Healing Prayer
Morning Prayer For The Weary Heart
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Mondays can feel heavy before the day even starts, so we begin by lifting the weight together. We anchor the morning in Psalm 34:17 and take a slow breath around a simple truth: God hears, God rescues, and God’s strength does not wear out. From wholehearted praise to honest confession, we make space for a clean heart and a steady spirit, the kind that chooses prayer over panic and wisdom over impulse when the emails, bills, and hard conversations arrive.
We speak directly to weary souls who feel close to the breaking point. The pressure is real, but it isn’t final. You’ll hear bold intercession for supernatural strength, a sound mind, and peace that guards the edges of thought when fear and dark whispers creep in. We also hold space for grief, calling families by name and asking for midnight comfort, clear decisions, and timely help. Along the way, a brief devotional reframes justice through the story of Moses: God heard the cries of the oppressed and moved. Justice starts with a listening God and continues as we trust his timing and walk with integrity in our everyday choices.
This episode is also a call to live Sunday’s word all week long. We talk about guarding our mouths, standing on promises when emotions surge, and carrying scripture like a tool rather than a quote. We pray for safe travel, protection over our households, and favor that meets us at the door. And we celebrate faithful prayer warriors whose seasoned oil has strengthened our community. Start your week grounded, seen, and strengthened.

Opening Greeting And Scripture
SPEAKER_00Good morning, people of God. Happy Monday. Today is February the 9th, 2026. And I thank God for being here this morning. We thank God that we made the wake-up list. God has blessed us to start another week and we are grateful for it. Amen. Our scripture for this morning is Psalm 34 and 17. The Lord hears his people when they call him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. Amen. The Lord hears his people when they call him for help. And he rescues them from all their troubles. Hallelujah. We serve a God who hears us. We serve a God that rescues us. Hallelujah. And we're gonna go before him this morning in prayer. Father, we thank you and we praise you. We love you. We give you honor and glory. Oh God, your name deserves it all, Father. Hallelujah. Your name is the greatest name, your name is the highest name. There is no other name above your name, God. We exalt the King of Kings. We exalt you, Lord. We hail you as King. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. You are the master and the ruler, O God. We bless your name, O Father. Hallelujah. Glory to your name, God. We give you all the glory this morning. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. We take no glory for ourselves, God, but we give you, Lord, all the glory in the name of Jesus. Oh God, we thank you and we praise you for who you are today. We thank you and we praise you for who you've been to us, God. Oh God, hallelujah. You've been good. You've been a healer. You've been a provider. Oh God, you've been a way maker. Hallelujah. You've been the miracle worker, Lord. Oh God, we thank you for who you've been to us, Lord. Oh God, I pray this morning, Lord, that the Holy Spirit will give us what to say as we pray. In the name of Jesus, give us the words of intercession. Oh Father, we start this week off asking you to search our hearts, Lord. Oh, search our hearts, Lord, if any ways within us are displeasing to you. Father, we pray that you'll take them out of us in the name of Jesus. Oh God, we pray that you'll forgive us of our sins and of our iniquities. We pray that you'll create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, give us to turn from every wicked way. Give us to turn from every secret sin. Give us to turn from every secret habit. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, give us victory, God, in the name of Jesus. Oh, deliver, oh God, and set free. Lord, I pray this morning and we thank you for your word. Oh God, your word declares that you hear us, oh God, that you hear us when we call for you. Oh God, your word declares, God, that you rescue us, God, out of our troubles. Oh God, the word tells us that many are the afflictions of the righteous, but you deliver us out of them all. Oh God. Oh Father, your word acknowledges that we will go through things. Your word acknowledges that there will be hard times. Oh God, the word does acknowledge, oh God, that there will be tears that we cry. Oh God, things that we don't understand. Oh many are the afflictions of the righteous. Oh God, it lets us know that even when we do the right thing, even when we follow you, Lord, and do what is required of us in the Word, oh, that we will have afflictions, we will have bad days, we will have hurtful seasons of life. We will have those things, oh God. Your word acknowledges that that exists for us, Lord. Oh God, hallelujah. We thank you, God, that the word acknowledges that, oh God, but Lord, that you deliver us out of those things. We thank you that weeping endures for a night, but that joy comes in the morning. Oh God, we thank you, Lord, hallelujah, that you put no more on us than we can bear. Oh God, even as we go through the hard times, even as we go through the tough seasons, oh God, you have not put more on us than we can bear. God, I pray for that person that feels that they are on the brink of their breaking point. Oh God, some feel, Father, that they can't take much more, that they can't go much further. Oh God, some feel the pressure. Oh Lord, the pressure of the thing, of the weight that is upon them. Oh God, I pray this morning for their strength. And I declare that they will not break. I declare that they will not bend. I declare, hallelujah, that you will strengthen them and carry them through it, God, in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray, Lord, oh Father, that supernatural strength, oh God, would embrace them today. In the name of Jesus, I pray, God, oh Lord, that you'll begin to give them to see the situation, oh God, oh Lord, to see it through the eyes of a believer, through the eyes of one that feels that you will come and that you will rescue them. Oh God, give them to see it through the eyes, oh Lord, that you are strengthening them to make it through. And if we're going in your strength, that strength does not run out. The strength of God does not wear out. Oh God, you said to cast all of our cares upon you because you care for us. Oh God, you told us that in our weakness that your strength is perfected. Oh God, I pray that you'll strengthen in the name of Jesus. Oh God, keep them in perfect peace in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray that you'll cast the devil out of our minds in the name of Jesus. Oh, that spirit that tells us that we can't do it. Oh God, the spirit that tells us that we might as well take our life because it's not gonna get better. Oh God, that spirit that tells us, oh, that we can't, Lord. Oh God, because Father, you said that we can. Oh God, you said that we can. And if you said we can, God, then we can do it, Father. Oh God, I pray, Lord, that you'll give, Lord, us to push into you this week as never before. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we're on the tail end of Sunday. Oh God, many of us have gone to church. Many of us have heard a word. Give us to take that word and apply it down through the week. Give us to take that word and to walk with it all week long. Oh God, let the word encourage us. Oh God, let the word be a foundation for us. Oh God, let the word be the answer that we need, Father. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you and I praise you. Oh Father, I pray, Lord, for the bereaved families today. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray for Sister Yvonne. I pray for the Franklin family. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray that you'll move mightily. I pray, oh God. I pray for Sister Katara today, who lost her father. Oh God, I pray, Lord, that you'll move on those that are grieving, oh God. Oh God, those families that are encountering loss. Oh God, those families, oh God, hallelujah, that are crying, Lord. Oh, that are trying to figure out how to live life without a loved one. I pray, God, that you'll comfort them. Oh God, even late in the midnight hour when everyone else has gone to sleep, but their tears are hitting the pillow. God, I pray, I pray that you'll send your comforter to them in that hour. And that you'll hold them, God. That you'll hold them, God, that they'll feel the love of God, the strength of God holding them, oh God. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, if different issues have arised. Oh God, different things come up when people pass away. Oh God, it tends to be a stressful time. Oh God, I pray that you'll get into the situation, Father. Oh God, I pray that you'll show them, oh God, through the situation. That you'll show them, oh God, what to do and how to do it, oh God. In the name of Jesus, I pray that you'll send help, oh God, where they need help, Father. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, I pray that you'll do it, Father. Oh Lord, do it, oh God. Oh God, do it, Lord. Do it for your people. Oh God, I pray. I pray that today, no matter what happens, no matter what comes our way, that we'll look to heaven. I pray, God, oh Lord, when we would worry, that we'll begin to pray. Oh God, when we would get concerned, that we would begin to pray. Oh God, when we would open up our mouths. Oh God, and say something to someone for hallelujah for doing us wrong. Oh God, I pray that we'll pray about it in the name of Jesus. God, guard our mouths, oh God. Guard our minds, God. In the name of Jesus. Help us, oh God. Help us, God, to walk as children of the Most High God today. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, give us to want to look like our Father. Give us to want to act like our Father. Give us to look up to our Father today. In the name of Jesus. Oh God, we love you today. We love you and we love your word. We love you and we love your word. We love you and we love your word. Oh God, heaven and earth may pass away, but your word will stand. Hallelujah. Oh God, your word will stand. Give us to stand on the unchanging word of God in the name of Jesus. Oh Father, we thank you for today. Lord, I pray, God, that you'll touch and strengthen your people. I pray, Father, that even as we're preparing to leave, that you'll cover our vehicles, that you'll cover us as we go to and fro. In the name of Jesus, we bind the hand of the enemy in the name of Jesus. We cancel the assignment of the enemy in the name of Jesus. And we declare that no weapon that is formed against us shall prosper in the name of Jesus. God, we're asking these things. We're declaring these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus. Thank God and Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. We thank the Lord for this time of prayer. And we're going to go into our devotional. And our devotional is called God Hears Cries for Justice. God Hears Cries for Justice. Justice begins with a God who listens. In the story of Moses, the Hebrew people were suffering and they cried out for help. The Bible says that God heard them and cared about their pain. Sometimes we wonder if anyone notices what we are going through, but God always hears. He sees unfairness, hurt, and brokenness, and he cares deeply. When we pray, we are not talking to an absent God. We are speaking to a father who listens and moves on behalf of his people. Justice starts when God hears and when we trust him to respond. Amen. Amen. We thank God that God hears our cries. We thank God our prayers do not fall on deaf ears. Hallelujah. Sometimes in this Christian walk, God doesn't answer us right away. And we wonder if he heard us at all. But I want to encourage you this morning that God heard your prayer. And even before you called, he began to make a way. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. He began to make a way. Even before you cried, even before you cried out, God had already begun to set the wheels in motion to get to you what you needed. Hallelujah. And how many of us know that sometimes what we need is not what we pray for? Sometimes we don't even know what we ought to be praying for because we only know in part. But God knows our situations in and out, and he sends us what we need in the timing that we need it. Amen. Amen. I know I'm talking good this morning, and I might be saying things that you may not want to hear, but I'm telling the truth anyway. God knows best and he sends us what we need when we need it, even when we didn't realize we needed it. Amen. He's just that good to us. Amen. All right. Well, I thank the Lord this morning for our prayer warriors. We thank God for Elder JC Suttles. We thank God for him. He has been praying on the prayer line on Wednesdays and Thursdays. He is such an awesome, awesome help to this ministry, and he is just a blessing. When we have him pray, we say that he carries seasoned oil. He carries oil from years and years of walking with God. Hallelujah. From years and years of doing this Christian journey. He's done life for some time now. And when he prays, he prays of seasoned oil with seasoned oil and anointing that he's acquired down through the years. And so we thank God for him and how he has been such a blessing to this ministry, even through the format of this prayer. We thank God for Dr. Suttles this morning. We thank God for her. We praise God for the Healing Word family this morning. And we bless God for the visionary and founder of Healing Word Ministries, Pastor Mark Bayman Jr., who praised the shepherd's prayer for us on Fridays. We thank God for him. Amen. And what he is doing in his life and how he's leading him. Amen. People of God, we thank God for you that are listening. We thank God for those that tune into the podcast. Feel free to send your prayer request to us on our social media at Healing Word C-O-G-I-C. Or you can send it on our website, www.healing word.org. Amen. And we're preparing to leave. We'll be back on tomorrow at 6 a.m. if the Lord is willing. All right. Well, God bless you and have a fruitful start to your week.
