Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Start your day with a grounded, soul-steadying prayer that centers on Acts 20:24: finishing the race, embracing purpose, and testifying to the good news of grace. We open with simple gratitude—breath in our lungs, minds that think clearly, roofs that shelter—and let praise do the work of reordering our hearts. From there, we step into honest spiritual warfare, naming the flood but trusting the God who raises a standard against it, especially when pressure mounts and clarity feels far away.
Guided by a shepherd’s voice, we confront the quiet compromises that dull our witness. Instead of comparing ourselves to the worst examples of faith, we turn the mirror toward our own hearts and ask for a mind to pray, a life that looks like Jesus, and a will that chooses holiness over hurry. The prayer invites surrender: empty what is not like God so we can be filled with what is—wisdom over noise, love over ego, trust over fear. When life feels like quicksand, we ask for steady ground and remember that all things can work together for good.
Intercession widens the circle to our families, our young people, and all who need healing. We ask for traveling mercies, clear steps, and courage to testify to what God has done. Anchored by the conviction that if we seek with all our heart we will find, this time of prayer renews purpose and strengthens community. If you’re longing for a reset that is humble, hopeful, and faithful, press play and join us in finishing the race with grace. Subscribe, share with someone who needs encouragement, and leave a review to help others find this prayer.

Welcome And Scripture Reading
SPEAKER_00Good morning and welcome to morning prayer. Today is February 20th, 2026. We thank the Lord that we're here another day, standing in that gap, and here to pray. Amen. Our scripture for today is Acts, the 20th chapter, the 24th verse. However, I consider my life worth worth nothing to me. My only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me. The task of testifying to the good news of God's grace. Amen. And that is Acts, the 20th chapter, the 24th verse, the NIV version. Amen. Today is Friday. It is Shepherd's Prayer. We thank the Lord that we have the pastor, the founder of Healing Word Ministries, here on the prayer line this morning to lead us in prayer. And so now I will yield the floor for Pastor Mark Damon Jr. God bless you.

SPEAKER_01Father God, in the name of Jesus, Lord, we come before you this morning and somebody else we know how. You didn't have to wake us up today. You didn't have to allow us to have our right mind. Did not have to allow us to have the activities of our limbs. Didn't have to bless us, oh God, with a roof over our head, with food on our table, with clothes on our back. Father, we thank you for your goodness and your mercy towards us. You never fail. We thank you because you're always on time. We thank you because even when it seems like you're late, when it seems like you're taking your time, you are right on time. Father, we thank you. Lord, there are none like you. And we tell you thank you. We thank you because, oh God, you are wonderful, oh God, perfect in all of your ways. And Father God, we exalt you, we praise and worship you. We give you all of the glory, oh God. We thank you because there are none that can do the things that you do, oh God. You continue to place the sun in the sky, continue, oh God, to uh place the stars up there. You continue, oh God, to uh bless us, oh God, even in times when we don't deserve it, oh God, you bless us still, oh God, with breath in our body, oh God, you bless us, oh God, with oh God, continued blessings, oh God, day after day, oh God. Uh the word calls in uh new mercies, oh God. We tell you thank you, oh God. We thank you for brand new mercies day after day, oh God. Oh God, we thank you, God, because you are wonderful, oh God, perfect in all of your ways, Lord. We exalt your name, oh God. We tell you thank you, Lord. We thank you, oh God, because you're so good. Even if we had 10,000 tongues, we couldn't tell you thank you enough, oh God. Romas, oh God, we give you glory today, oh God. We give you glory, oh God. Oh God, we give you glory where we are, oh God. Oh God, some of us driving along, Lord, some of us, oh God, in our bed, some of us, Lord, uh, are walking around, oh God. Some of us, Lord, oh God, are just there, God, listening, oh God. Uh, but God, we give you glory, oh God. We tell you, thank you today, Lord. Oh God, you're so worthy, oh God. Even now, God, I pray, Lord, uh, that you rebuke the devil and cast them out of our mind, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Satan, the Lord, rebuke you, the blood of Jesus comes against you in the name of Jesus. Oh God, I thank you, Lord, because uh, oh God, we know that the enemy desires to sift us as weed. But God, I thank you, because I read, oh Lord, in your word, that when the enemy comes in like a flood, that the Lord will lift up a standard against him. Oh God, I thank you, Lord Jesus. Because even every time, oh Lord, when my back was against the wall, oh God, the time where it seemed like I was not going to make it out. Oh God, the time where it seemed like I was getting ready to lose my mind. God, I thank you, Lord. Um, because you lifted up a standard against the enemy, Lord. God, I thank you, Lord. Because you are the God that does not lie. Oh God, you don't put more on us than we can bear. Oh God, so I thank you, Lord. Um, because sometimes it seems as though we're not going to make it through. Um, sometimes it seems as though we're not going to make it over. But God, I thank you, Lord, that because you are a liar, you are not a liar, God, because you are the truth. Oh, God, I thank you, Lord, because you continue to lift up a standard against the enemy. Oh Lord, I thank you, Jesus. Oh, I thank you, Lord, because you are so good. Oh Lord, I pray on today, God, that you touch our young people, Lord. Oh God, I pray that you save to the utmost, oh Lord, in the name of Jesus. Sometimes, oh Lord, there are people walking around that feel as though I'm saved in spite of spite of the sin that I commit on a daily basis. Oh Lord, I pray, oh God, that you give us a mind, Lord, to be more prayerful, oh God. Give us a mind to live for you, oh God, to example our lives after Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Some of us, Lord, want to pick the worst example of what a child of God is in order to justify where we are. But Father God, I pray even now, Lord, that you give us a mind, Lord. Oh God, to search ourselves, to see where we lack, where we can use some help, oh God, in the name of Jesus. Oh Lord, I pray, oh God, that the blood cover even now, Lord. Oh God, cover Ishaba ku raba. Ramanaba poniaranaba shandaba. Oh hallelujah, Lord. Oh, hallelujah, Jesus. You're so good, oh Lord. Oh, you're so good, Lord. Oh Jesus. Oh Jesus, Jesus, oh hallelujah, Lord. Oh God, we exalt thee, oh God, in the name of Jesus. Oh Jesus, Jesus, oh Lord, Jesus, oh hallelujah, Lord. Oh God, we praise your name, God. In the name of Jesus, we magnify you, God, oh hallelujah, Lord. Oh Lord, I pray, oh God, that you empty us out, oh God. Oh God, anything, oh God, that's not like you, oh God, empty us out, oh God, that we might be able to be filled by you, God. We want to be full of God. In the name of Jesus. We want to be full of you, God, in the name of Jesus. Oh, hallelujah, Lord. Oh Lord, I pray, oh God. Oh God, that when we're down, that you pick us up, oh Lord, and turn us around, God. Oh God, I pray, oh God, that you touch our feet, oh God, that we be on the solid ground, God, even when the seams, oh God, that we're on quick sand. Oh, hallelujah, Lord. Oh God, we serve the God that's the impossible. You can turn something, oh God, that was meant to destroy us, oh God, and make it work out for our good. For the Bible says that we know that all things work together for the good of them that love the Lord and are called according to his purpose. Oh, hallelujah, Lord. Oh God, I thank you, Lord, because it's yet working out. It's working for our good. Oh, Jesus. Oh, oh Lord, we thank you, Lord. If there be any sick among us, oh God, we ask for your healing power, Lord. Your virtue to go out, oh Lord. In the name of Jesus. Oh Jesus. Oh, I pray for your healing power, Lord. Even now. Ramashand. Oh, hallelujah, Lord. Your healing power, oh God. In the name of Jesus. Heal, oh God. Deliver and set free, Lord. Father, we thank you, oh God, on today, God, for all that you are doing in our lives. We thank you, Lord, because you are perfect. God, you are perfect. And we exalt and praise you. Father, we ask on today, God, that as we go on through this day, Lord, that we find you. He said that if we seek you with all of our heart, that we will find you. And Lord, let us find you, O God, as we seek you with all of our heart. Father, we praise you. We ask, O God, that you will continue to look on us. Continue to give us traveling mercy. Continue, O God, to give us a mind to serve you. Oh God, we will tell the world that you did. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our prayer. Thank God, Amen. And amen.
