Healing Prayer
Sacred Beginnings: Starting Your Week with God
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
The stillness of morning provides the perfect backdrop for connecting with God before the demands of the week begin. This prayer session centers on Psalm 34:8-9, inviting listeners to "taste and see that the Lord is good" and find refuge in Him regardless of what challenges lie ahead.
Beginning with heartfelt worship, this prayer journey guides you through spiritual cleansing, surrendering your plans, and finding peace in God's presence. The prayer acknowledges the Monday morning dread many face when confronting workplace challenges or personal struggles, offering the powerful reminder that you never have to face these battles alone.
What distinguishes this prayer experience is its balance between personal renewal and intercessory prayer. After seeking spiritual refreshment, the prayer expands to lift up family members, especially those who have strayed from faith, asking God to draw them back with loving persistence. The prayer also boldly intercedes for government officials and the nation, asking God to instill His fear and wisdom in leadership positions.
Throughout the session, listeners are encouraged to develop an "attitude of gratitude," recognizing God's goodness even in difficult seasons. The prayer beautifully illustrates how persistent prayer transforms anxiety into peace, worry into confidence, and uncertainty into purpose.
Whether you're facing a particularly challenging week or simply seeking to start your Monday with spiritual intention, this prayer experience offers the perfect reset. Join us in discovering how beginning your day with prayer creates a foundation that carries you through whatever the week may bring. Welcome to Morning Prayer
Speaker 1Good morning and welcome to Morning Prayer. Today is September 8th, 2025. It is the start of a work week for many, and we are here this morning to give God our first first. Our scripture for today is Psalm 34,. Psalm 34, verses 8 and 9. In the English Standard Version of the Bible, they oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him. Oh, fear the Lord, you, his saints. For those who fear him have no lack. Amen. And we're going to go before the Lord in prayer this morning.
Speaker 1Hallelujah, lord, we love you and exalt your name. Hallelujah, your name is matchless. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, your name is righteous, your name is mighty, your name is wonderful. Hallelujah, lord, we praise you. We praise you, lord, we give you all of the praise. Hallelujah, hallelujah. All glory belongs to you. All glory belongs to you. All honor belongs to you. Hallelujah, holy Spirit, have your way, have your way in this time of prayer. Have your way, hallelujah, as we rise this morning to give you praise and to give you thanks.
Speaker 1Hallelujah, oh God, we're asking this morning that you'll search our hearts, god.
Speaker 1Search our hearts, lord. Search our hearts for anything that is not like you. Oh God, we surrender our hearts to you, father, we surrender our ways to you, father, hallelujah, we surrender ourselves to you this morning, lord, wash us and clean us with the blood of Jesus. In the name of Jesus, wash away, god, every sin, lord, wash away, lord, hallelujah, hallelujah, every wayward way, oh God, in the name of Jesus, oh, oh God, every thought that is not like you. Wash it, god, in the name of Jesus. Oh, father, we're asking Lord to be created anew today. Oh God, create our hearts. Oh God, create a new heart in us. God, a clean heart, god, in the name of Jesus.
Speaker 1Oh, father, we're asking this morning, hallelujah, that you'll give us a heart, lord, that will please you in ways that will please you in the name of Jesus. Father, we're asking, lord, hallelujah, name of Jesus, father, we're asking, lord, hallelujah, we're asking, father, that you'll help us, lord, that you'll help us, god, to set our affections on you this morning. That you'll help us, lord, hallelujah, to set our affections on the things of God. In the name of Jesus, oh Lord, I pray, I pray, god, that even as we are opening our eyes into another day, even as many are starting a new work week, lord, I pray that you'll give us the right attitude, god, in the name of Jesus. I pray, lord, that you'll give us, lord, the right way of thinking in the name of Jesus, lord, the right way of thinking in the name of Jesus, oh Father, instead of thinking about all that is going wrong, instead, father, of thinking about all the things that challenge us, oh God, help us, lord, to taste and see that you are good. Lord, help us to see your goodness. Oh God, help us to see, god, hallelujah, where you are with us, oh God, and where you are for us In the name of Jesus, oh God. We thank you, lord, for being on our side. We thank you, lord, hallelujah, for having our back. God, we thank you, god, for walking with us.
Speaker 1Father, oh God, we thank you, hallelujah, we thank you today, lord, oh God. We thank you that no challenge is too great for you, lord, oh God. We thank you, lord, that none of our issues are too small for you, oh God, that none of our issues are too small for you, oh God. But, lord, you engage, lord, in our daily troubles, oh God, you engage in our daily struggles and hardships, and you give us strength, god, and you light the way and give direction. And so, god, we thank you today. We thank you, god, hallelujah, hallelujah.
Intercession for Families and Loved Ones
Speaker 1Oh God, give us an attitude of gratitude in the name of Jesus, give us to be truly thankful, give us to be truly thankful, give us to be truly thankful, god, in the name of Jesus. Jesus, oh God, we thank you because this morning didn't have to be as it is. Oh God, you didn't have to allow us entry into another day. But, god, we thank you, and it is of your goodness that we're here, it is of your mercy that we are here. Oh God, we've tasted and seen, lord, that you are good.
Speaker 1Oh God, the very fact that we're on the prayer line this morning, oh God, we're tasting and we're seeing your goodness, oh God, we thank you. Oh God, we give you praise, god, oh Lord, we thank you, oh Lord, we give you praise, lord, oh God, we're asking Father, oh God, that you'll help us, lord, as we work through the day, as we get through the day. Are good In the name of Jesus, in spite of anything that may happen, in spite of anything that may go wrong, anything that we may not like, god, help us to maintain that you are a good God and you are a strong God and you are mighty in battle and you are mighty to save us. Oh God, you're mighty to keep us and we thank you. Hallelujah, oh God, I pray. I pray that, as we move through the day, that you'll allow your angels to encamp round about us and to keep us in all of our ways. In the name of Jesus, oh God, we submit our ways to you, we submit our ways to you, we submit our plans to you, oh God, we submit them and we lift them before you. Today and, god, we're asking, lord, oh God, that you'll take control of our agenda, that you'll take control of our planner today, lord, oh God, direct our paths In the name of Jesus, oh God, direct us, lord, directly into your will. Father, in the name of Jesus, oh God, we're asking this morning, lord, for ordered footsteps. God, in, in the name of Jesus, oh God.
Speaker 1We think, lord, that certain things need to be done today. Oh God, we think, lord, that things must play out a certain way. But, god, you don't just think. You know, god, lord, you know what we need to do, oh God, you know where we need to be, oh God, you have, hallelujah, charted out our lives, oh God, and you know our destiny, god, oh God, help us, lord, to walk in purpose. And calling today In the name of Jesus, oh God, I pray, lord hallelujah, that you'll be helped today, oh Lord, someone is dreading the day, oh God.
Speaker 1Someone is dreading having to deal with a problem or an issue. Oh God, someone is worried. I pray, god, that you'll give them to feel, oh Lord, that you're right beside them. Give them to feel, lord, that they don't have to go through it alone. Give them to feel, lord, that they don't have to go through it alone. Give them to feel, lord Hallelujah, that you're right there, oh God, and you won't let them fall. God, oh God. I thank you, lord. I thank you for being a solid rock and a solid foundation that we can lean on, god, that we can stand on, oh God. I thank you today. Oh God, be our rock. Oh God, be our strength and our fortress.
Speaker 1Lord, in the name of Jesus, give us to not worry, lord, about anything, lord, but give us to pray about everything In the name of Jesus, oh God, and give us to leave our worries in prayer. Father, in the name of Jesus, oh Father, we thank you. Oh Lord, you showed us an example, lord, an example of Jesus being worried, oh God, of Jesus not wanting to endure the cross. Lord, as he battled hallelujah, he battled anxiety in the garden, oh Lord, of Gethsemane, lord, oh God, you showed us that he prayed, lord. He prayed himself into submission, god, he prayed himself into submission of your will, oh God. Help us, help us to pray into submission to your will. God, in the name of Jesus, help us to pray, lord, until worry leaves us, god, until we have a peace settling in our hearts, settling in our spirits, In the name of Jesus, oh God. Help us, lord, to pray so we are able to say, nevertheless, not my will, but thy will be done, oh God. Help us to pray, God, until, lord, your peace, lord, brings us out of prayer, oh God, and takes us into a place of action. Father, in the name of Jesus, oh God, whether the action, lord, is to go and conquer a giant, oh God, or whether the action is to stand still and to see your salvation, god, I pray today that you'll help us, lord, to be sensitive and to discern your will, to be sensitive and to discern your will. God, in the name of Jesus, oh God, I pray, lord, I pray that you'll ignite the prayer life of your people In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray, lord, that you'll give your people to begin to pray down. Fire, god, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray, lord, that you'll anoint your people, oh God, in the name of Jesus, and give them a praying spirit. God, oh God, give them a connection with you, lord, oh God, that they can use oh God at any given place, at any given time. Oh God, the old saints used to say they had a telephone in their bosom. God, help us, lord, help us to carry, oh God, communication with you everywhere we go.
Prayer for Government and Nation
Speaker 1God, in the name of Jesus. Oh Father, we place our families on the altar, oh God, we lift them up to you, father, in the name of Jesus, oh God, we pray, lord, that you'll touch that loved one, the wayward loved one, the loved one that's going through issues, oh God, the loved one, lord, oh Lord, that may not know you, oh God, in the pardoning of their sins. Oh God, we pray for them today. We pray that you will save them, oh God, oh God, that they will taste and see that you are good, oh God, that they will try you, father, and find that there is no fault in you. Oh God, we pray, lord, that you'll turn them around. Lord, that you'll turn them around, oh God, and you'll place their feet, oh God, on solid ground.
Speaker 1Father, in the name of Jesus, oh God, we thank you, lord, we thank you, jesus, because you never lose a case, you never lose a battle. Hallelujah, oh God, we ask Lord, we ask even now, god, that you'll turn things around. In the name of Jesus, we cancel the assignment of the enemy over our loved ones and over our families. In the name of Jesus, oh God, oh God, we ask today, lord, that your blood would prevail. Your blood prevail, god. Your blood, your blood prevail. We stand in the gap for our families, we stand in the gap for our loved ones, we stand in the gap for that one that doesn't have sense to pray. Oh God, we stand in the gap, oh God, and we're asking, lord, we're asking that you'll save and deliver, lord. Save and deliver God, save and deliver, god, save and deliver, save and deliver.
Speaker 1Father, in the name of Jesus, oh God, we thank you, lord. We thank you, lord, for holy living. Oh God, we thank you Lord, oh God, for a legacy of holiness. God In the name of Jesus. Oh Lord, touch, lord, oh God. Protect our children, lord, oh God. Protect them, lord, oh God, in the natural and in the spiritual. Oh, we thank you for their salvation. We thank you, lord, for holiness. God, we thank you, Lord, for filling them with the Holy Spirit, and that with a mighty burning fire. Oh God, we thank you for them today.
Speaker 1We thank you, lord, even for those that are contrary, even for those that are running from their calling, oh God, we thank you, oh God, because they can't run from you, god, oh God, no matter how fast they can't run from you, god, oh God, no matter how fast they move their legs, oh God, they can't get away, lord, from what you have called them to do. Oh God, we thank you. We thank you, god, for striving with them, lord, for pulling them in God. In the name of Jesus, oh God, I thank you today. I thank and honor you in God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you today. I thank and honor you today, lord.
Speaker 1You're a man of your word. You're a man of your word and you keep your promises. You said to train a child up in the way that he or she should go, and when they are old, they will not depart from it. And so, god, we thank you, lord, for those children, lord, those children that were kept in the house of God, those children that were kept before your face. Oh God, they may have grown up and gone a different way, but I thank you that the word of God is still true. I thank you, god, that the word of God, hallelujah, will outlast time, will outlast space, will outlast everything. I thank you, god, that the word regarding them will come to pass In the name of Jesus.
Speaker 1Oh God, that child that may have not been raised in church, oh God, I pray. I pray that you'll bring them in In the name of Jesus. I pray that you'll bring them in God In the name of Jesus. Oh God, the dissatisfaction that they've been experiencing in the world, god, I pray, lord, that it'll cause them to seek after you, that it'll cause them to try you, that it'll cause them to taste and see that you're good. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray. I pray that you'll strengthen these, your people. Oh God, to be the salt of the earth. God. Oh God, to season the earth. God In the name of Jesus. Oh God, bless these, your people. God to season the earth. God in the name of Jesus. Oh God, bless these people.

Oh God, so that those that we bump into may see. Oh God, help us, help us, god, to uphold the light, to hold it up. God, in this dark world. In the name of Jesus, give us to not hide our light. Give us to not hide it, god, but give us to hold it up. Lord in the name of Jesus, give us to be a beacon. God in the name of Jesus. Oh God, light that draws others. Light that others come to because they can't see without it. Oh God, I pray that you'll help us, god, to be that light.
Speaker 1In the name of Jesus, oh God, I thank you, lord, stir up righteousness in us. God in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you, lord, stir up righteousness in us, God, in the name of Jesus. Lord, oh God, strengthen us, lord, to do the right thing, even when people are not watching God, oh God, strengthen us, lord, to walk with integrity. God, in the name of Jesus, oh God, will we fall in the way from having integrity? Oh God, I pray, lord, that you'll straighten us, god, that you'll straighten us out, father, in the name of Jesus, that you'll help us, lord, to get back, oh God, to where we need to be.
