Healing Prayer
When We Resist The Devil, He Must Flee
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Start the week with a clear mind, a steady heart, and a firm stand. We open with praise, move through confession and surrender, then take our place on the solid ground of James 4:7: resist the devil, and he will flee. This isn’t passive optimism—it’s active faith expressed through prayer, worship, and the Word, aimed at real struggles in homes, bodies, and plans.
We lay our calendars before God and ask Him to reorder priorities with wisdom. From that surrendered posture, we claim the authority of Christ rather than leaning on willpower. You’ll hear focused intercession for marriages, children, and grandchildren—naming rebellion, pride, and confusion—and asking for open ears, open hearts, and a love for wise counsel. This is spiritual warfare in the everyday: speaking life over family, resisting traps, and choosing alignment with Scripture.
We also press into healing. With respiratory illness on many minds, we pray for breath to return, airways to open, and lungs to be made whole. We bring bloodwork, X-rays, and MRI reports before God, asking not only for relief but for wholeness—joints strengthened, eyesight restored, inflammation eased, organs renewed. The tone stays grounded and hopeful: we don’t deny facts, but we refuse to let them define our future when Christ has already won our freedom.
The devotional closes with a crisp reminder: resistance works because of Jesus. Prayer, worship, and truth are not extras—they are the strategy. If this time blesses you, share it with someone who needs strength for the week. Subscribe for more morning prayer, leave a review to help others find us, and tell us: what are you resisting today?

SPEAKER_01Good morning and welcome to the morning prayer. Two thousand and twenty-five. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Resist the devil. And he will flee from you. And we are continuing on in spiritual warfare this week. Resisting the devil. We're going to go into prayer this morning. Hallelujah. We give you praise God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. We make mention of your name. Hallelujah. We mention the name of Jesus. We call the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Lord, we love you. Lord, we love you. Hallelujah. Lord, we thank you, God. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Hallelujah. We thank you for bringing us through the weekend, oh God. Giving us to start a new week. Father, we're thankful and we praise you. Lord, we ask you this morning that you'll give us the words of prayer. We're asking this morning, Lord, that you'll lead us. God, we have one thing that we want to pray for, Father. But Lord, we want to pray your will. We want to pray your will this morning. We want to pray, oh God, and for our prayers to ascend on high. Lord, we want to pray your will. God, I'm asking that you'll guide us in the name of Jesus. Lord, we ask you that you'll forgive us of our sins this morning. We ask you, God, that you'll forgive us, Lord, of every reproach, God. We ask, Lord, that you'll forgive us, Lord, for every stumble, God. We ask that you'll forgive us, God, Lord, for every lie told, Lord, for everything that we have done that was against you, against your will, in the name of Jesus. Oh Father, we're asking, Lord, that you'll wash us, wash us in your blood. Lord, we're asking that you'll clean us, O God, and make us new in the name of Jesus. Oh God, we ask that you'll blot out every transgression. Oh God, every place where we misstepped, every place where we misspoke. Oh God, we're asking that you'll blot it out in the name of Jesus. Oh God, we submit and surrender to you today. In the name of Jesus. Lord, we're praying into your will, Father. Oh God, we're praying not our will, but your will be done in the name of Jesus. Oh God, we thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord, for Romans 12 and 1. Oh God, we thank you. We thank you that we present our bodies as a living sacrifice unto you. Holy and acceptable, O God, which is our reasonable service. Oh God, we want to prove that which is the good and perfect will of God for our lives. Oh God, so in our surrender, we ask, Lord, that you'll work your will in our lives. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, in our surrender, O God, we're asking, Father, that our footsteps would be guided and ordered by you. Oh Lord, our prayers be ordered by you. In the name of Jesus. Oh Lord, I pray this morning. I pray, God, that at the start of this new week, Father, O God, that our plans would be laid before you in the name of Jesus. God, we ask that you'll grant us the desires of our heart according to your will. Lord, we have goals, we have plans, we have things that we said that we want to do this week. But God, we set them before you. We set those plans down before your throne. And God, we say to you, Lord, we say to you that you can have your way here. In the name of Jesus, you can work things out, God, according to your plan and not ours. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, work, oh God, our plans out, God. Oh God, in your divine wisdom. In the name of Jesus. And God, we thank you. God, we thank you that your plans and your ways are better and higher than our plans. Oh God, we thank you that your desire, God, in our plans, oh God, is to work your will, God, and to bless us. So God, we thank you for taking over our calendar this week. Oh God, even today, even this morning, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, we thank you for your will. Your will be done even now. Your will be done even now in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you. Oh God, I praise you. Oh God, there's none like you in all the earth, Lord. Oh the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, and they that dwell therein. Oh God, we thank you, Lord, that you're in control. Oh God, we give you control and authority over our lives. Oh God, have your way today. In the name of Jesus. Oh Father, we thank you. We thank you for the authority that we have in Christ. Oh God, we thank you, Lord, that we don't stand in our own power. We don't stand in our own right, Lord. But God, we stand. We stand in the Word of God. We stand, hallelujah, on the work of Christ at the cross. Father, we stand in victory. Oh God, because of the work that you've already done. Oh Father, I ask this morning. Oh God, every area of our lives. Oh God, that is being held down by the enemy. Oh God, every area of our lives where strongholds exist. Oh God, every area of our lives where there is demonic interference. Oh God, every area of our lives that is going contrary to the word of God. Oh, we resist the devil in these areas. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, in every area where we are tempted, we resist the devil. Oh God, where we're hallelujah tempted. Oh God, to do things our way versus what the Word of God says that we ought to do. Oh God, versus hallelujah, what it is that we could see Jesus doing in this situation. Oh God, we resist the devil in the name of Jesus. Oh God, we thank you. Thank you for your powerful and blessed name. Oh God, we thank you. Oh God, that the bondages and chains of the enemy do not apply to the believer. Oh God, we thank you that you have set us free. And so therefore we are free indeed. And God, we stand in your freedom. Oh God, we stand in what you've purchased for us. Oh God, we thank you. Oh God, you pave the way. Oh God, you've paved the path to freedom. And we thank you, Lord. And we hallelujah stand. We stand fast and stand firm. Oh God, in the authority which was given to us through Christ Jesus. Oh Father, O God, O God. We come against every demonic force that is seeking to kill, steal, and destroy from us. In the name of Jesus. Oh, we stand with heaven this morning. Oh, we stand with God this morning. And we resist the devil. In the name of Jesus. Oh, we speak now. And we say flee from our lives. Flee from our minds. Flee from our bodies. Flee from our homes. In the name of Jesus. We resist the devil in our marriages. Flee out of our marriages. In the name of Jesus. Oh, we lay our children on the altar. We lay our grandchildren on the altar. Oh, we resist the devil. We resist the plan of the enemy. We resist the trap of the enemy in the lives of our children. And in the lives of our grandchildren. Oh even now. We bind your work. We bind your work and we resist it. And we command that you flee from it. In the name of Jesus. Flee from the lives of our children. Flee from the lives of our grandchildren. In the name of Jesus. Oh God. We declare over their lives that they shall have long lives, that you shall satisfy them with long life. Oh we declare, oh God, that our children, God, will honor their father and honor their mother, that their days may be long. Oh God, we thank you. We resist the spirit of rebellion in the name of Jesus. The spirit of rebellion. Oh God, that strives to have a stronghold in the lives of our children. In the lives of our children's children, we resist rebellion. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we thank you. Oh God, for helping our children and our grandchildren. Oh God, to have an open ear and an open heart to instruction. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, bind up that spirit of pride. Oh God, that would give them. Oh God, to resist wise counsel. In the name of Jesus. Oh, we thank you this morning. We cover them under the blood. A la da bashaya. Aya la rabasia. In the name of Jesus. Oh, we cover them. Oh, we cover them. Oh God, nieces and nephews. We cover them. Ayala Baso. Anam na Rada Spi. In the name of Jesus. We cover them under the blood of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you for giving us, Lord, to walk through our lives, God. Oh God, with the word of God as the lamp that we hold up. We hold up to view our relationships. We hold up to view our behavior in the name of Jesus. Oh God, if anything that we have in our life, oh God, is contrary to your word and contrary to your will for our lives. Oh God, we'll give it up this morning. Oh God. We'll sacrifice it this morning. Oh God. Oh God. We'll lay it down. Oh God, even right now, in the name of Jesus. Lord, we want you. We want you. We want the more of you. We want the more of you. Oh God, I pray. I pray, Father. Oh God, for healing in our bodies. In the name of Jesus. Oh God. Oh God. We thank you, we thank you. We thank you, we thank you. We walk into this week saying, We thank you. We thank you, we thank you. We declare this morning, oh God, that we will not sit complacent where the enemy is trying to bind us up, but instead we resist the devil and we command him to flee in the name of Jesus. Oh hallelujah. God, we ask all these things in Jesus' mighty name. Thank God and amen and amen. We thank the Lord, hallelujah, for prayer. We thank the Lord for giving us to persevere and to press into prayer this morning. I thank God because his word says so plainly, getting into our devotional, that if we resist the devil, he will flee from us. James 4 and 7. Our devotional reads, you have authority in Christ to stand your ground. The enemy will try to intimidate you with lies, temptation, and discouragement. But you're not powerless. The Bible says if you resist the devil, he will flee. Not might will. Not might will. The devil will flee. That resistance isn't passive. That resistance isn't passive, it's active through prayer, worship, and the declaration of God's truth. Don't give in. Don't back down. Resist him in Jesus' name and watch him run. Amen. We thank the Lord. We thank the Lord for the power in the blood of Jesus, the power in the name of Jesus, the power that we stand on to resist the devil and he will flee from us. All right, we thank God for this scripture, for this devotional. We thank God for this time of prayer. I thank the Lord for every prayer warrior, every individual that is on the line praying. I pray that you are blessed by the prayer. I pray that your day is started off well because of the prayer. Your week starts off well because of the prayer. I pray that God will bless you even for your sacrifice. Those that are tuning in on the podcast, I thank God for you. I pray that the prayer would be effective and that it would be helpful. And if you're finding that it is, share it with a loved one, share it with a friend. Hallelujah. We never know exactly what others are going through, but sharing prayer is a powerful thing.
