What if the fire you’re praying for is waiting on the altar you’ve been avoiding? We open with gratitude and move straight into Romans 12:1–2, asking God to renew our minds and make our whole lives a living sacrifice. That shift from partial to total surrender becomes the spine of our prayer and our practice: not conforming to trends, not chasing popular opinions, but learning to delight in God’s will and walk in it with clarity and courage.

Together, we wrestle honestly with “Nevertheless, not my will.” We name the places where our flesh pulls back—vengeance, hiding gifts, clinging to timelines—and we put them on the altar. We ask for a consecrated life that welcomes the presence of the Holy Spirit in everyday places. Drawing on the legacies of John G. Lake and Smith Wigglesworth, we explore how hidden prayer, fasting, and obedience paved the way for public breakthroughs. Their stories aren’t hype; they are roadmaps for modern believers who long to carry God’s presence and see healing, deliverance, and atmosphere-shifting faith.

This episode is a call to live where the fire falls: to be people whose worship is wholehearted, whose minds are renewed, and whose steps are aligned with God’s good, pleasing, and perfect will. We pray protection over homes and families, believing God withholds no good thing from those who seek Him first. If you’re ready to move from convenience to consecration and from mere words to living demonstration, press play, lean in, and bring your whole self to the altar. Subscribe, share with a friend who needs fresh fire, and leave a review to help others find this space of prayer and renewal.

Welcome And Scripture Reading

SPEAKER_00

God bless you. God bless you. And welcome to the Healing Prayer Podcast. We thank the Lord for all that He has done, how He has kept us as we slept. He kept the blood running warm in our veins. He helped us to continue to breathe all of those things that we do without even thinking. God has held us in his hand and allowed it to be so. And so we thank the Lord for not September, but December 9th. December the 9th, 2025. Our scripture for today is Romans 12, 1 and 2, reading from the International Version of the Bible. Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God. This is your proper, this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is, His good, pleasing, and perfect will. Amen. Hallelujah. And so this morning we are praying. We're coming and we're praying this morning. We're praying that God will help us to give him the sacrifice that is acceptable, the sacrifice that he is so deserving of. We're praying this morning that we're going to be able to live where the fire falls. We want to live where the Holy Spirit is evident and where it falls. We want to live a life such that, hallelujah, that miracles, signs, and wonders follow us. Hallelujah. And so we're going to pray this morning and we're going to get into the will of God. Hallelujah. And let's begin our prayer time with giving the Lord thanks and praise. Come on, let's give Him thanks and praise. We bless you and we love you. And the double. Oh Jesus, you're mighty. Jesus, you're awesome. And we love you. We love you. We love you this morning. Have your way, Holy Spirit. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we come into your presence. Oh God, first by thanking and praising you. First by acknowledging how mighty you are. First by acknowledging and boasting on how wonderful you are. Oh God, because Lord, an incredible God deserves incredible praise. We praise you, Almighty Father, Uyanda Boshaya. We praise you, everlasting Father. We praise you, Prince of Peace. We praise you, Rose of Sharon. We praise you, Lion of Judah. Oh God, have your way today. In the name of Jesus, Oshandabu, I pray that you'll touch your people. Oh God, touch our minds, God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, the word says this morning. Oh God, to be not conformed to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of the mind. By the renewing of our minds. Oh God, you don't want us to just be trend followers. Oh God, you don't want us, oh God. Oh Lord, to chase after. Oh God, what is most popular? Oh God, what is the popular opinion? Oh God, you don't want us to be conformed to this world. You don't want us to be cut from the same cloth, God. But Lord, you want us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. So God, we submit our minds to you. We submit our minds to you. And we say, Lord, renew our minds. Oh Manda Bosia. Transform and renew our minds. Oh God, make our minds into the image that you want them to be. Help us to think like you want us to think. In the name of Jesus. Give us a mind of Christ. Give us a mind of servanthood. Give us a mind that's pleasing unto you, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Oh God. Oh God. Oh God. Oh God, you've let us know in Romans 12. Oh God, that there is a sacrifice to serving. Oh God, there is a sacrifice. Oh God, but it's said to be a reasonable and a proper hallelujah. Service unto the Lord. Oh God. Lord, you want us and desire us, Lord, to serve you wholeheartedly. Oh God, in the Old Testament. Oh God, you took issue. You took issue with sacrifices. Oh God, that were blemished, that were sickly. You took issue. Oh God, with hallelujah. Offerings that were given grudgingly. You took issue, God. Oh Lord, with offerings, Lord, that were not pure. Oh God, you took issue with that. And you said you grew tired of it and you didn't want to accept it any longer. Oh God, Iandoah, as we place our lives on the altar of sacrifice. Oh God, give us how to live holy in the name of Jesus. Oh God, give us to have true holiness, not just a form or fashion of it. Oh God, not just long dresses. Oh God. Oh God. Oh God. Not just bland nail polish, God. Oh God. Lord, I pray this morning that there be a real circumcision of our hearts, God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, cut away everything that is impure, God, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, give us to live a consecrated life. A life, Lord. Oh God, that is given to the will of God. A life, Lord, where we're okay with being set apart and set aside for the master's use. Oh God, we thank you this morning. Yamaboshiah. Help us, God, to be a better sacrifice. Help us, God, to be a clean sacrifice. Help us, Lord, to do it, oh God, in a willing way, God. In a willing way, God. Give us to sacrifice ourselves to you willingly. Oh God, give us to sacrifice our will for your will willingly, God, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, oh God, you showed us with Jesus. Oh God, as he toiled with the thought of being placed on a cross, God, of being humiliated, as he toiled with what was to come, and it didn't feel good to his flesh. He said, Father, if it's possible, pass this cup before me. Pass this cup of suffering from before my face. Oh God, give it to somebody else. Oh God, make a different way. And the Hoshaneah. Oh God, but then Jesus said, Nevertheless, Lord, not my will, but your will be done. Oh God, help us, Lord, to get to the place, Lord, where we say, Father, nevertheless, not my will, but your will be done. Oh God, my will is vengeance. Oh God, but not my will, your will be done. Oh God, my will is to hide my talents. Oh my will is to hide away the gifting of God. Oh, because of shyness. Oh, because of feelings of inadequacy. Oh God, but nevertheless, not my will, God, but your will be done. Oh God, I want a certain thing in a certain season. God, and I want it now, God. Oh God, I want some things now. Oh God, but nevertheless, not my will, God, your will be done. Help us, a taboshaya, to become comfortable with praying into your will and to walking in your will, even when it's not what we primarily want, God. In the name of Jesus, oh God, I believe with all my heart, Lord. Oh Lord, that you are the rewarder of those that diligently seek you. Oh Shandaba, I believe with all my heart that if we seek first the kingdom of heaven, then all these things shall be added unto us if we sacrifice for the kingdom, if we do what God says first, if we have a God first mentality, I believe it shall bless us, God, further than what we thought in the first place. Oh Shando, the Bible says you will withhold no good thing from us, O God. And so Lord, I thank you today. I thank you today that it's okay for us to live our lives, sacrificing and serving for the master's use. Because the master has good plans for us. Because the master yando Shando Yenoshaya has blessings and favor that eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, neither has it entered into the hearts of men. The things that God has prepared for those that serve and walk in his will and walk in his way. Oh God, I thank you, Lord. Lord, we want to not just be those, oh Lord, that are quoting scriptures, but God, we want to live with a trail of the fire of the Holy Ghost that follows us. Oh God, we want to live with a trail of the Holy Ghost that engulfs what we touch, that engulfs what we do in Dobokoshaya. Oh God, you said greater things would we do than what Jesus did. Oh God, and the word of God declares that so many miracles were performed by Jesus that they were not all able to be recorded and placed in the book. Oh Manda Hoshiah. And God, you said greater things. God, you said greater things. You said that miracle signs and wonders would follow those that believe. Oh God, I thank you this morning. Lord, we want to live where the fire falls. Oh God, we want to live where the fire falls. Yundokoshaya, Inunde O Koshaya. We want to live in a place where the presence of God abides. We want to be those that walk in and shift the atmosphere. Walk in and heaven opens up. Walk into a place and things begin to happen. Oh my double kushendio. God, we thank you. We thank you, God, for taking us, Lord, to the place of humility, to the place of servanthood, to the place at the higher Mosiah, at the foot of the cross, to the place, oh God, where you will anoint us, God, where you will give us a seek for you, Lord, in the quiet place, a seek for you, God, in the secret place. Oh God, that manifest publicly in a mighty way, God. We thank you, God, for doing it for your glory. Lord, the earth, Lord, is groaning. It's groaning for revival. Oh God, the earth is groaning, waiting for the sons of God, waiting for the children of God, waiting for us to take our rightful place, to take our rightful stance. Ayah Sando, at the foot of the cross, at the feet of Jesus. In the hoya, God give us to live a life of surrender. That you may be glorified through us. I pray today, God, that you'll cover us under your blood. That you'll keep us from dangers, seen and unseen, God. You know all, God. You see all, God. Oh God, your blood prevails, and we cancel the assignment of the enemy that comes against us, that comes against our homes and our families. We call to bosha, ayando. Yes, God. We plead the blood of Jesus this morning. Cover and protect. Cover and protect and keep us as we're on our road to becoming. Oh God, have your way. Have your way in the lives of your people. Oh God, make us so God. Mold us into your will, God, in the name of Jesus. And God will be so careful to give your name all of the glory in Jesus' mighty name. Thank God and amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I thank the Lord. Hallelujah. We are still basking on the word that was delivered on Sunday. Amen. Hallelujah. We're still there. We're still there in that word. We're still there in that challenging word that's challenging us to get ourselves into a position where we'll serve the Lord, where we'll bow to God, where we won't bow to our own wants, desires, our own egos, but we'll put all of that aside for the assignment that God has for our lives. Hallelujah. There's an assignment for your life. There's something that God puts you here to do. Hallelujah. And what we want to do here while we're on the earth is we want to find and fulfill what it is that God has for us to do. That when we see his face, he'll say, Well done, thy good and faithful servant. Hallelujah. And so our devotional this morning is based off of another point within our uh from our Sunday morning message. And this is called Living Where the Fire Falls. Living Where the Fire Falls. And the scripture basis was Romans 12 and 1. Amen. I'm going to read that one more time. Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God. This is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is, his good, pleasing, and perfect will. Hallelujah. The word of the Lord is blessed. The devotional reads, John G. Lake didn't walk in power because he was talented. He walked in power because he was tethered. Smith Wigglesworth didn't see miracles because he was special. He saw them because he was surrendered. These were ordinary men who gave God everything, not just what was convenient. Romans twelve one through two declares that transformation begins only after we present our bodies a whole offering, not leftovers. God doesn't set partial fire. God doesn't set fire on partial altars. God doesn't set fire on partial altars. The fire falls where the sacrifice is complete. Amen. God doesn't want us to sacrifice part of ourselves. He doesn't want us to just give a little bit of ourselves away to him. But he wants the whole offering. The whole offering, our whole life, everything about us. He wants it all. He wants it all. Hallelujah. And we thank the Lord for our devotional this morning. Some of you may have heard of John Z. Lake and Smith Wigglesworth, where some of you may have not. If you haven't heard of them, they're great men of God to look up that uh in the past. Were called faith healers. They would hold massive revivals. And within those revivals, bodies would be healed. Hallelujah. Souls would be saved. Hallelujah. The Spirit of the Lord will fall in those revivals. And these were men that were ordinary men. It wasn't because they were talented. It wasn't because they were so good looking, so well spoken. It wasn't any of those things. It was because of how they lived their life with God in the background, their prayer life, the prayer life they had before they got before the people, the fasting life that they had before they got in front of the people that caused God to trust them, to trust them to work miracles, signs, and wonders. Smith Wigglesworth would walk into the revival, and people would come to his revivals, very sick people, but he would walk in and he would say, Bring to me the worst case that's in here. So he wasn't just asking, you know, for someone that had a cold, but he was asking for people that had cancers. He was asking for people that had uh limbs that needed to be grown back. He was asking for people that had serious medical cases that no one, that no doctor was able to solve. And before the people, God would work miracles. He would work miracles. People would get up out of wheelchairs and walk. They God would work miracles in these revivals. Why? Why would God do that? Because of the type of prayer life, the type of consecrated life, the type of fasting life that this man of God had. And these are the things that we are going after in this season. We're going after being those world changers and those uh atmosphere shifters. Amen. All right. Well, I thank the Lord for each one of you. Thank God for you. I give honor to God. I thank the Lord for Elder JC Suttles. I thank God for uh Dr. Hazel Suttles. I thank God for them. I thank God for uh the pastor and visionary of Healing Word Ministries, uh Pastor Mark Bayman Jr. I thank the Lord for the Healing Word family, and I thank God for all of our podcast supporters. I thank God for each one of you. And if the Lord is willing, we'll be returning here tomorrow. Tomorrow morning, we'll be returning, and uh we'll go further in prayer. God bless you and heaven smile upon you.
