What if God amplified the thing that secretly drives you—would you want more of it? We open the morning by anchoring in 2 Chronicles 16:9 and follow that promise into a searching look at motive, obedience, and the kind of strength that actually sustains a holy life. From naming God as El Shaddai and Jehovah Shalom to asking for His presence to reshape the day, the time moves from worship to practical surrender: calendars on the altar, interruptions as assignments, and “Feed my sheep” as the true measure of love.

We talk about living as light in ordinary places—bus stops, offices, checkout lines—where a kind word may plant or water while God gives the increase. The prayer presses into transformation from the inside out, asking for a countenance that invites questions, a spirit that holds steady in conflict, and words that heal rather than harm. There’s clear intercession for children and families, protection on daily routes, and a firm stand against generational patterns that weigh households down. With honesty and hope, we renounce what does not belong and confess a new legacy: as for us and our house, we will serve the Lord.

The urgency grows toward the Church: clean house, steady leaders, and prepare for harvest. Revival looks like order, humility, and readiness to love people well. We close with a devotional challenge—God examines the engine beneath the hood of the soul. Ambition, fear, approval, control, even ministry itself can drive us. We ask Him to search and realign our hearts so obedience becomes the driver and His strength becomes our wind. Listen, reflect, and share your takeaway with us. If this encouraged you, subscribe, leave a review, and pass it on to someone who needs a focused start to their day.

Good morning. Welcome to morning prayer. Today is January 13th, 2026. Our scripture this morning is 2 Chronicles, chapter 16, verse 9. For the eyes of the Lord reign throughout the earth, to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. For the eyes of the Lord reign throughout the earth, to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. Amen. The word of the Lord is blessed. We're praying that God will strengthen us and that he will be uh the the wind behind us that drives us forward. Amen. Amen. And so we're going to pray this morning. Even now, we're going to begin by thanking the Lord for another day. God, we thank you. We exalt you, God, and we praise your name. Hallelujah. You are high and lifted up. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. We want your glory here. We want your presence here. Hallelujah. We want you to manifest yourself in this time of prayer. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Hallelujah. Oh God, come nigh to us, Lord. Help us to draw into you, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Thank you for your presence. Thank you for your power. Thank you for your awesomeness, God. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Oh, you are El Shaddai. You are Jira. Hallelujah. You are Rafa. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. You're Jehovah Nisi. Hallelujah. You're Jehovah Shalom. Oh God, you're El El Yon. We bless you. Hallelujah. Glory to your name this morning. Glory to your name, Lord. Have your way here in the name of Jesus. Oh God, as we're coming into your presence, God, we are so grateful for this day. Oh God, we're so grateful, Lord, because it is a gift and privilege. Oh God, it's a privilege, oh God, to be breathing on January 13th. It's a privilege, oh God. Oh Lord, to open our eyes and lift our heads off our pillows. Thank you, God. Oh Lord, we went to sleep, oh God, with our right mind and we got up with the right mind to serve you. God, for that you deserve thanks. Oh God, for that you deserve our worship and our praise. Oh Lord, we thank you, Lord. We thank you that whatever this day contains, Lord, oh God, whatever is in store for us, Lord, oh God, we believe, Father, that you are strong enough to bring us through. You are capable enough, oh God, to solve every problem. Oh God, whatever is to come, Lord, we place our hand in your hand, Father. Oh God, lead us through this day. In the name of Jesus. God, we're praying, oh Lord. We're praying, God, that you'll guide our footsteps lest we stumble. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, you said in your word that the steps of a righteous man are ordered by God. Oh Lord, you have called us righteous through the blood of Jesus. Oh God, we pray for ordered steps today. Lord, we have plans. We have schedules. We have things that we think that we need to do today, things that we want to do today. But God, we give you complete control over the contents of the day. Oh God, we give you complete control of our schedule in the name of Jesus. Holy Spirit, lead us through our day. Oh God, lead us. Help us to not be frustrated if you are to delay us. Help us to not be frustrated if you put a stranger in our way that wants to talk. Oh God, help us to realize, Lord. Oh God, that you are using us as your hands and your feet, as your mouthpiece in the name of Jesus. Oh God, John 21. Oh Peter, hallelujah, declared his love for Jesus. Jesus asked him three times if he loved you, if he loved him. And God, each time he said he did, but Jesus answered, Feed my sheep, shepherd my sheep. Oh God, you want us, oh God, to be light, oh God. Oh God, you want us to show our love to you by the way that we love others. Oh God, help us, Father, to not be so wrapped up in our things and our way that we can't see your will in your way. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, give us to be driven by our love for you. Give us to be driven by our commitment to you. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we thank you. We thank you, Lord. Oh God, we thank you, Father, for every soul that we come in contact with today. Oh God, even if all we say is, God bless you. Oh God, we realize that some plant, some water, but God, you give the increase. Oh God, we thank you, Lord, for helping us to do our part. Oh God, whether we lead them to the church and to salvation, oh God, or whether it is that we just encourage their hearts. Oh God, for them to continue going on until they get to that point. Oh God, we thank you because you are the Lord of the harvest. And God, we are the workers in the vineyard. Oh God, you're the one that gives the increase. Oh God, you're the one, oh God. You're the one that allows the plant to grow. Oh God, you're the one, Lord. Oh God, it's our job to plant and to water. Oh God, I ask today, Lord, that you'll give us, oh God, a kind demeanor in the name of Jesus. Oh God, give people to see Jesus on us. Oh God, give your glory to shine from us. Give your glory to be a magnet for the lost, oh God. In the name of Jesus. After all, you've made us to be fishers of men. Oh God, I pray, Lord, oh God, that our countenance be such that, Lord, that people realize that we've been with God. Oh God, give our countenance to be such that people want to know what it is, oh God, that drives us, where they want to know what it is that causes us to work in excellence. Oh God, we pray this morning. Oh God, that you'll do something for us from the inside out and from the outside in. Oh God, transform us and renew us. Oh God, mold us and make us. Oh God, throw away everything, Lord, that stands in the way. That stands in the way for the will of God to be done in our lives. God, we want your will. God, we want your will your way. We say yes to your will. We say yes to your way. We say yes to your will. We say yes to your way. Oh God, word our lips, Lord. Oh God, even when we're in times of conflict. Oh God, give us not to fly off the handle. Oh God, give us to not destroy our witness in the name of Jesus. Oh God, give us how to deal with people in a godly manner. Oh God, we can get angry, God. But God, give us to not sin. Oh God, give us to not tear somebody down because we're angry. Oh God, help us, Lord. Help us, God, to interact here on the earth, God, in a way that is God approved. In the name of Jesus. Oh Lord, hold our hand. Walk with us as we go. In the name of Jesus. I pray, Lord, for the children that are represented on the line. Oh God, I pray that you'll cover them and protect them. Keep them as they come and go. In the name of Jesus. God, keep buses on the road. Oh God. Lord, keep them safe at their bus stops. Oh God, keep them safe in their schools. Oh God, keep them safe whether they go here and from to and fro, oh God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, cover them under your blood. Oh God, we cancel the assignment of the enemy that comes against our families. In the name of Jesus. Oh, some of us have issues, oh God, that come down through the bloodline. Oh God, we cancel the assignment of the enemy and we bind every generational curse in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray, Lord, that you'll reach back, oh God, even back three, four, five generations, oh God. And whatever was said, whatever was done, whatever covenant our ancestors had that went down through the bloodline. Oh, we renounce it in the name of Jesus. The blood of Jesus is our confession. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. Oh God, lift up a standard against the enemy, even in our bloodline. In the name of Jesus, I thank you, God, because your word is true, that no weapon that is formed against us shall prosper. Oh God, we thank you today, Lord. Oh God, you're our reigning champion, God. Oh Lord, you fight battles that our arms are too short to fight. Oh God, fight our battles in the heavenlies. Oh God, fight our battles in the spirit realm. In the name of Jesus. God, I pray. I pray for these, Lord. I pray that you'll gird their minds today in the name of Jesus. Oh God, give us a do-right mind. Oh God, give us to lock in on the things of God. Oh God, give us to be focused and clear. Oh God, oh God, give us to lock in on the things of God. Oh God, every distraction, every besetting thing. Oh God, I pray, Lord, that you'll give us to see it for what it is and give us the strength, oh God, to overcome it in the name of Jesus. Oh, this is not the time to be distracted. This is not the time for one foot out and one foot in. This is not the time to dabble with the world. Oh God, help us to lock in in the name of Jesus and to be focused on your assignment. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, the hour is growing late. And you told us to work while it is day, for the night soon cometh. Oh God, help us to work in your vineyard the way that you have designed for each of us to work. In the name of Jesus, Lord, bless every church, every ministry that is represented on the line, every church, every ministry that is called by your name. Oh God, give us to clean up house and to become ready, oh God, to become ready for revival and restoration in the body of Christ. Oh God, give us to be ready, oh God, for the souls that you will send in as the harvest. Oh God, I pray that you'll position our leadership in the way that they need to be positioned. Oh God, give us to perceive, oh God, oh Lord, that the wind is changing and the harvest is coming. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we thank you today. You are Alpha and Omega, the first and last. Oh God, you are acquainted with all of our days. Oh God, we thank you for being the living word. Oh God, we thank you for being Emmanuel. Oh God, we thank you for being closer to us than a brother. Oh God, we thank you. We thank you for all you are, for all of your glory. Hallelujah. You are mighty in this place. And I reverence you, God. In Jesus' name we pray. Thank God and amen. Amen. We thank the Lord for this time of prayer. The devotional for today that can be found on our Facebook and Instagram page is called What's Driving You? Amen. Second Chronicles 16 and 9, for the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are committed to Him. The reflection reads God does not just examine what we do, He examines what drives us. Like lifting the hood of a car, He looks at the engine of the soul. Ambition, insecurity, approval, fear, control. Something is always propelling us. Money can drive us, recognition can drive us. Even ministry can become a driver instead of obedience. But God searches for hearts fully committed to Him, not partially aligned with Him. If God strengthened only what drives you, what would He be empowering? Amen. The prayer here is search me, God, expose what motivates me and realign my heart. So you alone are my source and strength. Amen. Amen. You can find the devotional at Healing WordC-O-G-I-C on the Facebook and Instagram page. Amen. I thank the Lord for our prayer warriors this morning. Thanking the Lord for Elder JC Suttles. Thanking God for him. Thanking the Lord for Dr. Suttles this morning. We thank the Lord. We thank God for Pastor Mark Bayman Jr., the Visionary, the Pastor of Healing Word Ministries. And we thank the Lord for the Healing Word family and those of you that have tuned in to listen with us. Amen. We're preparing to leave, but we thank the Lord for what He's done today. God bless you and have a beautiful day.
