Why EXP And What Changed

What I'm about to show you is one of the most clear and most thorough explanations of EXP Realty that you're ever going to see that's on YouTube. In 2026, we've got some major changes. And even the past 12 months, we've had some amazing changes that I think you're really going to like. My name is Brian Stevens. I'm with EXP Realty, the Realtors of Faith, and also a member of the Wolfpack. Thank you so much for tuning in to this video. Super excited to talk to you about this company that is absolutely life-changing. So if you are a real estate agent or you are thinking about getting your real estate license, this is a video that's going to give you a thorough explanation, all the details, all the specifics about exp realty. So let's kind of talk a little bit about exp Realty and what we have to offer. Our value stack, as it shows here in the middle, is unbelievable. So, first of all, at the very top, you're gonna see you have a CRM of choice, and we're gonna talk more about that later. But you can actually choose which of the three CRMs you would like to work with. Learning and development, EXP University is fantastic. Uh, classes are taught daily in the EXP University, Fast Start and Fast Cap. Uh, we're gonna talk a little bit more about that. But if you're a new agent, the fast start is something you're gonna want to jump right on right now. There's some bonuses and perks about joining the fast start that we're going to talk about. Um, Team Leader Academy, Elevate Coaching, we've got uh Daily Masterminds, EXP Con, and regional rallies are big events that we have to encourage you. I'm not gonna go over these line by line, but you get the idea. So, our learning and development, we have a lot, which was one of the things that attracted me to eXp Realty. Uh, the process management. Let's talk about the Sky Slope, which is the transaction management system that we use. We also just went to Slack about six to 12 months ago. We have the Enterprise, which is a virtual world that you jump into with an avatar. It is pretty cool. And then we have MyEXP, which is the app that is very user-friendly to use, uh, going to support. We're gonna talk again more about that, but we we have over a thousand employees currently with eXp Realty, and the support is fantastic. If you've got a broker question, uh, you can go into the exp world and go talk to a broker right away. You don't have to wait forever. So, uh, any compliance questions, the support is phenomenal. The wellness management, the healthcare, uh, which our family currently uses, it's fantastic. I love the rates, I love the coverage, um, brand and marketing, which is something we really specialize in at EXP and the Wolfpack. Along with myself, I love marketing, love branding. Let's talk more about how we can help you to encourage and take to the next level your brand. But you get Canva, we've got build assign, there's luxury division, uh, all kinds of different ways to do brand marketing. You can build a legacy, which we're gonna talk a lot about that, which is super important, I think. If you're a real estate agent in this business, being in this business for over 30 years, something you've really got to think about. And then financial management, you're gonna love the Rev Share 2.0, the um the pay now, and of course, my exp. So this is it in a nutshell. We're gonna break some of these down. But as always, let's have a conversation to kind of talk a little bit more about your situation. So, what am I gonna cover? Short answer everything. Why EXP compared to any other brokerage? I can tell you right now, I have uh when I started in the business, I was with Calwell Banker uh for a few years, went to REMAX for eight or nine years, uh, enjoyed my time there. Then I went to a my business partner and I started our own brokerage right when the market crashed. So that lasted about two to three years. Then we went to Keller Williams and had a good run there for 12 years, and then came to EXP Realty and have absolutely never looked back. Uh the training, the tools, the resources that EXP provides, um, explanation of the equity, the stock opportunities. We're gonna talk about that. We're gonna talk about the revenue share, which is very important and very often misunderstood, the hidden benefits of EXP that nobody talks about. We're gonna talk about co-sponsorship, which they just opened that, and that is a game changer for reasons. We're gonna talk about getting all of my training for free with EXP Realty and the Wolfpack, which is social media, uh, Mike Sherard's new AI training and then agent attraction. We're gonna talk about splits and fees in detail. We're gonna talk about the different divisions of EXP, which is the luxury, the sports and entertainment, which is newer as of the recording of this video, and then the top 10 most frequently asked questions, which is extremely important. I want you to take a look at these. So let's let's kind of start off. Before we dive in, there's gonna be three types of people who are watching this video. Well, I've right now currently got a YouTube channel that uh ever since I've joined EXP over the past two and a half years, I've been able to grow to over 45. I think I'm at 4,800 subscribers right now. Um, I've got over 28 years uh as a realtor in the business, but my father was a home builder. Uh, so really I've got over 30 years in the business, uh in the real estate business, and probably more like 35. But I use 30 to just kind of a round number in that. But I'm right here in Central Florida, in Lakeland, which is right between Tampa and Orlando. Um, I'm a top producer year over year. The last two years, I've done over$30 million in production. And uh, if you look on my Google reviews, I've got over, actually, it's over 230 five-star Google reviews that of clients that I've worked with that I'm very blessed to have, very thankful. And I asked them, of course, for a Google review, and they've been so nice to do that. These are real reviews, and no, there is no money exchange for a review. These are people that I've worked with that uh it's been a blessing to help serve them. So you can check those out too. All right, so I want to dispel any myths that are out there. First of all, we are the number one growth leader year over year in sales volume, transaction side, and agent count. Real trends, you can see we are the number one in sides, the number one top mover sides and volume, and we're the number one independent broker, which is pretty neat. Uh, Power Broker gave us again, we're the number one in transactions and the number four in sales volume. So don't believe all the myths you hear out there. Uh, I wasn't sure what to believe until I did my research, found Mike Sherrard, and uh absolutely learned so much about this company and continue to learn about this company. And here's the thing: if you go with us as your sponsor, um, I can answer your questions. Mike Sherrard can answer any question that I cannot. He knows this company inside and out. So leaders are learners, so you always want to be what? Learning and leading others. So um, 2009, uh EXP Realty, United States, and 2012, three years later, we branched into Canada. And then you can see, starting there, we've only blossomed into 24 other countries as of the recording of this video. You can see we are blowing up worldwide, which by the way, should really excite you because you get to partner with other agents all throughout the whole world, literally. And we're gonna talk more about that. So we really do have a global reach. Uh, exp versus traditional brokerage. If you're looking to build wealth, if you're looking to build lifestyle, you're at the right place. Traditional brokerages don't allow you to do that. Um, how many times have you had stock ownership in your brokerage? Have you ever had that before? I know that when I was with my other traditional brokerages, I would have people call me and simply want to join my team or our company because why? Because I that's where I work. And of course, I got to bring them on. The brokerage made a lot of money. I got a hey, thank you, so glad. Maybe here's a gift card to a restaurant. That was about it. And I was happy to do it because that's what I all I knew at the time. I want you to expand your mind, I want you to expand, being open-minded, uh, and learn about a brokerage that is cloud-based and is not your typical brokerage. And I can promise you this traditional brokerages, brick and mortar offices. If you've noticed one thing and I have over the past, I would just say five years, is that their office space of their renting is getting smaller and smaller and smaller because times are changing, folks. The market is different, being a real estate agent is different. The cloud brokerage is where it's at, and we're gonna talk more about that. So, what does it look like when you are a member of EXP Realty? Here in the United States, there are no desk fees, no royalty fees, none of that 6% stuff you have to pay, or no franchise fees, which is fantastic. Your commission and your cap is this we're in an 80-20 split, 80% to the agent, 20% to the company. You have a$16,000 cap to pay into exp realty from your splits. After capping, you earn 100% commission for the remainder of your year, of your anniversary year. Okay, so in other words, every every February 1st, my cap resets, right? Because I've capped every year I've been at the company. Every February 1st, my cap resets. I do seven to nine deals. I go to 100% for the rest of the year until January 31st of the following year. Make sense? And I'm at 100%. Okay, we're gonna talk more about that and then more ways you can get stock and other benefits from this company. Now, here's the thing: it doesn't matter if you're a brand new agent, it doesn't matter if you're a seasoned veteran of 20 years, when you come into the company, everybody is equal. 80-20 split. How refreshing. They don't negotiate your cap based on your broker, based on your what the package they give you. It's an 80-20 split, which by the way is above the industry standard. You'll see a lot of these brick and mortar offices, traditional brokerages are 70-30, right? Or if they're uh a higher split or a greater split, they're gonna be charging you on the back end for royalty fees, franchise fees that don't cap, by the way. So the standard fees for EXP royalty are$149 for your startup fee,$85 a month for your cloud brokerage fee, your$25 transaction review fee, and your$60 risk management fee, also called ENO. Now, understand this the risk management fee will cap, and along with your transaction review fee, that now that will stay because again, you're doing multiple transactions. The broker does review that, but um, these items cap, which is kind of nice. So once you've done at$750, this is going to go away. If you're in Canada, same thing: no desk fees, no royalty fees, or franchise fees. You're also on an 80-20 split with a$16,000 cap. Um, a few little variations here, and you can see uh capped transaction fees back on in America it was$250. In Canada, it's$285 that you'll pay in to the company. But let's we're gonna dive into that a little bit more. Uh, but you know what? Let me park here for a second. So, with in Canada, once you your capped transaction fees total$5,700. In America, it's$5,000. Then your transaction fee of$285 here goes down to$75. Let me sum that up for you. Once you hit a certain status with this company, and I've been here for the last three years, literally you're paying$75 for your transaction fee, and I'm paying$25 for a broker review fee. I'm paying$100. Uh, that's it. That's all I'm paying. It is a beautiful thing to see the rest of the commission going to me and$100 going to EXP Realty. Okay. I'll tell you how to get to that point a little bit later in the video. So let's look at the standard costs for Canada,$199 startup fee. Your broke cloud brokerage fee is$139 a month,$29 broker review fee, and a$17 commercial insurance fee. All right, let's move on. So let's talk about equity opportunities. As a real estate agent, like I mentioned earlier, how many times have you been asked to be a shareholder in your real estate company? Right? With me, pretty much never. Okay. So you get that benefit of being at our company. The NASDAQ uh ticker symbol for EXP Realty is EXPI. Look us up on the Stock Exchange EXPI. So equity awards through incentive program. Here's a nice thing. You get$200 worth of EXPI stock for your first transaction closing. You get$400 worth of exp stock when you cap. And you get another$400 of company stock directly for attracting another agent after the agent closes their first transaction. The icon award is absolutely fantastic. Again, I've been very privileged to get that the last three years. And you get uh you can receive up to$16,000 in stock upon the achievement of, you have to do a couple things, certain production awards and cultural goals within my anniversary year. Within your anniversary year, you can get up to$16,000 back, which is your cap. You can get that all back in company stock. There is a vesting period in some of that. So for more questions about that, I can walk you through that. One of them's got a two-year ving period, one of them's got a three-year period, but then some of it is available immediately. So I love the icon award. It's absolutely fantastic. Also, agent equity commission program. What does that mean? That means you can voluntarily enroll to receive five percent of your net commission from closed transactions at a 5% discount effective March 1st. Now, what does that mean? If you want to, you can have uh 5% of your commission come out of your check and you can buy company stock at a 5% discount. It's a good way to force yourself saving some money. Um, us real estate agents aren't the best at socking aside money for future, for retirements, for our taxes, pay your taxes, realtors. Uh, side note, you should set up an LLC and you should be paying quarterly uh for your for your um estimated returns to man. Don't make that mistake and uh owe a bunch of taxes at the end of the year. Okay, sorry about that side note, but not sorry because I've been there, done that. Now, coming back to this, 65% of agents and brokers participate in the agent equity commission program. So it's pretty well known that there's a lot of people doing it. So when you unlock the full power of EXP, uh we're gonna look at the tools, the training, the services that are available to support your business. Uh, as far as tech goes, man, I we are high tech, but not so high tech where you're gonna get overwhelmed. Put it this way you can be as basic as you want to, or you can go full tilt with the tech, right? You all know that. EXP World, we have that. And then we have CSU, uh, we have Canva, Slack, Sky Slope, CRM of Choice. We talked about that. Uh EXP uh Enterprise and Instacard. Um lead generation, you get your choices of different lead gen tools. You've got REO, you've got Revenos, you've got relocation, making it rain if you want to buy some leads, military rewards. My link, my lead is free. Um, EXP Access Referral Division, which by the way is super user-friendly. I've gotten multiple referrals from this. I've received and given multiple referrals. It's fantastic. And again, it's a global referral platform and really easy to navigate, which I love. Training, we have EXP University. I mentioned Fast Cap. There's also Fast Attract. This is a newer training program, which I'm really excited about. We have a mentor program that when you're in new agents, if you've done no deals, you're gonna be assigned a mentor. Okay. Now I'm saying these guidelines uh loosely because things could change by the time you're watching this video. But uh, here it is today is that you are assigned a mentor and they have to help walk you through your first few deals. Okay, they get a 20% cutoff at, but they're gonna help you uh with Sky Slope, with what to say in your listing presentation, for how many homes to show, with your scripts, your language. They're gonna kind of walk you through and mentor you and hold your hands for your first few deals. Okay, very well worth it. All right. We have Elevate Coaching, we have Team Leader Academy. Again, we have a couple events, expon, and regional rallies. We have masterminds continuing ed and broker-led classes. And we have them every week uh here in Florida. So broker teams are again fantastic. Depending on your state, it will depend on how many brokers you're in your state. The larger your state, the more brokers you have, generally speaking. And um, so great support. Team services going live into the chat, go into the exp world and have live conversations or email them, whatever works best for you. We've got transaction coordinators, compliance to keep us in line with our documents, IT assistance. We have a growth team, which helps along with onboarding. Plus, luxury division. I love our luxury division. I've been luxury certified now for two years, and I can tell you our marketing is second to none. My luxury sellers love our luxury program. We have a commercial division, we have an international division, we have a land and ranch division, we have solutions, we have regis offices. If you want to have an office space, we can talk more about that. You're gonna get access to Regis nationwide to work in their common areas because you're a realtor with the XP Realty. You don't get a private office unless you pay for it, but you can go in there and work in their open area common space, get internet, go hang out at a desk, a place to go if you need to meet clients. We also have the healthcare, which I mentioned earlier, stock programs, incentive award, icon award, build assign, and success lending. So uh if you want to celebrate fast cap agents, here's a couple things you want to look at. So during your first full cohort, fast cappers who completed the minimum recommended daily real talks, which is customer conversation, uh conversations, you're gonna see in just six weeks, this is what they averaged 6.9 appointments per person buying and listing, 3.8 agreements per person buying and listing, uh, which is incredible. So fast cap is a great training program. Just have to commit to it. You know, a lot of agents they'll join our brokerage or another, but they don't want to walk through the training the brokerage has given them. You've it's it's just crucial to do this if you do want a fast start, fast cap with your business. So uh this is fantastic. Here's here's a little bit of abbreviations on uh, and I should say synopsis of what you get. Uh, you can see owning your business, prospecting, your database and lead gen, marketing in your brand, winning with buyers, winning with sellers. Fantastic. Always have some great training to show you. So your CRM of choice. And by the way, before I even tell you about these three CRMs, what is the best CRM? Guess what the answer is? The one you use, right? I'm gonna tell you that from my experience in the business, your best CRM is the one you're actually gonna use. Okay. So we have bold trail, we have lofty, we have close, um, and for some larger teams, uh follow-up boss is also an option for a small amount of money. So, but these are included in your EXP monthly tech fee, your$85 a month. So I currently have bold trail, I like it, I think it works great. The follow up system is nice, it's a clean CRM, easy to use, uh, easy to put tags on there for whether they were a buyer or seller. So I can set them up on a drip campaign. I can continue to stay in touch with them also by getting a hold of. them via text, via phone call, via email, but we you can choose your CRM, which is just an amazing thing. So we also have an AI platform called Myra. So it's the exclusive AI business assistant built to transform agent productivity. Pretty cool. We have our own exclusive AI platform. The revenue share, the revenue share plan, I can tell you you're going to get blown away of what I'm about to show you. EXP Realty agents can receive revenue share income from the sales activity of the productive agents they sponsor into the company. So agents can you can earn uh commissioned income from the sales transaction closed by a personally sponsored capping agent and overall productive agents that are in your group. Productive meaning they're making sales, right? They're out helping buyers and sellers. They're helping closing deals. You can make different um amounts of money depending on how much you want to go into this. And let me say this first of all the majority of the agents at EXP Realty do not participate or decide to do anything with a revenue share plan, which is which is which is fine. There's no pressure, there's no expectation. This is an option if you want to build this and I can tell you it's life changing if you decide to build it. If you don't want to you just want to go out and stay in production and sell real estate totally fine have at it. Okay. You could even skip ahead a little bit if you don't want to see some of this information, but you may want to stick around just to have a smidgen of an idea. So here's how this breaks down and this is really simple. The agent gets 20% on a commission right exp gets a piece of the pie or 20%. So 80 gets agent gets 80 sorry exp gets 20 80 20 split. Now out of that 20% right here bring it over here the uh revenue share is going to get split. So that 20% comes over here half that goes to the company so 10% half that goes to the revenue share. So that 20% is split between the Rev share group which is us the agents and the company gets the other 10% which is pretty generous right you're still making 80% when you're in production. But if you want to get into Rev share the company is very generous. Now if you want to look at the old um frontline um qualifying agent guidelines those will be here but let's just talk about the new ones exp unlocked this last year and said hey here's the thing you can not sponsor any agents uh the company's going to pay you for revenue share for productive agents three tiers deep see the zeros you don't have to sponsor anybody in your first three tiers and they're still going to give you a percentage for revenue share which is kind of cool. So say you you bring on uh Joey and Joey sells four homes one year and Joey has a cousin who lives in the same county or in the same state uh she brings she sells just two homes a year right they're still going to be in your tier you're still going to get a small percentage for revenue share this is amazing. Now when you sponsor when you personally bring in or sponsor or attract five agents you're going to unlock tier four 10 agents for tier five 15 agents for tier six and when you are sponsoring 30 or more agents you're going to be into tier seven. So there's some unique benefits compared to competing brokerages. The revenue share pay now is a button on the EXP app. If you want to just select that you can get your revenue share right away because it's going to deposit into your account you have on file literally right away. It's a great thing. Maybe you're a little short on commissions that month you've got four or five hundred dollars in there you need to just pay your power bill it's a nice feature to have so you're going to get paid regardless of your production the agents underneath you have to be in production meaning they're selling homes uh there's a bonus opportunity for tier one year one it's really nice. It's full transparency. What I love about this app and this company is you can go in I use the app you can look at people that are that you've sponsored or that somebody else has sponsored you can look at their production level you can look at how what percentage capped they are how many deals they've done everything is full transparency. You don't have to email your broker's assistant and wait several days to find out any information you want to um we are revenue share there's other companies out there that are profit share right so they're sharing their revenue with eXp Realty with some other companies they're sharing their profits so which are unknown because they have expenses but with revenue share it's more predictable. So the largest revenue share growth opportunity is seven levels. So when EXP Realty opened up these first three levels it literally gave thousands of agents including myself and my business partner and many other people on our team substantial income raises overnight. Really really nice all right let's go here to the plan chart I'm gonna I'm gonna hit this and again let's have a conversation if you'd like to talk more about it. Let's take for example a$10,000 commission uh the agent's gonna get$8,000 EXP royalty is going to get$2,000 8020 split like mentioned before half that goes to EXP. The other half goes to the revenue share pool to be split amongst the agents so if you're in tier one that's gonna be a 17.5% uh off of this off of this amount this$1,000 is going to go to your pocket right so$175 you're gonna get from that particular agent for that sale. The capping agent minimum payout is$1400 and then I love this this revenue this leftover revenue share uh it pool it's called the pool it it's it's amazing. I can tell you this with ever since they've started this every time that my Rev share comes in and comes due there's always a little bit more on top from this revenue share. And it's just uh it's nothing substantial but it sure is nice for it to go up$100$200 whatever that amount is a little bit more if you have more people you sponsor but it it really does add up. So it's it's just really nice. So you can see the different percentages tier two 20% tier three 12% this is the revenue share pool tier tier 4 tier 5 and then when you hit six it's going to jump way up to 12.5% and then tier seven 25% which is when you're really starting to make some serious monthly income for more of a deep dive with this contact myself below and I can also set up a scheduled meeting with my uh team member Mike Sherard and we can talk more about that. This is also a little bit more the floor to ceiling. So you can see in tier one and tier two uh how this works out and then again the share pool in the revenue share okay so for more explanation the exponential share let's talk more about that let's connect for a meeting I'd love to tell you a little bit more about that so what is the revenue share how does that pass on well it is a villable asset. You know what that means that literally means you can if Lord forbid something happened to you uh your spouse has a certain amount of time to get their license and when they get their license they're gonna be able to assume your revenue share which is a major blessing right so if you've got$3,000 a month coming in they get their license within that time frame and it's going to go to them to provide support for your family forever and every beautiful thing. Retirement plan yeah again we're not the best on planning for retirement plan. So EXP Realty is giving us a share a chance to do that with our revenue share product it is absolutely a beautiful thing. So let's talk about the co-sponsorship this literally is a game changer. I can tell you that right now they started this and it it helps in so many different cases if you've got an agent that you want to that wants to sponsor you, right? And you've got another agent that you need to have locally boots on the ground to to walk through things with you. So let's look at this the co-sponsor program allows an agent or an advisor to have both a primary sponsor and a co-sponsor this means that agents and advisors can benefit from the support and guidance not of one leader or agents but of two while maintaining the structure of EXP's revenue share model. The co-sponsor benefits from revenue from the agent and their downline the co-sponsor benefits from that but their revenue share does not flow up further in the organization right so that's for the co-sponsor so if you look at your primary sponsor right here you're gonna get revenue share levels two through seven right frontline qualifying agent and stock grants if you're a co-sponsor right the the revenue share is not gonna is not going to go back up your upline okay but it's gonna be in your Rev share levels one through seven and you also get a fast start bonus which is really really nice that the primary sponsor is not going to get so there's benefits for both sides. So maybe you are I'm gonna call it an agent that is in Texas or maybe you're in Las Vegas or maybe you're in Washington you're watching this video you may choose to have uh an agent that maybe told you about this company as your primary sponsor and but maybe you're looking for a co-sponsor for additional marketing for additional support right and of course we're happy to help you with either role here uh Brian Stevens with Realtors of Faith and the Wolfpack. We just want to help you honestly so uh but sometimes if again if you're out of state uh and you feel like you need hand holding people to go on appointments with you a co-sponsor is ideal it's an ideal way to do that. So it literally is game changing because you get the best of both worlds right you can have a sponsor and a co-sponsor two realtors building into you with training with help with encouragement with prayer uh knowing that you're gonna be able to access these two sponsors to help you build your business because it does take a village right it's not a one person deal it really does take multiple people to help you out now when you partner with us I am with the Wolfpack group which is with Mike Sherrard you get social media training that is incredible for free and I can tell you it's worth thousands of dollars that alone so um you're gonna see there's Google there's advertising there's weekly live coaches with Mike and his team there's team building there's a brand accelerator there's video mastery he's gonna talk about YouTube Instagram Facebook building ads building your channel that's how I built my YouTube channel I watched one of Mike's tutorials his classes and built it and it's worked so um Mike has helped and the Wolfpack has helped so many other successful agents zooming Kim is a little bit of the poster child because he was a new agent new city no experience he had no YouTube channels no videos in his first year he closed over 87 deals in his first 12 months he's closed over five million dollars in GCI in his first two and a half years with a Wolfpack. Okay this is not a normal thing but we tell you this and share you this to say this is absolutely possible right here's John same thing came from KW no deals for six months with Keller Williams no channel he started getting daily calls after a month he closed 75 deals in his first 12 months with a wolp and he retired his wife from corporate America after one year and there's many other success stories um literally hundreds of video testimonials from agents who have changed their life and I can tell you the wolf pack has helped my real estate career and my online presence and my YouTube channel tremendously there's over Mike has over a hundred plus success story interviews I was privileged to be a part of one. So you're gonna get uh real estate investment training maybe you want to get into investments a lot of people get in real estate because they want to do some investing uh virtual and in-person events for exponential growth we have five live mastermind calls per week five and we just changed our time uh for our one we join on Zoom on Tuesdays to make it uh easy uh a little bit more accessible for people who uh who can it's easier for them to watch so we just rotated the time because people were saying hey can we bump the call to a different time and they just did and I can tell you it's already helping. So uh direct support from our leadership group and then closing calls to help your revenue share organization grow. You may have somebody you're trying to sponsor and bring over maybe it's a team of 10 people we can help you with that. We can coordinate that we can answer all of the questions. All right so the luxury program if you're a luxury agent and in my case what I call luxury in my market in Central Florida and again this is something you can classify is I do over$500,000. I will bring them in because our average price here is about$350 okay in today's market, right? Early 2026. So um if it's over$500 I rotate my listings into that the world class brand advertising and marketing is incredible. The websites they're you're a part of on these uh when you list something that's international I every week email actually the system automatically emails to my luxury clients the updates of uh all the websites they're on how many visitors and how many views they've gotten how much traction they've gotten it's just fantastic so powerful partnerships great presentations you can do that and a great powerful community with global exposure. So something a little bit newer uh is the EXP Sports and entertainment. So maybe you've got connections to that and you've you're in a Los Angeles and Miami you're in a bigger market Philadelphia New York Boston you name it and you think man I need to jump into this you've got some connections you need to check out the new EXP Sports and Entertainment program to get certified to get caught up on that we've also got the EXP land and ranch. So you've got estates you've got land you know you've been asked to sell a major property um you can be a land and ranch expert right with all the technology. So uh let's talk about teams so there's different kinds of teams structure that you can have at EXP Royalty. And so I want you to look at this and see what you may fit in. And by the way if you're a team and you're coming over let's have a conversation because uh which I've done that once with EXP because I want to make sure our team was the way we need to organize it. And after confirming with them I was thinking we're going to move into a different category. This is my personal experience and we ended up staying where we were uh so if you've got questions about this that's a that's a good thing to do. So you can have a domestic partnership it's for legally married or union partners with the same sponsor minimum members are two uh cap options are you share the 16k cap. You're gonna share it as a domestic partnership you are icon eligible so you can become an icon agent one award per partnership to be able to get your$16,000 back cap back in company stock. Okay so self-organized team who it's for any agents and there's no production requirement so you don't have to have some production requirement you can do one deal in a year you can do 10. It doesn't matter the minimum members you have to have one leader and one member this is self-organized. Your cap options is everybody retains the full sixteen thousand dollar cap. So all the team members are on the same cap. Icon eligible yes all can qualify everybody can qualify this is what our team is we're self-organized this worked out best for us um because again we've got some agents that are part-time on our team we have some that are full time so this worked out good for us but this is a great option now there's the standard team which I love this too we looked into this but what the numbers didn't quite plug in for us what does that look like it's for you have to have six million dollars or 30 units minimum in the last 12 months the minimum members again you've got to have one leader and one member now your cap options are when you're with your members can be either 8K where they can cap and go to 100% or a full sixteen thousand dollar cap. But your leader whoever's the leader in that standard team has to have the$16,000 cap. Okay so are they icon eligible with the standard team? Yes as long as they choose the$16,000 cap, which makes sense. If they choose the$8,000 cap and they go to 100% they're not icon eligible okay now if you've got a mega team uh$40 million in um production per year 140 units in past 12 months minimum leader uh minimum members you've got to have one leader and at least 10 members your cap options again you've got more flexibility because you are a mega team$4,000$8,000 or 16 uh again your leader has to be at full cap at$16,000 are they icon eligible? Yes as long as they choose the$16,000 cap. Pretty self-explanatory so if you like more details of maybe what you should jump in um we see probably the most common are the self-organized and the standard these these are pretty common okay um but again you've got this which is great for uh spouses and this is great if you want to bring over a big team and you want flexibility all right so before we end what are the FAQs so how do I get local support again you've got brokers multiple brokers per your state the larger your state the more brokers that you have right you've got local support with that if you've got a sponsor and a co-sponsor you've got local support there um and of course your board is going to be great local support maybe you got some other realtors that are on your team or with exp reality you got a quick question about that they would also be a good local support number two how do I get access to a local office I mentioned earlier we have a partnership with Regis and Regis is a national brand that they have um offices that you can go in free of charge and use their common areas get on the Wi-Fi grab a complimentary cup of water use one of their conference tables uh their little mini desks you can have that if you want an office or a meeting place. Now you can also pay for a private office that's another thing you can do if you if you so choose. Very excited we just got a local Regis in our area and I've been in it they renovated an older building and it turned out really, really nice. Now hey if you want to go you have a small team you want to go rent a thousand square foot office Space and put your team members in there. Absolutely fine. And a lot of teams to bigger teams do that. So, and that's that would be your personal office. Okay. Number three, will I be given leads? EXP Realty is has some fantastic lead generation as part of your CRM that are that are leads that you can get by by using some of their some of their links, some of their backend sites. You could post those on social media to gather leads. So you're not going to like get leads to you free, but there's ways on all of our CRMs to help produce leads, right? By just working the tools that you don't have to pay for them. Now, there's also some options that are um pay leads that you can look on the CRM and choose those. But um, so there's definitely ways that you can get leads. And again, that's a that's another conversation because I know it's a big deal with realtors. How am I getting leads? I'd love to talk to you about that more and give you some practical things that I do to get leads also. So number four, will I be able to access you? Yes, you absolutely will be able to. I'm a real person. I'm a realtor in high production here in the Central Florida area. You will have my cell phone, my email, and you can book a call, a Zoom call with me, um, and we can gather our schedules together. So is EXP a pyramid scheme? Absolutely not. A pyramid scheme is something that there's no product or service to exchange. We are far from that, right? It's so funny because of course those are illegal. We're not an illegal brokerage, right? We've been doing business for a long time and we're 90,000 agents plus. So heck no, we're not a pyramid scheme. Some people want to just lay it out like that. But when you look at all the things we've just talked about, we're a highly functioning business, uh, and everything is absolutely running uh and always improving, by the way. Our leadership, uh, Leo and our and our founder, Glenn, follow those guys on social media. Watch what they say. They are leaders in the industry. And I love them because um they're not talking fluff. You know, Leo, our CEO, was an agent. He had big teams, heavy producer. Now he's our CEO. The guy has nuggets every time he talks. I mean, and he is, I met him uh last year. He is the real deal. Um, so I tell you, it is incredible what our leadership team is doing and it continues to help the agents have an edge. Number six, why exp versus other cloud brokerages? I can tell you, they're all trying to be the man, right? EXP is the man. We are the leading cloud brokerage. Everybody else is trying to be a copycat. Excuse me for that slang about being the man. That was, I've got some young adults for kids, and sometimes my I get into some slang, but uh we are the leader in cloud-based brokerages. The others that are out there, there's two or three out there, they are a wannabe. I can tell you right now, they are so far behind us. Their whole structures are nothing like exp realty. Okay. What if I have already capped at my brokerage? This is awesome. Uh, in fact, when we came over from KW uh three and a half years ago, uh, my business partner was capped. And guess what they did? They honored his cap. They honored his cap until their reset points. So if you're already capped at your brokerage, you can bring that 100% over and to uh, you know, and then they'll form a reset date for you, right? That you will reset, but you can bring your cat your 100% over, which is amazing. More details about that with a conversation, but yes, you can do that. Why do agents leave the XP? Hey, every brokerage has got its personality, its pluses and minuses, right? If um, if you're an agent that does not do well with technology, independent learning along with group learning, you know, which is what we do, maybe cloud-based is just not for you. That's totally fine. There's some great companies out there, by the way, right? Um, what I found is agents have left that maybe you're in our group is because they're not working hard, they're not producing, they're not serious, they're not making their calls, they're not showing up. They're think they're gonna jump in this thing and post up against social media and everybody's gonna call them. And this is not like this business is not like that. In fact, I've got a video on YouTube, and it's 10 things you should be aware of before you get into the real estate business. You should watch that video. Uh, so I found that people leave exp because they're just not willing to roll their sleeves up and really work this business hard. That's been what I've seen personally. Um, what are the cons for EXP? Um, again, we're cloud-based. And if you're not comfortable with a cloud-based brokerage, maybe you need a brick and mortar office to go sit in a class to learn from. Uh, this is probably not the brokerage for you. Um, but I can tell you this most training at brick and mortar offices are going to be very limited. You're they're gonna be okay for a year or two, and then you're gonna get bored and not challenged because they're not staying up to date on the modern ways of marketing and training, which EXP Realty does an amazing job. So, why shouldn't someone join? It just may not be your cup of tea. And I, you know, different strokes for different folks. And so I here's what I would say: let's dive deep, run a call, let's sit down and talk. Um, because here's the thing I'm not gonna try to sell you anything, I will present what we have and then see does this work for you? This may not work for you, but it may be exactly what you're looking for.
