Hello everybody.
SPEAKER_01Bongiorno.
SPEAKER_00Welcome to Connected at the Wheel.
SPEAKER_01Connected at the Wheel.
SPEAKER_00Bongiorno. I suppose.
SPEAKER_01That's Italian, correct?
SPEAKER_00I guess. Manja. Not manja.
SPEAKER_01No, it's manza.
SPEAKER_00Manza.
SPEAKER_01We're not gonna eat, we're gonna race.
SPEAKER_00Yes. Is that what manza means? Race?
SPEAKER_01I don't know. I haven't looked it up.
SPEAKER_00Yes. Um Monza is what is the nickname? The Temple of Speed.
SPEAKER_01Well, yeah, because the old track was the big bank, had some big bank curves and a super long straight, but that's changed. But it's still a fast track. So what is that?
SPEAKER_00Yes, it's a I was looking up to see if the word manza actually meant anything, and it really doesn't.
SPEAKER_01No.
SPEAKER_00Um no, it just all that comes up is the city and the racetrack.
SPEAKER_01This is young and uh young Antonelli's home race?
SPEAKER_00It is, right? Hopefully, but is it because there's that odd dynamic of Ferrari versus Antonelli?
SPEAKER_01The home race is because he's an Italian driver.
SPEAKER_00I know, but it's actually Ferrari's home race, right? Like their factory is a mile away or something.
SPEAKER_01I don't, you know, I've never looked at the geography of Italy, so I don't know where Marinello sits in relation to Romanza.
SPEAKER_00Um so isn't there like a big like But it's a big to-do for Ferrari. Right. But isn't there like a big conflict for for all the Italians out there? Because I doubt it. Do they root for Ferrari or do they root for the the boy wonder?
SPEAKER_01I think they're more mainly rooting for Ferrari, but they'll take Kinney as a for a winner. It gives them more options of people of teams to root for.
SPEAKER_00I suppose. Uh it looks like okay, sorry, um Marinello is about two hours two hours and fifteen minutes from Monza by car.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00So pretty darn close.
SPEAKER_01By American standards, yes.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_01By European standards, yes. You can cross like six country lines.
SPEAKER_00I know. Um, okay, so we are going to Manza.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00Italy. And it is young Antonelli's home race. So what do we think? How how is this gonna how is this gonna turn out for young Antonelli?
SPEAKER_01What do we know? What do I know?
SPEAKER_00I don't know what darn well let's say he gets pole position and qualifying. Where's he starting the race?
SPEAKER_01Oh, 11th, as of now. At least at least, because he is taking a new engine.
SPEAKER_00So he's taking at least a 10 place grid penalty.
SPEAKER_01Right, and if they decide to add more parts, he could be it could be more.
SPEAKER_00Um, is there any way that he could possibly do enough that would start him from pit lane?
SPEAKER_01I don't think that would be maybe, but I don't. So that would depend on where he actually quote qualifies, whether you would take that penalty because otherwise I would rather start my guy in 11th than in pit lane.
SPEAKER_00For sure. Um, interesting. I guess they they chose Monza because it's a passable track. Strategically they chose Monza has long straights, Mercedes fast on the straights.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00It's now is this an engine upgrade? Is this car going to be faster than it was last week?
SPEAKER_01Well, it should be because it's a new engine. You know, newer engines typically run faster than old ones. Um I did also see that they're saying George needs to take a new engine, but it's probably not gonna be this weekend.
SPEAKER_00Oh, really?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Okay. I didn't see that.
SPEAKER_01I think every team is gonna have green. Well, they're gonna want in this season because they're going through engines left and right.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, for sure. Um so other in other news, Ferrari is also bringing an engine upgrade this weekend.
SPEAKER_01Yes, as of last week, they were, then they said they weren't. Now they are. And they're also bringing Michael Schumacher commemorative uniforms. I don't know if the car livery is gonna be different. Um because I saw a picture of Lewis wearing his. It has seven stars on the back. Okay for the seven world championships. But Lewis also has seven world championships.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So is it a Lewis uniform too?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I don't know. Um, why? Why at Monza?
SPEAKER_01Just because it's Ferrari's home race, I suppose.
SPEAKER_00And Schumacher was only Ferrari?
SPEAKER_01No, he drove originally for Jordan, Benetton, Ferrari, then Mercedes. I think that's what I thought.
SPEAKER_00So it doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
SPEAKER_01Most of his career is with Ferrari, and you think he's a good one.
SPEAKER_00And we don't have a German race, so you can't do that the German race.
SPEAKER_01Five championships with Ferrari.
SPEAKER_00So anyway, um, Ferrari is bringing their upgraded. This is their second, a duo.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00Um, so their free upgrade. And it's supposed to give them the ICU, it's supposed to give them an extra 10 to 15 horsepower.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00Uh again, all those horses tripping over each other. Um, and they will not get grid penalties. How many power units are they allowed before they start taking grid penalties? Because this says this marks the introduction of each driver's fourth power unit of the season. So both LeClaire and Hamilton will run the new unit without serving grid drops. So are they allowed for?
SPEAKER_01Maybe. Oh. Maybe I'd be able to do that. Interesting.
SPEAKER_00Or I just assume that under a duo, they don't have to do the grid drops because a duo is giving them that the added money, but the added ability to make these updates without the penalties. No, they're playing on do they only get one, so they I think they were gonna just speaking of a duo, they just had round two of a duo tests.
SPEAKER_01Did you hear of that one? No. Uh-huh. Guess who has the best engine? Red Bull. Still. Really? Yep. Um, they have the best ice ice internal combustion engine. Right. Because that's all a duo test. It does not test the turbo, doesn't test the battery, the battery, the MG UK, is it this year? Yeah. Yeah. Interesting. But all the teams agreed to that. That's how they came up with their standards of testing. All the teams had agreed on that prior. Well, so obviously Ford's doing something right, just the rest of the Red Bull isn't.
SPEAKER_00Well, maybe that's why Max signed the contract. Maybe they showed him what what they have in store for the chassis next year.
SPEAKER_01I don't know. Maybe they're gonna steal Adrian Muy back. I don't know.
SPEAKER_00Well, I don't want him. I mean, let it let him keep doing what he's doing for Aston Martin. See them. You see them running away with it, don't you?
SPEAKER_01Hey, things can change.
SPEAKER_00So anyway, so it'll be an interesting unit interesting weekend for Ferrari. Number one, Ferrari's got basically the all the enthusiasm of the Italians behind him.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00Um, they want to get out there and sing that national anthem, and I I gotta tell you, I really want them to.
SPEAKER_01Oh, it'd be amazing. But on the other standpoint, you have Ferrari strategists standing in the way.
SPEAKER_00I know, right? So, plus, we have the seemingly unstoppable Lando Norris right now.
SPEAKER_01That we do.
SPEAKER_00Um McLaren looks really good. I am a little bit iffy just because I'm like, where is Oscar?
SPEAKER_01Oscar's coming along. I don't know, maybe the new cars don't agree with him. Um however, it's a caveat. Everybody's saying that Hungarrow Ring and Zanford are similar tracks, are at high speed. How will the McLaren do once they get to the high speed track? Me personally, I think they're gonna kill it.
SPEAKER_00Uh remember last year everybody just kept trying to find uh a track that the McLaren wasn't good at? It's very difficult to find. They're quick in the corners, they're quick on the straights. I mean, they haven't this year so far, Ben, but Lando is looking really great.
SPEAKER_01The first part of the year, they were they had issues, but that they've steadily come along, and Landau is just hitting his prime right at the moment, I guess. He's actually showing why he won the drivers' championship last year.
SPEAKER_00Oh no, I know. I think it I think Lando is really show regardless of where he ends up in the drivers' championship. I think that some of these where he's coming back, and he's like it's almost like he's saying in some cases, like last week, it was he got passed by Kimmy and he was like, nope. But he kept us cool, took his time until he got back in front, and it was just um starting to see the fire. And and maybe looking at the lizard.
SPEAKER_01Oh, we have lots of lizards, not pets, just lizards.
SPEAKER_00Just around. Sometimes they're sometimes look like they're running on the air because they run up the screen.
SPEAKER_01And sometimes they're cat food.
SPEAKER_00Oh, they're often cat food.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. But anyways, back to Lando. Maybe his last two wins has something to do with him extending his contract at McLaren.
SPEAKER_00Maybe.
SPEAKER_01To 2030, just like Max.
SPEAKER_00Oh, he well, he did that.
SPEAKER_01Who?
SPEAKER_00He did that over this last week, right? Yes. Yes.
SPEAKER_01And part of his contract.
SPEAKER_00But we all knew he wasn't going anywhere.
SPEAKER_01And part of his contract, he was gifted one of his cars from last year.
SPEAKER_00Oh, really?
SPEAKER_01So he has one of his championship winning cars. Nice private stable.
SPEAKER_00That is awesome. I think that that's reason enough to stay a couple more years. And he doesn't plan to leave. He doesn't plan to go anywhere.
SPEAKER_01No, and he's he's him and Max are similar in the regards that they were development drivers to those teams and they've been there the whole time, and now they're both staying at the 23rd. Yeah, and they're very loyal. Which is not something always seen in F1. I think in modern times, there's a lot more, there's a lot less jumpers. Jumpers, drivers jumping from team to team to team.
SPEAKER_00I mean, back when I used to watch in the in the midfield, in the backfield, we see a lot more of that. Like signs.
SPEAKER_01Well, some of that wasn't his own doing, though.
SPEAKER_00Right. A lot of times it's not their own doing. I don't think that's you know, you gotta be a good enough driver. You you get picked up when you get dropped. Right.
SPEAKER_01It's back in the Sena Prost, Mansell days, they would drive a team two years, then they'd go to the Ryal.
SPEAKER_00Probably whoever's the highest bidder that two years.
SPEAKER_01Uh-huh. Which I also I thought made things interesting.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. I think I think that's why you didn't see also though dynasties back then, like you do. I mean, with Schumacher, obviously it started, but seeing Hamilton win seven in a row, and then Max win four in a row. It's I think that that also has something to do with signing on to a team, staying on with the team, and growing together as opposed to every time you hop. You know, I always say that about when you get a new job.
SPEAKER_01Um, I feel like it takes 18 months before you I just want to correct Hamilton only won four in a row. Oh he didn't get all seven consecutive.
SPEAKER_00Well, you know what I mean, though. Right. Right. The four in a row were with Mercedes. Right. Well, yeah. Who were the other three with?
SPEAKER_01Well, he had two. Or two, one. No, I can't even think. He had one or two with McLaren when he drove for them prior to Mercedes. I think maybe it just won with McLaren.
SPEAKER_00And then he won one, Nico won one, and then he won four with Mercedes.
SPEAKER_01I think he won four, and then Nico won in 2016. Maybe it was, maybe he did win the four prior. So he would have won 2017, 18, 19, 20. Yes, he won the four after Nico won.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_01But you talk about that, Sebastian Bettle won four in a row with Red Bull. Max has won four in a row with Red Bull. Schumacher, I believe, had five in a row of Ferrari.
SPEAKER_00So do you see a lot of people who I mean the thing is, do you jump from a winning team?
SPEAKER_01Not typically. And I had Mercedes not throw out that turd of a car in 22, the beginning of the whole round effect era, I think Hamilton would still be with Mercedes. The car started to come around the last year when he left, went to Ferrari, and then of course Mercedes nails it after he leaves with the new car.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I I I think that was but then again, maybe he had a little nudging because they wanted Kimmy in there so bad.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Uh-huh. And well, whatever, for whatever reason, he's Ferrari now. It just seems normal now.
SPEAKER_01Yes. Um year and a half in.
SPEAKER_00So we're looking at the current standings. Obviously, Kimmy is still in the lead.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_00George Russell and Lewis have the same number of points, but George has one more win.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_00So they are number two and three, and then Lando is number four. Coming up quick.
SPEAKER_01Of the first five races, how many did they? I think there was one race he didn't even race at all. Didn't finish the others.
SPEAKER_00And then Charles is number five. Charles is 28 points behind Lewis. When is Ferrari going to make a call and get behind Lewis to give him every shot there is? Again. They have to. He's in third place right now, and there is no way Charles is leapfrogging Lando.
SPEAKER_01No. I well again, Ferrari's strategies get in their own way. I don't like it, but I think the ship has sailed on Lewis being in contention. I think it's going to come down between Kimmy and Lando. I just do.
SPEAKER_00It may. It depends on what the car looks like after this weekend.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I mean, if they get this great upgrade, Ferrari could be right up in the front.
SPEAKER_01They might. But McLaren's upgrades have always worked for they don't have an upgrade this weekend. Well, I'm just saying their development strategy has always been.
SPEAKER_00So and as the can season continues, we're more than halfway through. And honestly, any given weekend it could be any given winner of these top three teams.
SPEAKER_01I mean, because didn't Oscar have a larger lead last year at this point? Just about.
SPEAKER_00This is about where the turnaround started, I believe.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but I think Oscar had like a 95-point lead. Something. We'd have to look it up exactly.
SPEAKER_00But what it was at.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00Um, okay. So um all we have left to do is our predictions.
SPEAKER_01I've got a just a quick question.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01What teams have not locked down their drivers?
SPEAKER_00For next year?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I can only think of how to do that.
SPEAKER_00Aston Martin.
SPEAKER_01Oh, well, okay.
SPEAKER_00Alpine.
SPEAKER_01Alpine's. Well, they did sign Colapinto.
SPEAKER_00They did?
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00They didn't re-sign Gasly yet, did they?
SPEAKER_01Is his contract up?
SPEAKER_00I don't know, but there was still a question about Fernando going to Alpine.
SPEAKER_01Because I know Colapinto signed. I thought that was prior to last week.
SPEAKER_00Cadillac? I don't know if they had multi-year contracts or not. Right.
SPEAKER_01Sergio says he wants to stay with them for at least three, three more years.
SPEAKER_00Williams has signed. Has Nico re-signed with Audi?
SPEAKER_01I'm not sure.
SPEAKER_00Has Bordoletto? So I don't I think there's a lot that haven't. We don't know who the Racing Bulls are going to be next year.
SPEAKER_01Well I know.
SPEAKER_00We don't know who the other Red Bull is going to be next year.
SPEAKER_01It's hard to make an argument to take it away from Isaac.
SPEAKER_00Well, it depends on how long he's going to be out now.
SPEAKER_01He's trying to get back for next week.
SPEAKER_00Well, and wrist breaks can be tricky.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Plus, with vibe like I think about the Aston with the vibration. Hopefully Red Bull hasn't had that issue, but that could aggravate a wrist if you have to hold on to a they need to be pretty nimble with their fingers.
SPEAKER_01Well be interesting. Lance did it with two broken wrists.
SPEAKER_00I know. But we can't all be Lance, Joel.
SPEAKER_01He is Superman.
SPEAKER_00Yes. Um he has good hair. I could say that about him. So there's a lot of it anyway.
SPEAKER_01So the silly season isn't so silly.
SPEAKER_00No, it really isn't.
SPEAKER_01No. I mean, no one I really see for sure not becoming not coming back is Okan. And Haas did have three drivers doing TPC testing previous cars last week. Um their reserve driver Rio. I can't even think of his name. I had it.
SPEAKER_00Is it Fornelli or something like that?
SPEAKER_01Or uh well. I'm making things up. I know. I mean, I had it pulled up here. Rio Hirakawa. Then they also had Leonardo Fornarelli, who was what, 2025 F2 champ? And Rafael Camara, all over testing.
SPEAKER_00Okay.
SPEAKER_01And he's what currently number one, I think, in F2. I don't follow F2, sorry everybody.
SPEAKER_00I I really would like to start following F2.
SPEAKER_01It's just Oh, he's a it says current F2 title contender.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Yeah, I would like to start at least their sprint races would be cool to watch.
SPEAKER_01So excuse me. Um they got three drivers gunning for his position.
SPEAKER_00So in 2025. Wait. That's who is that that you said have have all three of those? Haas. Haas. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Um I think is signed. Or maybe he's not, but I don't think it's seasonal.
SPEAKER_00I can't see getting rid of him, but he's got a last few races haven't been very good. He started the season strong.
SPEAKER_01Haas has not been very good. For in general, Haas started strong and then they've fallen off.
SPEAKER_00Well, we'll see what happens, right? So anyway, there's still there is still a lot of things. Oh, but they could all just keep signing.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00Like in the place, too. But there's still a lot of things that could happen.
SPEAKER_01So but none of the big teams. All the big teams are set and secure.
SPEAKER_00Right.
SPEAKER_01Right. With maybe a question at Red Bull, but I don't think it is.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Um. So last year Max won. So this is like Bonza? The second one. I think did he win Zambort and then that's like when he started to kind of sneak his way down?
SPEAKER_01He did not win Zamport last year. Okay.
SPEAKER_00I think so maybe I think Lando did. This might have been a turnaround. Um when he kind of started getting some wet pepper and some winds in there. Because was it it was a Zanport Horner's last race last year? No, it was Silverstone.
SPEAKER_01It was Silverstone?
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00I believe. Um I that's what my memory says, and my memory is extremely flawed. So you might want to check that. But um last year's race made history because it had the fastest average speed of 250 kilometers per hour.706.
SPEAKER_01I don't think that's happening this year.
SPEAKER_00The race winning the the lap time was one minute 1324 325. So we would be interesting to see if they where they are in in in comparison to a minute 13. Right. Minute 13 and a half, say. Um, was about what they ran last time. So we'll see how fast it goes this time. But I am not thinking Max is gonna be winning this race.
SPEAKER_01Does this mean you're gonna pull him off your fantasy?
SPEAKER_00I am, I'm gonna pull him, and I may even pull Kimmy, I'm not sure.
SPEAKER_01Because of the grid drop?
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah, I just don't know. I plus this is a this is a big this was where Kimmy started to have a downturn last year, wasn't it? In Monza, he brought all his schoolmates and it might have been, yeah.
SPEAKER_01I think Kimmy's focus is a lot better this year. I think he didn't know.
SPEAKER_00I think Kimmy's focus is a lot better. I have every confidence that Kimmy's gonna win this championship. I just think that Monza might mess with him a little bit.
SPEAKER_01Too much pressure?
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Could be.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Starting back, wanting to climb around. I could see him like really feeling like he's gotta make some overtakes and maybe messing something up.
SPEAKER_01Track limits maybe get time penalties, or you think it's gonna be.
SPEAKER_00I think it's like actually causing a crash or something. So we'll see. We'll see. I'm hoping not. I'm hoping he proves me wrong.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00Um our our schedule for the weekend is Friday, September 4th, 6 30 a.m. free practice one. We'll be watching the highlights later in the day.
SPEAKER_01True.
SPEAKER_0010 a.m. free practice two, most likely watching the highlights later in the day because that's a Friday, and I won't even be home. I'll be on my way home.
SPEAKER_01I'll be working.
SPEAKER_00And then um Saturday the fifth, six thirty a.m., free practice three. I don't know what I just said. Free practice three. I think I said feed practice.
SPEAKER_01Oh, on Saturday at six thirty? Yes. So when do we get in the qualifying round? Ten a.m. on Saturday. Okay.
SPEAKER_00We have qualifying. So That's when all our fantasy and everything needs to be locked in by 10 a.m. on Saturday, and the race is at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00It's kind of nice. It's going to be a hot weekend in Monza. Um, the midday, the high temperatures are in the low 90s, so 90-91 Fahrenheit.
SPEAKER_01I have no idea what that feels like.
SPEAKER_00Obviously, so the 6 30, I don't know what that should be about 12.30. It's it's probably gonna be in the upper 80s by that point in the morning, some of the morning, early. If they do anything in the early morning, it might be in like the 70s. But for hot weekend, and looks like about a 5% chance of rain all weekend. So I'm not thinking we're gonna see any.
SPEAKER_01No, probably not. We're not getting any light races this year. I don't know. Maybe Brazil.
SPEAKER_00I am holding hope out for Brazil. Brazil always seems to bring a good time.
SPEAKER_01Sure.
SPEAKER_00Maybe that's where we consider going to a race.
SPEAKER_01Possibly.
SPEAKER_00Um, okay, so all we have left, unless you have anything else. All we have left is our predictions.
SPEAKER_01Oh my goodness.
SPEAKER_00I have mine written down.
SPEAKER_01I live for the moment.
SPEAKER_00So, well, I know. So I'm gonna let you tell me yours. And mine are already there. You can verify.
SPEAKER_01Who do you want?
SPEAKER_00Pole position? Pole position.
SPEAKER_01I think Lando's untouchable. Lando.
SPEAKER_00Okay. One, two, three.
SPEAKER_01I think Kimmy's gonna qualify second, but this grid drop lobby seemed from back.
SPEAKER_00That's not what I asked. We're going to the race one, two, three. Oh. We don't do poll. We don't do you want to predict?
SPEAKER_01Oh, I thought you were predicting poll.
SPEAKER_00Do you want to predict the first three qualifiers? It doesn't matter because you gave me poll was Lando.
SPEAKER_01I know. And I think Lando's gonna win the race.
SPEAKER_00Okay. And then who'd you have in second?
SPEAKER_01Oh, will Kimmy make it back up? That's my question. I'm gonna say Frara pulls her head out of their proverbial rear end, and Lewis gets second. And Kimmy's gonna be third. He just can't quite pass everybody he needs to. But he will probably end up passing Lewis and taking second just to prove me wrong.
SPEAKER_00Okay, let me just turn my computer around so you can see my predictions.
SPEAKER_01Where am I looking? Oh, prediction. Lando propole, Lando for the win, Hamilton second. And LeClerc?
SPEAKER_00Third.
SPEAKER_01Third.
SPEAKER_00I'm putting some faith in the Ferrari upgrades this weekend.
SPEAKER_01I know. I just don't know if it's enough. I don't know if it's enough power to just.
SPEAKER_00And you know, logic indicates that, hey, if Kimmy's really in that good of a car, he's got the good job. Shouldn't we be putting George up there? But I just refuse to do it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. Um, I did see something. I didn't read it because I don't really care that much. Gunther Steiner thinks that Mercedes has shifted towards back and Kimmy. After last week. Little George let Kimmy through. They think that maybe they've made the shift to that it's going to be team orders for the rest of the year.
SPEAKER_00When in when there's a question, yeah.
SPEAKER_01When it just makes sense. They really need to prioritize Kimmy.
SPEAKER_00I'm sorry, but when it when if it's a question, it makes sense. Anytime there's a question, somebody gets a few extra points, they go to Kimmy. Unless George is in his own right about to get on the podium. I do not believe you take a podium away from another driver. That's in their own right. But if it's a Kimmy's faster coming up, George, you're not battling. Kimmy's faster, he's passing. Like that I can see. I just wouldn't see like necessarily saying Kimmy's slower, give him the position. Like that I don't agree with.
SPEAKER_01I mean, if he's coming up on them, yeah. We'll see.
SPEAKER_00But if it comes to a question of we have an upgrade to put on the car this weekend, we don't have enough for two cars, they go to Antonelli.
SPEAKER_01They, you know, that kind of I don't know if Mercedes ever done that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01It's just usually your lower teams don't have enough parts for both cars.
SPEAKER_00Right. But well, Racing Bulls just had that happen.
SPEAKER_01Did they?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, remember? Um it went based on qualifying from the race from this from the week prior when every other session of that weekend Lawson had been quicker, but Arvid was quite quicker for that one qualifying session and got the upgrade.
SPEAKER_01I don't know if I could consider Racing Bowls a major team.
SPEAKER_00Well, they're close. I mean, they're they're clear, they're fair they're legitimately in the midfield. Well, you when people say midfield, like that's who you're talking about. Right now, it I it baffles my mind that I say Alpine. Alpine and Racing Bowls are literally the midfield.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00They're in between the good cars and the bad cars.
SPEAKER_01Well, Alpine has a good engine this year. They have a Mercedes par player.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Instead of trying to make their own.
SPEAKER_00Okay. Well, so we've got our predictions. Um we're putting this out early this week because I have to head to the airport.
SPEAKER_01In just a couple hours.
SPEAKER_00Um, got some excitement. Excitement mid-country this week. Gonna be in Kansas City.
SPEAKER_01Barbecue.
SPEAKER_00For an animal health show. Then I have to make my way to the West Coast for a customer meeting in Oktoberfest.
SPEAKER_01Octoberfest.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, there's a um EDA, there's a pre parental drug association event on Thursday evening. It's Oktoberfest vendor event. So we're gonna go there. Yeah, well, it's almost September. No, it's September. It's September 3rd. Oktoberfest is always in September.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, okay. I forget. It's gonna be September.
SPEAKER_00So yeah, so we're going there. I'm gonna be there at the Oktoberfest and then I'm gonna have my boss drop me off at the airport for my red eye. It's perfect.
unknownIt's great.
