. Lord, you extend daily mercy, lord. Oh God, you extend mercy to us every day.

Speaker 1

Oh God, we thank you for your unmerited favor. Oh God, the favor that we don't deserve. Oh God, we thank you that you're merciful just because you're good. We thank you that you're good because you're good. We thank you that you're good because you're merciful. Oh God, we thank you for who you are and how you love us, so that you don't condemn us to death for what we've done. But, god, we thank you that you purchased our salvation. We thank you, god, hallelujah, that the work of redemption is finished.

Speaker 1

And God, that you did it for us on the cross. Oh God, we thank you, lord. You didn't have to do it, god. You didn't have to save us your life, but you chose to. Oh God, you chose to do it, lord, just for me, oh God, just for this person that's on the line, oh God, you chose to do it, lord, for that person that will listen to the playback. God, oh God, you did it just for us, god, and we thank you, lord, oh God, for did it just for us, god, and we thank you, lord, oh God, for thinking us that important. We thank you, lord, for loving us so greatly. Oh God, that you would go through such great lengths, lord, to reconcile us to you, god, to allow us relationship with you where sin once separated us.

Speaker 1

Oh God, I pray. I pray this morning, that your people will walk, lord, in hallelujah, the provision that you've made for us. Lord, in the name of Jesus, oh God, give us to walk, lord, oh God, in salvation. Give us to walk, lord, hallelujah, in your merciful favor. God, in the name of Jesus, give us to walk, lord, oh God, in the power that you have allotted for us to have. God, oh Lord, give us how to walk in it.

Praise and Gratitude for Salvation

Speaker 1

God, in the name of Jesus, oh God, our adversary is busy, oh, trying to get us to lay down our birthright. Oh God, but, lord, we thank you because we have been born again in your spirit, god. We thank you, god, hallelujah, that you have given us, lord, oh God, the privileges, lord, of your child. You've given us privileges, god, of your friend, lord, oh God. You've given us privilege, god, and we ask, lord, that you'll give us to walk in the privilege, lord, that you have afforded us through your blood. In the name of Jesus, oh God, we thank you.

Speaker 1

We thank you that, god, you showed us in your word that you are a great provider, oh God, nehemiah 9 and 15 reminds the people of God that you gave Lord bread from heaven daily. God, you worked a miracle for the Israelites every day, every morning. They opened their eyes. God, lord, you provided food for them in the wilderness. You provided food for them in a barren land, oh God, you provided food for them that they did not have to hunt, oh God, oh God, they didn't have to cook. Oh God, lord, you provided it for them every morning.

Speaker 1

God, oh, you're so merciful and so kind, oh God. We thank you, oh God, that the very same you do for us, lord, lord, you supply what we need for each day. Oh God, you supply what we need for each moment. God, oh God. You told us, lord, in your word in Matthew, to take no thought, o God, for what we shall eat or what we shall drink. O God, you told us that you would supply those things to us, and God, we thank you. We thank you, lord, that you're yet the God that sends manna down from heaven, that sends bread from heaven to provide for your children. Oh God, we thank you that you're yet God.

Speaker 1

Oh Lord, the word says you allowed water to come from a rock for the people. Oh God, you allowed and worked a miracle, god, in the midst of a wilderness, in the midst of a dry place. Oh God, you called water out of a rock, lord, and worked miracles. Lord, oh God, we thank you. We thank you, lord, and we ask this morning, lord, that you'll send us your water, oh God, the water of Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus.

Speaker 1

Quench our dry souls In the name of Jesus. Satisfy our souls in the name of Jesus. Oh, teach us to be satisfied with you, not complacent, god, but satisfied Lord, oh God, satisfied such that we don't search the world for the things that we can find in you. Oh God, satisfy our souls and give our feet to be still in your presence. God, in the name of Jesus, oh God, I pray, I pray that you'll help us. Lord, oh God, with the lust of the eyes.

Speaker 1

God, oh Lord, we're constantly looking at what we don't have, saying that we need to have it. God, oh God, we're constantly, lord, oh God, looking at what others have and believing that we need it to be happy. Oh God, I pray, I pray. Whatever our lot is, whatever you have allowed in our lives, oh God, give us to say it is well. Oh God, till you want to bless us, till you want to move us, oh God, give us to say it is well.

Speaker 1

Oh, we thank you, god, because you provide, lord, you provide in the wilderness, oh God, you provide by the brook. Oh God, lord, you provide. Oh God, you provide on the mountaintop. God, you provide when we're in the valley. Oh God, you provide when we're grieving. And God you provide, lord, when we're joyful and triumphant. Oh God, we thank you, lord, we thank you this morning that not a day goes by that you don't provide, not a day goes by that our needs are not met.

Speaker 1

God, oh God, I thank you, lord, we thank you, god, that you give us sufficient grace. Your grace is sufficient for us. Your grace is enough for us to get through each day, oh God, even in the realm of our obstacles. Help us to remember that we walk in the grace of a mighty God. Help us to remember that your grace is enough to meet every challenge. Oh God, your grace is enough to help us to be quiet, oh God, rather than to stir up wrath and discord.

God's Daily Provision in Wilderness

Speaker 1

Oh God, your grace is enough, god, your grace is enough, god, to give us to apologize sincerely when we do something wrong or to offend our brother or our sister. Oh God, your grace is enough to carry us when we feel that we have no strength left, when we feel like, when we feel like hallelujah, that we can't move forward, oh God, when we feel like we're trapped in a rut, god, lord, is enough for us. Your grace sustains us from one season to the next. God, and we thank you, lord, for your long-suffering grace. We thank you, god, for your faithful ways towards us. God, oh Father, we thank, we thank you, we thank you, god, oh God, that the promises of God are still yes and amen. We thank you, god, oh Lord.

Speaker 1

You guided the people of Israel as a pillar cloud by day and as a fire by night. God, lord, you showed them the way. Oh God, you were their compass that led them safely around their enemies. You led them safely around their enemies, god, without them being attacked. God, without them being detected. God, you led that mighty nation around those that were their enemies.

Speaker 1

God, oh God, I thank you that you yet do that for us today, You're still the same God that allows us, hallelujah, to walk and navigate around those that don't like us. Oh God, you give us to be able to shift and navigate against those that don't mean us any good. Oh God, you allow that. God, you cover us, lord, and you encamp and encompass us, god, and give us direction. Oh God, I pray today that you'll give us to not worry about our enemies. But even right now, god, we give them to you.

Speaker 1

Oh God, we call out their names. Oh God, we think about who they are. In this moment, we meditate on who they are, and, god, we thank you on who they are. And, god, we thank you, lord, we thank you, god, because even hallelujah, even if they have plans, oh, we declare that no weapon that is formed against us shall prosper. In the name of Jesus, oh God, we thank you. We thank you that we live and we walk in a power that is greater than us. Oh God, we thank you, oh God, for your great power. God, over our enemies.

Speaker 1

God, in the name of Jesus, I thank you, god, because you're a heart changer, you're a heart fixer. Oh God, you regulate the mind. Oh God, you're able to take that person that hates us and give them to love us. Oh God, you're able to take that person, oh, that can't stand us, God, and cause them to bless us, us, god, and cause them to bless us. Oh God, we thank you because the word of God declares that you prepare for us a table in the presence of our enemies. Oh God, you give us to sit down and feast. Oh God, you give us to sit down and celebrate in the face of our enemies. Oh God, hallelujah. We thank you, lord, oh God, because oftentimes, god, we want to get away from the situation because it's uncomfortable, oh God, but we thank you that there is yet purpose for where we are and who we are and what is happening to us, oh God, even if it's just the need for you, god, to testify in front of our enemies that you are with us, that you are for us, that you've never left us, oh God.

Speaker 1

Even if it's just for that, god, we thank you. Just for that, god, we thank you, oh God. We thank you, oh God, because, lord, you're yet showing yourself to be God. Oh, you're showing them that, despite the plot, despite the plan, despite what they laid up and thought about, despite what they decided to conjure up God, despite what they decided to conjure up God, oh God, that you are for us and not against us. And if God be for us, who can be against us? Oh God, we thank you this morning. Oh God, we thank you, lord, oh, we thank you for power, oh God, your power, your mighty power. We thank you, god, for the truth in your power. God, we thank you, lord, that you light the way, god, oh, we thank you.

Protection from Our Enemies

Speaker 1

Jesus, oh God, even when those try to obscure our vision, when they try to get in front of us so we can't see around them, god, we thank you. We thank you, God, that you yet and still lead us. You're yet that burning fire, you're yet that consuming fire that gives us to see, oh God, what it is that's going on around us. Oh God, I thank you, lord, we thank you, lord, and we cancel the assignment of the enemy In the name of Jesus. We bind the devil now In the name of Jesus. We bind the devil now In the name of Jesus. We bind the devil now In the name of Jesus. We bind the devil now In the name of Jesus.

Speaker 1

Oh God, oh God, we pray that you'll loose here, god, in the name of Jesus, oh God, loose every yoke of oppression. Oh God, loose every band of the wicked. In the mighty name of Jesus, oh God, we command the enemy to let go of his hold over the mind of God's people. In the name of Jesus, in the name of Jesus, we declare now that we walk with a sound mind. We declare now that we take on the mind of Christ. We declare now another store yet Amanda level who? Ya? Oh God, that our thinking is clear, that our thinking is clear, that our minds are clear, that our minds are focused in the name of Jesus.

Speaker 1

God, I thank you for deliverance this morning. Thank you for deliverance, god, holy Spirit, deliver now, oh, holy Spirit, deliver now In the name of Jesus. Oh, we renounce the name of Jesus. We bind it in the name of Jesus. We bind it in the name of Jesus, we bind it, inuldron, we bind every incantation, we bind every watching spirit. In the name of Jesus, oh, we bind it. In the name of Jesus, oh, the blood of Jesus come nigh our enemy. In the name of Jesus, oh God, I thank you.

Speaker 1

Oh God, I thank you, oh God, I thank you, oh God, regardless what is done against us, regardless of what is worked against us, we thank you that you are a God that has all power and that we abide under your wings of safety. Oh God, I'm asking, I'm asking that, as we go into this weekend, that you'll continue to cover and protect your people. I pray that you give them to be watchful. I pray, god, that you'll give them, lord, a discerning spirit. In the name of Jesus, I pray that you'll give them a praying spirit.

Binding the Enemy in Prayer

Speaker 1

In the name of Jesus, I thank you, holy Spirit, for interceding for us with groanings, hallelujah, for interceding for us when we don't even know to pray. Oh God, I thank you because you've got us covered. Oh God, you've got us covered from above, from below, from the sides, from in front of us and from in back of us. Oh God, we are surrounded by you and in your house. Father, your anointing be great for those that are witnessing your anointing. Be great, lord. Your name be magnified here on the earth. In the name of Jesus, I thank you, god. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Thank God and amen. Amen, hallelujah. I thank God that in him we have everything that we need. We don't have to fear, we don't have to be afraid, but he has surrounded us. His presence has surrounded us. Hallelujah, thank God that when we are surrounded in him, when we are covered by his blood, that there is no power that can penetrate the blood of Jesus. There is no power. Hallelujah, and we thank God for it. We thank God for it. So our scripture was this morning Nehemiah 9 and 15. You gave them bread from heaven for their hunger and brought water for them out of the rock for their thirst, and you told them to go in to possess the land that you had sworn to give them. Hallelujah. The scripture stood out for me today because it just speaks to the faithfulness of God and it speaks to the power of God. Amen. Our Instagram description or our description of our devotional amen is bread from heaven and water from a rock. God doesn't always give us everything at once, but he always gives us enough for today, in the wilderness seasons, he is still provider, still present, still faithful. Nehemiah 9 and 15. Amen, he's present in your situation, he provides in your situation and he still shows himself to be faithful. Amen, all right. You can find the entirety of the devotional on Instagram and on Facebook at Healing Word C-O-G-I-C. Amen. We have honored to God and we thank the Lord for Pastor Mark Bayman Jr, the pastor and founder of Healing Word Ministries. We thank the Lord for the Healing Word family and we thank you for you. We thank God for you, for those that are praying with us, for those that are holding us up in prayer. We thank God for you because we do realize that the prayers of the righteous, they avail much. Hallelujah, they avail much. They mean so much. So we thank you for praying for us and with us. Amen, and as we go into this weekend, we will not be here again until Monday morning, so I ask that we keep each other in prayer, that we continue to bombard heaven in our own prayer time. Amen, all right. Well, god bless you. If the Lord is willing, I will see you on Monday. Have a wonderful weekend.
