When life feels unsteady, the promise that God “makes firm the steps” of those who delight in Him changes the day. We gather in a live stream of prayer to sit with Psalm 37:23–25 and let it reorder our inner world: though we stumble, we do not fall, because the Lord upholds us. From there, gratitude breaks open—breath, mind, Jesus, salvation—and the room shifts as faith rises.

We press into intercession for real needs: healing for bodies, peace for minds, reconciliation in relationships, and provision when the math doesn’t add up. We speak to the lies that isolate and accuse, and we name the victory secured at the cross. The language is simple and strong—pleading the blood of Jesus over homes, confronting fear, and receiving freedom that isn’t theoretical. Along the way we reclaim the season’s center: Christ’s birth as God’s with‑us answer, restoring meaning to our celebrations and power to our daily obedience.

We also pray for the church—leaders and laity, pews and pulpits—for unity that outlasts gossip, for maturity that protects new believers, and for readiness for a coming harvest. Those under pressure for their faith are not forgotten; we ask for strength, protection, and a bold witness that makes God’s presence undeniable. The time closes with a fresh reading of Psalm 37 and a reminder that God cannot lie—His word is His bond, and when He acts, the outcome shows His hand. We share gratitude for mentors and community, and we note a brief holiday pause before returning.

Welcome And Today’s Scripture

SPEAKER_00

Good morning. Welcome to morning prayer. Today is December 19th, 2025. I am thankful to be here this Friday morning. God was so gracious to allow us to wake up and to see another day. Our scripture for this morning is Psalm 37, verses 23 through 25. The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him. Though he may stumble, he will not fall. I was young, and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. And this is Psalm 37, verses 23 through 25, in the New International Version of the Bible. Amen. We thank God because the righteous are never forsaken, and the Lord also makes firm the steps of the righteous. We're going to begin by giving the Lord praise. Hallelujah, Lord. We thank you. Thank you for waking us. Thank you for being in our right minds. Thank you, Lord, that you're right on time every time. Thank you, Lord. We bless your name. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord, that you are the sovereign ruler. Thank you, Lord, that you are seated high, yet you look low. Thank you, Lord. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Thank you that you have numbered our days. Thank you that you know the hairs on our head by number. Thank you, God, that you know us in and out, God. Even the thoughts and the desires of our hearts. Oh God, we thank you. We thank you for being God. Thank you for being sovereign. Thank you for being all-knowing, omnipotent. Thank you for being omnipresent. Thank you for being all-powerful. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Hallelujah. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you, kind Father. Thank you, gracious Father. Thank you, thank you, merciful God. Oh Lord, we just tell you thank you. Lord, we just tell you thank you. Thank you for Jesus. Thank you for Jesus. Thank you for the Son of the Living God. Thank you for Emmanuel. Thank you, God. Thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord, for John 3.16. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son. Hallelujah. That they that believe in him shall not perish, but have eternal life. God, we thank you. Thank you for Jesus. Thank you for salvation. Thank you, God. Thank you for deliverance from the bondage of sin. Thank you, God. Ayah so. Thank you, God, for bringing us out of darkness into this marvelous light, God. Lord, we thank you. Lord, we thank you. Lord, we thank you. Ayah Kushaya. And Lord, we love you today. Hallelujah. We love your name. Hallelujah. We love your presence. Hallelujah. We love you, Lord. Hallelujah. Oh God, I thank you today. Thank you for this time of prayer. Thank you for these prayer warriors on the line, God. Oh Father, I'm asking that you attend to the need of your people. Oh God, I don't have to shout out loud what they need. Oh God, because you know intimately what each and every one of us needs. Oh God, some of us, Lord, need physical things. Some of us need spiritual things. Some of us need healing. Some of us need deliverance. Some of us need help in our relationships. Some of us, oh God, need financial assistance. Some of us need provision to get us through the day. Oh God, some of us need strength. Some of us just feel like giving up. Oh God, whatever we stand in need of today, I thank you, Lord, that we are seeking after the right answer. We are seeking after the right one to give us the answers. Oh, we seek after the only wise God. We seek after the powerful God. Oh, the omnipotent God. Oh, all powerful, all powerful God, all powerful God. You hold all might in your hands. Oh God, and while you deliver one Lord, you can provide for another. Oh God, whatever is needed, Lord, while you touch one Lord, I am Bokoshita. You could heal another. Oh God, while you're healing that other one, Lord, you're able to whisper the answer of prayer to that other person, oh God. Oh Lord, you're able. You are God, and you're able to do everything that we need you to do, even in the same second at the same time. And God, I pray this morning that you'll do that for these on the line today. Oh God, bless them for their faithfulness. Bless them for seeking after the heart of God. Bless them, oh God, for acknowledging you in all of their ways. Oh God, you said that trust in the Lord with all thine heart to lead not unto thine own understanding, but in all of thy ways to acknowledge you, and that you would be the director of our path. Oh Yanda Yanda Baboa, we thank you, God, that our steps are ordered and our path is laid out by God. Our path is laid out. Hallelujah. That you have a path and a road for us to go. Oh God, that'll bring us into the favor of God. Oh God, we thank you that as we walk in this path that you've given us, that there is favor all along the way. Oh God, there's provision all along the way. There's strength all along the way. I and that other Behoshia, you anoint us with every step. Oh God, you walk with us every step of the way. Oh God, we thank you, Lord, that this journey and this path that you've laid before us is not a journey that we have to travel alone. But God, your spirit leads and guides us down this path. God, your spirit, oh God. Oh, gives us wisdom as we walk the direction that you have for us to go. Oh God, I thank you, Lord, for what you're doing in the lives of the people of God. I thank you, Lord. I thank you for opening doors. I thank you, God, for opening opportunities. I thank you, God, because Lord, hallelujah, you have good plans and good thoughts for your people. You have an expected end for them. Oh God, you have a desired place for them to get to, Lord. Oh God. God, you have blessing upon blessing in the lives of your people, for the lives of your people. Oh God, we thank you. Oh God, I pray this morning, Lord, and I cancel the assignment of the enemy. Hallelujah. That devil that says that nobody cares. That devil that says that God has left us. That devil that says, hallelujah, that witchcraft is stronger than the power of God. Oh, God, that devil that says, hallelujah, that God has forsaken us in the midst of our trials. Oh, I bind that lying spirit in the name of Jesus. I bind that lying spirit. Oh, God, we realize in the word of God, hallelujah, that you let us know that you threw the enemy out of heaven. You cast him into utter darkness. You already defeated him, God. You already did it, Lord. Oh God, and he's just waiting. He's just waiting for the end to come. Oh God, where his fate will be sealed. Oh God, we understand, Lord. Hallelujah, that you are the greatest power. We understand, Lord, that we walk in victory when we walk in you, God. Oh God, we understand that we walk in deliverance when we walk in you, God. We understand, God, that the mighty blood of Jesus, the blood of Jesus, Ayababasia, the blood of Jesus is stronger, is more powerful, hallelujah, than anything that the enemy can throw at us. Oh God, we plead the blood of Jesus over our homes, Lord. The blood of Jesus over our minds and our bodies. Oh, the blood of Jesus confront every demonic power that is trying to overtake, that is trying to influence. In the name of Jesus, the blood of Jesus prevail. Even now in the name of Jesus. God, we thank you for freedom, oh God. For freedom, oh God, from bands of wickedness. We thank you for freedom, oh God. I am the bukuyamandio. Yes, God, oh God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Oh, we declare, hallelujah, hallelujah. We declare that we are children of the Most High God and that whom the Son sets free is free indeed. Oh God, freedom in our minds and in our bodies. Freedom, oh God, freedom, oh God, in the spirit, Lord, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, we declare it today. God, I ask, Lord, hallelujah, that in this season that we are in, Lord, that we do not forget the reason, oh God, that we do not forget, Lord, to celebrate Jesus, to celebrate his birth, to celebrate, hallelujah, what his birth meant to humanity. Oh God, give us to not lose sight. Give us to not lose sight. Give us to not lose sight, God. Give us to not get so wrapped up in getting, getting presents and gifts, getting for other people, buying for other people. Oh God, give us to not forsake, Lord, the actual meaning of the season. But God help us to hold it close to our hearts as children of God. Oh God, we thank you. You're the author and the finisher of our faith. We thank you, Lord. We thank you, Lord, for sending Jesus to us, for sending Jesus to us that we might have power, power on earth to partner with the heavens, power on earth to reconcile with God. Power on earth, hallelujah, to do the will of God in authority. Oh God, I thank you. I thank you today. I pray, Lord, for every ministry represented on the line. I pray for strength for the ministries. I thank you, God, that all contention, all issues, oh God, between those in the churches, oh God, I pray that you would govern between the issue. Oh God, let the peace of God begin to break out in the churches. In the pews, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, let the love of God break out in the pews. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, bind confusion. Bind the devil. Bind the devil God that is trying to infiltrate the church. Bind the devil God in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray that you'll give us, Lord, to so carefully work out our own soul salvation. Oh God, help us to work it out in fear and in trembling, God. Oh God, we don't want to miss heaven. Fooling around with people. Oh God, we don't want to miss heaven. Fooling around with gossip. Oh God, we don't want to miss heaven. Fooling around with unforgiveness. Oh God, I'm about shandabah. God, I pray, Lord, that shall help us to get it right. Help us to get it together. Help us to be what the Word of God is calling us to be. Oh God, help us to begin to live the life that will be the example for the new saints coming in, God. Help us to begin, oh God, to live the life. That'll be the example, Lord, for the young Christians coming up, God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God. Oh God. I pray for strength today for your people, for your ministries, God. Oh Lord, help us to be ready for this harvest. Help us to be ready, God. Help us to be ready for this harvest. Lord, we don't want blood upon our hands. We don't want blood upon our hands, God. We don't want to be responsible, oh God, for turning somebody off from Christianity. Oh God, I pray, Lord, that you'll help us. Help us, oh God. Oh Lord, to be as sheep, oh God. Sheep that you're able, oh God, to bend the will and to move to and fro. Oh God, help us to be as sheep, Lord. In the name of Jesus. I thank you, Lord. I thank you, God. I thank you, Lord, for maturing us in the faith. I thank you, God, for bringing us out, oh God, of the patterns that the enemy would hold us in. Hallelujah. The enemy would desire for us to wander in a spiritual wilderness over and over, round and round and round the same issue. But God, I thank you for breaking the cycle in the name of Jesus and for bringing us out through the power of your word. Oh God, I thank you, Lord. Hallelujah, for bringing us out, oh God, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I'm asking, Lord, hallelujah, that you'll continue, oh God, to bless these households. Bless your people everywhere, Lord. Oh God, I pray even for those, Lord, that are suffering for Christ's sake. Oh God, there are some that are being persecuted, physically beaten, physically mistreated, oh God, because of the cause of Christ. Oh God, there are some, Lord, that are enduring hardship on their jobs because people know that they are saved. Oh God, Lord, wherever persecution is, wherever your people are standing and being persecuted, I pray that you'll give them strength, God. I pray that you'll bring them out, God. And I pray, Lord, hallelujah, that you'll show yourself strong and show those that persecute them that you are with them, Lord, and that you are the true and living God. Oh Father, I pray that you'll do it, Lord, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I'm asking that you'll do all of these things. Oh God, I pray that you'll keep us safe and in the palm of your hand, as well as our children and our children's children. Oh God, you're able. In Jesus' name. Thank God and amen. Thank God and amen. I thank the Lord for this time of prayer. Thanking God that He has everything under control. Thanking God that He is the almighty, all powerful God. Scripture again today is Psalm the thirty-seventh chapter. Well, not thirty-seventh chapter, but the thirty-seventh Psalm, verses twenty-three through twenty-five, and they read, The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him. Though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand. I was young, and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. I thank God for this scripture this morning. It speaks to us about the covenant that we have with God. It speaks to us that God is faithful to us not just because of who we are and not just because of our prayer life, but he's faithful to us because he's bound to us by his word. God cannot lie. God cannot lie. If he said that you are his child and that he will provide for you, then he is bound to his word. His word is his bond. Hallelujah. He will do just what he said. And I thank God that not only does he do just what he said, he does exceeding that. He does exceeding abundantly above what we can ask. I think. I thank God because what that means to me is that God blows our minds. When God steps in and provides a solution, it is solved. When God steps in and he does a thing, it is apparent that the hand of God has moved on the situation. What a mighty God we serve. Amen. So I thank God for that scripture for this short time of devotional. I thank God for our prayer warriors. I thank God for Elder JC Suttle. Thank God for him this morning. I thank God for him. I esteem him highly in the gospel, and I just bless God for the man of God that he is and the man of prayer that he is. I thank the Lord for Dr. Suttle. Thank God for her this morning. I thank God. They are definitely my spiritual foundation. They are the first that taught me the word of God. They are the first that thought it not robbery to bring me to the house of God. I'm sure I wasn't always the best uh the best recipient. I wasn't always wanting to go, but I thank God that they made it not an option, but they they had me in a place where they trained me up to love the things of God. And I thank God for them. Amen. I thank God for each of you that are here this morning. Those of you, the prayer warriors that are on the line, thank God for you. Thank God for those that will listen to the podcast later. Uh I will not be back. So we're going to take a break until after the holidays. January 5th will be our first day back. There'll be a notification that goes out. There'll be something that's on Facebook reminding you that we'll be back on January 5th. We'll be back January 5th in morning prayer, unless the Lord says otherwise. Amen. So we thank God for Pastor Mark Bayman Jr., who is the pastor and the founder of Healing Word Ministries. And we thank God for the Healing Word family. All right, so we're preparing to leave again January 5th. That's a Monday. We'll be back if the Lord is willing. God bless you. Have a wonderful day. Have a happy holiday. Merry Christmas. Happy New Year. If the Lord allows us to make it in. Amen. God bless you all.
