Faith gets tested in hallways, not just in sanctuaries. We open with 2 Corinthians 5:7—“For we walk by faith, not by sight”—and move through a full-bodied time of prayer that faces real pressure: bills due, bodies hurting, doors closed, headlines heavy. Rather than rush to easy answers, we ask for the grace to pray effectively and fervently, trusting that God hears us, and letting persistence train our focus. You’ll hear scripture spoken as strategy, not just comfort, as we invite the Holy Spirit to steady our minds and pull our attention from what’s visible to what’s promised.

From national uncertainty to global hardship, we name the weight and still speak hope. We declare God’s word into dark places, not to deny the facts, but to deny them the final say. The image that carries the episode is simple and sharp: judge by God’s blueprint, not the hallway debris. Like any renovation, the mess looks worse before the reveal. Faith says the Designer is trustworthy, the plan is sound, and the clutter is temporary. That perspective reframes setbacks, renews courage, and restores a quiet confidence: we are more than able with God’s help.

We also pray for healing that surprises even our caregivers, for provision that meets food, housing, and employment needs, and for minds washed clean of patterns that fuel unbelief. If you’re standing in a torn-up hallway, this time of prayer offers language, scripture, and steady companionship for the next step. Subscribe to stay connected with daily prayer, share this with someone who needs a lift, and leave a review to help others find this space of faith and hope. What hallway are you walking through today?

Good morning. Welcome to Morning Prayer. Today is uh November fourth, two thousand and twenty-five. We're thankful to the Lord for being here another day. And we're going to get into our scripture for the morning. Our scripture for the morning is Corinthians, I'm sorry, Second Corinthians, the fifth chapter and the seventh verse. For we walk by faith, not by sight. For we walk by faith, not by sight. Second Corinthians five and seven. We're going to go before the Lord today, just praying that God will help us to keep our eyes of faith open. Even in times where it seems like nothing is going our way or nothing is happening like we want it to happen. We want to still walk by faith. And we not we don't want to just trust what we see with our own eyes. Amen. And so we're going to go before the Lord. There's no one like you. We thank you, Jesus. Thank you for this time of prayer. Thank you for this new day, Lord. Thank you, Lord, for the activity of our limbs. Thank you, Lord, for maintaining and keeping our minds, Lord. Lord, we thank you. Lord, we thank you. Lord, we thank you. Hallelujah. Oh God, we thank you. We thank you for all that you've done. We thank you for all that you've done. In the name of Jesus. We thank you because everything that you've done, God, you've done it well, Lord. And God, we thank you. Oh God, come in and have your way. Oh God, come in and have your way. Yes to your way today. Yes to your way today. Yes to your way today. Hallelujah. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. Have your way, Lord. Yes, Lord. Have your way, Lord. Holy Spirit, hallelujah. We welcome you. We welcome you. Ah God. Hallelujah. We welcome you here. Have your way here. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray this morning that you'll continue, Lord. Oh God, to give us the words of intercession, that you'll guide us as we're praying. Oh God, not one idle word falling, oh God. But Lord, I ask that you'll help us to pray in your will, Lord. I ask that you'll help us, Lord, to pray effectively and even fervently, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, the prayers, the effectual, fervent prayers of the righteous availeth much, Lord. Oh God, the effectual, fervent prayer. God, it avails much. Oh God. I thank you, Lord, for giving us to pray, God. Oh God, effectively, God. Oh God, and fervently, Lord. Oh God, seeking your face, God, even when we don't have quick outcomes, Lord. Help us to continue to pray and to trust you. To trust that you heard us the first time. To trust, God, hallelujah, that the prayer is not even as much for you as it is for us, Lord. Oh God, you hear us the first time that we call. Oh God, but sometimes continuing to pray is needed. Hallelujah. To continue to build our faith, to continue to put our minds under the subjection of the Spirit. Oh God, I pray this morning that you'll help us, Father. Help our unbelief. Help our minds, Lord. Oh God, our minds, Lord, that want to look at the natural. Oh God, that want to look at the obstacles. Oh God, and to see things practically. Oh God, our minds are ready to apply logic and reasoning. Our minds are ready, hallelujah, to look at things in the natural and not in the spiritual. Oh God, help us, Lord. We thank you that you've given us minds that work. Oh God, but Lord, help our minds, Lord. Help our minds to begin, Lord. Oh God, to yield to faith. Oh God, to begin to yield to the Spirit of the Most High God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we thank you. Oh God, thank you for 2 Corinthians 5 and 7. Oh God, you told us that we walk by faith and not by sight. Oh God, we walk, we step out on the Word of God. We step out on what it is you've given us to do. Oh God, we step out, Lord, even when it doesn't look like we're able to do what you're calling us to do. Oh God, we walk by faith. Oh God, we walk by faith. Oh God, help us to walk by faith today in the name of Jesus. Oh God, this is a trying time. Oh God, this is a trying time. Oh God, not just for me alone. Oh God, but for the United States. This is a trying time. Oh God, not just the United States. Oh God, but there are many countries, many places that are dealing with hardships and suffering. And God, we've found it to be that this is not an easy place to sit in. Oh God, suffering is not an easy place to sit in. Oh God, persecution. Oh God, not an easy place to sit in. Oh God, I pray, Lord, that you'll help us to take a stand in the name of Jesus. Oh God, give us to take a stand using the sword of the Spirit, oh God. Oh God, give us to begin to speak the Word of God into our darkest situations. Give us to begin to speak the Word of God. Oh God, into the things that seem to be most hopeless and impossible. Oh God, I pray, even right now, God, oh Lord, that you'll drop a scripture into our hearts, Lord, that will bring us through. That will bring us through the day. Oh God, we thank you, Lord, that we can lean on 2 Corinthians 5 and 7. Oh God, we can lean on it when we find ourselves trying to figure out how you're gonna do it, how you're gonna work a miracle, how we're coming out of something. Oh God, when we feel that doubt, we can declare. Oh God, we can declare a thing and cause the enemy to flee. Oh God, I thank you, Lord, for the power and the truth of the word of God. I thank you, Lord, for the authority of the Word of God. Oh God, I thank you today. Oh Lord, you've been so good. Oh God, not only do you keep us daily, oh God, but you provide for us. Oh God, you even give us a word when we need it. Oh God, you send your word, oh God, and your word heals us. Your word delivers us. Oh God, your word, oh God. It helps us, Lord. It soothes, oh God. It soothes us, God, when we're not at peace, oh God. It soothes us, God, when we need comfort. We thank you for the power in the word of God. Oh Lord, I thank you. I thank you for these. I pray, Lord, that you'll touch these today, these your people, that you'll grant them favor. Oh God, I thank you because you've already heard their request. I thank you because you already know their heart. I thank you because you already know what they stand in need of. Oh good Father, I'm asking, Lord, that you'll help us, good God, that you'll help us, good God, that you'll help us, Lord, that you'll help us today. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, help us to stay focused. Help us to stay, oh God, where we are looking at things through the eyes of faith and not by sight, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, our natural sight may say that it will never be done. Oh God, our hallelujah, natural sight will bring up all the facts, all the reasons why it is impossible. Oh God, our natural minds can only conceive, oh God, the logic of this world. But Lord God, I thank you. Oh God, that the eyes of faith, oh God, begin to say, is there anything too hard for God? Oh God, I thank you. I thank you that the eyes of faith, oh, begin to say, I walk by faith and not by sight. Oh God, I thank you, Lord, that the eyes of faith, oh God, cause us to look at the situation and to see the greatness of our God, to not see the limitations that we have ourselves. Oh God, but it looks at the unlimited God. It looks at the Almighty God. Oh God, it looks at the God that never fails. Oh God, the omnipotent ruler. Oh God, the omnipresent King. Oh God, the eyes of faith. Oh, they don't look at the shortcomings of who we are, but the eyes of faith look at the greatness of our God. Oh God, you're too great to let your children go hungry. Oh God, you're too great. Oh God, to let your children be lacking. Oh God, you're too great. Hallelujah. To withhold a good thing from us. Oh God, you're too good and you're too great. Oh God, to allow your people to not be cared for. I thank you, Jesus. Oh God, we yet declare that we're coming out of the shutdown better than when we went into the shutdown. Oh, we're yet declaring it in the name of Jesus. We're yet expecting it in the name of Jesus. Oh Lord God, have your way. Have your way in the mind and in the heart of your people. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, change our outlook. Oh God, and give us an outlook of faith. Oh God, where the original report was, that it cannot be done. Oh God, where the original report, God, was like those that spied out the promised land for the people of Israel. Oh God, the first spy said that there are giants in the land. Oh, they first said, hallelujah, that it looked as if the promised land was unattainable. Oh God, but we thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord, for the spies that had the good report, the spies that looked at it through the eyes of faith. Oh God, the ones that said that we are more than able. We're more than able with the help of God to conquer the giants in the land. Oh, and today we take the same faith. We are more than able. We're more than able to conquer the giants in the land. The giants of this time. We're more than able to conquer them with God on our side. Oh, if God be for us, who can be against us? Oh God, we thank you today. We thank you, God, that you fight our battles for us and you cause us to triumph. And you cause us to win. Oh God, I thank you. Lord, let your blood cover our minds. The blood of Jesus prevail over the mind of your people. Oh hallelujah. Oh hallelujah. Deliver from all negativity. Deliver from all the distortions of the enemy. In the name of Jesus. Oh God. Oh God, deliver our minds today. Wash our minds in the blood of Jesus. Oh God, deliver today. Yes, I commandable. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we say yes to your deliverance. Oh, we say yes to your deliverance. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, break down every pattern of thinking that causes us to be in a state of unbelief. Where we don't trust you as we should, where we don't depend on you as we should. Oh dear God. Oh dear God, break the chain. Ayaba Hoshaya. Destroy the Yoke God in the name of Jesus. Oh yes, Lord. Oh God. I pray this morning. I pray, Lord, that you'll touch the bodies this morning, the bodies of your people. Oh God, touch us from the crown of our heads to the soles of our feet. Send down healing. Send down deliverance. And above in the name of Jesus. Oh yes, Lord. We thank you, God. Oh God, for pain and inflammation. Oh God, beginning to leave us. Oh God, we thank you. Oh God for doing it in the face of our health care providers. Oh God, that they may know that you are God. That they may know that you are the great physician. That you are the healer. That they may come to call upon your name. Oh God, we thank you today. Oh Lord, I pray. I pray for that person that's worried today about where their food is coming from, about where their meal is coming from. That person that's worried, Lord, about being evicted. I pray for them today. In the name of Jesus. That person that's worried because they cannot find a job. I pray for them today, God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, open up doors, oh God. Open up doors, Lord. Oh God, provide like you said you would. Oh God, fix every situation like you said you would. You're a miracle worker. You're a miracle worker. You're a miracle worker. And God, we thank you. And God, we praise you. In Jesus' name. Another Siah. In Jesus' name. Oh God, we thank you and we praise you. In Jesus' mighty name. Thank God and amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. We thank the Lord for prayer this morning. Thank the Lord for his spirit moving. Thank the Lord for our scripture today. 2 Corinthians 5 and 7. We're going to get into our devotional. Our devotional says, judge by his blueprint, not the hallway debris. This was one of the things that Pastor Mark was talking about on Sunday. Judge by his blueprint, not the hallway debris. The scripture is, for we walk by faith and not by sight, 2 Corinthians 5 and 7. Our reflection is that when you judge your journey by what's currently visible, you'll always be tempted to quit too soon. The hallway is not the home, it's the passage. God's blueprint for your life includes foundations you can't yet see. Don't let temporary clutter make you doubt eternal design. Keep walking, eyes fixed on the unseen promise, not the visible problems. And the prayer here is Father, keep our eyes on your design, not our detours. Help us to see beyond what's in front of us and to trust what you've got planned for us already. Amen. It doesn't look like it's going to amount to much. Sometimes it looks far worse than it did before they started, when they start tearing things up. And so in the spirit, looking at that in a spiritual sense, we're looking at the fact that God has a blueprint for our lives. He has a blueprint for our lives, he has a plan for our lives. And though things may look messy, there's a great design that He is working to fulfill in our lives. Amen. So be encouraged. It may look messy, it may look like it's not going to amount to much, but little becomes much in the hands of our God. Amen. So God bless each and every one of you. I thank God for you prayer warriors that are on the line today. Giving a shout out to the Suttles family this morning, giving a shout out to the Healing Word family this morning. Pastor Mark Baeman, thanking God for him. Thanking God for you that are listening, coming in on the podcast even later on. We thank God for you. And we are going to go at this point. We will be back tomorrow on November 5th if the Lord delays his coming, and we'll be praying again in the morning. God bless you. Have a beautiful day.
