Watchfulness isn’t fear—it’s freedom. We start with Luke 21:34 and the honest truth that the cares of life can trap the heart, then move into a grounded, unhurried prayer that walks from praise to surrender. The thread through it all is simple: when we loosen our grip on outcomes, God’s peace has room to hold us.

We share a practical rhythm for heavy days: praise to set the tone, release to unclench control, and the Gethsemane prayer of nevertheless to align desire with purpose. Along the way, we intercede for those battling stress, for loved ones who need saving grace, and for anyone wrestling with a calling that feels too costly. We ask for renewed minds, steady steps for business owners and workers, safety for families and schools, and sweetness over the latter years of our elders. The language stays plain, the requests stay close to real life, and the focus stays on the God who shepherds, restores, and provides.

Our closing devotion, Grace That Holds You Up, reframes resilience: you’re not standing because you never broke, but because grace refused to let the break be the ending. If something in your world won’t budge, we ask for God’s intervention where effort has hit its limit. Come pray through the pressure, practice surrender, and make space for the quiet strength that follows. If this time serves you, subscribe, share it with someone who needs a lighter heart today, and leave a review to help others find the prayer they’ve been looking for.

Welcome And Scripture Focus

SPEAKER_00

Good morning. Welcome to morning prayer. Today is November 19th, 2025. We thank the Lord for all that He has done. We thank the Lord for allowing us to meet here this morning. Our scripture for this morning is Luke, the twenty-first chapter and the thirty-fourth verse. This is the English Standard Version of the Bible. But watch yourself lest your heart be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life. And that they come upon you suddenly like a trap. Amen. But watch yourself lest your heart be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life and that they come upon you like a sudden trap. So we're praying this morning for stress. We're praying that God will relieve and take the burden of stress off of those that are feeling stressed. We're praying and we're guarding ourselves that we not be weighed down by our feelings and by the worries of this life. Amen. Alright, and so let us go before the Lord in prayer this morning. We'll begin with praising the Lord. Hallelujah. Come on, let's praise the Lord. Hallelujah. We praise you for your mightiness. We praise you for your awesomeness. We praise you, God, because you deserve praise. We praise you, God. Hallelujah. Because we're entering into your gates with thanksgiving and into your courts with praise. God, we're giving you the glory. We're giving you all of the credit, Lord. Everything that happened to us that was good. It's because of you. Everything that is about us, oh God, that is virtuous, that is good. It is because of you. Lord, we magnify your name. Hallelujah. We magnify your name. Hallelujah. We enlarge your name, oh God, in this space. We enlarge your name. We speak of how great you are. Nobody is greater than our God. Nobody's bigger than our God. Nobody knows more than our God. Hallelujah. Oh Yahabasa Basia. You're great. Hallelujah. And we give you great praise. We give you our best praise. This morning, we lift our voices to you. We lift our minds to you, God. We lift our hearts to you, Lord. Oh you worthy. Oh ancient of days. We honor you. Ya na na yada basia. We give you praise due to your name, God. Oh Lord, if we had ten thousand tongues, we would be unable to give you the praise that you deserve. You've been that great, God. Oh ya na na ma na myda boa. We thank you, Jesus. Oh, we thank you for all that you've done. For all that you Ya na Ma Labasia for all that you've done. For the times you've held death back. Oh, we thank you. Ya na na na manabasiya. O Rama Neo so. Yenabaso. Oh God, for the times that you've strengthened us. When we were weak, we say thank you. Yaneosia. The times you've made ways when there was no way. Ayada la basora basia. Oh, we thank you, Jesus. Oh, we give you all the praise. We give you all the glory. We give you all the glory. Oh, God, thank you. Thank you. Thank you, God. Oh, come on and tell them thank you. Thank you, God. Thank you, God. We're so grateful, Lord, for what you've done in our lives. Thank you for life. Oh, not just for life. Lord, we thank you for each and every life on this line. Lord, we thank you for our life. We thank you for our life. Oh, God, for the good and the bad. Oh, God, we thank you for every season of our lives. God, we thank you. We say thank you. We thank you today. Oh God, you've been so good and so mindful of us. We have to stop it for a second and be mindful of you and tell you thank you. Oh God. Oh God. Oh God. Your Alpha, oh God, and Omega, beginning and the end. And we thank you, Lord. Oh God, have your way as we're praying this morning. In the name of Jesus. I pray this morning for each and every individual that is weighted down by stress. That is weighted down, God. I pray this morning that you'll lift the burden of stress. In the name of Jesus. God, you did not create us to worry. You did not create us, oh God, to be fearful. You did not create us, oh God. Oh Lord, hallelujah, to constantly be weighed down by the cares of life. God, I pray. I pray that you'll help us. Help us to release every situation to you that is weighing us down. Help us to release it to your hand. Help us to give it to you, Father. In the name of Jesus. Whatever it is, God. Whatever it is, God, help us to give it to you this morning. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, lift the burden and the weight. Lift the burden and the weight. Lift the burden. Lift the burden and the weight, God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, you take control. You have your way. You move in our lives like you want to move. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, give us Lord. Oh God, to become even more flexible to your will. Give us, Lord, to become even more flexible to your way. In the name of Jesus. Oh, sure, there are things that we want. And there's a certain way that we feel that we need it to happen. But God, I pray, I pray this morning that you'll begin to allow us to become more flexible. Oh God, begin to allow us to say things like, Any way you bless me, I'll be satisfied. Any way you do it, I'll be satisfied. Help us to take our hands off of trying to control everything. Because God, truly, it is stressing us out. Oh God, help us to take our hands off of trying to do everything ourselves. Because God, it is stressing us out. Oh God, I pray this morning that you'll begin to allow us to say, oh, that the safest place in the world is in the will of God. Oh, help us to begin to say that God knows best. God knows best. Our Father, He knows best. Help us to say, nevertheless, not my will, but thy will be done. Help us to say, nevertheless, have your way, God. Help us to pray and say, God, this is what I'd like to happen, but nevertheless, not my will, but your will be done. Oh God, you showed us Jesus and you showed us that he was toiling, oh God, with what was to come, oh God. He was toiling, oh God, with the work of the cross. He knew he must endure pain. He knew he must endure embarrassment. He knew he must endure those things to complete his assignment. You showed us, oh God, in the Garden of Gethsemane that he toiled with that thing. Oh God, but he got on his knees and he prayed. And he turned his face to heaven. And he prayed. And the Bible says he would pray about Siah. He was so weighted down. He was so full, oh God. So full, oh God, with what was to come, Lord. Oh God, that he prayed until drops of blood, hallelujah, were coming, oh God, as sweat, oh God. Oh Lord, I thank you. I thank you because you showed us with him. Oh God, that even though, Lord, even though we struggle with the future, even though we toil with the future, you showed us, God, that the way to relief, oh God, is to pray. And to pray until we get to that place where Jesus got to, where he said, nevertheless, not my will, not my will, not my will, but your will be done in the name of Jesus. Nevertheless, God. Nevertheless, God. Nevertheless, God. Not my will, God. Oh, not my will, God. Not our will, God, not our will, God, but the will of God be done. The will of God be established. The will of God come to life in our situations. In the name of Jesus. Have your way, God. Have your way, God. Oh God, we have a way that we feel that we want to see it happen in our minds. Oh God, we have a picture painted in our minds for how we want things to go. But God, we release the picture to you, God. And we say, nevertheless, not my will, but your will be done. Oh God, we have loved ones that we want to see saved. And we want to see them come into the house of God a certain way. But God, we say, Oh God, we want them saved. And if you save them, God, nevertheless, not your will, but your will be done. Bring them in like you want to bring them in. Do what you need to do, oh God. Oh, we trust you, Lord. We trust you that you won't put more on them than they could bear. But God, we know that they need to be saved. We know that they need to be saved. We know that they need to be saved. Yeah, they're vacia. Oh God. Oh God. Bring them in one by one, name by name. In the name of Jesus. Your will be done. Your will be done. Oh God. Some of us are toiling with the calling of God that is on our lives. Some of us would prefer that it was something else. Some of us would say that I wish this gift was for somebody else and not for me. Oh, it doesn't suit me. I don't want to do this. I want to do that. Oh God, but we pray this morning that we come to the place of nevertheless. Nevertheless, God, nevertheless, God, if you assign me to be the doorkeeper, God, I'll be the doorkeeper. I'll be the best doorkeeper that I can be. Nevertheless, if you haya Babashiya, assign me to go overseas. If you assign me, oh God, to preach or teach, whatever it is you assign me to do, oh God, nevertheless. Not my will, but thou will be done. Oh God, your will be done in the lives of your people. Your will be done in the body of Christ. Your will be done, God, in our churches. Your will be done, oh God. Your will be done. Help us to not buck your will. Help us to not buck against your will. Help us, oh God, oh Lord, to submit, God. Help us to be a sheep, Lord, that follow after the good shepherd. Help us to be a sheep, God, that allow you to lead us. That allow you to lead us, God. Oh, if you let us, God, you'll Hayabashia, if we'll let you, God, Lord, you'll lead us beside still waters. Oh God, if we let you, God, you'll restore our soul. Oh God, if we let you be the shepherd, God, you'll take care of every one of our needs. You'll take care of everything we need. You'll take care of it, God, if we let you. Oh, God, we submit to you today. We say yes, Lord. We say yes to you, God. We say yes to your will. We say yes, God. We say yes to you, God. Yes, Lord. Oh, yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. Yes, Lord. Yes, oh hallelujah. Oh, God, I thank you. Because some of us are stressed out. Because we won't submit. Oh, come on and give God a yes. Yes to your will. Yes to your will. Yes to your will, God. Oh God, yes, Lord. Oh yes, God. Whatever it is. Whatever it is, God, that you want from us, God, we say yes. We say yes to you, Lord. Oh God. I pray that even as we begin to submit, God, that we feel the burden of stress fall from our lives, God. In the name of Jesus. I pray that even as we submit, God, that we feel the burden lifting, oh Lord. In the name of Jesus. Oh yes, God. Oh yes, Lord. You're the potter, Lord. You're still the potter. You're still the potter. Oh God, and we are the clay. Mold us, God. Mold us, God. Mold us, God. Make us into what you want us to be. We invite your presence, Father, and say, have your way in us this morning. Oh God, renew our minds even right now, God, in the name of Jesus. Some of us are caught up in the pain of yesterday. Some of us are caught up in the offense of yesterday. But God, I pray, I pray, Lord, that every burden, every care, every weight, God, that will cast it upon you this morning in the name of Jesus. And we say, Lord, renew our minds. Help our minds to be renewed in the Word of God today. Oh God, help our minds, Lord, hallelujah, to be renewed. Oh God, renewed minds this morning. Oh yeah, na na na baha. Yes, God. We thank you, Lord, that we are a new creature in you. We thank you, Lord, that we're a vessel of honor unto you. We thank you, Lord. Hallelujah, that we serve the mighty and the awesome God. Hallelujah. We thank you, Lord. Hallelujah. We thank you, Lord, that as you lead us, God, we'll follow, we'll go, we'll do what you want us to do. In the name of Jesus. God, I pray your anointing, Lord. Your anointing be great on the lives of these. In the name of Jesus. I thank you, God, for giving them the anointing, oh God. Hallelujah, to be world changers. I thank you for giving them the anointing, God. The anointing that is needed in this day. The anointing that is needed in this hour to be effective, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray for business owners. I pray God. I pray God that shall strengthen them, Lord. That shall guide their footsteps. That shall give them what to do. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, if you give them wisdom, Lord, if you give them how to do it, Lord, then God, we know that they will be successful. Oh God, I pray for them. I pray for every individual that's getting ready for work this morning. Oh God, I pray. I pray that whatever this day greets them with, oh God, that they not stress, oh God, that they be not dismayed, God, but that they remember that nothing will come today. That is too great for their God to handle. That nothing will come today. Hallelujah. That is too big. Too big for their God to handle. Oh Yababa Shannabaho. I pray, God, that you'll take care of our senior citizens, God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray, Lord. I pray, God, that you'll allow even these latter years, oh God, to be sweet, God. I pray, God, that your word, Lord, that your word, God, would come to life, oh God, and it would become fruit, oh God, in their life, oh God. Lord, you said, oh God, that the glory of the latter end, oh God, oh God, was greater than that of the former, God. Oh God, you told us, God, that the latter is greater than the former. Oh God, let them experience, Lord, the best years of their life, God. Oh Lord. Let them receive the goodness of God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God. I pray, Lord. I pray, God, for those that have been waiting in line, that have been waiting to be blessed. That have been waiting, oh God, for things to turn in their life, God. Oh God, I pray that you'll strengthen them, God. Strengthen them to wait on you. Strengthen them to wait on you. Strengthen them to not get ahead of you. Strengthen them to not get tired, God. Ya baba soul, yea, la ba boshia. Oh God, you're worth the wait. Oh God, what's coming is worth the wait. Oh God, I thank you, Lord. I thank you, Lord. Oh God, keep our cars on the road today. In the name of Jesus. Protect our transportation today, Father. In the name of Jesus. Cover our schools today, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Cover those bus stops, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Oh yes, God. We cancel the assignment of the enemy that comes against the people of God. We cancel the assignment of the enemy to kill, steal, and destroy. In the name of Jesus, we speak life. We speak health. We speak peace. In the name of Jesus. Oh yes, God. We speak it in the name of Jesus. Good Father, we thank you because in you there's everything that we need, everything that we can hope of, everything that we can dream of. Oh God, it's all in you, Lord. Oh God, we thank you. Ayah, you're great. You're great and mighty. You're awesome, God, beyond words. No one compares to you. Abba Shandeo. God, we thank you this morning and we love you. In Jesus' mighty name we pray. Thank God and amen. Hallelujah. We thank the Lord. We thank the Lord for prayer this morning. We thank him for what he's doing in our lives. Hallelujah. We thank him for what he's doing in our lives. Hallelujah. I thank God for our time of uh devotion, our devotional time here. And I'm going to read to you what we have for our devotion this morning. It's called Grace That Holds Up. Grace That Holds You Up. Second Corinthians 12 and 19. My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. If you're standing today, it's not because you never broke. It's because God never let the break be your ending. Grace filled the gap when strength failed. Grace held you when exhaustion won. Grace covered you when mistakes tried to shame you. Still standing doesn't mean you're flawless. It means God faithfully lifted you every time life tried to push you down. Amen. We thank God for his grace. Hallelujah. The Spirit of the Lord led me to pray for stress this morning. Hallelujah. And we thank God. We thank God that there is a grace upon the life of the believer. Hallelujah. There's favor that we don't deserve. Favor that we've never paid for. Hallelujah. There's favor on our lives that we don't deserve, and that is the grace of God. And my prayer today is that the grace of God, hallelujah, would make the difference, would make the difference in the things that we are trying to do. Seems like some things are not working. Seems like we're unable to kind of be as effective as we want to. It seems like sometimes we're pushing against something that seems like it will not move. But we thank God for grace this morning. We thank God for his intervention in the matter. And if God intervenes, hallelujah. If God touches, if God decides to step in on a situation, we can firmly say that the problem will be solved. Hallelujah. We can firmly say, hallelujah, that we will have nothing to fear, hallelujah, because our Father has stepped in. So my prayer is that God will step in, that grace will step into the situation, and that it will relieve the stress and the worry that is upon the people of God. We thank God because we have nothing to fear. We have nothing to fear when we've got Jesus in our boat, when we've got Jesus in our lives. And so that being said, we thank God. Thank you the Lord for this time of prayer, for this time of devotion. I thank God for Pastor Mark Damon Jr., the pastor and the visionary of Healing Word Ministries. I thank God for the Healing Word family. I thank God for uh Elder Suttles and for Dr. Suttles this morning. Thank God for them. Constant, consistent support. I thank God for them just being prayer warriors that back us up here on the prayer line. I thank God for each one of you that has tuned in today. Know that I am praying for you, that the ministry is praying for you, that the prayer warriors are praying for you. Send your prayer requests in as you have them for us. All right? And so we're preparing to go. There will not be evening prayer tonight on the prayer line. There will not be evening prayer tonight on the prayer line. However, we will return tomorrow morning if the Lord is willing. And we will be praying at 6 a.m. Eastern Standard Time. God bless you and have a beautiful, purpose filled day.
