What if the smallest spark could reset your whole day? We gather for morning prayer around John 1:5—“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it”—and lean into a practical, hope-soaked vision of spiritual warfare where God’s presence brings clarity, courage, and peace. No theatrics, just a steady flame that exposes lies, quiets fear, and restores focus.

We move from praise into specific intercession: healing for those fighting flu, COVID, chronic pain, and hard diagnoses; strength for weary bodies and busy minds; comfort for those who feel unseen. Drawing on the name of Jehovah Rapha and the witness of scripture, we ask boldly and expect God to work. Along the way we encourage believers at every stage—seasoned saints and those new to faith—to keep a firm grip on God’s unchanging hand, stay focused on the race set before them, and trust that timing and direction become clear when we walk close to the Shepherd.

Discernment threads through every moment. We ask for wisdom that cuts through noise, for ears trained to the Shepherd’s voice, and for courage to reject false teachings. We take our stand with the authority Jesus gives, resisting the enemy and declaring freedom from unhealthy soul ties and inherited patterns that sap strength. As we bless leaders, households, and the days ahead, we return to the core promise: the fight is fixed because Christ is victorious, and light always wins.

If this time of prayer strengthens you, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs encouragement, and leave a review to help others find it. What truth from today’s prayer will you carry into your week?

Great is your faithfulness. God, thank you for being faithful. Thank you for being true. Thank you for being just. Oh God, thank you for being loving and caring. Oh God, thank you, Lord, for your goodness that chases after us. Lord, we thank you that our testimony is surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. We thank you, God. We thank you, God, for your truth, for your word. We thank you for your light, Father. Oh God, we thank you that you are light in a dark world. Oh God, we thank you, Lord. Hallelujah. You're so powerful and so awesome. And we bless your name. Oh God, we're asking this morning, Father, that you'll give us a mind of prayer. Give us the words of prayer in the name of Jesus. Oh God, we've been praying this week. We've been praying, Lord, that you'll help us, oh God, and strengthen us in a time of spiritual warfare. God, we thank you and we celebrate the fact that light always wins, God. The fact that you always win, Father. Oh God, I'm asking that you'll help us, Father, this morning. Help us, Lord, to see it and how it applies to our lives, God. Help us to see it and how it applies to the situations that we're currently encountering. Oh God, help us this morning. In the name of Jesus, God, my prayer is for those that are struggling in their bodies. My prayer is for those that are finding themselves that have weakness in their bodies. My prayer, oh God, is for those, Lord, hallelujah, that have been, oh God, touched by the flu, touched by COVID. Oh God, those that are struggling, oh God. Oh Lord, struggling in their respiratory systems, God, those that are struggling, oh God. Oh God, struggling, Father, in their bodies. Oh God, to make it through each day. Oh God, I'm asking, Lord, for your healing hand. I'm asking, God, this morning for your healing touch. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, some are even dealing with different sicknesses and illnesses, God. Oh Lord, that the doctors say that there is no cure for. Oh God, we thank you because when they say that there is no cure, we know a cure. We know who the great physician is. We know who Jehovah Rapha is. Oh God, we thank you because if you did it in your word, God, you'll do it for us. Oh God, if you've done it for a neighbor, if you've done it for someone else, God, Lord, you'll do it for us. And we thank you, God. Hallelujah. For praise reports, God. Praise reports, God, that tell us that you heal cancer. Oh God, praise reports that tell us. Oh God, that you heal diabetes, praise reports that tell us, oh God, that you heal high blood pressure and low blood pressure. God, we thank you for the praise reports that tell us that you open up deaf ears. Oh God, thank you for praise reports, God, of those that say, hallelujah, that they once were not able to speak, but you touched them and were able to speak afterward. Oh God, thank you because you're the God that opens up blinded eyes. Oh God, we thank you, Lord. We thank you, God, that you're the God, hallelujah, that is able, God. You're more than able. You are the God of the resurrection. Oh God, you are the God. You're the same God of Lazarus. Oh God, you rose Lazarus from the dead. Oh God, you we thank you, God, hallelujah, because you are that God and you're still, hallelujah, working miracles. You're still, oh God, performing in the lives of your people. You're still performing, oh God, and doing what it is that we need you to do. Oh God, I thank you. I thank you, God. I thank you, Father, hallelujah, that your hand is not short, God, and you do not lack capability. Oh God, we thank you, Lord, that you are prayer answering. We thank you, Father, hallelujah, for how down through the years you've kept us. Oh God, I thank you, Lord. I speak encouragement, Lord, to those that have been walking with you for years. Oh God, give them strength, Lord. Oh God, give them strength to continue believing. Oh God, seasons change, times change, people change. But we thank you, Lord, that we can hold, oh God, to your hand, oh God. We can hold to your unchanging hand. Father, I'm asking, Lord, even for those that are newer in Christ, God, that you'll encourage them, that you'll help them to keep their eyes on you. God, that you'll help them, Lord, hallelujah, to be focused, oh God, on their race, Lord. Give them to focus on their race, to run the race that you have set before them in the name of Jesus. Oh Father, I thank you. I thank you, God, because Lord, you take care of us, Lord, in every phase of our walk with you. Oh God, I thank you for reviving us. Thank you for keeping us. Thank you, Lord, for supplying all of our need. Oh God, thank you for counseling us. Lord, some are on the prayer line this morning and have been searching for answers to prayer, searching and asking that you'll speak to them, Father. Oh Lord, I pray this morning that you'll grant your request, God. Grant their requests in the name of Jesus. God, give them to see and to discern. God, give them to hear and to discern in the name of Jesus. Oh God, even now, Lord, I thank you for guiding them, Lord. I thank you for opening up their spiritual eyes, opening up their spiritual ears in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you. Lord, you said that if any man lacks wisdom to let him ask it of you. Oh God, we seek you. We seek you, Lord. Oh God, that we may walk in your ways. We seek you, God. We seek you the light, Father. Oh God, to illuminate the darkness. Lord, we seek you, God, for understanding. Oh God, we ask today for wisdom. We ask today for discernment. We ask, God, that you'll give us to see things plainly as they truly are, Father. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, and we ask this morning that you'll take away, oh God, the confusion of the enemy. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, the enemy paints the picture one way. Oh God, but the reality is that it's something else. Oh God, he's a master deceiver. But God, we pray that you'll give us to see the truth. Oh God, give us to see what it is, Lord, that you're doing in the spirit realm, what you're doing, oh God, and what you need us to do. Oh Father, we thank you for giving us to discern the time and the season, Father, even as the sons of Issachar, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, give us to discern what it is that we should be doing in this moment and in this time. In the name of Jesus, we ask that even for our ministries, in the name of Jesus, give us to be effective, Father. Oh God, give us to go in the strength of God, in the timing of God, in the name of Jesus. Oh Lord, we thank you. We thank you, God. Hallelujah. That in spite of the distractions of the world, in spite of the distractions of the enemy, oh God, you're able to lead your sheep as the good shepherd. Lord, be the good shepherd that we need you to be. Oh God, give us to cleave to the good shepherd in the name of Jesus. Give us to not be deceived in this day by false prophets and voices. Oh God, of strange doctrine. But God, we thank you today for giving us to know the voice of our shepherd. Oh God, to know the voice of the one that cares for us, to know the voice of the one, hallelujah, that is calling our name. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you, Lord. Oh God, for causing, Lord, the fog to clear, for causing the fog to clear, and giving us to have a clear picture of what it is you want us to do. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we thank you, Lord. We thank you, God, that in the midst of every circumstance, in the midst of every hardship, in the midst of every struggle, God, we thank you that the light always wins. God, you always win. Oh God, you shine in the darkness and the darkness cannot overcome you. Oh God, you shine, God, and the enemy is incapable of blowing out your light, God. Oh God, the enemy is incapable of overcoming you. Oh God, we thank you, Lord, that that fundamental truth, God, is encouragement to us in our spiritual battle. It's encouragement to us in spiritual warfare. Oh God, it's encouraging to know, God, that the fight is fixed and we already win. Oh God, it's encouraging to know, Father. Oh God, that our strength is being renewed. It's encouraging, oh God, to know. Oh God, that we're not in a battle by ourselves. Oh God, but you are God of the angel armies. Oh God, and you command even the angelic host, God. Oh Lord, to fight with us and to fight for us. Oh God, we thank you that not only have you done that, oh God, but God, you've given us power, God. Oh God, your word says that you've given us power, Lord. Oh God, to tread upon serpents and scorpions, oh God, and that they will not harm us, Father. Oh God, you've given us power over the enemy. God, you've given us power, Lord. You said greater things than you have done, we would do. Oh God, we thank you. Hallelujah. Because your word shows exploit after exploit, thing after thing that you did. Healing, oh God, that you did, oh God. Oh Lord, your word shows. Oh God, you rebuking the devil. The word shows, hallelujah, that you're coming through and speaking a word. Oh God, and by the word, there being healing. Oh God, I pray this morning, and we ask that you'll help us to walk in. Oh God, the promise that you've given us, that we would do greater things than what we saw Christ do. Oh God, that we would do greater things, that we'd lay hands on the sick and they would recover. That we'll speak a word, oh God. We'd speak a word in the spirit, God, and it would shift, oh God. It would shift the atmosphere. Oh God, we thank you, Lord. Oh God, that your word let us know that we can rebuke the devil and that he will flee from us. Oh God, we take a stand this morning and we rebuke the devil. We bind the devil. We bind the devil in the name of Jesus. I am the Mosiah. We bind the devil in the name of Jesus. Oh, in the name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus prevails over the devil this morning. Oh God, the blood of Jesus. Oh God, chase the enemy out in the name of Jesus. Oh God, your blood prevail. Prevail in the minds of your people, God. Oh God, prevail in the minds of your people. Prevail in the minds of your people. God, eradicate stress. God, eradicate worry. God, eradicate, Lord, depression. Oh God, eradicate personality disorders. Oh God, eradicate it, Father. Oh God, destroy it, Father. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we thank you, Lord, for giving us to not be linked to. Oh God, anything that is not like you. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we come against every soul tie. We destroy the yoke of every soul tie. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, those that we have tied ourselves to. Oh God, in dealing with those that were not like you. Oh God, even those Lord. Oh God, that has been passed down through generations in our family line. Oh God, we destroy the yoke of every soul tie. In the name of Jesus, we renounce every wicked association in our lives and in our bloodlines. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, your blood prevail. Oh God, every oath, oh God, every oath that we've taken, oh God, that was not like you, every oath that was taken by our ancestors that was not like you and reflects in our lives today. We bind that in the name of Jesus. We bind that in the name of Jesus. We break that covenant in the name of Jesus. Oh God, and we thank you, Lord. We thank you, God, for the blood of Jesus that blocks that out of our lives, that blots that out of our bloodlines. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we declare that as for me in my house, we will serve the Lord. Oh God, we declare, as for me in my house, we will serve the Lord. Oh God, we thank you today. We thank you today. Oh God, that the chains of yesterday no longer hold us today. Hallelujah. Oh God, break every fetter, break every chain, destroy every yoke. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray some are exhausted, exhausted in their minds, exhausted in their bodies. Oh God, I thank you, Lord, for a renewal of strength for them today. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, give them to go in supernatural strength. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, strength that is beyond what their body should be able to do. Strength beyond what their mind should be able to comprehend. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we thank you. We thank you and we honor you. We thank you and we honor you. Father, we're going into a weekend, Father. But God, I pray that if you allow us to make it through the weekend that you'll continue to bless the people of God, oh Lord, send a ramo word to your people. God, the on-time word that we need to hear. Oh God, the word that speaks directly to where we are in our faith walk. Oh God, the word that opens up our understanding to how we should be moving and what we should be doing. In the name of Jesus, Lord, I pray that you'll strengthen every leader. God, your blood prevail over them and their families in the name of Jesus. Oh God, the enemy is very interested in the leader, knowing that the anointing flows from the head down. So God, I pray, I pray that you'll strengthen every leader under the sound of my voice and even those that might not join us. God, I ask that you'll do it for your goodness and for your glory and for the edification of the body of Christ. In the name of Jesus. Oh Lord, we're thanking you and we're praising you. We're thanking you and we're praising you. Oh God, we're asking all of these things in Jesus' name. Thank God and amen. Amen. Thank the Lord for our time of prayer. Thanking God for being with us this morning. He doesn't have to be with us. We don't have to feel his presence, but we thank God that we do this morning. We thank God that he has graced us with his presence. In our devotional today, it reads, Light always wins. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1 and 5. It reads Light doesn't fight with darkness. It simply shows up and darkness flees. In spiritual warfare, God's presence is our light. And when he is near, no demonic force can stay. Fear, anxiety, confusion, and lies vanish in the presence of his truth and holiness. When we choose to walk in the light through obedience, prayer, and the word, we disarm the enemy's influence. Never forget, even the smallest light crushes the thickest darkness. Amen. The light always wins. And we are on the side of the light. We are walking in the light. Amen. We thank God for our devotional this morning. You can actually look at it, read it again in your own time on our Facebook and our Instagram page at Healing Word C O G I C. Amen. We thank the Lord for each one of you that has joined us this morning. I thank God for you. Thank God for the prayer warriors. I thank God that the prayers of the righteous avail much. Your prayer means a lot. Your prayer means a lot. Even your tired prayers, because sometimes it's hard to wake up at this hour. But I thank God. I thank God that your prayers, your consistencies, those things are being heard even in the heavenlies, and you're yet fighting battles, even when you feel like you're not at your best. Amen. So I thank God for each one of you. I thank God for those that will listen to the playback. We thank God for you. We bless the Lord for you for making it be that we're week after week we have over a hundred downloads of people that have engaged with our podcast. We thank God for each one of you. We ask that if this is blessing you, that you share it. You share it with a friend, a family member. You share it so that they can be a part of it also and be blessed by prayer. All right, we thank the Lord for Pastor Mark Bayman Jr., he is the pastor and founder of Healing Word Ministries. My pastor, I thank God for him this morning. I thank God for the Healing Word family. We thank God. We thank God. So thankful to God, uh, even for this weekend. And if the Lord allows it, we will return on Monday. We'll return on Monday and continue with morning prayer. God bless you. Have a wonderful day and a beautiful weekend.
