One hundred episodes. Countless stories. Endless laughs. And a community we're incredibly grateful to share this journey with.

In this special 100th episode of the Palm & Pine Podcast, we're taking a trip down memory lane to revisit some of our favorite moments from the first 100 episodes. From unforgettable stories and running jokes to some of the most outrageous Florida headlines we've ever covered, this episode is a celebration of everything that has made Palm & Pine what it is today.

We kick things off by revisiting Episode 1, when Stere introduced us to the legendary "Cracker Business Marketing Techniques," followed by Professor Barlow's timeless lesson on how "time dilation" somehow works differently in the South.

No Palm & Pine retrospective would be complete without looking back at some of Florida's most unforgettable criminals—including El Bandito Número Uno, the infamous Costco bandit whose bizarre crime spree left everyone asking, "Why?"

We also dust off our confiscated bling as we revisit our Ode to Sheriff Judd, one of the show's most memorable and laugh-out-loud moments.

Most importantly, this milestone episode is dedicated to our dear friend, John C. Jones, known to so many simply as Chris (1971–2026). Chris was our very first guest, appearing in Episode 2, and his friendship, humor, and love of Florida history helped shape the Palm & Pine Podcast from the very beginning. At the conclusion of today's episode, we share a heartfelt tribute in his memory and celebrate the lasting impact he had on us and so many others.

As a special thank-you, the full video version of this milestone episode is available to all on Patreon.

Whether you've been with us since the beginning or you're just discovering the show, thank you for being part of these first 100 episodes. Here's to the stories we've shared, the friends we've made, and the adventures still to come.

Thank you for listening, laughing, and celebrating with us. Here's to the next 100!
