A simple line of Scripture becomes a blueprint for change: we are being transformed into the image of Christ with ever increasing glory. We open in heartfelt worship and move straight into honest confession, asking God to wash what blocks growth and to reshape what drives our choices. From there, we lean into a bold request—remove jealousy, pride, and selfishness—and ask for a heart that looks like Jesus: compassionate, steady, and ready to serve.

We talk about unity that doesn’t erase difference. Some plant, others water, and God gives the increase. That vision frees us from comparison because security in God’s love means no one can take our place in His eyes. When you know you’re seen and cherished, you can celebrate someone else’s win without shrinking. We carry that security into practical faith: trusting God for provision, peace that steadies anxious minds, and resilience when plans fall apart.

Our intercession gets specific. We pray for healing across arthritis, kidney issues, glucose challenges, heart and eye conditions, and seasonal illnesses like flu, pneumonia, and COVID. We ask for protection for families and communities, and we plead for restoration for those who lost homes and businesses in Jamaica. Threaded through every segment is a clear theme: transformation is divine craftsmanship. Delays grow patience, disappointments deepen dependence, and blessings teach gratitude. Instead of asking why me, we ask how is this forming Christ in me—and we look for choices that reflect growth.

Welcome And Scripture For The Day

SPEAKER_00

Good morning, welcome to morning prayer. Honoring the Lord and thanking the Lord for November 5th, 2025. Amen. Our scripture for today is 2 Corinthians the third chapter, the 18th verse. It reads, And we all are being transformed into his image with ever increasing glory. And we all are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory. Second Corinthians the third chapter and the eighteenth verse. Our prayer this morning is that God will continue to shape us into and mold us into the image of Christ to be more like Him. Amen. And we're going to go before the Lord in prayer. Father, your name is above all names. Father, we give your name all of the praises, Lord. They belong to you. Father, we worship you and we adore you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. We give you the highest praise. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Oh God, we worship you. We worship you in spirit and in truth. We worship you. Hallelujah. We worship you, Lord. You've been good. You've been good. We thank you for your goodness. We thank you for your goodness. We thank you for your goodness, God. You've been so good. Hallelujah. You've been so good. Oh God, in our uh excitement in our high days, you've been good, God. On our low days, God, you've yet been good. God, we thank you because you've been good to us, God. You've been good to us, Lord, and we praise your name. We praise your name, Lord. Oh Father, I pray, God, that you will allow us, Lord, to hallelujah, be led this morning into a time of prayer. Holy Spirit, guide our words. Holy Spirit, guide our words. Have your way. Guide this time of prayer in the name of Jesus. Oh, we're looking to you to give us the words of intercession. We're looking to you, Lord, to give us what we ought to pray for this morning, even pertaining others, God. Oh God, even pertaining ourselves, God. Oh Lord, we're looking to you, Father, to give us the discernment, oh God, to pray in the spirit. Oh, even now, hallelujah, we pray that you would forgive us of our sins, Father. In the name of Jesus, Lord, we don't want anything standing in between us. But God, we pray that you'll wash us, oh God, of our sins and our iniquities. In the name of Jesus, forgive us, oh God, for wrongdoing. Oh God, forgive us of wrong thoughts, Lord. In the name of Jesus, wash us in the blood of Jesus. In the name of Jesus, oh God, Lord, we come to you, Lord, because we realize, God, that by ourselves, Father, that things just don't work. Oh God, by ourselves and in our own strength, Lord, oh God, we are so limited to what we're able to do, to what we are able to accomplish. But God, we recognize today and we give you the glory and the praise. And we thank you, Lord. Oh God, for being with us, Lord, and for helping us along our spiritual walk, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you, Lord. I'm asking, Lord, that you'll help us, God, that you'll transform us today, Lord, even into the more of the likeness of Christ. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we want to act like Christ. We want to say what Christ would have said. Oh God, we want to walk, oh God. Hallelujah. Oh God, busy, oh God, about the Father's business. Oh God, we want to be more like Jesus today. Oh God, we pray, Lord, we pray that you'll remove jealousy and anger and fear from us, God. Oh God, take it out of us, God. In the name of Jesus, that we might walk more like Christ, that our motives may match the motives of Christ. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, help us to be so kingdom-minded. Oh God, that we don't have an issue. We don't have an issue with letting our brother and our sister succeed, pushing them into a place of success, pushing them past where we are, oh God, and allowing, hallelujah, for them to win. Oh God, help us, Lord. Oh God, take that out of us, God. Take the jealousy out of us, Lord. Oh God, take the pride out of us, Father. Oh God, take, oh Lord, the selfishness out of us, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, and we pray, Lord, that you'll help us, Lord. Help us, God, to become support to our other brothers and sisters. Help us to become support, God, and take on, oh God, the ways of Christ, even pertaining kingdom work, Lord. Oh God, Lord, we thank you. Oh God, and your word, Lord. Oh God, it talked about some planting, oh God, some watering, oh God, and some giving and God giving the increase to the seed, oh God. Oh Lord, your word lets us know that sometimes that the word is not just planted into one person and watered into one person by just one individual. But God, sometimes, sometimes it takes multiple people, sometimes it takes more than one person. Oh God, for the people of God to be blessed, for them to receive the word, for the word to take root in their hearts and to grow. Oh God, one may plant the seed, another one may water it, God. But Lord, we're serving the same God, and you give the increase. Oh God, I pray that you'll give us to work, oh God, to work the vineyard in unity. Oh God, to work the vineyard in strength, oh God, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you, Lord. I thank you, God, for giving us to be secure, to be secure in what we are to you, God, and who you are to us. Help us to be secure, Lord, that no one can ever take our place in your eyes. Help us to be secure, God, that we don't have to do anything to make you proud, God. But Lord, you're already proud of us. Oh God, we don't have to fight anyone else. We don't have to put anyone else down. Oh God, but we are all important in your eyes. Oh God, you love us so. Oh God, you love us so. God, you love us past, past our flaws. You love us past, oh God, our issues. You love us so much, God. Oh God, and you love us and you're so gracious to us. You love us in ways that we don't even deserve. And so, God, we ask this morning that you'll help us. Oh God, help us to not fight, Lord, for your affection. Help us, oh God, to not fight, Lord. Oh God, for the attention, Lord. But God, I pray, I pray, Lord, that you'll help us. Help the body of Christ, Lord. Help the body of Christ, Lord. Oh God, help us to grow, God. Help us to grow. Help us to grow, God, and help us, Lord, to love one another like never before. Oh God, I'm asking today, Lord, that you'll continue, Lord, to touch your people, God, that you'll continue to be the provider of your people, Lord. God, I thank you, Lord. I thank you for every need being met. Oh God, for every need being supplied. In the name of Jesus, I thank you, Lord. I thank you that we shall not lack and we shall not want. Because the Lord is our shepherd. We shall not beg. Oh God, but if you have to open up the windows of heaven to pour us out of blessing, God, we believe that you'll do just that, Lord. We believe that you'll take care of us, Father, even if you have to reign manna from on high. Oh God, you'll take care of us, God. I thank you, Lord. I thank you for giving that individual peace, Lord, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, thank you for peace that surpasseth all understanding. Oh God, may it be well with their souls. Oh God, may their trust, oh God, carry them through. Oh God, hard times, oh God, carry them through hard moments, Father, in the name of Jesus. But God, we look to you to show up for them and to show out for them as the God of their salvation. Oh Lord, I'm praying for healing today. Oh God, healing, Lord, healing of the mind and healing of the body. Oh God, I'm praying for healing today. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, touch those that are struggling with arthritis. Oh God, touch those that are struggling with kidney failure. Oh God, touch those that are struggling, oh God, with glucose issues. God, touch those that are struggling, oh God. Oh Lord, with issues with their heart, oh God, issues with their eyes, Lord. Oh God, many are falling sick in this season to the flu, to pneumonia, to COVID, oh God. Oh Lord, to viruses. Oh God, I pray, Lord, I pray for healing in the name of Jesus for that one that might be sick. And God, I'm praying that you'll sustain those that are not sick. Oh God, sustain them and keep them well, Father. In the Abaso, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, you're able to do it. Oh God, we pray today. We pray that you'll have your way, good Father. That you'll have your way, good Father. Oh God, all of this week we've been trusting you. Trusting you in the midst of chaos. Trusting you, oh God, in the midst of things not looking good. Trusting you, God, that you have a perfect design, a perfect blueprint for our lives. Oh, we've been trusting, oh God. Oh God, I pray, Lord, oh God, that our faith, Lord, would manifest some things, Lord, due to the fact that we are trusting you. Oh God, give us to see. Oh God, you work a miracle. Oh God, in response to our faith, in response to our trusting you. Oh God, we pray that you'll do it in the name of Jesus. Oh God, we're thanking you, Lord. Thanking you for divine transformation. Thanking you, God, that we are new creatures in Christ. Thanking you, God, that we're transformed into the image and the likeness of Christ. Oh God, we thank you, Lord. Thank you for the example that you've shown to us. Oh God, how you showed us how to act. How you showed us what to do. Oh God, I pray for the strength, Lord. The strength, Lord. Oh God, to walk more like Christ today. Oh God, where we would find ourselves in the past, telling other people off, Lord. Where we would find ourselves in the past, Lord. Oh God, falling into depression when things don't go like what we want them to go. Oh Father, I pray, I pray, Lord, that you'll transform us, God, in such a way that we handle these situations different than we used to. Oh God, let there have been growth, Father. In the name of Jesus. Growth and transformation. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we need you. We need you to refine our character. Oh God, we need you to purify our hearts. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we want to be people of good character. Oh God, we don't want to be people, Lord, that are all about self. But God help us to be people of good character. Oh God, people that love others. Oh God, people that will do the work of the Lord. People of integrity. Oh God, refine our character, oh God. Refine our character, God. In the name of Jesus. God, purify our motives, God. Oh God, help us to not just do everything for selfish reasons. Help us to not just do things to benefit only ourselves. But God, we pray this morning that you'll give us a heart like yours. Oh God, your heart is concerned about others. Your heart loves others, oh God, with an unconditional love. Oh God, give us that type of a heart today. In the name of Jesus, oh God, a heart that can't stand to see others suffering. A heart that will do all it can, Lord, to help someone else. Oh God, a heart, Lord, hallelujah, that will do the will of the Father. Oh God, give us that type of a heart in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank and praise you. I praise you for your people, God, and I pray that you'll cover them and protect them as they go throughout their day. Cover them and protect them and their children and their loved ones. In the name of Jesus, keep them from dangers, seen and unseen. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, your blood prevail, God, over the people of God. Your blood prevail here in the earth, Father. In the name of Jesus. Oh God. Oh God, your blood prevail over every political issue, God, every social issue, every international issue. Oh God, your blood prevail in the name of Jesus. Oh God, we pray for those that have lost their homes, that have lost their businesses in Jamaica. Oh God, we're praying, Lord. Oh God, that you'll restore. Oh God, that you'll give them back better than what they had before. In the name of Jesus. Thank you for supplying, Lord, the food and the clothing and the shelter that they need as they transition. Oh God, we thank you. Oh God, I'm asking that you'll do it for them, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we pray, Lord, that your name will be glorified. Oh God, your name be glorified even through us today. In the name of Jesus. Thank God and amen. Hallelujah. We thank the Lord. We thank the Lord for prayer. And our devotional today is called Shaped into Christ's likeness. Our scripture, and we all are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory. Second Corinthians 3 and 18. Every situation, good or bad, carries a shaping purpose. Instead of asking why me, start asking, How is this forming Christ in me? God's ultimate goal is not our comfort, but our Christ likeness. Every delay grows patience. Every disappointment deepens dependence. And every blessing teaches gratitude. Transformation isn't accidental, it's divine craftsmanship. And the prayer here is Jesus, and every joy and trial shapes me to look more like you, refine my character, purify my motives, and use every circumstance to mirror your heart. Amen. So we are thanking the Lord. Thanking the Lord for shaping us into his likeness. I love that part that talks about that transformation is divine craftsmanship. Amen. This is another uh point from our, well, another point from Pastor Mark Bayman Jr.'s I having issues talking this morning. Another point from Pastor Mark Bayman Jr.'s sermon on Sunday. So we thank the Lord. We thank the Lord that he is shaping us into the image of Christ. That Christ is not done with us, but he's yet transforming us. And he is yet building character in us and refining us. Amen. And so I thank the Lord for each of you that are on the line today. Thank the Lord for the subtle family on the line. Thank God for you, for you prayer warriors that hang out with us and continue to pray with us. We thank the Lord. We thank the Lord because I realize that the effectual prayers of the righteous availh much, even those prayers that are being prayed for me. And I thank God for you that do that, that pray for me and help me to keep going. Amen. I thank the Lord for the Healing Word family. Thanking God for them. Thanking God for Pastor Mark. And I thank the Lord for those that will listen to the podcast later on. I pray that you are blessed. I pray that you are blessed. You can send your prayer request to Jay Baeman at Healing Word.org. Healing dashword dot or G. Amen. And you can also get our uh devotional in its entirety at Healing WordC-O-G-I-C on our Facebook and our Instagram page. Amen. God bless each one of you. We will actually be returning this evening for evening prayer at 6 uh I'm sorry, at 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time here on the conference line. And Pastor Mark Bayman Jr. will be leading us in prayer. God bless you and have a wonderful day.
