Averie Collins
Averie Collins is a former professional soccer player, Stanford alum, and 2022 NWSL Champion with the Washington Spirit. She was selected in the second round of the NWSL Draft and made history as the first player from Montana to compete in the league. As the daughter of a former NFL player, Averie grew up immersed in elite sports environments, shaping her deep understanding of the mindset and pressure that come with competing at the highest level.
During her professional career, Averie worked closely with sport psych Stu Singer, an experience that ultimately reshaped how she understood performance. After her career was cut short by a knee injury, it was her work with Stu that opened her eyes to the mental side of the game she had been missing all along.
The Lockeroom is her mission to help athletes build stronger, more resilient minds. The same tools she wishes she had earlier in her career.
