What if the miracle you need is already in place, and the only thing missing is sight? We open the first day of December by anchoring ourselves in 2 Kings 6 and the moment Gehazi’s panic turns to peace when his eyes are opened. The army didn’t vanish; heaven came into view. That’s our aim today—ask God to change how we see so we can walk through pressure, grief, and waiting with clear courage and steady hope.

We start with wholehearted praise that interrupts fear and reframes scarcity. Then we lean into a practical, prayerful pursuit of Christ-like eyes: eyes that discern without judging, that choose intercession over gossip, that can sit at a table with tension and still serve bread. You’ll hear a strong call to pray for those who oppose you, to believe for their deliverance, and to let God handle what you won’t handle with your hands or your mouth. Maturity in spiritual gifts shows up in restraint, compassion, and a readiness to build up rather than tear down.

Looking ahead, we talk preparation for a coming harvest: strengthening prayer rhythms, sharpening fasting, and letting God order our decisions so we’re in the right place when doors open. We also make space for those walking through grief, asking for comfort without letting depression hijack the moment. Throughout, we keep returning to expectancy—December as a month of catch-up, open doors, and the quiet provisions already stationed around your life. If you need renewed vision to see the window when the wall feels close, this one meets you right where you are.

If this encouraged you, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs fresh vision, and leave a review so more people can find these prayers and reflections. Your words help others see what God has already set in place.

SPEAKER_00

Good morning. Welcome to Morning Prayer. Today is December 1st, 2025. We are thankful for our new month. God has been good to us all through the month of November, and here we are with a faithful God in December. So we thank God for the month of December and the blessings and the favor that we're preparing to walk in. Amen. And so today we are getting ready to go into prayer. Our scripture for this morning. We are basing the devotional off of the word from yesterday that was given to us by Pastor Mark Bayman Jr. Uh the word was called and the scale fell from his eyes. And then so our scripture is 2 Kings, the sixth chapter, verses 16 through 17, they read, Fear not, for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And the Lord opened the eyes of the men, and he saw. Amen. And so we're going to go before the Lord this morning, just asking God to give us spiritual eyesight, help us to see things through the eyes of faith. Amen. So let's begin to praise God even now. God, we uplift your name, we magnify you, we glorify you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. There's none like you in all the earth. Hallelujah. The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. Oh God, we thank you, Lord. You have established us here, God. Oh God, you have made us, oh God. We are your craftsmanship. We are your handiwork. Oh God, and we bless your name this morning. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Each life on this line, each life on this earth is a masterpiece, God, created by you, Lord the author, oh Father. And we thank you. Hallelujah. We thank you for our life. We thank you for our life. We thank you for our life. We thank you for our life, God. Ayandana Boshaya. Thank you for the highs of this life. Thank you for the lows of this life. Oh God, thank you for everything in between. Oh Mandeda Bo Koshanae. Oh Nananabohoa. God, we thank you, Lord. Oh God, you've been such a present help to us in the time of trouble. Oh God, if we ever needed strength, Lord, you were there to be strength for us. God, if we ever need peace, God, you are there to be peace for us. And God, we thank you. Hallelujah. We exalt you, God. Anama Mosiah. We speak highly of you, God. Oh, God, we exalt your name because your name is worthy of all the praise. Oh, God, I thank you, Lord, for these that rose to pray this morning. I thank you this morning. Hallelujah, because you yet have a remnant here in the earth. I thank you, God. Despite what things tend to look like, you're yet in control. You yet have a remnant. You yet have your people that have not bowed to the ways of this world. Oh God, you yet have your people that will humble themselves and pray. Oh God, you yet have people that will serve you rather than money and rather than man. Oh God, we thank you. Allah Hosiah. We thank you, God. We thank you, God. We thank you, God, this morning for your spirit. Thank you for your spirit. I love Hosea. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for being present here with us, for leading us in prayer. We thank you, Holy Spirit, for your presence here. In Amanda Hosiah. Throw your weight around. Move like you want to move. Do what you want to do. In Amanda Boho. We thank you, Jesus. Hallelujah, Jesus. Oh God, we lift up a praise on a Monday morning. We lift up a praise at the beginning of a new month. We lift up praise. Every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before. We lift up a praise, God, because you're worthy and deserving. Oh God, we bless you. We thank you, God. We didn't have to see December, but you saw fit, Lord. You saw fit, Lord. Yemande Ko Shandaya. You saw fit, God, to give us to make the wake-up list. You saw fit, God, and we thank you for it. We thank you for this day. We thank you for the blessings, for the favor that are wrapped up in this day. We thank you. For the life lessons that are wrapped up in this day. Oh God, we thank you. Oh God, we thank you. We thank you, Lord, that we don't go this walk by ourselves, God. But Lord, that you walk with us, God. You're there with us every step of the way. Every step of the way. Every step. I never shia. Every step of the way. You are here with us, God. And we thank you for that, God. Oh Lord. I pray this morning. I pray, God, for our spiritual sight, God, in the name of Jesus. Oh God. Oh, the enemy wants us to see things in such a way where it seems that we are surrounded by our enemies. Oh God, the enemy wants us to see things in such a way that it seems that the walls are closing in on us. Oh God, the enemy wants us to see things in such a way where it seems that we're the only ones that are living right. Oh God, but I thank you. I thank you, God, that they that are for us are more than those that are against us. Analobo Hoshiah. I thank you, God. I thank you, God. Oh Lord. Oh God, that all power and all might is in the hands of the God that we serve. I thank you that the walls are not closing in. I thank you that there's a window. I thank you that there's a door for us to walk through. I thank you, God. I thank you, God, that you have a plan for our lives. And you have, oh God, good intentions for us. And so, God, I thank you now. God, I thank you now. That it's not what the enemy has made it to look like. Oh, we're not destitute. Oh, we're not without options. And my day, Oshiah. We just might be waiting a bit. We might just be waiting. Hallelujah. For the plan of God to present the next option. But we are not alone. We are not by ourselves. We are not left destitute. We are not fatherless in the situation. Oh God, I thank you. Oh God, give our eyes to see. Oh God, to see things even as Jesus saw them. Oh God, give us eyes like Christ. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, Christ-like eyes, see things through faith. Christ like eyes give people another chance. Christ like eyes see through love and compassion. Christ like eyes are selfless. Oh God, give us to see as Christ saw. Oh God, I thank you now. I thank you now. I thank you now. Oh God, for growing us to be more like Jesus. For growing us, God, to be more like him, to be more like the one that sat beside his betrayer. To be more like the one that sat right there, knowing exactly what they would do and love them anyway. Amanda Hoshea. I am Amoshaya. Broke bread with him anyway. Oh God. I thank you, God, for helping us to be more like you. I thank you, God, for helping us to know, God, that all things are under control. That our Father, our Mandar will take care of even those that we discern to be enemies. Oh, we can see them from a mile off. Oh God, you've given us discernment. You've given us to see, God. Oh God, but help us now that we have the knowledge. Show us how to be Christ-like and to deal with them accordingly, Father. In the name of Jesus, in an Amama Hosea, we thank you, God. We thank you, God, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities above wickedness and spiritual wickedness in high places. Oh God, we wrestle not against the individual, not against those things that we've discerned. Oh God, but we wrestle, God, against that spirit, against that spirit, against that thing, against that stronghold. Oh God, we pray, Lord, we pray for our enemies today. We pray for those that despitefully use us and say all manner of evil against us. Oh God, we pray for them today. Oh my mother Behosa Bahiah. Oh God, you take care of it. We're not putting our hands on it. Oh God, you take care of it. We're not putting our mouths on it. God, you take care of it in the name of Jesus. Oh God, oh God. Oh God, oh God. Oh God, you've given us insight. Oh God, to pray, Lord, that that soul may not be lost. Oh God, you've given us insight to pray, oh God. That they may be delivered. That they may be delivered. That they may be delivered. And so God, we thank you this morning. We thank you for delivering our enemies. We thank you for saving our enemies. We thank you for washing our enemies. We thank you, oh God. In a mamma, save them real good, God. Save them to the utmost, God. In a mammaho. In the name of Jesus. Save and deliver, God. Until that Spirit, God, stops, oh God, operating through them. In the name of Jesus. Save God. Save our enemies, God. Ayama Moho. It is not your desire for one of us to be lost. Not one of us. Not one of us. It is not your desire that not one of us go to hell. Oh God, save our enemies. The blood of Jesus prevail. In the mama say, the blood of Jesus come against every attack of the enemy. In the name of Jesus. God, we thank you. God, we thank you for these spiritual eyes that you have given us. These spiritual eyes that you've given us to discern with. God, we thank you. Help us to be responsible with discernment. Oh God, when you show us something in the spirit, it's for us to pray about, not for us to gossip about. Help us, God. Oh God, help us, God. Oh Lord, to have, Lord, the compassion of Christ, even in our spiritual gifting. Oh God, we thank you. Oh God, we thank you. Oh God, we thank you. We thank you, God, for what you're doing. Oh God, in us. We thank you for how you're growing us. We thank you for how you're using us. Oh God, I thank you. Help us, oh God. Mature us in our gifting, oh God. Mature us in our calling, God. In the name of Jesus. Give us to be ready. Give us to be ready for the harvest. Oh God, we believe a great harvest is coming to the kingdom of God. We believe that a great harvest is coming and it's in alignment with your word. Oh God, help us, God, in this season, God, while we're waiting for the harvest, while things are building up, God, help us to build up our prayer life. Help us to build up our fasting, God. Help us to build up, Lord, our holy faith, God. Help us to build up, God, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, that we might be ready to embrace those that come into the fold. That we might be ready, oh God, to pour into those that come into the fold. That we might be ready, God, to serve you, God, and to do what it is that you have given us to do in the name of Jesus. I pray, God, that our footsteps be ordered in the name of Jesus. I thank you, God, for giving us to make decisions that are informed by you, God. Give us to consult with you, Lord. Give us to sit and talk with you, God, about decisions and the things that we're getting ready to do. Oh God, we understand that there's a great move. Oh God, coming. There's a great move coming, God. And we want to be in the right place when it gets here, God. Amanda the Boshaya. Oh God, give us to be ready, God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank and praise you. Oh God, you've done all things well. But God, even in that, God, I pray for those that are mourning today. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, there's a time appointed for us to mourn. There's a time appointed for us to go through. And God, I pray, Lord, that those that are mourning loved ones, those that are mourning them, God, oh God, that you'll give them some mourn. Oh God. Oh God, to mourn, even as the Bible has given us to do. But God, I pray, God, I pray that depression not take advantage of it, oh God. I pray that depression not take advantage of our time of mourning. Help us, Lord, to break out of depression. Oh God, give us to understand when it sits, oh God, and we must carry on, God. Give us to understand it, God. Oh God, help us, Lord. Walk with us as we walk through grief. Walk with us as we walk through grief. Walk with us, God. Ayana Hosata. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I ask this morning. Oh Lord, that you'll hold our hand today. That you'll guide us through this day. Oh God, that you'll guide us through this day. Oh God, I thank you for the divine setup of this month. Oh God, there are blessings wrapped up in this month. There's favor wrapped up in this month. Oh God, Ayashonabo. We're even coming into a new year. And God, if you preserve our lives, there is victory. Oh God, there are things that we're right on the cusp of, right on the brink of. Oh God, I pray that in this last month of the year, oh God, Ayana Hoshiah. Oh, there's some promises that were made to your people. Oh God, some received a word that before the year was out that you were going to do something mighty. Oh God, I thank you. Oh manabashia. Oh God, I thank you for being a man of your word. Oh God, for being a man of your word. Give us to taste your goodness, God, even as we come into the beginning of a new year, Father. In the name of Jesus. God, we sit in expectation. We sit in expectation, Lord. Oh God, we believe you're gonna make a way out of no way. We believe that you're gonna bless your people. We believe that you're going to get the glory. We believe that you're going to get the glory. We believe that you're going to get the glory. You're going to get the glory out of our trials. You're going to get the glory out of our hardships. You're going to get the glory, God. I am a mammasia. Because we'll tell the world that you did it. We'll tell the world that you did it, God. Oh Lord, we thank you. Even now in the name of Jesus. Father, cover us under your blood and keep us. We cancel the assignment of the enemy that comes against us, that comes against our household, that comes against our children and our loved ones. In the name of Jesus, we plead the blood of Jesus. The blood of Jesus prevail over these your people today. In Jesus' name. Thank God and amen. Thank God and Amen. Hallelujah. We're thanking the Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. There's such an expectancy in my soul, in my spirit. I believe, hallelujah, that God is going to do great and mighty things this month. I believe that this is a catch-up month. I believe that God is going to do some amazing things. And I'm just sitting here and I'm waiting on the Lord. Sitting here and waiting and getting ready to see God do some amazing things. Aren't you excited? Hallelujah. If you're not, ask the Lord to help you to get excited. Help you to get excited about what is to come. Hallelujah. Because I believe that there are great things ahead. Amen. And so we're going to get to our devotional now. Hallelujah. The devotional title is Open My Eyes, Lord. It reads, Gehazi didn't need a change in circumstance. He needed a change in sight. The enemy surrounded the city, but heaven surrounded the enemy. Often we panic because our natural eyes only register what threatens us, not what covers us. God is not intimidated by what intimidates us. He has already stationed protection, provision, and purpose around your life. The miracle didn't start when the chariots of fire appeared. They were there all along. The breakthrough happened when Gehazi finally saw. Amen. Hallelujah. The breakthrough happened when Gehazi finally saw. My God, that is so good. So what that's saying to us is that hallelujah, the provision of God was always there for the prophet. It was always right there. But he just couldn't see it. And so our breakthrough occurs when we actually begin to see the hand of God in our situation. When we see that God is on the move. Amen. So we're asking God this morning to open up our spiritual eyes. Give us to see the provision that you have set before us. Give us to see the way that you have already made for us. Give us to see, hallelujah, the angels that are encamped all around us, hallelujah. And that we are not fighting in this world and in this space alone. Amen. That is so good. I thank God for that devotional. Thanking God for the word yesterday. It was a great word. You want to go look back at it, it's on our YouTube page. Uh, God has been blessing us and feeding us real good at Healing Word Ministries. And so we thank the Lord for it. Amen. Shout out to Pastor Mark Baeman Jr. and to the Healing Word family. God bless you this morning. I thank the Lord for Elder JC Suttles, for Dr. Suttles that are on the line this morning. Thank God for them.
