Episode 4

Clint Malarchuk is best known for his time in the NHL as a fearless goaltender with the Buffalo Sabres, but his most important battle wasn’t fought on the ice - it was the one for his own mental health. After surviving one of the most horrific injuries in sports history, Clint faced a long road of PTSD, depression, and near tragedy. But through resilience, therapy, and the powerful connection he found with horses, he not only healed but dedicated his life to helping others do the same.

Now an equine dentist and chiropractor, Clint spends his days working with horses in a hands-on way, seeing firsthand the trust and understanding these incredible animals offer. He is also the founder of The Ranch: Teammates for Life, a sanctuary dedicated to supporting athletes, first responders, and anyone struggling with mental health.

Today, we’ll hear about Clint’s journey from the crease to the corral, go deep inside the NHL with some great hockey stories, and learn about a racehorse named Malarchuk! You don’t want to miss it.
