You’re Not Fighting for Victory; You’re Standing in It

What if the day started from a place of triumph, not tension? We lean into 1 Corinthians 15:57—“Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ”—and build the morning on gratitude, worship, and the quiet confidence that the work is already finished. From there, we walk through real life: the fight for a clear mind, the weight of unbroken habits, the ache for peace at home, and the hope we carry for our children and communities.
Together we ask God for a clean heart and a right spirit, then refuse the lie that victory depends on our perfection. We name spiritual warfare without fear, plead the blood of Jesus over our churches and families, and declare protection when the day feels charged. We pause for the inner battles—anxiety, confusion, and depression—and ask for peace that calms the nervous system and steadies our thoughts. Joy is restored without performance, faith is anchored without denial, and hope becomes practical: better communication in marriages, dignity and strength for singles, salvation and guidance for our kids, and tangible provision that meets real needs.
The devotional thread we carry is simple and strong: you’re not fighting for victory—you’re standing in it. That mindset shapes how we speak, plan, and persevere. It invites us to stop living like orphans and start living like heirs, trusting a God who provides, protects, and leads. If you’re ready to trade panic for promise and effort-for-approval for grace-fueled courage, press play and stand with us today.
If this encouraged you, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs hope this morning, and leave a quick review to help more people find these prayers. Your support helps us keep building a daily rhythm of worship, truth, and victory.

SPEAKER_00Good morning. Welcome to Morning Prayer. Today is October fifteenth, two thousand and fifteen. I'm grateful and honored to be here this morning. Our scripture today is First Corinthians the fifteenth chapter and the fifty-seventh verse. It reads, But thanks be to God. He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. And so we're praying this morning. We're praying that God will give us to walk in victory. God will give us a walk in victory. Alright, and so we're going to go into a time of prayer. Lord, we exalt your name and we give you all of the praise. We give you all of the honor. We give you all of the glory. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. We declare, Lord, that our lives belong to you. We declare, God, that you are our Lord, that you are our God. We thank you, Lord, for the strength, oh God, to be up this morning, to be on the line this morning. We thank you for that, God. We thank you for allowing us to make it to another day. God, we thank you. God, we thank you. We declare your glory here today. We declare your presence. Even in this prayer call, we declare your presence, oh God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Oh Lord, have your way. Move here like you want to move. Do what it is you would like to do today, Father. Lord, we submit to you. We submit this time of prayer to you. Holy Spirit, we submit to you. We submit to you. Have your way. Have your way in the name of Jesus. Father, my prayer is that you'll create in us a clean heart, O God. Lord, renewal right spirit, Father. In the name of Jesus, Lord. Some are struggling with habits and addictions. Some are struggling, O Lord, to walk out this walk of holiness, God. I pray. I pray that you'll wash us in the name of Jesus. That you'll help us, O God. That you'll help us, Father, to be all that you're calling us to be. In the name of Jesus. Even now we thank you, Lord, for victory. Victory over what we're struggling with. Victory over the circumstance. Victory, oh God, over every habit, oh God. Everything that's not like you, God. We thank you for victory over it. Oh God, I ask even now, Lord, that you'll help us. Help us to continue to remember, Lord, that you've already won. That you've already won that battle, that you've already given us, Lord, to be able to be free, oh God. Oh God, I pray that you'll give us to walk out our deliverance. I pray that you'll give us to walk out our freedom, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we thank you. We thank you, Lord. Your blood prevail, oh God. Your blood prevail over every iniquity, over every sin. Wash us, oh God. Wash us. Ayah. Oh God, wash us this morning. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray even now, Lord, that you'll give us, Lord, to walk in victory, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we thank you, Lord, because, oh God, the victory that we have, Lord, is not based off of our works. It's not based on how good or great we are. Oh God, but our victory is in Jesus Christ. Our victory is in our Lord and Savior. Oh God, I thank you now. I thank you now, God. Hallelujah. Oh Lord, that you have secured a win for us, Father. Oh God, you have secured, hallelujah. Oh God, triumph for us, God. Oh Lord, we thank you, Lord. Oh God, in a time of spiritual warfare, God, we're thankful that we already have the victory. Oh God, in a time where the adversary is waging war against the people of God. Oh God, in a time, Father, hallelujah, that is spiritually charged, oh God. Oh Lord, we thank you that you cover and keep us. But God, you also give us the victory. Oh God, even now we declare victory, Lord. Oh God, victory over our minds, victory over our bodies, victory over our trials, our struggles, God. Oh God, victory, Lord, in our homes, God, victory on our jobs. Oh God, victory in our businesses. Oh God, we declare victory in the name of Jesus. Oh God, not because of our goodness. Oh God, but because of what Christ has already done. Oh God, we thank you this morning. We thank you, Father. Oh Lord, that you are greater, Lord. You're greater than our adversary. Oh God, we thank you, Lord. Oh God, that if you decide to bless us, oh God, that not a demon in hell is able to prevent us from being blessed. Oh, you are still God. Oh, you are still Lord. Oh God, you are still everything that we need. Oh God, I thank you, Lord. We thank you for being in relationship with you. We thank you, God. We thank you for being our Father. We thank you, God. We thank you, Lord, for being our keeper and our sustainer. We thank you, Lord. Oh God, there's not a tear that we shed that you don't care about. Oh God, there's not a time. Oh God, we're at a place of being upset or sad, oh God, that you do not care about. Oh God, we thank you, Lord, that you care for us, that you love us. Oh God, we thank you. Hallelujah. We thank you, God, hallelujah, for relationship with you. Oh God, and we call upon the name of the Lord. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we call upon your name, God. We thank you, Lord. Oh God, for your potent, powerful blood. Oh God, we declare the blood of Jesus. Oh God, the blood of Jesus. Oh God, cover and protect us. The blood of Jesus. Oh God, block every fiery art dart of the enemy. Oh God, the blood of Jesus. Hallelujah. The blood prevail. Prevail now. Hallelujah. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we thank you that we are not ignorant to Satan's devices. Oh God, we understand that even today, oh God, as we're waking into another day, oh God, that there have been those that have been up, oh God, hallelujah, praying against the people of God. Oh, there are those that have been up praying, oh God, against our churches. Oh, we bind the devil now. In the name of Jesus, we cancel the assignment of the enemy. In the name of Jesus. Oh Yadabasoya Nanamandasia. Oh God, we cancel the assignment of the enemy. Oh God, the blood of Jesus prevail. Oh, the blood of Jesus come nigh. In the name of Jesus. Oh, the blood of Jesus, destroy every yoke. The blood of Jesus. Oh, destroy every plot, every plan. In the name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus. Oh Yanabasora Babasia. Oh, confront every witch, every warlock. Oh the blood of Jesus. Prevail even now. Prevail over every cauldron and incantation. Oh the blood of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we thank you. We thank you, Lord, that we serve Almighty God. We serve a God that gives us to walk in triumph and victory. Oh God, I thank you today. I thank you, Lord. Oh God, for securing the victory even in our minds. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, some have been walking in confusion. Oh God, some have been walking. Oh, hallelujah without direction. Oh God, I thank you this morning. Oh God, for clearing our minds. Oh God, clearing our minds from the confusion of the enemy. Oh God, I thank you this morning. Oh God, for peace in the minds of your people. I thank you this morning. Oh God, for silencing anxiety in the name of Jesus. I thank you this morning for breaking the chain of depression. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you this morning for reviving your people. Oh God, revive us, God. God, revive us in the name of Jesus. Oh God, restore us in the name of Jesus. Oh God, where we've become tired. Oh God, where we've become jaded. Oh God, where we have become Lord. Oh God, on autopilot and doing things. Oh God, because it's routine and habit. Oh God, I pray this morning. Oh God, that you'll stir us up, God. Oh God, take us back to the place where we first believed, oh God. In the name of Jesus. Restore our zeal. Oh God. Restore our love for you, God. In the name of Jesus. Oh my son of a hoa. Oh God, I pray this morning that you'll restore our joy, God, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, give us to be joyful people of God. Joyful Christians, Lord. Oh God, in spite of what we're going through. Oh God, give us true joy, God. Oh God, true joy. Oh God, not phony joy, oh God. Oh God, but true joy, God. In the name of Jesus. Give us blessed assurance, Lord, that you've already worked our situations out, God. Give us peace, oh God. Oh God, that you've already won the battle, oh God. Oh God, give us peace, Lord. Oh God, knowing that we already stand in victory. Oh God, despite whatever is happening, despite what's going on. Oh God, I pray, Lord. I pray for peace in our homes, Father. Oh God, peace with husbands and wives, God. Oh God, good communication, Father. Oh God, give us to submit to one another. In the name of Jesus. Oh Father, I thank you. I thank you, Lord, you instituted marriage. I pray that you'll give your people, oh God. Oh Lord, the strength, Father. Oh God, give your people, Lord. Hallelujah, the mindset, oh God, that they need, Lord, to thrive in their marriages. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, touch even those, Lord, that are waiting on you, Father. Oh God, those, Lord, that are single, God. Oh God, I pray that you'll keep them, Father. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray, Lord. Oh God, that they walk in relationship with you, God. Oh God, and commune with you, Lord, in such a way, Lord, that you fill every void, oh God. In the name of Jesus. God, I pray this morning. I pray, Father, that you'll give us peace, oh God. Oh God, peace, oh God, in our relationships with our children, Father. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray, and I bind every rebellious spirit in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray, Lord. Oh God, that you'll give our children, Lord. Oh God, hallelujah. To settle down, Father. Oh God, give our children, oh God. Oh Lord, to begin to receive, oh God. Oh Lord, the peace of God. Oh God, we ask that you'll save our children. We ask that you'll deliver our children. We ask that you'll heal them, oh God. In the name of Jesus. Lord, fill our children with the Holy Ghost, God. Oh God, even as you said you do it in the last days. Oh God, I pray that you'll fill our children, God. We pray, God, that you'll keep our children. Oh God, keep them, oh God, from every influence of the enemy that would pull them out into a world that doesn't care about them, God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray, God, oh God, every behavioral issue, oh God, some of our children are struggling, oh God. I pray, God, that you'll give us victory, oh God, over every behavioral issue, God. Oh God, give us victory, God, over every academic issue, God. Oh God, we lift it to you. Lord God, you're able. Oh God, touch even now, God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray, Lord. Oh God, that you'll send to our homes, Lord, the provision and everything that we need. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, regardless of what the government is doing, I thank you, Lord, that you made us a promise. Oh God, you promised, oh God, that you keep us, oh God. You promised, God, that you make a way out of no way for us. Oh God, you promised, oh God, that we would not lack, oh God. You promised to fill all of our needs, oh God. And so, God, we stand on your promise today. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, if we're experiencing lack in any area, even now we declare victory over it. In the name of Jesus. Oh hallelujah. We call provision today. Oh manada Bashaya. Oh God, we call provision. Oh God, not just from our own wages. Oh God, but we thank you, God, that the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous. We thank you, God. Oh Lord, that you'll supernaturally provide. We thank you, God, that everything that we need is on the way, oh God. We thank you that everything that we need is already in transit. Oh God, we thank you. We thank you, Jesus. We thank you, Lord. God, we thank you for victory, God. We thank you for victory. Give us the mindset of victory. In the name of Jesus, give us to not walk defeated. Oh God, but give us a mindset. Oh God of victory. Give us to walk in the victory that you have provided for us, God. Oh God, you bled for our victory. Oh God, you were tortured for our victory. Oh God, we ask this morning that you'll help us to receive it in the name of Jesus. Oh Father, we ask these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Thank God and amen. Hallelujah. We're thanking the Lord for victory today. Thanking the Lord for it. Hallelujah. Going into our time of devotional. Yes, our devotional time. So we're basing things this morning. We're basing our devotional on 1 Corinthians, the 15th chapter in the 67th verse. But thanks be to God. He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. And the description of our devotional reads, you're not fighting for victory, you're standing in it. Jesus already won. Amen. That's powerful. We're standing in victory. Hallelujah. And so today, if you would like to read the entirety of our devotional, you can find it on our Facebook page and on our Instagram page at Healing Word C O G I C. I honor God for Pastor Mark Baeman Jr., thanking the Lord for the Healing Word family this morning. And I thank God for you, for you that have prayed with us this morning. I thank God. I pray that you were blessed. I pray that you walk in the victory that God has secured for you. I pray that you'll stand in victory today. Despite whatever the enemy tries to throw at you, I pray that you'll stand in victory. I pray that your faith not fail this morning, but that you will walk in the victory that God has already mapped out for you. All right. God bless each and every one of you. We will be back tomorrow if the Lord is willing at 6 a.m. Tonight we also have evening prayer at 6 p.m. with Pastor Mark Bayman Jr. We will be back on the line at that time. God bless you. Have a beautiful day.
