What if the pressure you feel is actually mercy, showing you what needs strength before it breaks? We pray through Matthew 7:27 and unpack a hopeful, practical way to face storms: not by pretending they aren’t real, but by building a foundation that holds when they arrive. From heartfelt worship to honest confession, the journey moves toward peace, clarity, and a quiet confidence that Jesus is in the boat even when the waves are loud.

We talk about how hard seasons reveal weak walls—old habits, unhelpful thinking, and fragile loyalties—and why seeing them is the first step toward healing. You’ll hear prayer for endurance when you want to quit, for joy that returns after a long night, and for the kind of peace that steadies your mind. We also lean into healing, asking God to touch bodies worn by stress and lift the mental fog that steals focus. Along the way, we anchor to core truths: storms hit every house, but foundations decide outcomes; refining removes what drains value; and small faith can still move you forward.

Our hearts turn to the next generation, covering kids and teens with prayer and practical support. We share a community initiative pairing sport with scripture to grow skill, character, and faith, because guidance and belonging can redirect a life. We close with a concise devotional: let the wind show you what needs reinforcement, because God prepares, strengthens, and refines his people through the very weather that once felt like defeat.

If this encouraged you, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs strength today, and leave a review to help others find hope in their storm.

Opening Prayer And Scripture

SPEAKER_00

Good morning. Welcome to Morning Prayer. Today is November 18th, 2025, and we're thankful to the Lord for this day. Our scripture today is Matthew the seventh chapter, and the 27th verse. We're still talking about that solid foundation. And so on Matthew the seventh chapter, the twenty-seventh verse in the NIV version it reads, And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, and it fell. And great was the fall of it. Amen. The rain descended, the floods came, the winds blew and beat upon that house, and it fell. And great was the fall of it. Amen. And our prayer this morning is that God will give us direction in the midst of the storm. Amen. Hallelujah. Come on, let's just fill the room with the praise of our God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. You're exalted. Hallelujah. Forever you are the King of Kings. Forever you're my King. Forever you're our King. Hallelujah, Lord. We cast down our crowns and we worship you. We worship you, Lord. There is none higher than you. There is none higher. There is none beside you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. You are the great I am. You are the great I am. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Ayabasata Bahia. You reign in victory, God. You reign in victory. Hallelujah. And we lift up your mighty name. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. We call you provider. We call you healer. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. We call you Almighty. Hallelujah. Great are you, Lord, and we love you. We love you. We love you. Have your way, Lord. Oh God, we thank you, Lord, even as we have lifted up your name this morning. We thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord, hallelujah, for how good you've been in our lives. We thank you, God, because you've been better than what we deserve. You've been better than we can be to ourselves, Lord. And God, we thank you today. We thank you, Lord, hallelujah, for being ever present, for never leaving us, Lord, for never forsaking us, God, even in moments when we didn't care about how you felt. Oh God, you stuck right by us, oh God. You stuck right by us, Lord, and you continue to love us. Oh God, I pray this morning. I pray that you'll create in us a clean heart. I pray that you'll renew a right spirit within us. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray that you'll forgive us of our sins and our iniquities. Wash us and cleanse us, God. Wash us and cleanse us, God. In the name of Jesus, cleanse us from unrighteousness. Oh God, cleanse us from pride. Oh God, cleanse us, oh God, from every destructive behavior, God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we thank you. We thank you this morning for washing us all over again, God. Oh God, cover us under your blood this morning. In the name of Jesus. Wash us in your blood this morning. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we want to be purified and we want to be covered, Lord. We don't want to leave any openings for the enemy, God. But Lord, we thank you for covering us, God, in the name of Jesus. Oh, we thank you, Lord. You said that if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Oh God, we thank you that yesterday's habits were yesterday's habits. Yesterday's downfalls were yesterday's downfalls. But God, today we declare that we are a new creature in Christ. We live in you, oh God. We move in you and we have our being. Oh God, and we are new creatures in you this morning. Oh God, have your way in us, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we're calling on you. Because God, some of us are going through. Some of us are in the midst of a storm. Some of us are in the midst of a dark season. Oh God, I thank you. And then on the flip side, some of us, God, are on our way out of a season. Some of us, Lord, just came out of some things. I thank you, God. I thank you, God, because one thing is certain in this walk, and that is that the storms of life will come. Oh God, you did not promise us, oh God, an easy life. You did not promise us, Lord, that we'd never have to deal with problems. Oh God, but you promised us that you would be with us in the midst of problems, in the midst of hard circumstances. You'd be God with us in the midst of the storm. Oh God, you even showed it to us. Oh God, when you were in the boat with the disciples and the storm came. Oh God, and it seemed as if you didn't care. It seemed as if you were asleep and did not know what was going on. But God, you even showed us, Lord, in that illustration that the storms of life come to the people of God. But that Jesus is yet in the boat with us. That He is yet with us in the midst of the storm. So God, I thank you. I thank you for being the Lord of our storm. Oh God, I thank you for being with us in our storm. Oh God, I pray, Lord, oh God, that shall give us to open our eyes in the midst of the storm. Oh God, give us to not close our eyes, but give us to open our eyes and to see what it is you're showing us in the midst of the storm. Oh God, I thank you that the storms come, Lord, to reveal some things to us, to show us Ayabasata, where there might be cracks in our foundation, to show us, Lord, where there may be relationships that we ought to look at a little bit closer. Oh God, the storms they begin to expose, they begin to blow on our lives and expose and try even the things that are around us. Oh God, I thank you for giving us to open our eyes, Lord, in the midst of the wind, in the midst of the rain, and to see what it is that you're showing us, God. Oh God, the things, Lord, that you're revealing to us. Give us to take note of it in the storm, Lord, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you, Lord, that you're a God that gives discernment, that you're a God that speaks to us. And God, you speak to us, oh God, even by showing us, even by giving us a visual. And so, Lord, I thank you for giving us spiritual eyes to see what thus saith the Lord. For giving us spiritual eyes to see what you're pointing at, God. Oh God, for giving us spiritual eyes that'll give us to see what might end up being destructive to us, what might end up harming us spiritually. Oh God, what might end up in calamity later on. God, I thank you for opening up our spiritual eyes and giving us to see what you're saying, God, as we go through the storm. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray. I pray for keeping power. I pray for staying power for those that are going through the storm. Oh God, the storm is an uncomfortable place. Oh God, it's a hard place to be. Nobody wants to go through the storm. It's a trying time. Nobody wants to go through it. But God, we know that we must. Oh, we must. In order to grow, in order to be what you're calling us to be, we must go through. I pray that you'll give strength to those in the storm. Give them strength right now to go through. Ayah. Oh, I pray the strength of God right now to go through the storm. To go through the storm. Ayamasata. Oh my God. I thank you that they won't die in the storm. Oh God, but that you still have great things ahead. Oh God, you still have hallelujah blessings and favor assigned to their lives. Oh God, give them to not give up in the midst of the storm. Oh God, sometimes we're going through, and it seems that things have been so hard for so long that we feel like just giving up. We feel like just walking away. We feel like we're frustrated. Oh my god. So I pray God. Oh Lord, that shall shake us even now. Shake us from that mindset. In the name of Jesus, help us to realize, hallelujah, that we must continue to press, that we must continue to keep living, that we must continue, hallelujah, to have faith, to have faith, even the grain of mustard seed faith, even just a little bit of faith, so that we can get through the storm in the name of Jesus. Oh, we bind hopelessness today. We bind hopelessness today. We declare. Oh, that there is joy in the morning. We declare that there is joy coming. There is joy coming. Oh, come on and say that out loud. There is joy coming. Oh, weeping may endure for a night. But joy cometh in the morning. There is joy coming. And we thank God for the joy. We thank God that joy is on its way. Oh, we thank God. We thank God. Hallelujah that he's able to even give us peace in the midst of the storm. Oh, he's able to keep our minds even in the midst of the storm. Oh God, grant peace to your people in the midst of the storm. Oh God, grant peace to the mind. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, someone feels forsaken today, like you forgot about them. That you forgot about them, Lord. They've been in the storm so long that they feel like you've forgotten. But God, I thank you that you never forget about your people. We thank you, Lord, that you're the good shepherd. Oh God, and you know where your sheep are. Oh God, you know where your sheep are. I pray that you'll strengthen them today. Oh God, give them to remember that you care. God, give them to see your hand in the midst of the storm. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Oh, I thank you, Lord, that you are with them always. That you're with them even in the storm. Oh God, your word said. Oh God, in the book of Psalms. Oh God, that even if we had a bed made, even in the depths, in the depths of hell, oh God, that you would be with us there. That you cannot leave us, Lord. Oh God, we thank you, Lord. Oh God, for your very present help in the time of trouble. And God, you're a very present help in the midst of the storm. Give us the strength, God, to continue calling on your name. Oh God, help us to continue to exercise our voice, to continue to cry out. Cry out, hallelujah, and say, Lord, help us. Lord save us. Lord help us. Oh God, help us to get through. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you. You're a miracle worker. You're a miracle worker. You're a life changer. Oh God, you're a great deliverer. Oh God, you're a promise keeper. Oh God, you're a truth teller. Oh God, you do not lie. Oh God, but you tell the truth, God. And God, the truth of the matter, Lord, is that you've given us victory, Lord. We thank you for victory, God. Oh God, thank you for victory, Lord. Even over this storm. Oh, we thank you for victory, God. Even over this season of our lives. Oh, we thank you for victory, God. Oh God, I thank you, Lord, for blessing these. Oh God, I thank you, Lord, for moving in their situations. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you. Thank you for your healing power going out today. Oh Lord, tend to the bodies of your people. Touch this morning, God. In the name of Jesus. Oh healers only you can, God. Oh God, do what no other power can do, God. Oh God, heal, Lord. Oh, the blood of Jesus prevail over every disorder, every ache, every pain. The blood of Jesus prevail. Oh God, we receive your healing this morning. Oh, come on and lift up your hands and receive. Oh, your healing this morning. Oh God, we receive a touch from you, God. We receive your healing. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we thank you, Lord. Oh God, for even touching the mind. Touching the mind. Oh, I thank you, Lord, for even lifting, oh God, the fog that is on the mind of your people. Some of us have been going through a fog. Oh, just unable to think clearly. Oh God, I thank you, Lord, for lifting, for lifting it, God, in the name of Jesus, and giving your people to think clearly, giving their minds to be sober. In the name of Jesus, giving their minds, oh God, to begin to reason and to make sense, God. In the name of Jesus. Oh, you're a healer of the mind. You're a healer of the body. You're a healer, God. You're our healer, God. You're our healer, God. You're our healer. And we thank you for healing us, God. We thank you for doing it, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Touch, Lord, in a mighty way. Touch, Lord, in a mighty way. In the name of Jesus, I pray for our youth. I pray for our young people. Oh God, one by one, name by name. Oh God, some of them have found themselves in trouble. Oh God, I pray, Lord, that shall turn their lives around. Give them to find you, God, in the name of Jesus. Give them to hear your voice calling to them, God, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, connect them, Lord. Even to believers, Lord, connect them, God, to the word. In the name of Jesus. God, draw them in. Oh God, the enemy desires to kill our young people. The enemy desires to get to them, even in their young age, to prevent them from maturing into their gifts, from maturing into their calling. But God, I pray, I pray, Lord, that your blood would cover our young people in the name of Jesus. Oh God. I thank you for the next generation. The next generation of preachers and teachers and evangelists, oh God. Thank you for the next generation, God. Oh Shatamanda Bohosia. Oh yes, God. The next generation, even of leaders, God, in the name of Jesus, the next generation, even of world changers, God. God, I thank you for them. I plead the blood for them in the name of Jesus. Oh, there's a mother on the line that's concerned about her child. Ayah Baba, son of God, I pray, Lord. I pray, God, ayana, that you'll loose the bands of wickedness in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray that you'll destroy the yoke of darkness even on the mind of that young person, Lord. Oh God, ayanashaya. It's as if the enemy has closed their ears or stopped up their ears, and they cannot hear those that love them. But even now, Yamana Bako Yababasia, Ayaba Baba Boshaya, oh God, even now, hallelujah, I declare, hallelujah, that their ears and their eyes are becoming open. Open to hearing. Open to hearing. Godly wisdom, open to hearing instruction in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you, Lord. We run to you with everything that concerns us. We run to you and we cast our cares upon you, God. We cast our cares upon you. You're the only one that can do anything about them, God. You're the only one that can solve the unsolvable, that can do the impossible. You're the only one, and God, we bring them to you. We bring them to you because you cannot fail. You will not fail. We bring them to you because you specialize in what seems impossible, in what seems like it cannot be done. Yabashada, O Baba Sata Bah, Hidabasia, Aya da Baso Mama Sia. Oh, I'm reminded of the song. Have you any rivers that seem incrossable? Hallelujah. God specializes in the things that seem impossible. Oh, you specialize and God, we bring them to you. We bring them to you, God, in the name of Jesus. Oh Lord, we're asking, hallelujah. We're asking that you'll be with us, that you'll be close to us today. Keep our minds on you. Keep our hearts stayed on you, Father. And Lord, we'll be so careful to give your name all of the praise and all of the glory in Jesus' name. Thank God and amen. Thank God. Hallelujah. I thank God for the time of prayer that we had this morning. Hallelujah. We've been dealing with a firm foundation, a solid foundation. We've been dealing with foundation since yesterday, which was Monday. We actually started at Healing Word on Sunday. The word that came forth dealt with, hallelujah, still standing for being the type of structure, being the type of vessel that withstands the test of time, that withstands the storms and the rains. Hallelujah. And one thing that we determined on Sunday, one thing that we understood and we looked at is how, hallelujah, in Matthew 7. In Matthew 7, when Jesus is speaking to us, he's telling us about two houses. There was a house that a righteous man built, and there was a house that the unrighteous built. And the Bible says that a storm came and it blew on both houses. And so what that lets us know is that it does not matter if we are saved or not saved. We will go through situations and storms in our lives. The storm came to both houses. Amen. The storm came to both. But they dip, they each had a different outcome. Amen. And so looking at that, that is where our scripture came from today. It's an excerpt from what we talked about on Sunday. And our devotional today is focusing on an aspect of that. And so it reads our devotional reads. I'm sorry, I had it right in front of me, and then it just vanished on me. But if you give me just a second, if you give me a moment, I'll have it. My goodness. All right. Here it is. So Matthew the seventh chapter in the 27th verse reads, And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it. Our devotional today says, When the winds reveal what's weak. So hard seasons don't just test us, they teach us. What feels like pressure is often God's mercy, revealing cracks before they become collapses. The wind exposes weak walls such as unhealthy thinking, old patterns, toxic relationships, misplacing trust. Instead of resenting the storm, let it reveal what needs reinforcement. God never uses storms to destroy his children, only to prepare, strengthen and refine them. Amen. So we thank God that even the storm is a tool that God uses to refine us, to refine us, to get the junk off of us. When we talk about refining something, we're talking about purifying it, getting off of it anything that is impure, getting off of it anything that strips the value away from it. Right? So God is out here allowing the storms of lives to come, the storms of life to come to refine us, to make us stronger, to make us better. Amen. So I pray that that blessed you this morning. It blessed me. I thank the Lord for each and every one of you that have come by this morning, that have gotten on the prayer line. I thank God for you praying with me. I thank God for uh Elder JC Suttles. I thank God for Dr. Suttles this morning. Thank God for each of you. Thank God for you. I also thank the Lord for Pastor Mark Bayman Jr. and the Healing Word family. We thank God for what He's doing in our midst. Uh all of you that are on the line in the Western Massachusetts area. I just want to give a quick announcement. We are starting a faith-based sports league, and the first sport that we'll be doing is indoor soccer. If you have a child that is between the ages of six to eight years old, girl or boy, we would love to work with them so they will get everything that they need to play the game once they register. And at each practice, we'll be teaching them something that deals with the word of God. We'll be doing a devotional with them. And then we'll even be doing a devotional at the games when we have our games. So it becomes something that will build their faith and build their Christian character as well as help them to have the skills to begin a new sport or a sport that they've already played. All right, so we thank the Lord for what he's doing in our midst. You are welcome to register. My information is attached to this broadcast. So feel free to contact me if you would like to register someone. All right, and that is all that I have for you today. That is my announcement. That is everything. We will return tomorrow if the Lord sees fit and delays his coming. God bless you and have a beautiful day.
