Storms don’t schedule appointments, and they rarely ask permission. That’s why we opened the morning with praise, moved into a fierce, tender prayer for strength and peace, and then fastened everything to the simple but demanding wisdom of Matthew 7: build on the rock by practicing what you hear. The contrast is stark and freeing: the winds may still beat against your house, but a life anchored in obedience and trust will stand.

Together we explore stability as more than a feeling—it’s a structure. We talk about daily habits that shift burdens off our shoulders and into God’s hands, not once but again and again. Casting your cares becomes a rhythm, not a slogan. We ask for roots that go deep enough to hold when pressure rises, and we cover families, bodies, relationships, and future generations with prayer that pushes back against fear and instability. Protection is declared, peace is requested, and courage is supplied for the next faithful step.

Then we sit with Jesus’ teaching: hearing without doing is sand; hearing and doing is rock. The difference shows up in real life—when finances wobble, when health falters, when criticism stings. Practiced obedience lays a foundation strong enough to carry those loads. We also make space for holy surprise, trusting God to do a new thing beyond our plans. By the end, you’ll leave with a grounded vision for your day: pray honestly, practice the Word you already know, and let God renew your strength as you walk.

If this encouraged you, share it with a friend who needs steady ground today, subscribe for more morning prayer and teaching, and leave a review so others can find this space of peace and strength. What practice will you build on the rock this week?

All right, well, let's just begin by giving the Lord praise this morning. Lord, we thank you. Lord, we love you. We exalt you. Your name is higher than any other. God, we bless your name. Hallelujah. We exalt you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Your name is excellent. Your name is mighty. Hallelujah. Your name is holy. Your name is wonderful. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. God, you've been good. Hallelujah. We bless you. You're a mighty God. We bless you because you are a mighty God. Hallelujah. Oh God, we're praying this morning, Lord, that you'll come into our midst, Lord. Oh God, we're praying, God, that you'll give us to be aware of your presence. Give us to feel you, oh God, moving today. Give us to feel, oh God, that you are with us today. Oh Father, I pray that you'll look upon these, O God. I pray that you'll look upon us, O God, and give strength. I pray that you'll look upon us this morning and give peace. I pray that you'll look upon us this morning and give joy. Oh God, I thank you because you are still the lifter of the hung down head. Oh God, I pray, Lord, that you'll touch, oh God. Oh Lord, and continue, Lord, to give us the strength for the journey, oh God. Oh Lord, someone's been going through for some time now. Oh Lord, someone is feeling like giving up. But God, I'm asking you this morning that you'll strengthen them. God, you said that if we wait on you, that you will renew our strength, God. And so, God, I thank you for renewing their strength. God, I thank you for being their present help in the time of trouble. Oh God, I thank you, Lord. Hallelujah, for even being shelter in the time of storm. Oh God, we're praying this morning and this week. Oh Lord, that you'll touch us, oh God, that you'll stabilize us, that you'll plant us, oh God. Plant our feet firmly in you, God. Oh Lord, we're praying, Lord, that you'll take us higher in you. But God, even as you take us higher, oh God, we're thanking you, Lord, for giving us, Lord, the roots, Lord, to be able to withstand, Lord, things that might cause us to be pushed from one direction to the other, Lord. Oh God, we thank you, Lord. We thank you for making us, oh God, to be like that house, Lord, that was built on a rock. Thank you for letting us, hallelujah, be like that house, Lord, that was built upon that solid foundation. God, when the rain came, Lord, and the house was tested, Lord, it stood. Oh God, we want to be able to stand even after the test of life. God, we want to be able to stand regardless of the situations that we encounter. And so, God, we're thanking you this morning. We're thanking you, God, for giving us to be rooted and grounded and planted in you, Lord, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray, Lord, hallelujah, that you'll have your way, oh God. Have your way in each home that's represented here on the line. Have your way over every situation, oh God, that your people are going through. Oh God, some are going through issues within relationships. Some are going through issues in their body. Oh God, some are going through even other things. But God, I thank you, Lord, that there is no problem that you're not able to solve. Lord, there's no problem that you're not able to answer, God. Oh Father, I thank you, Lord. Oh God, we started this week off. Oh God, casting our cares on you. And God, even today, oh God, we cast our cares on you. Oh God, even if we have to do it daily. Oh God, even if we have to do it every morning. God, we cast our worries on you, Lord. Oh God, we give them to you because you're in control. We give them to you, God, because you are the problem solver. God, we give them to you, Lord, because you never intended for us to worry our way through life. Oh God, but you intended us to trust you all through life, oh God. You intended to show yourself strong to us each day, Lord. Oh God, I thank you, Lord. Hallelujah, for granting every request according to your will. I thank you, Lord. Hallelujah, for being a God that never fails. I thank you, God, hallelujah, because you're able to exceed our expectation and even do a new thing, Lord. Oh God, you can blow our minds and do a new thing. Oh God, we're expecting for you, Lord, to figure it out and to do it one way. But God, you're also the God that does a new thing. Oh God, you hallelujah, you do new things in us, Lord. Oh God, I thank you, Lord. I thank you, God, for just the hallelujah, the hope and the future that we have in you. Oh Lord, I pray this morning, hallelujah, that you'll guide us, oh God, guide us in your will in the name of Jesus. Holy Spirit, walk with us. Oh, walk us through the day. Talk with us in the name of Jesus. Oh, we cancel the assignment of the enemy that comes against the people of God. And we cancel the assignment of the enemy that comes against our children and our children's children. In the name of Jesus. Oh, the blood of Jesus prevail over the people of God today. The blood of Jesus prevail. The blood of Jesus prevail over the people of God today. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we're thanking you and we're praising you and we're giving you all of the glory. In Jesus' name, thank God and amen. Amen. Amen. Thank you for praying with me this morning. We thank the Lord for how He has moved this morning. Amen. And we're going to look back at our scripture. Our scripture is Matthew 7, 24 and 25. Therefore, everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the wind blew and beat against the house, yet it did not fall because it had its foundation on the rock. And then the next verse says, But anyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash. Amen. And so looking at those scriptures this morning, that was uh Matthew 7, 24 through 27, it lets us know that if we are to follow the word of God, if we are to follow the commandments of the Lord, that He will establish us and stabilize us. And the winds of life will come, they will blow against us, the rain will come, it will fall down on us, but we will be solidly sitting on a rock. We won't move, we won't waver, we won't be blown over by anything that comes to push us off. Amen. We'll be stabilized right there on that rock if we follow the commandments of the Lord. However, it also gives warning. It gives warning that if we don't adhere to the word of God, if we don't listen to the word that the Lord has given us, that we are like a foolish man that built their house on the sand. And that person that built their house on the sand, that foolish man, when the rain and the winds came of life, that house blew over. There was no stability, there was no thing for that house to cling to. And so therefore it blew over. Amen. And so as we're in consistent search and inconsistent uh request to be stable and to be uh a good soldier in the army of the Lord, amen, we realize that we cannot uh put our hopes in what man says, what everybody else says. We have to put our hopes in what the Lord says, and if we do what the Lord says and put our hopes in what the Lord says, then we'll be stable and we'll be who He is calling us to be. Amen. And so I thank the Lord for that scripture this morning, that's our devotional time, and I thank God for Elder JC Suttles this morning. Thank God for you, thank God for Dr. Suttles this morning. I thank the Lord for our listeners, those that pray with us, and I thank God for Pastor Mark Bayman Jr., the heat the visionary of Healing Word Ministries, and I thank God for the Healing Word family. Amen. God bless each one of you. We will return tomorrow if the Lord is willing. We'll be here at six AM Eastern Standard Time. God bless you and heaven smile upon you. Have a wonderful day.
