Healing Prayer
When We Follow Christ’s Way, Clarity And Purpose Follow Us
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Start your day anchored in a simple truth: Jesus Christ never changes, and his directions still lead to life. We open with Hebrews 13:7–8 and move into a steady, heartfelt prayer that names real wounds—trauma, rejection, betrayal—and asks God to heal the mind and body, uproot bitterness, calm anxiety, and restore restful sleep. You’ll hear a compassionate call to wholeness that doesn’t erase the past but frees you from its grip, one step of surrender at a time.
From there, we explore a hard but liberating idea: many of our frustrations come less from weak faith and more from misalignment. We want outcomes without submission and victories without the disciplines that shape character. The devotional, “Follow the Directions,” brings it home with clarity. Jesus hasn’t changed the instructions; he remains the standard. When we embrace his way—humility, obedience, and love—direction itself starts to bring light. Purpose stops feeling vague and begins to feel like the natural result of walking in step with a trustworthy guide.
We also lift up the names of God—Provider, Healer, Righteousness, Ever-Present Help—not as labels but as lived promises. That unchanging character becomes a shelter for busy minds and tired hearts. If you’ve been improvising life and feeling lost, this conversation offers a practical path back: forgive where you’re stuck, return to the disciplines you dropped, and follow the last clear instruction you received. Alignment doesn’t shrink your life; it steadies it.

Oh God, we pray that the thoughts that come forth from our minds will be those of the kingdom. Oh God, we desire, Lord, to be your children. We desire, oh God, to go after the things of God. Oh Lord, we're praying. We're praying that you'll turn things around in our mental health. Oh God, I ask, Lord, that you'll cover these, your children, watch over them and protect them. Keep them in all of their ways today. In the name of Jesus. Lord, keep their loved ones and their families. Oh God, you're able. Oh God, you are the same yesterday, today, and forever. Oh God, you don't change. God, they called you, oh God. Hallelujah, the God of peace. They called you Jehovah Shamma. Oh God, you're still Jehovah Shamma today. Oh God, they called you Jehovah Sidkun, our righteousness. You're still our righteousness today. Oh God, they call you, oh God, Jehovah Jira. Oh God, you're the God that supplies. Oh God, and we thank you because you're still the God that supplies today. We thank you for being Jehovah Rapha. Oh God, you are a healer. We thank you, God, that you still heal today. Oh God, you showed us that you were the resurrection. Oh God, when you came and you spoke to Lazarus and raised him from the dead. God, you showed us again when you rose with all power. And God, today, you are still the resurrection. Oh God, we come to you today and we thank you. We thank you that your power has not been diluted by time. Oh God, but that you are ever omnipotent. You are ever all powerful. You are ever almighty. And God, we ask, oh Lord, that you'll be omnipotent and all powerful in our lives, in our situations. We crown you as King of our hearts. We crown you as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We crown you as King of our lives. And God, we ask that you'll take dominion and control and have your way in our lives in the name of Jesus. Oh God, we ask all of these things in Jesus' mighty name. Thank God and amen. Amen. Hallelujah. We thank the Lord. Our scripture for today was Hebrews 13 and 8. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The devotional is called Follow the Directions. We live in a culture that prefers excuses over examples, but Jesus never changes the instructions. He remains the standard. Like a test that clearly says follow the directions, discipleship demands obedience, not improvisation. Many frustrations in life are not due to a lack of faith, but lack of alignment. We want outcomes without submission, breakthroughs without process, and victory without discipline. When you follow Jesus' way, his humility, his obedience, his love, you find clarity. Direction brings light, and obedience attracts purpose. A reflection for today is where has God already given you instructions that you have delayed following? Amen. We want to be about the business of following the directions. Amen. If we can trace back where we stopped following directions, we can get ourselves back in alignment. Amen. We can get ourselves back in alignment and really reap the harvest of what God has for us. Amen. So I thank the Lord for this time of prayer. Thanking God for each of you, each of you that have downloaded the podcast. I pray that you were blessed today. You can send your prayer request to J B A Y M O N at Healing Dash Word.org.
