What if the power you’ve been missing isn’t gone—it’s just misaligned? We begin with Matthew 22:37 and move straight into a heart-level reset: worship that recenters our love, prayer that softens what’s grown hard, and a practical path back to first things. Rather than skating past pain, we name it—resentment, pride, the pull for approval—and invite God to do surgery on motives that have drifted. The goal is simple and demanding: love God with all we are, so obedience flows from desire and peace stops flickering.

Together we walk through the work of forgiveness when hurt is real and justice feels overdue. We hand vengeance back to God and ask for grace to release those who wronged us, not because they deserve it, but because freedom is the only way forward. Then we intercede for needs that press on Monday hearts: provision for those missing paychecks, comfort for families facing benefit uncertainty, strength for the incarcerated seeking hope, and protection over our children. We also ask boldly for physical healing, trusting the Holy Spirit to touch the exact places that ache.

Finally, we submit our weekly plans and adopt a simple devotional practice—a heart check that asks what’s truly driving us. If love for comfort, money, or approval has taken the top spot, we turn back. If “the power has gone out,” we realign with God so He can trust and use us again. This is a warm, honest, faith-forward start to the week, built on repentance, renewal, and expectancy. If you’re ready for clarity and a clean heart, press play and begin again with us. Subscribe, share with a friend who needs a reset, and leave a review to help others find their way back to first love.

Oh God, you said that if we love you, God, hallelujah, that we won't stray away. We won't stray away. We won't choose our own path. We won't go after the thing that is not godly. So God, truly, we need you to fix our hearts. Oh God, truly, we need you. Oh God, to fix it, oh God, to fix our hearts, Lord. Oh God, where the world has contaminated our desires. Oh God, where the world has given us, Lord. Hallelujah. Oh God, to look at everybody else and to look what everybody else is doing. Oh God, and to desire what everybody else has. Oh God, give us a heart, Lord. Oh God, that is not that way, Father. Oh God, give us a heart, Lord, that seeks after the things of God first. Oh God. To be angry with somebody else. Have every right, Lord. Oh God. Oh God. To not want to talk to the person. Have every right, Lord, because they have genuinely done us wrong. Genuinely done our loved ones wrong. Oh God. But Lord, you told us, Lord, oh God, that we must forgive. We must forgive to be forgiven, Lord. Oh God, help us. Help our hearts, God, to come to the place, Lord, where we're able, Lord, to hire, to extend grace, oh God, to the one that hurt us, God. To extend grace, God, to the one that doesn't deserve it. Oh God, they're guilty. Oh God, they did wrong towards us. Oh God, they meant to do wrong towards us. It was their intention to hurt us. It was their intention, oh God. But Lord, you told us, Lord, to let vengeance be yours and that you would repay it, God. And you told us, God, to forgive, Lord. Oh God. Oh God. You told us in your word. You told us in your word, Lord. Oh God, that you wanted us, Lord, to turn the other cheek, oh God, that you wanted us to forgive those that transpass against us, Lord. Oh God, that you want us, oh God, to set them free, oh God. To set them free, oh God, in our minds, God, to set them free, God, from the thing that they've done to us, Lord. Oh God, I pray that your help, Lord. Help us, God, heal our hearts, heal us from what they've done. Oh God, and give us the strength, Lord, to begin to forgive them, Lord, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, oh Jesus, help us to do it, Lord. Help us to do it, Lord. God, we don't want unforgiveness to stand in the way of our relationship with you. God, we don't want unforgiveness to keep us out of heaven. So God, I pray, I pray, God, that you'll strengthen your people today. Oh God, to release those hiahosiahosia. To release those that have done them wrong, Lord, and to forgive them. Oh God, to forgive them, Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. They don't deserve forgiveness. Nor did we. Nor did we. We don't deserve forgiveness. Oh God, we've trespassed against you. We've transgressed. We've done the wrong thing. Oh God. We've done wrong things even to others, oh God, even past just our walk with you. Oh God. So God, I pray that you'll give us the strength, oh God. The strength of heart, Lord. Oh God, to forgive today. In the name of Jesus. Let us not bring this thing one more day. Let us not bring this thing into a new week. Let us not bring this thing any further in our walk with you. But God give us to forgive in the name of Jesus. Oh God. Oh God. Help us today. Help us today. Oh God. Some of us search for the approval of other people. And we do things, oh God, so that they'll love us. So that others will approve of us, God. But Lord, I pray that you'll set our heart right. That we search for your approval above everybody else's, God. That we search to please you, God. That we seek to please you, God. Oh Lord, being the be the driving desire of our heart, Lord. Be the driving desire of our heart, Lord. Be the driving, yadama, yebalama, yadana do see. Be the driving desire of our heart, Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Create in us a clean heart, God. Create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Create in us, God, a clean heart, a clean heart, a clean heart, God, and renew a right spirit within us, God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, your word lets us know that if our hearts are contaminated, hallelujah, that we won't have a right spirit. Oh God, if our hearts are contaminated, God, hallelujah. Hallelujah, we'll hurt other people. Hallelujah, we'll hurt others because our heart is not right. God, create in us a clean heart and renewal right spirit within us. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, that's our prayer. That's our focus for today. Oh God, I pray, Lord, I pray even now for every federal worker, Lord, every individual that has been missing a paycheck, Lord. Oh God, I thank you because you're yet the supplier of our needs. You're yet God. You're yet God. You're yet God. You're still God. You're still the one that sits on the throne. Oh God, I pray for their provision today. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Lord, I pray for that individual that's incarcerated today. Hallelujah. That individual that's incarcerated, that came in on the prayer line, that came in on the podcast. I pray their strength. I pray that you'll continue to grow them in their walk with you. Oh God, I pray this morning. I pray, God, for every individual that is sitting uncertain. Hallelujah, because their snap benefits are being affected. Oh God, I pray, I pray that they not miss one meal. I pray that they not miss one meal, God. But God, I pray that you'll show yourself to be God, to show yourself to be the God that takes care of his people in the midst of drought, that takes care of his people in the midst of shortages. Oh God, show yourself to be strong. Show yourself to be mighty in the name of Jesus. I pray, God, that at the start of this week that you will cover our children and our grandchildren and our loved ones under your blood. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, cover them and keep them, Lord. Cover them, God. Cover them, Lord. Oh God, keep them from evil. In the name of Jesus, I cancel the assignment of the enemy that comes against them in the name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus prevail now. The blood of Jesus cover them. Cover them and hide them from the enemy. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray for every individual, hallelujah, that is going through pain and suffering in their body, that is going through sickness in their body. I pray your healing hand, God, begin to touch them. I pray even now that they even begin to feel warmness where the Holy Spirit is touching in the name of Jesus. Holy Spirit, touch the spot, touch the place that hurts. Heal the place that hurts. In the name of Jesus. Heal in the name of Jesus. We thank you for praise reports. Because God, you are all powerful. You are the healer of the body. And so, God, we lift up every ache, every pain, every disease, every disorder. Hallelujah. Everything that ails the body. Oh, yabba. We lift it up, God, and we say, Lord, you're able to heal it today. Heal in the name of Jesus. And we'll be prayabas, praising you and thanking you for it. Oh God, I pray, Lord. I pray, God, that at the start of this week, Lord, that you'll give us an agenda, that you'll give us what you want us to do. That you'll give us, Lord, what you need us to do, Father. Help us to be open and to hear what it is you'd have us to do. Help us to be open and to hear what it is you need for us to do. In the name of Jesus, we submit our plans to you, God. And Lord, we ask that you'll have your way. God, I'm asking all of these things in Jesus' mighty name. Thank God and amen. Thank God and Amen. Hallelujah. I thank God for the start of another week. Hallelujah. Mondays are tough for many people. Many people complain about Mondays. There are several jokes about how hard Monday is and how people dread Monday because it tends to be the start of a work week for many people. But even in the midst of that, we're grateful to God for having a place of employment. We're thankful to God for continuing to make a way out of nowhere, to provide provision for us. We're thankful to the Lord. Hallelujah. Our devotional this week and even our prayer points this week all coincide with the word that was received at Healing Word Ministries this Sunday. Pastor Mark Bayman Jr. preached a message called The Power Has Gone Out. The power has gone out. We don't hear about the same types of healings that we used to hear about. We don't hear about the exploits that were done, hallelujah, even a few years ago. And so we are looking as as way as a way forward. We're beginning to look at how we can realign ourselves with God so that God can trust us and use us like He wants to use us. And so the first place where we're starting this week is with our heart. We were praying that God will fix our heart. Our devotional today is called Time for a Heart Check. It reads, Every now and then we need to check what's really driving our heart. Is it love for God or love for comfort, money, or approval? When other things take the top spot, our peace flickers. Take a quiet moment to ask God to show you where your focus has drifted. Real joy returns when He's first again. Amen. Amen. We thank the Lord for our devotional this morning. It's just admonishing us to begin to put God first. And sometimes we don't even notice. Sometimes we can allow God to slip out of the place of first just because of the way that life claims our attention. Hallelujah. But this week, this day, we're taking a minute to notice. We're taking a minute to actually ask ourselves what drives me to do what I'm doing? What drives me to do what I'm doing? What are my motives? Is my motive really to please God? Is my is my motive really the upbuilding of his kingdom? What is my motive here? Amen. And so we thank the Lord for taking a minute to observe it and praying for God to fix whatever might be out of alignment. Amen. Because I don't know about you, but I am not living this life. I'm not living this life to end up going before the Lord and the Lord saying, Depart from me, I know you not. I'm looking to hear God say, Well done. So if I need to forgive someone, if I need to realign my heart so that it is pleasing to God, that's exactly what I plan on doing. And I pray that that is your conviction also. Amen. And so we thank the Lord for the devotional today. I thank God for each one of you, our podcast listeners, our prayer warriors that come in on the morning prayer. I give a shout out to the Suttles family. God bless you. God bless you. Thank you so much for your continued support and your continued prayer. I also honor the Lord for Pastor Mark Bayman Jr., the pastor and the visionary of Healing Word Ministries. And I thank the Lord for the Healing Word family. Amen. All right. Well, we will return tomorrow. We'll return on Tuesday if the Lord is willing. God bless you, and I pray that you have a prosperous day.
