Healing Prayer
We Trade Noise For Nearness And Ask God To Pull Us Closer
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
What if the strength you’re seeking isn’t hiding in the hype but waiting in the quiet? We open the week with worship that moves past noise into nearness, and a heartfelt prayer for a deeper hunger for God’s presence. Our focus is simple and demanding: holiness as a way of life, humility as a daily decision, and hunger as a cultivated appetite that reshapes what we chase and how we serve.
Guided by 2 Chronicles 29:11, we talk about what it means to not be negligent with our spiritual calling—to stand, serve, and minister before God with reverence and joy. We name the pressure points: frustration in ministry, distraction that dulls desire, and the subtle drift from relationship to routine. Then we ask for the Shepherd’s staff to draw us back and prod us forward, so we don’t miss the next move of God or the next filling of His Spirit. The language is plain, the prayer is bold, and the goal is clear: relationship over platform, presence over performance.
Our devotional—“the call beyond the sound”—pushes further. We confront a culture that can dance but struggles to dwell, and we place power where Scripture puts it: not in the break but in the breaking of our will before God. We reflect on the cost of belonging to Christ and the honor of serving with gladness, trusting that faithfulness over a few things forms a heart sturdy enough for more. Along the way we intercede for grieving families, pray for healing and protection, and ask God to expose the traps that keep us shallow.
If you’re ready to trade hype for habitation and rekindle a steady hunger for God’s Word, this conversation will meet you where you are and pull you closer to His heart. Listen, share with a friend who needs fresh fire, and leave a review to tell us where you’re choosing depth this week. Subscribe so you don’t miss tomorrow’s prayer.

SPEAKER_00Good morning. Welcome to Morning Prayer. Happy Monday. Today is December eighth, two thousand and twenty-five. Thankful to the Lord for another week. I do apologize for my tardiness this morning. I was up because something came up and I had to take care of that before I could get on the line. So please forgive me, but I am here. I am here and I am excited about what God is doing and I am ready for prayer. Amen. I'm thanking the Lord for uh an awesome weekend. Hopefully you have the same testimony. God really moved it on mixed. Uh we had a guest speaker on this Sunday morning and uh a powerful word came forth. So this morning and for this week, our devotionals will be based off of that word. Amen. So that word is about holiness, humility, and a hunger for God. Holiness, humility, and a hunger for God. And so this morning we're going to pray about our hunger for the Lord, for the Lord to increase our spiritual appetite. We want to be hungry and thirsty for the word of God. We don't want to be just satisfied where we are, but we want to ever be reaching and ever be uh leaning on God. Amen. And so let us go before the Lord this morning. We're going to start our time by giving God praise. Hallelujah. We're going to give him glory. We're going to give him honor. Come on and let's worship the Lord. Hallelujah. Lord, we love you. Hallelujah. We exalt your name. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. We stand on you as our rock and our foundation. Oh Jesus, we worship you. Oh God, we worship you. Hallelujah. Oh Nandeoshaya. You are Lord of Lords. You're the great I am. You're the King of all. Ananamoto Bokoshetama. We call you wonderful. We call you counselor. We call you mighty God. We call you everlasting Father. We call you Prince of Peace. Anasa Omanda Siya. For your kingdom shall have no end. Omanda Babosoa. We bless your name, God. We bless your name, God. Omanda Koso. Ikanda so inanda manda koshaya. Oh Lord, for putting on our minds, for putting on our hearts that we ought to pray this morning. Oh God, that thought. Oh God, was because of you, God. Oh God, I ask, Lord, that you'll help us this morning. God, we're coming to you, seeking first the kingdom. Oh God, above everything else, God. Oh God, we need relationship with you more than we need massive church buildings. We need relationship with you more than we need houses and cars and boats, oh God, and planes and jets. Oh God, we need relationship with you above everything else. Oh God, I pray, Lord, that you'll give us, Lord, a hunger and a desire to go deeper, deeper, deeper. Anamamo Kosha Tamaya into your presence, God. Oh God, give us, Lord. Oh God, to have relationship with you. Oh God, even as the tabernacle, God. Oh God, give us to not just wait in the outer courts, God. Oh God, but give us to press in, oh God. Give us to press in to the Holy of Holies. Give us to press in, oh God. Nearer to you, Jesus. Nearer to you, Jesus. Nearer to you, Jesus. Nearer to your presence. Oh Sendeosa. Oh Mandakasoa. Oh God, I thank you. Oh God, because you're yet alive. Oh God, you're yet alive. Oh God, you're yet alive. Oh God, even as you were on a lousa street. Oh God, you're yet alive now. Oh God, even as you were, oh God, in the day of Pentecost. Oh God, you're yet alive now. Your spirit is yet moving. Your spirit is yet upon this generation. Your spirit, Anaba Bosso, is yet here, God. And you're yet endowing us with power. You're yet endowing us with authority. You're yet calling us higher. Oh, Manda Boshando. You're yet calling us deeper. Oh, Mandea Soa. You're calling us deeper. You're calling us to you. You're calling us to you. Oh God, as you call us, God, give our spiritual ears to perceive you. Oh God, as you call us, Lord, give our hearts to perceive you. Oh God, as you call us, God, give our eyes to perceive you in the name of Jesus. Oh God, you're nudging your people in. You're pulling your people in. Oh God, pull us in, God. Omanda Hoshiah. Pull us in like the shepherd. Oh God, pull us in with your hook, God. Pull us in, God. Oh Nanda Hoshande. Closer to thee, God. Closer to thee, God. Nearer to the cross, God. Pull us to the cross, Jesus. Pull us to the cross, Jesus. In under Hosiah, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you. I thank you, God. Oh Lord, for blessing these your people to walk closer, to walk upon you, God, to walk right beside you, God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, where we have wandered away. Oh God, where we've gotten distracted. Oh God, where we're yet resting. When we should be walking. Oh God, nudge us. Oh God, nudge us and pull us in, oh God. I under Hosata. We don't want to miss the next move. Oh Mande the Yosiah. We don't want to miss the next filling. Oh Nananda Hoshiah. We don't want to miss the next move. So God, we ask that you pull us on in. That you pull us on in. Oh God, give us to push in. Oh God, give us to press in. In the name of Jesus. Oh God. Second Chronicles 29 and 11 tells us to not be negligent. Oh God. It tells us, Lord, oh God, that you've chosen us to stand before you, that you've chosen us to serve you. That you've chosen us to minister before you. Oh God, you've chosen us, God, and you're telling us to not be negligent with our spiritual life, God, to not be negligent with the things of the Spirit. Oh God, but to hold them in high esteem. Oh God, to hold them as holy. Oh God, to honor them as what they are in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray for those. Oh God, those that are workers in ministry. Oh God, those that you have entrusted with much. Oh God, I pray that you'll help them, Lord, to not despise the office, to not despise the responsibility. Oh God. I pray, Lord. Oh God, where their spirit has gone off. Oh God. I pray Yanda Boshanda. Oh God, that you'll redirect them to the cross. Redirect them, God. Redirect them, God. Give them not to serve out of frustration. But God give them to serve you. Oh God, from a pure heart. Give them to serve you. Oh God, for it being all about you. Give them to serve you, Jesus. Oh God, I pray this morning that you'll give us, oh God, oh God, to press, oh God, even as we serve. Oh God, to serve and to serve you with gladness. To serve and to serve you with a thank you. And to serve under Boshia, as it is a privilege and an honor. Oh God, to be chosen, oh God, as it is a privilege and an honor. Oh God. Oh God, to be associated with the things of God. It's a privilege. It's an honor. Oh God, give us to serve as such. In the name of Jesus, I pray, oh God. I pray for that one. I pray for that one. Oh God. That one that even despises the little things, God. Oh God, the little things that you've given them rule over. Oh God. I pray, Lord. I pray, God, that you'll help their eyes to see. That you'll help their eyes to see, God, that if they're faithful over a few, that you'll make them a ruler over many. Oh God, I pray, and I come against frustration in the name of Jesus. I come against frustration under the Mosiah. I come against it in the name of Jesus. Oh, we declare that only what we do for Christ will last. Oh, we declare the word of God that tells us, oh, to seek first the kingdom, and all these things shall be added unto us. Oh God. Oh God. We're bought with a price, God. We're bought with a price, God. We belong to your God. Anaso Idanya Si. Help us to not despise belonging to your God. Oh, nande Oshiah. Oh God, the cost. The cost was nails in your hands. The cost was nails in your feet. The cost was shouldering a heavy cross up a mountain, up a hill to Calvary. The cost was you being beaten all night long. Oh God, the cost was thorns on your head. The cost was you being spit upon and humiliated. Oh God, the cost. And was great. The cost was the Son of God. Oh, we were purchased. And the Basi bought with a price. And God, we belong to you. Help us to serve you with gladness. Oh God, and give us to be anointed to serve in the name of Jesus. Oh God, give us a hearing eye, send me spirit. And that's so. God, you don't have to look far. You don't have to look far for someone that'll do your will. God will be the one. Oh God, if serving you is reading a scripture. Oh God, in the service. Oh God, if serving you is showing up at a city council meeting, representing the churches. Oh God, whatever it may be, whatever office you've given us, whatever you've given our hands to do. Oh Manda Yokashando Yenade Osha, help us to do it as unto the Lord. Ah God, we thank you, Jesus, for giving us, Lord, humility and a hunger for you. Oh, we thank you for giving us humility and a hunger for you. I thank you this morning and I declare over the line that if my people which are called by my name would humble themselves and pray, then will I hear from heaven, Amosha, I'll forgive their sins and I'll heal their land. Oh God, I thank you because the promise of prayer and humility is the healing of our land. Oh Manda Bohosha, you'll hear your forgive sins. You'll heal the land, God. Oh, if we walk in humility, if we walk hungry for you, God, oh God, you'll do a thing in this generation that has never been seen before. You'll heal the land. You'll heal the land, God. You'll heal the land. Ayako Osai Ida Oshanda. God, I pray this morning. I pray, God, for the Polk family. Oh God, I pray. I pray God that you'll mend the broken. Mend the broken heart, God. Oh God, the Baaman family. Mend the broken heart, God. Those that are grieving and in bereavement. I end the hosukushity. Oh God. Oh God. Draw them into you, God. Draw them into you, God, and be the comforter that we know you to be. Comfort their hearts. And the double suku in the name of Jesus. Oh God. I thank you today. I thank you today, Lord. I pray your healing hand touched. Your healing hand touched. Those that are on this line. Whatever's aching, whatever's ailing, whatever it is, God, whatever the doctor says. And the double kush can be God, I am the we believe that you're a healing God. And the double Saiya. We declare that by your stripes we are healed, God. By your stripes, we are healed, God. We declare it in the name of Jesus and will speak it until we see it. Indeed, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray divine protection. The hand of divine protection be upon these, your people. Cover us under your blood. Cover us and hide us, God, from the enemy, oh God. Oh God, every trap of the enemy be exposed. In the name of Jesus, I bind every spirit of retaliation that comes against the people of God. Oh God, I pray. I pray this morning, oh God, that you'll make our path clear in the name of Jesus. Oh God, and that you'll pass the devil out, oh God, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you and I praise your name. In Jesus' name. Thank God and amen. Hallelujah. Thank God and Amen. Hallelujah. We thank God for that time of prayer. Hallelujah. I just love the Lord. Hallelujah. He is so good. And he is so good to us. I thank God. I've been talking about Him being our shepherd. That really impressed upon me that that staff will draw those wayward sheep in. It will pull them right on in when they're going the wrong way. And that staff will poke them real good if they're sitting still and they should be moving. I thank God that He shepherds us that way. And I want to be so close to Him. Hallelujah. So close that I'm close enough for that staff to drag me in if I'm going the wrong way. Hallelujah. If I'm laying down, I hope that I'm laying right near his feet where he could poke me and get me moving. Hallelujah. We want to allow him to. To be the shepherd of our hearts, the shepherd of our lives. Amen. Our scripture today, I didn't give it at the beginning of the call and the podcast. I got right into prayer. Uh it is Second Chronicles, the 29th chapter in the 11th verse. I'm reading from the New International Version of the Bible. My sons, do not be negligent now, for the Lord has chosen you to stand before Him and serve Him, to minister before Him and to burn incense. Hallelujah. This is a message to the priest of the time, to not be negligent before the presence of God. Hallelujah. How many of you know, hallelujah, that that applies to us today for us to not be negligent as we serve in the presence of a holy God? Amen. So our devotional is called the call beyond the sound. We live in a generation that can dance but cannot dwell. We know how to shout, but we do not know how to stand. And second Chronicles 29 and 11, God tells the priest not to be negligent, not in their praise, but in their posture before God. True consecration begins when the music stops and our heart bows low. Prophet Powell reminded us at Healing Word, I didn't come to hoop you, hype you, or entertain you. I came to help you. Holiness, humility, and hunger are not emotional surges, they are decisions. Power is not found in the praise break, but in the private breaking of our will before God. And the question of the day is where have I been satisfied with noise instead of nurturing my spiritual walk? Amen. The prayer here is Lord, call me deeper than my emotions. Give me holiness in my thoughts, humility in my walk, and hunger in my spirit. Amen. So we thank God for that devotional hallelujah. I'm telling you we had a time on Sunday. And it wasn't a time where we were dancing around. It was a time of teaching. It was a time of really hearing about going deeper in God. And I thank God for that because those are the types of messages that cause us to grow, that cause us to mature in our holy faith. Amen. So I challenge you this morning. I challenge you to think about that reflection question. Where have I been satisfied with noise instead of nurturing my spiritual walk? Amen. All right. Well, first of all, I want to say I love you all. I thank God for all of you. All of you that are here with me today. I thank God and I honor God for Elder JC Suttles and for Dr. Suttles. I thank God for them. I thank God because my life was truly blessed when the Lord decided to give me such anointed and wonderful parents. Amen. I thank God for them. Hallelujah. They were my first spiritual covering, and I know that they're still covering me in prayer. And we hear from Elder JC Suttles on Thursdays when we come in for prayer, and he brings us into the presence of God. Amen. I thank God for them. I thank God for Pastor Mark Bayman Jr. I thank God for him as the visionary of the ministry. And I thank God for the healing word family. Amen. All right. Well, we are preparing to go, and we will return tomorrow if the Lord is willing. God bless you and may heaven smile upon you. Have a beautiful day.
