When prayer feels small and life feels loud, a simple pattern can steady everything. We turn to Acts 2:42 and rebuild the rhythms that guard our peace: teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer. From a rising chorus of praise to focused intercession, we lean into the truth that prayer is not empty air—it is work that moves where our hands cannot, reshaping our inner world and the spaces we inhabit.

We get honest about the struggle to love Scripture and offer clear steps to make it approachable. Choose an understandable translation, read smaller portions with purpose, and pair your reading with a short, honest prayer for wisdom. We also talk about fasting and boundaries as protective practices, not mere duties: they quiet the noise, clear the mind, and keep the heart centered. Along the way, we pray for those facing depression, anxiety, and overwhelming situations—asking for peace of mind, help in practical needs, and covering over families, schools, and travel.

What emerges is a practical rule of life you can start today: a morning prayer window, a midday Scripture pause, a weekly fast, and connection with trusted people who speak truth. We confront fear and doubt with faith rooted in God’s character—omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent—and we expect real help to arrive in real ways. If you need a reset, this conversation offers clarity, courage, and next steps. Subscribe, share with a friend who needs hope, and leave a review with the one rhythm you’ll start this week.

Good morning, people of God. God bless you. Today is uh November twelfth, two thousand and twenty-five. Thankful to the Lord for being here this morning, being here to pray with you. Um, our scripture for today is uh Acts, the second chapter and the forty-second verse. It reads, they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship and to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2 and 42. They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship and to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Amen. And so we're going to uh pray this morning that the Lord will give us to be devoted to the things of God. Amen. And so we're going to begin in prayer this morning, giving the Lord all the glory, hallelujah. Hallelujah. We give him all the praise, we give him all the honor. It's all due him. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Come on and lift up your praise this morning. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. We praise you, Lord. We uplift your name. We exalt you. Hallelujah. We exalt you, Lord. We lift you high, O God. We lift you high, Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. There is no greater name. Hallelujah. Your name is great in all the earth. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Oh God, we worship your name. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Ayah Babasia. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Oh God, we feel you even in our praise, God. Hallelujah. You're worthy, O worthy, oh worthy, oh worthy. You're worthy, oh worthy, God. Aya Mamasul. Aya Vasia. Your worthy God. Hallelujah. Oh bless your name, Lord. Bless your wonderful name. Bless your matchless name. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. We rose this morning to thank you. We rose this morning to pray. We rose this morning to sacrifice time to you. Hallelujah. God, we want you to have your way, Lord. Hallelujah. God, we want you to be pleased in our prayer time. Oh God, hallelujah. Oh Lord, word our lips and give us the words of prayer. Give us to pray effectively. Give us to pray a fervent prayer, God. Oh God, give us to pray, Lord, the will of the Father in the name of Jesus. Ay, ayah, na, na see, ba ba bohoya. Oh, have your way, Lord. Have your way, Lord. We want you to have your way, Lord. We want you to have your way, Lord. We say yes, Lord. We say yes, Lord. We say yes. Hallelujah. We say yes, Lord. Yes to your will, God. Yes to your will, Lord. Yes to your will, Lord. Yes to your will, Lord. Oh, have your way, God. Hallelujah. Oh Jesus, we thank you, Lord. Thank you for today. Thank you for the moments, oh God, that you are gifting us and blessing us with. Oh God, we thank you. We thank you, Lord. Hallelujah. We could have been dead in our graves. Oh God, we could have continued to sleep on into eternity. But Lord, we thank you for waking us this morning. We thank you, God, for giving us a mind. Oh God, to get up and pray. For giving us a mind to get up and sit in your presence. Oh God, for giving us a mind to seek you, Lord. Oh God, we thank you for the mind. Thank you. Ayabas. Thank you for the mind and the desire to press God. The mind and the desire to go after you, Lord. I thank you, Lord. I thank you, Lord. I declare the word of God over every individual that is on the line, every individual that turns on the podcast on. Oh God, I declare, Lord, the word of God where it says that if we seek you, oh God, we shall find. Oh God, if we knock, God, the door will be open to us. Oh God, we seek you, Lord. We seek you, Lord. And we declare that we'll find you. Oh God, we're knocking on the door. Oh God, we're knocking on the door. And we believe, Lord, that you'll open the door. That you'll answer prayer, God. Oh God, we speak that even now, Lord. Oh God, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you, Lord. I thank you that it just seems as if, Lord, that prayer is just words falling from our mouths. But God, I thank you, Lord, for the power in prayer. For the power, oh God, in prayer. God, we thank you, Lord, that the effectual, fervent prayers of the righteous avail as much, God. Oh God, we thank you, God, that our prayer, oh God, is going and ascending, oh God, ascending before the throne of grace. Oh God, we thank you, Lord, that our prayers, oh God, are beginning to be written on the mercy seat. Oh God, I thank you, Lord, that our prayers, oh God, are being heard. Oh God, by a merciful God, by a God, the God of all creation, by the one true living God. I thank you, Lord, that you're hearing our prayers. I thank you that you're answering our requests. I thank you, Lord, that our prayers, oh God, are shifting the atmosphere of our lives, are shifting the atmosphere of our neighborhood, are shifting the atmosphere of our community. Our prayers are shifting the atmosphere, God. Oh God, in our regions, oh God, in our country, oh God. Oh God, our prayers are shifting the atmosphere. Oh God, all around the world and in the earth. Oh God, our prayers. Oh God. Oh God, you've given us to be the salts of the earth. Oh God, you've given us, Lord, hallelujah. Oh God, to be lamps, oh God. Oh God, to be lamps, oh God, that show others the way. Oh God, I thank you today that our prayers, hallelujah, Ayamashia, our prayers availeth much. Our prayers avail it much. Our prayers are fighting, oh God. Our fighting where our fists are too short, where our arms are too short, God. Our fist, Hayama, oh God. Our prayers are yet fighting for us. And God, I thank you. I thank you this morning. I thank you for the power of prayer. Oh God, I thank you for your presence here this morning. I thank you for it, Lord. Oh God, I pray. I pray, Lord, that you'll give us, Lord. Oh God, to have, oh God, consistent prayer habits. Oh God, I pray, Lord, that you'll give us Lord, to have, Lord, devotion towards you, God. Devotion towards the things of God. Oh Lord, learning to do, oh God, those things that promote our spiritual growth. Oh God, we thank you, Lord. Oh God, for giving us a heart for the word of God. Oh God, I thank you, Lord, for the word of God. It can seem to be so intimidating to some. Oh God, hallelujah. Some look at the book, oh God. And Lord, it's intimidating. And they struggle, oh God, to love the word. They struggle, oh God, to understand the word. But God, I pray, I pray specifically for that individual today. I pray, Lord, hallelujah, that they'll find refuge in the word of God. I pray, God, hallelujah, that you'll open their understanding, open their spiritual eyes, open their spiritual ears. Oh God, that when they pick up the word of God, when they read the word of God, when they listen to the word of God, oh God, that it begins to take root in their hearts in the name of Jesus. Oh God, oh Jesus, I pray that you'll remove, oh God, the fear of the enemy. Oh God, that causes them to feel that they can't understand the word that causes them to feel and to fear, hallelujah, being inadequate. But God, I thank you, Lord, that you left the word of God for us. Oh God, I thank you, Lord, that if you gave it to us, God, oh God, then we're able to digest it. If you gave it to us, God, hallelujah, then it is for us. And you provide the way for us to understand. And you open our eyes to the word. Oh God, I pray for that individual. Oh God, to begin to love the word. I pray for that individual. I pray, God, that they'll find. Oh God, the translation that they can understand. I pray, God, Lord, that you'll help them, oh God. Oh Lord, to go from a place, Lord, of dreading reading their Bible. Oh God, to a place of where they love reading the word, where they love hearing the word. When they find themselves doing it in their free time. Oh God, I pray that you'll do it. I pray, God, that you'll kindle a relationship between us and the word of God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you, Lord, for growing us in the word. Oh God, not just to be a wonder. Oh God, not just to quote scripture and to look like we know something. Oh God, but for us to not be deceived in these last days. For us to be equipped, oh God, as servants of the Most High God. Oh Lord, for us to understand what it is that you have said about a thing. Oh God, for us to understand what our Savior, what our master would have us to do. Oh God, I thank you, Lord. I thank you for godly wisdom. Oh God, beginning to rest on the lives of us as we begin to get further and deeper into your word in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you for healing. Oh God, taking place as we get into the word of God. Oh God, I thank you, Lord. Hallelujah. Oh God, your word, Lord, is powerful, Lord. Your word is life, God. Your word is light to us. Oh God, I thank you, Lord. For opening up our understanding as never before. Oh God, even for those, oh God, that are fervent readers of the word. I pray that you'll open up their understanding at another level, God. Give them great revelation from the word. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray that you'll open up their understanding in ways that has never been, oh God. Give them to hear your voice clearly in the pages of the book. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray, Lord, that you'll help us, Lord, to take on righteous habits, God. Oh God, the habit of fasting, the habit of sustaining, hallelujah. Abstaining. The habit of abstaining, oh God, from food, oh God, from abstaining, from things that taint our spiritual growth. Oh God, conversations, people, oh God, consecrating our lives, God. Consecrating our lives that we may hear your voice, that we may understand what is the will of God for our life. That we may understand, hallelujah, the assignment, Lord, that you've given to each one of us in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you. I thank you for giving us to be devoted to you. Thank you for giving us to be devoted to you. Oh God, thank you, Lord. Thank you for cleaning our hearts this week. Thank you for cleaning our hearts, God. Thank you for setting them towards you, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Thank you for setting our affections towards you, God. Oh Lord, I thank you for it. Oh God, I pray this morning that shall have your way, that shall move mightily, Lord, in the lives of those. Those that are on the prayer line, God. Those that are in the podcast, Lord. Oh God, some tuned in, God. Some found prayer, God, because they're going through tough situations. They're going through situations that they've never been through before. Oh God, some are in the fight of their life, God. Oh God, some struggled, oh God. Oh God, just to make it through the night. Oh God, some struggled, oh God. Oh God, to make it through depressions today, oh God. Oh Lord, some may be contemplating suicide. Oh God, I pray that you'll work on the mind. In the name of Jesus, cover the mind, God. In the name of Jesus. Change the perspective, Father. In the name of Jesus, we speak life, oh God, over these people. In the name of Jesus, I speak life in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I speak life in the name of Jesus. I speak, oh God, oh Lord, that they shall live and not die. And declare the works of the Lord. Oh God, I speak this morning. Hallelujah. Oh God, peace in their minds. Peace in their bodies. In the name of Jesus. Peace over their situations, God. Oh Lord, help for those that need help, God. Oh God, someone tuned in because they need help, God. Oh, some tuned in because they don't know what to do. I thank you, Lord, for downloading answers to them. Oh God. Oh God, send answers to prayer, oh God. Send answer to prayer, God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, you can send an angel, God. Oh Lord, you can send a person to bless them. Oh God, you're able, oh Lord. And I thank you, Lord, for attending to the need. Oh God, the need. The need that's pulling on us this morning. Oh God, I pray that you'll attend to the need. In the name of Jesus, attend to the need of that single mother today. Oh God, attend to the need of that one that's in the hospital today. Oh God, attend to the need of that person that's behind bars today. Oh God, attend to the need, Father. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, one by one and name by name. God, I love you. Ayabastaya. I love you that you're omnipresent. I love you that you're everywhere at the same time. I love you that you're omniscient, oh God. I love you because that means you know. You know about each and every one of us. Specifically, God, each and every one of our issues at the same time. You know about them, God. And because you're omnipotence, oh God, you're all powerful, God, you can address all of our issues at the same time if you so choose, God. Oh God, I thank you. I thank you, God, for going to where they are, fulfilling the need, Lord, for lifting the hung down head, God, in the name of Jesus. Ananamassoya. In the name of Jesus, I thank you, God. Oh Lord, you're able. Oh Lord, you're able. You're still a doctor in the sick room. You're still a lawyer in the courtroom. Oh God, you never fail. Oh God, you never fail. God, you never fail. And we thank you this morning. We thank you, God, that whatever the need be, oh God, whatever it is, God, that you're able to go in, God, and do just that. Not only are you able to do just that, God, but you're able to do exceeding abundantly above what we ask, what we think, God. You're able to blow our minds in the situation. So God, I pray that you'll do that for your people. In the name of Jesus. Oh God. Oh Ya Lava Son, I love our Hosia, Lalla. Oh God, see, oh God, the need. See the condition of the heart. See the need, God, in the name of Jesus, and hear our prayer this morning. Oh God, I cancel the assignment of the enemy. I bind the spirit of doubt, the spirit of unbelief. I bind you in the name of Jesus. I bind the spirit of fear in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I bind it in the name of Jesus. That spirit that causes us to worry all night long. That spirit that causes us to overthink the situation. I bind you in the name of Jesus. And I declare that God has it all under control. I declare that God has it all in his hand. Oh God, I declare that God knows. He knows all about it. He knows all about it. And he's working it out for our good. I declare it in the name of Jesus. We speak face over fear in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you today. I thank you, Lord, and I love you today. Oh God, cover your people under your blood, God. Protect them, oh God, as they go and as they come. Protect their loved ones as they go and as they come. Oh God, cover the schools, God. In the name of Jesus, your blood prevail there. Your blood prevail at the bus stops. Your blood prevail, oh God, over the transportation. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord, and we love you. We love you, God. We ask all of these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus. Thank God and amen. Thank God and amen. Hallelujah. We thank the Lord for another time of prayer. Hallelujah. I'm encouraged. Hallelujah. I'm encouraged when I think about an all-powerful God, an all-present God. Hallelujah. The God that we serve being in our lives and being for us. It is so encouraging. Hallelujah. Our God is so God that He knows about everything that we're going through, everything we're thinking, all at the same time. He hears all of our prayers all at the same time. And he knows. And not only does he know, he's all powerful. So he can take care of it all, all at the same time. Hallelujah. He can do it all, all at the same time, and that blows my mind. But not only does it blow my mind, it increases my faith. And I pray that it does the same for you today. Amen. Going into our devotional, our scripture was Acts the second chapter in the 42nd verse in the New International Version of the Bible. They devoted themselves and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. The uh devotional reads, protect your peace. Boundaries protect blessings. Prayer, fasting, reading scripture, and having trusted people in your life aren't just religious duties. They're spiritual safeguards. They keep your heart centered and your mind clear. Protect your peace by building daily rhythms to keep you close to God. Amen. So we want to have daily rhythms. We want to have more than just the spiritual habits, the spiritual duties of prayer, of fasting, of reading scripture, you know, having people that we trust in our lives. But we want to understand that those are also the things that keep us safe. They keep us spiritually safe. Amen. So we're protecting our peace today. We're protecting our peace by doing even as the apostles did, uh the people of God in the early church did. They devoted themselves to the teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, to prayer. They devoted themselves there, they spent time there. Hallelujah. And that allowed them to grow in grace. Amen. And that is my heart's desire for each of us that we grow in grace and that we do what it is that God would have us to do. Amen. So I thank God for each one of you. Shout out to the Settles family. God bless you. Thank you for your continued support, your continued prayers. Love you. And we thank the Lord for Pastor Mark Bayman Jr., the pastor and the founder of Healing Word Ministries and the Healing Word Family. Amen. I thank God for all of you, even those that are on the prayer line, those that are listening to the podcast later. I thank God for you and for your uh just your consistency, your consistent support. I thank God. And so we will return tomorrow if the Lord is willing. Amen. Prayer tonight. So prayer is normally on Wednesday nights. We will not have prayer tonight. We're moving prayer to Thursday night at 7 this week. So tomorrow we will be in prayer, in evening prayer at 7 p.m. with Pastor Mark Baeman Jr. All right, and so I'll send out a text message to those that continue to be within that prayer group just to remind them that we will not be there tonight later on, but we'll be here later tomorrow evening. But we shall be there for morning prayer at 6 a.m. if the Lord delay is coming. Amen. A lot of information just shared, but a text message will come forth to clarify. All right. God bless you all and have a beautiful day.
