Hi everybody and welcome back to the eSpot. I'm your host, RG Breeze, and you already know we're getting into what's hot, what's trending, and what's everybody's talking about this week in entertainment. So let's get into it, shall we? Now, let's talk about the Academy Awards recap. The Oscars rock the glamour, the fashion, and of course, the moments. From stunning red carpet looks to emotional accepted speeches. Hollywood showed up and showed out. Like always, there were some surprises and a few snubs that people were talking about. And performances that definitely set the tone for the night. And the center state. Oh my goodness, right? Alright, so let me get back on track. Sorry. Social media is still buzzing about sh who should have won and who actually won. And let's not forget those very viral moments. You remember that moment where um it was when dad's like, well, how do I look? And she has oral dress, I'm not gonna make the names, but you see it. I know you see that, but yes. And she's like, and the Oscar goes to like, oh my goodness, those viral moments. Oh my goodness. I know you saw it because I saw it too. Had everybody rewinding their TVs now. But overall, it was a nice celebrating film, creativity, and the power of storytelling. Yes. So we have to say, like, yes, everybody are winners, whether you were nominated or not, whether you were part of a project that didn't win, you are still a winner because it is Hollywood is hard. And I mean, it's beautiful, and like the amount of work people put into their stuff and their projects is just awesome, you know? And so, yeah, and their abilities and their talents, you know, acting and putting on a song of someone else and making it come to light. Even writing that stuff, you know, it's just like how it all comes together. It's just awesome, okay? So, yes, big ups to everybody who won and who did not win because you know, it is I know it's hard, okay? I am doing this remotely. Okay. Alright, so it's very hard to get things together and let it all come together. So, alright, okay, let me stay on track. Now, let's talk about Curdy D. She's on tour, right? I told you, like, if you went to her tour and because the city said she was in, like, you know, this tour is banging. Like, she she didn't, like, she said she was gonna do it. Like, you know, it's just awesome. Like, it's just like when she just walks out, and you know, whether she walks out with her daughter or when she walks out and her like those outfits are just banging. Oh my goodness, you know, and and those dancers, everybody's on point. Yes, yes. Now, Cardi B is no stranger to headlines, and this week she got the internet talking again with that with her shows. It's just awesome. It's just every whether you're in Detroit, whether you're in Kansas City, I mean, whether she brings somebody on stage, I mean, it is that tour is amazing. Like, oh my goodness, and she's such a performer. Like, mm-mm. I can't wait till she comes to my city. Yeah, she gets into the internet talking again. Let me stay on point, okay? Whether it's on the filtered opinions or social media moments or moves in the music and business, Kirty continues to approve why she stays on top. Fans are loving her bold energy, and you already know every time she speaks on a she speaks, it sparks a conversation. And one thing about Curdy, she's gonna say what she wants, when she wants, and we are all gonna tune in. Right? Right, okay? Yes, and like it's going up, up, up. Okay, let me stay on point. Alright, now we're gonna switch gears for a little bit. This couple cannot get a break. I want, I want y'all to leave this, leave them alone. Stop. Don't in like stop. Stop whatever you're doing. Stop it. Yeah, y'all. Oh, it's you now you're talking about the dynamic of this power couple. You know, everybody's gonna have, like, everybody's gonna have their opinions, but I understand, but come on. You know, it is. I think it's okay right now, you know? Now, this couple, Prince Harry, is speaking out and shutting down claims about his relationship and dynamic with his wife, Megan Markle. A new report from Variety published on March 17, took a closer look at the couple's Hollywood ventures, especially involving their partnership with Netflix following their 2020 deal. The report also comes on the heels of news that Meghan Markle's lifestyle brand As Ever, which was originally developed with Netflix, is now moving forward independently without the streamer's involvement. Now, here's where things get interesting, right? The article also includes claims about how the couple interacts during meetings with sources, suggesting that Megan sometimes speaks over Prince Harry or refrains his thoughts in mid-conversation. Can we all just live, okay? Alright, but the couple is not letting that narrative slide. In response, their attorney, Michael J. Crump, called the claim misleading and said it appears to play into unfair and sexist stereotypes about Megan. And Prince Harry himself is speaking up, reportingly calling the claims categorically boss. Which is rare since he doesn't often publicly respond to media speculation. As of now, Netflix has not commented, and representatives for the couples are keeping things brief with no additional statements. And we will stay tuned to that one, right? Like always. Now, moving on to the next family drama: a custody speech involving former NBA star Dwight Howard is making headlines this week. According to court documents obtained by People magazine, Howard's ex Tiffany Rinder has been denied an emergency request for temporary custody for their 15-year-old daughter Layla. Rinder filed a request on March 16th, citing that she described as a serious and immediate concern about her daughter's well-being and safety. In the filing, she alleged that Layla had recently been admitted to a mental health facility after expressing thoughts of self-harm. She also claimed that her daughter has expressed fear and emotional stress about returning to her father's home, which she believes contributed to the situation. The filing further states that the matter led into involvement to Georgia the Vision of Family and Children's Services. And at this time, neither Dwight, Howard, nor Tiffany Renner has publicly responded to requests for comment. Yes, now moving to family drama to legacies.
