welcome, welcome, welcome slippers. We are slipping it in with you and people.
Speaker 3We are fucking blowing it up, oh we are. And if you're not listening yet, that's on you, that's your questionable life choice, but like get on board, people are loving it, loving it Like oh, the testimonies.
Speaker 4The messages that people are getting from us. It's not just like people are having fun, but people are. We're really.
Speaker 3We're changing lives.
Speaker 4We are a bright light.
Speaker 3One slipper at a time. One slip at a time but we're looking for more. We are Always.
Speaker 2So always tell people about us. But let me just say we've had a lot going on in the slip it in world, so this was a big bravo week, with real housewives of miami airing two days in a row, which has never happened before. So, jj, you got creative I mean, they're my besties.
Real Housewives of Miami Special
Speaker 4Now I would say who are you? Wow, I mean, what housewives like gertie, I mean we, we gie-fy our Slip of the Hand podcast.
Speaker 3I love that.
Speaker 4So we did a little bit. So this week they actually had a. I don't, megan, correct me if I'm wrong. I think that this has never happened in Bravo.
Speaker 2I can't think of a time.
Speaker 4For Real Housewives. Have a two day Kind of a two day special, A two day hour For the Real Housewives. Have a two-day kind of a two-day special, a two-day hour for the Real Housewives of Miami, which Megan and I have been talking about. Like, this is the Housewives that has been hitting home runs after home runs this season.
Speaker 2Who doesn't love a cocky?
Speaker 4Exactly, oh my god. It makes an appearance every episode, so when I saw that announced by Bravo, I'm like it is our time to slip right that in, and so we created a little bit of an ad, and Gertie, Lisa, Adriana and also Kiki were all in it.
Speaker 2And they reposted us. Weren't they also giving you like commentary or DMs?
Speaker 4Well, I do like that Kiki called me a babe and not a pappy. I'll tell you that that's interesting. She got the memo.
Speaker 2I also have to say I loved if anyone saw Watch what Happens Live. This week he had on Seth Rogen who is apparently a huge Bravo fan and his commentary and going off on the Valley Reunion, below Deck and other Bravo shows was amazing. And he said he didn't even know Jax when he first met him years ago when he did a Vanderpump Rules episode and he thought he was on coke then. And now Jax has admitted to being on coke and he is a Detroit native. Just a tight end to local celebrities.
Speaker 4So Andy was asking if he was actually too hard on Jax. I don't think he was.
Speaker 3I don't think so at all. I don't think I personally wouldn't like to devote any more time to the Jax storyline. Well, I mean we do have.
Speaker 4It is Jax, you should open.
Speaker 2that can I just want to, how about I?
Speaker 4wanted to slip that in.
Speaker 2We have much greater, bigger news, as Maddie's alluding to as Maddie's alluding to Bigger and blonder Yep. We've been in communication with a 90s superstar, fitness guru and legend, susan Powder.
Speaker 3All right, hey, if you're Gen Z, google it.
Speaker 4Chad GPT. Yes, Susan is with us.
Speaker 3She be fame. She was huge and amazing, but but then she gets really thin, well, oh, you mean huge.
Speaker 1She was like. She was like the fitness.
Speaker 2Oprah.
Speaker 3Okay, wow yeah.
Speaker 2So well, I should say we thought we were in communication with Susan. But before I get into that, I want to just like highlight who Susan Powder is. She quickly rose to fame in the 90s with her catchphrase Stop the Insanity.
Speaker 4I remember. Yes, who doesn't? I love when Megan brings it into facts.
Speaker 2Who doesn't she's a facts girl.
Speaker 3She should have been an archaeologist.
Speaker 2She was an attractive woman with a very buzzed hairstyle and she gave no holds barred fitness and food advice. She was all about clean eating before it was cool, and she's known for her very energetic Personality. So I was recently reconnected and reminded about Susan after her appearance on Jeff Lewis Live, which you love. So her story was so fascinating that I, like, couldn't stop thinking about her, because I immediately remembered how much I loved her and watched her show and read her books back in the 90s.
Speaker 4You love the platinum blonde. Did she have a show? Yeah, she had a.
Speaker 3TV show yeah.
Speaker 2And she had three New York Times bestseller books. Oh wow.
Speaker 3She had read his question. He's like if you're a celeb and you put a book out, how does it?
Speaker 2Oh, OK, I think her celebrity started with her first book Stop the Insanity.
Speaker 3But listeners, you know where I'm going Like, how does every book become a bestseller?
Speaker 1She had fitness videos.
Speaker 3Oh, I know.
Speaker 2She sold product on QVC.
Speaker 3She was, yes, I was in love with the whole vibe, I agree Amazing woman. She changed the narrative, I think, in that moment of time and filled a niche and a gap that needed to be filled and, like everyone and she was relatable.
Speaker 2I would say she was relatable. Yes, she was able to talk to people in ways that made people change their mindset and ultimately, her whole fitness empire was valued at 50 million dollars wow, are you?
Speaker 3wow? No, she was major and so she was messaging you. Well, yeah, maybe oh so I might have more, I might have jumped the gun, tell us the tea I want to hear well, before I get there, I want to like just tell you just who's the storyteller now?
Speaker 2because her story is like so fascinating people should know. She was at the height of what you can be in the entertainment fitness world and because of bad deals, bad contracts, she was basically losing 50% of everything she made and out of her 50% all expenses were being taken out. So literally she was doing all the work and probably making less than 25%, and these other people were making everything off of her hard work.
Speaker 3I feel like it feels very, very much like of that time frame. Yes for sure. All like thank God, we're in a new era, yeah.
Speaker 2So basically, she ended up with nothing.
Speaker 3That's an Easter egg.
Speaker 2Yeah, and started turning to. Grubhub to make a living, so she is a Grubhub to make a living, so she is a. Grubhub delivery driver.
Speaker 3Well, I was supporting her.
Speaker 2Well, she's in Vegas.
Speaker 3Order by order.
Speaker 2She's in Vegas, and then she's now left Grubhub and is now with Uber Eats. So anyway, she typically works the morning breakfast delivering. Oh, she's still at morning breakfast she's delivering.
Speaker 4Oh, she's still at Grubhub. Yes, yes, Uber Eats.
Speaker 2Uber Eats delivering the morning deliveries. And she just wrote a memoir that is self-published, called and Then Em Died. Stop the Insanity. A memoir by Susan Powder. You can get it on Amazon for $12.99. Susan powder you can get it on amazon for 12.99. But the bigger news is she's had a documentary made about her that's produced by jamie lee curtis.
Speaker 2That just premiered at film festivals it is being shopped around well, it's about to be shopped around on your favorite streamer. But, as maddie alluded to, we weren't sure what we had. Once I told my fascination about Susan Potter to Maddie and JJ and they read her book. We're like we have to like get into her. So we started following her on Instagram, followed her on TikTok. Well, after following her on TikTok, the next morning we wake up to Susan.
Speaker 4You woke up to her Well, well yeah we yeah, we did well. She's a manager, correct, and we woke up.
Speaker 2If you have not followed, please yeah please follow on tiktok and instagram, not like this and facebook I'm also managing the x, so come on over. Let's keep those tweets coming Anyway.
Speaker 3Zeets. I think they're Zeets.
Speaker 2They're called Zeets.
Speaker 3Now they're Zeets oh wow, because it's no longer Twitter. It's Axe and Zeets.
Speaker 2So anyway, we woke up to Susan liking every post we've ever put on TikTok.
Speaker 3Let me tell you what I woke up to. Tell me we can say we, because that's correct.
Speaker 4But she was the first.
Speaker 3Megan was the first to check it. What we woke up to is wow, susan's very busy this morning. Yes, and I. When I woke up an hour later, I was like something seems amiss, something seems amiss. Then I was like or her assistant seems a mess, Well it seems a mess.
Speaker 2Then I'll call her Tick tock. Susan immediately was deeming us on tick tock and again over the moon, but suspicious.
Speaker 4So we Megan was very excited Well of course.
Speaker 1Oh.
Speaker 2I mean please, she's an icon, she is an icon.
Speaker 3Oh, wait, a minute, hold on, because it's an icon. Okay, I was gonna do this, but it's also can be an abbrev for iconic icon or I.
Speaker 4That's what you were referring to, like I don't know what she was going for, but I'll take it either way.
Speaker 3Go ahead, carry on.
Speaker 2We asked Susan to be on the pod, which she quickly agreed to for a $400 honorarium. Okay, which?
Speaker 4honorarium $400 is not bad.
Speaker 2Well, no, but that's not English speak. Normally you would say an appearance fee or something.
Speaker 3You mean the word honorarium? Yes, Immediately also was like another red flag our feathers were up. I mean, I love a site, our feathers were up.
Speaker 2So anyway, we believe she might be a fake. With a little more digging into susan powder's link tree account, we realized she doesn't have a tiktok account. So red flag, red flag, but I've reached out to the real susan powder.
Speaker 3Oh, please stand up and please stand up, yep stop this insanity.
Taylor Swift's New Album Strategy
Speaker 2So we'll see. We're waiting to hear back okay, so the drama is unfolding well, and in the meantime we have maybe scheduled tiktok susan to be on the pod, so stay tuned oh, oh, my god, I love the drama, yeah there's a lot of drama. It was like I said this is a lot going on in the.
Speaker 4Slip it in, I would love to have, like tiktok susan, to just like, get some tea with us and we'll get the tea. Yeah, what's really happening there? Speaking?
Speaker 3of tea my friend. Yes, tell us about your recent trip. Didn't you take a trip?
Speaker 4I did take a trip to the west side of michigan to um visit a friend. Um that it's been like more of a. I would say like we connected probably three years ago and it's become like a little bit of a pen pal, but it's like you know, it was just like nice to connect, like reconnect, and I think you're being a little bit gated, I don't know what you want to know about it. I mean, you can ask me.
Speaker 4I'm an open book oh, okay, so he lives he lives in a different state, not michigan, I'm not gonna name it fair enough, and he came into town.
Speaker 3He's got family around here, so okay, and so we wanted to connect.
Speaker 4We always wanted to connect all this uh always. So we want to make sure that.
Speaker 3We spend some time together. Were you playing the role of side?
Speaker 4I'm not a side.
Speaker 2What is a side?
Speaker 3What do you mean?
Speaker 4By definition.
Speaker 2You said you were playing the role of a side. What is a side?
Speaker 3Not like a sidekick. I'm not a side. What is a side? Not like a sidekick. But have you heard? I'm sure you've heard of?
Speaker 2tops and bottoms. I know what a sidekick is.
Speaker 3Have you heard of tops and bottoms.
Speaker 2Well, I'll be.
Speaker 4There's tops, bottoms and sides.
Speaker 3Yeah, in the middle of a top and a bottom is a side, it's not new. I think it's been coined, I don't know.
Speaker 4I mean Grindr made it official.
Speaker 3Don't come for me, Gen Zs.
Speaker 4Grindr made it official.
Speaker 3Now you have actually you can really, yeah, you can just do top, bottom or side which? Is Really you just want to cuddle so well, not true? I don't think that's true. I don't think to be. I'm sorry, oh God, I get so shy when I talk about this because I know who's listening. But, like you, don't want to be penetrated. That's what a side is. A side wants sexual interaction without penetration is what I believe to be the true oh wow, interesting.
Speaker 3Hold on. Let me boobadoop. Hold on. Let me type it in, but carry on.
Speaker 4I mean.
Speaker 2I just.
Speaker 3I don't think. I mean I love a cuddle, Okay, Well, you can cuddle on the side.
Speaker 4I would not label myself as a side.
Speaker 3What would you like?
Speaker 1side on side through the week. I'm not going to label myself here in the pod.
Speaker 4Are you a?
Speaker 3side through the week, and then you no, I'm not going to label myself here.
Speaker 4Are you aside through the week and then you no, I'm not going to label myself.
Speaker 3I found it Okay, hold on. This is according to the new ChatGPT 5, which is rolled out this week. I have it, you're welcome ChatGPT. In gay culture, top and bottom generally refer to sexual positions during anal sex. The top is the penetrating partner, the bottom is the receptive. I don't think I'm educating anybody here.
Speaker 1Yeah, I think that's old news.
Speaker 3Okay, right A side, however, new news, very new, you've never heard of that Never heard of it.
Speaker 4Never new news. Very new Is someone who doesn't You've never heard of that Never heard of it.
Speaker 2Never New news.
Speaker 3Education pod. Easter egg, the more you know rainbows. Okay, aside is someone who doesn't engage in anal sex at all, either by preference, comfort or physical consideration, but still enjoys other forms of intimacy and sexual activity, such as oral sex, mutual masturbation, frontage, no froatage, froatage that's new to me, but in parentheses it says grinding, so I guess just like you know, like Try humping. Yeah, like clothes on. Yeah, wow, I learned froatage. Clothes on. Like clothes on, wow, I learned fro-tage.
Speaker 4Clothes on, PJs on or any other non-penetrated sex, but it's a common thing, megan. Like it's now, you're either top or bottom on your side.
Speaker 3Well, you just said that you thought you equated it to cuddling, which is a form of it, but I mean, you are on your side when you're cuddling.
Speaker 4I guess that makes sense.
Speaker 2A cuddle makes sense if you aren't looking for penetration, you're just looking for other things.
Speaker 3I'm not willing in this moment to go on the record of my status. That's fine, no one, I mean.
Speaker 2F-I's and I's. You weren't asked.
Speaker 4You were not.
Speaker 3But F-Y's and I's. If you're into non-penetrative, call me Wow, DM me I can tell you have not listened to New Heights.
Speaker 2Oh, because I gave an Easter egg new news new news which, if you've listened to that, I don't even know what new Heights. Oh right, got it, got it.
Speaker 3Got it, got it, got it. No, I got it, I got it.
Speaker 2I got it.
Speaker 3We're transitioning to Taylor. Got it, easter egg.
Speaker 4I've never heard of.
Speaker 3New.
Speaker 2Heights.
Speaker 3Sorry, I'm sorry, I thought it was one. I thought it was that the guy that did Hamilton.
Speaker 4You were talking about a new era.
Speaker 3I thought Hamilton did Emmanuel. A new era, new Heights, wasn't that?
Speaker 4An icon You've been dropping H-X as well, man, yes, apologies.
Speaker 3Here we go.
Speaker 4Apulse yeah, stick to the script.
Speaker 2Go the script, so go for it because we're podcasters.
Speaker 3We're podcasters in this podcast world. We have to acknowledge yeah, right taylor swift, our biggest competition.
Speaker 4Well, for the first time ever she had per year in a podcast.
Speaker 3So yeah and yeah, we know we know and new heights is like our biggest podcast competition it is, and like we, like we are neck and neck.
Speaker 4Maybe one day Taylor will be right on that fourth mic.
Speaker 3Well, she did reach out. I said, not too soon.
Speaker 4But we're all excited about the life of a showgirl. Yes, and you.
Valentine Blood Orange Vodka Review
Speaker 2I'm very excited, especially for one song that's on the. This new album release ruin the relationship which we talked about I have to believe is about her friendship with blake lively, because sources very close to blake and taylor are saying they are not speaking I cannot wait, because this is one thing I don't know.
Speaker 4If I, maybe, what would you say? Do you consider?
Speaker 3myself a swifty. Do I consider you myself?
Speaker 4I don't know if I'm a swifty.
Speaker 3I'm a swifty oh, so talking about that, that's an easter egg there is, this there is.
Speaker 4They're so strategic about the way that they do things. Absolutely the last show of the heiress tour taylor swift.
Speaker 3We're gonna go with facts we're gonna do all of it, because a little bit, just a little bit, just a little bit.
Speaker 4But at the end of that heiress tour she exited on a orange door and she actually started that last show saying orange, you're glad you're here so there is that orange creativity, color popping, which you, maddie, was talking about I did say, yeah, I knew actually.
Speaker 3Um, probably about five years ago I did a little bit of a study on colors well, you love art. Well, yeah, I'm not just, I'm a content creator for god's sakes.
Speaker 3I have so many talents uh, but um, yeah, orange is you are yeah, orange is a creative color yes, it is and I actually, when I was trying to pursue other jobs and stuff, I actually created a website on the side and orange was my predominant, with you on your side as well orange was my predominant color because I'm like. I want people like yes, unconsciously to associate their visit to my page as creative yes. So, that's boring compared to Taylor.
Speaker 4No I don't, I'm not, I don't think that that's my. I mean that's part of my point too.
Speaker 3It was just a sidebar but.
Speaker 4I think that they're very strategic about the way that they.
Speaker 3Oh, there's some boardroom meetings happening, oh a lot of boardroom meetings. Let's hide the eggs even when they were a new we pull in the easter bunny because we got some eggs to fucking hide.
Speaker 4They were on to your appointment about being creative on that new heights uh podcast. Behind taylor and travis there were strategically placed books from artists that are creative that were placed specifically because of the content and the connection that they have with art and showgirls.
Speaker 3Every move is calculated 100%. I mean, do you know, okay, do you like it, jj, or do you not like it? Do you?
Speaker 2like it.
Speaker 4I am 100% in, are you?
Speaker 3all bought in. Yes, because you know why I think you love it.
Speaker 4I pre-ordered it.
Speaker 3Okay, but do you?
Speaker 4know why.
Speaker 3I think you love it, the sleuthing. The sleuthing what? Because of the cold cases, because you love you got me a cold case.
Speaker 4You lost me a sleuthing.
Speaker 3What do you mean? I've never heard the word sleuth. No.
Speaker 4Like a sloth. Like a sloth.
Speaker 2No.
Speaker 4No.
Speaker 3Sloth is an animal.
Speaker 2Sleuthing is like when you are I've never, yeah, you've never no.
Speaker 3Honest to God, you're saying this 100% I would.
Speaker 2Yeah, Does JJ know it?
Slip-Ins and Pull-Outs Segment
Speaker 4know it. Here's the new episode. We haven't had a moment like that. I've never heard of that. I cannot believe it. Is there a button?
Speaker 1Can you hit a? There is it.
Speaker 3I can't play You're funny Education pod in real time. I'm going to tie a ribbon on this and the reason why I said it.
Speaker 4Can you put an orange bow on it, because we're talking about it?
Speaker 3Girl, it's orange, all right, so you know how. You said you love a cold case.
Speaker 4I do like being a cold case, and we've talked about this before.
Speaker 3What they're doing is so. It's clever, it's genius. It's kind of like little boo-boos doing blind shipping, like you don't know what's in the box.
Speaker 4Oh, you get the surprise one.
Speaker 3So it's all. It's like Love Island, it's all the things. It's like you take a program, a podcast or whatever.
Speaker 4You're talking like LeBubu's and Love Island.
Speaker 3Listen I went to school for this. Stop it. Oh, that's going to sound real gay in the playback, sorry, well, chances are.
Speaker 1You are what you are.
Speaker 3Wow, wow, wow, oh, wow that is not acceptable. You went deep. Now I did because I couldn't stand that that cut deep JJ. Anyway, we gotta wrap this orange ball.
Speaker 4I'm just trying to understand what this word is about. I don't even remember. Now I'll tell it. No, I started the rodeo.
Speaker 3It doesn't jump again. So cold case, jj. You like it because people are at their home.
Speaker 4Let's just figure it out together. If you would stop, I can finish fat like people are on, like they're at their home. Yeah, discover that. No, but it is figured out together if you would stop.
Speaker 3I can finish. People are at home sitting in front of their computers. There's a cold case from 1954 love that so much.
Speaker 4Do, do, do, do, do do kelly's about to do that. Give me, give me, give me a second, we'll wrap it up.
Speaker 3Just give me a second. They're do-do-do-do-do and they uncover a record from 1954. It's an obituary published in a local newspaper. That then the dna connects to the third jg, that's called sleuthing. Oh really, they have sleuthed it, they've discovered it. They were a, so that's you agree, lawyer hold on. This is what is happening with fans of Taylor Swift. They are doing the equivalent Like. I see that orange thing in the bookcase behind the thing I'm sleuth, and the Swifties are-.
Speaker 2All right, I'll stop.
Speaker 4I'll stop.
Speaker 2I'll distill it for everyone, and especially JJ. A sleuth is uncovering facts.
Speaker 1If you're sleuthing, you're uncovering facts. I prefer my version.
Speaker 2Let's just get to brass tactics. That's what a sleuth is.
Speaker 3You're throwing out another word. He's not going to know. Brass taxes he's not going to know, I don't, but we don't have time, so stop, I don't.
Speaker 2Brass tactics just means the basic facts.
Speaker 3I don't even think it's brass taxes.
Speaker 2I think it's brass taxes no, no it might be brass tax.
Speaker 3T-A-C-K-S.
Speaker 2I said brass tactics.
Speaker 3I know which is made up.
Speaker 2Sometimes I get those phrases wrong.
Speaker 3So I can't say one way or the other. So, jj, you're not alone in your journey.
Speaker 2But brass taxacks? I think might be that was years ago when the phrase was coined, is probably accurate.
Speaker 3And then I got it wrong with tactics correct, because it just means like the last man standing here with the facts well, the basic, normal facts.
Speaker 2No extravagant things, no adjectives, just just the facts, ma'am, and nothing else.
Speaker 3So how's the relationship? We got huge.
Speaker 4I think I'm a little bit more confused. Are you going to?
Speaker 3see him again On the side.
Speaker 4No, we're going back to the side. We're done.
Speaker 3Tell me what's next.
Speaker 2We talked about how Taylor On the podcast.
Speaker 3It was such a weird divergent. Okay, what else do we want to talk about with Taylor?
Speaker 2Well, her album releases October 3rd the Life of a Showgirl. And that's also which I think this is interesting it is the same day that Puff Diddy is getting sentenced.
Speaker 4Well, and alsoober 3rd is officially like kind of known like the mean girls day day like if you watch the movie mean girls. October 3rd is a big day on regards to the movie, specifically like we were pink on wednesdays and all those things. So I I don't know if you watched a clip from jimmy fallon on the tonight show he has I watched it.
Speaker 3I saw it like he has a full-on like specific conspiracy theory video mont mont monologue it was a lot of numbers and that gets my head swimming really yeah, I don't do well with numbers.
Speaker 4Well, they say that it's going to be released.
Speaker 3As long as you have fingers to count on, you're fine, he is thinking that the number 12 is very important Apparently yeah, the whole.
Speaker 4Thing.
Speaker 2It's amazing. It's crazy. Everyone should listen and look at it. But it's a lot of numbers.
Speaker 3Well, that's why I think this is the point we're trying to make is that there are people sitting in a boardroom saying how many different ways could we tie things in? Everything is a market and I love it. Listen, I love it. I'm not saying it in a bad way, I do love. I'm like it is a marketing tactic and everyone's subscribing.
Speaker 2It is a marketing tactic and everyone's subscribing Well. I will also say you keep saying boardroom and I'm here to support Taylor and say I think it's actually driven by Taylor and we should give her the props she is due as a woman Interesting.
Speaker 3Oh, wow, okay, Hold on, hold on, I agree with you a hundred percent. And like I do think, okay, you're right, I'm just processing.
Speaker 4No.
Speaker 3I was not expecting that I agree with you 100%.
Speaker 4I do think that the way that she is, but I need to respond because I'm the one that she called out.
Speaker 3Yeah, and I actually do agree with her a hundred percent as well, and I, if I could choose different words, I would, and I do think she is 100% behind it. Let me clarify boardroom wrong, wrong, wrong words. There is a team. She's not over there orchestrating every single thing, but she is the mastermind, I think, behind it yes. So thank you for that. I appreciate it and I think it is brilliant.
Speaker 2It is brilliant and as a woman you got to give her the credit where it's due, because I think if she was a man it might be. Oh, he came up with all this, he's brilliant. But because she's a woman, people like to defer to others, and I love that you.
Speaker 3Wow, I'm being called out because, even in the middle of her last leg of the heiress tour, she was able to finally get her ownership of the masters of her copy, which I think she was crying on the episode and she changed the she really did change the whole and like the whole environment, like that whole what I also will say, like we don't have to get too deep on all of it, but like I would say I was talking to one of you about this, like I think like three albums ago or something I think this is just one opinion, opinion of one she planted a easter egg or two easter eggs or whatever, and, and now I feel like it is a full blown out 100 effective strategy like there there's Easter eggs like wow, that bunny was busy, that bunny was hiding eggs in the shelves, in the briefcase, everywhere, In Lady Gaga's brassiere, everywhere is an Easter egg.
Speaker 4And I wonder. Like at the beginning they're like oh, let's just do this for fun, but now the Swifties are like specifically looking for this and they're craving it.
Speaker 3They're like give me more hidden eggs, Absolutely.
Speaker 2Well, let's go through the orange door. Let's do it, and we're going through a tribute to Taylor Swift, a little more orange. We are going to do a product review about.
Speaker 4Oh my God, Megan, that was perfect.
Speaker 2Valentine Vodka Brill, which is a detroit-based distillery. Literally, this vodka is distilled right down the road from maddie's house and we're going to talk about a new release. They have. It's valentine vodka, lion blood, orange vodka, which is a collaborate collaboration between valentine distilling Company and former Detroit Lion, nate Burleson. It's a small batch flavored vodka infused with natural blood, orange and elderflower. It's really really good, like so good you can just drink this over ice. It's made in Michigan with Michigan beet sugar and contains this is it 20% fewer calories and carbs than leading flavored vodka alternatives.
Speaker 1Sign me up 100%.
Speaker 2Yes, because I love a flavored vodka, but I don't like all that sugar and extra calories. And this vodka has zero additives and no corn syrup.
Speaker 3TNI tell me when you want to pause, because I got something to add. Yeah, add away, here we go. I just ba-doop, ba-dooped.
Speaker 4Did you?
Speaker 3Major awards for Valentine Vodka World's best vodka. World's best varietal vodka. Double gold medal gold medal gold medal 92 points in gold medal. Okay, tastingcom is a resource Food network. It's a resource Like there's multiple. So yeah, I mean, you nailed it. It's in my little town. It's three blocks away. That's dangerous. But I'm tasting it and loving it, and I'm going to give me some blood.
Speaker 2It's really really good. So I encourage everyone to go out and get Valentine Vodka Lion Blood, orange Vodka. You'll thank us.
Speaker 3Here's the other thing, and Taylor go get it real quick, like if you need a tour of the distillery, hit us up at megan. Are you ready to shout out our way to contact us, like via text? It's uh 313-440-0-4.
Speaker 2Text us or call us.

Speaker 4You are going to do a private Tour with them.
Speaker 3Well, no, it depends on the demand. Meaghan's in.
Speaker 4All trying Fan social. We have to sign ourselves on fan social.
Speaker 3No, I'm willing to give a freebie.
Speaker 2We'll do a freebie first. Oh my god.
Speaker 4You know what? Drop it in.
Speaker 3My point here. Well, jj won't apparently be involved. You get a Meaghan and I, you get the M&M's. Stop it in my point here. Well, jj won't apparently be involved, but you get it. You get it, megan and I, you get the.
Speaker 2M&M's. You get the M&M's, and maybe we'll have an orange M&M or two for you If you want a little side of JJ.
Speaker 4That is a different.
Speaker 3Oh side of JJ. No pun intended.
Speaker 4But I wanted to say, Megan, you said something about the Valentine vodka being like you can actually drink it Like as it is.
Speaker 3I'm doing it right now.
Speaker 4And Maddie is doing that. But Megan is great trying to find a great like a like a mixer with it and she just made a nice little mixer with the drink and it's just smooth and great. It's perfect.
Speaker 2So yeah, go for it. A special flavored club soda and a little tangerine white claw, it's perfect. So yeah, go for it A special flavored club soda and a little tangerine white claw.
Speaker 4It's perfect. It's so good.
Speaker 3I love when you not you, but just in general when someone takes a liqueur and the mixer is another liqueur.
Speaker 2It's a specialty of mine, so you take a vodka and you mix it with a high noon. It's so good it's a dream little vodka spread it's good.
Speaker 4How much is it? I think, like $30 that's not bad.
Speaker 2I think it depends where you buy it. I bought it at a place that's at state minimum and it was $29.99, but if you're at the distillery it might be $35.
Speaker 3And our hands-on tour is free. You just give us five stars on TripAdvisor.
Speaker 4There we go, there you go.
Speaker 2Well, with that, I think it's some time for some slip-it-ins and pull-it-outs.
Speaker 4Before you say that Still to say, but we'll say that Can you say that, say, but we'll say that, yeah, can you say that before you say that I, I would, I'm gonna encourage our slippers if you have your slip it ins and your pullouts, send us a message. Yeah, bring in your slip it ins and pullouts. And you know, who knows. Can I say that we might do an episode of slip it ins and pullouts from our slippers.
Speaker 3What about this? They can slip it in. They can slip it in, they can pull it out or they can put it on the side.
Speaker 4There you go. I love it.
Speaker 1I love it. I love it.
Speaker 3Oh, my God. We didn't even get to talk about Atlanta, so we'll park it, yep.
Speaker 2We're going into slip-ins and pull-outs and I'll start. Are you going to Go for it?
Speaker 3Yeah, start it.
Speaker 2So my slip in is JFK Jr. You love him. I've always been obsessed with him. He was always like this dream man in my world and I wanted to go to Brown so badly because he went there. Anyway, there's a new documentary.
Speaker 3I wouldn't kick him out of bed.
Speaker 2No one would Period no one would.
Speaker 3He was so. No, he's coming out, he out of bed. No one would.
Speaker 2Period. No one would. He was so no, he's coming out. He's so handsome. No, there's a new documentary on CNN about him and it's amazing. I just I've always loved him and I used to love it when he would go on Howard Stern and Howard Stern would just make fun of him about how all he did all day was rollerblade around New York City shirtless and John would just sit there and laugh and just took it like no big deal and he was so smart and so witty and just so handsome and I miss him. And this documentary, yeah, like no. I mean, it was devastating to me when he died. But to have some sort of little realness, watch the documentary. It's really great.
Speaker 3The first episode aired CNN.
Speaker 2Also, for anyone that doesn't know, his cousin Jack Schlossberg, which is Carolyn Kennedy's son, is also very handsome. And he has a very interesting and provocative. Instagram he's alive and Tik TOK. Oh yeah, he's alive and he is a social influencer.
Speaker 3And I mean, I love it.
Speaker 4Well, I love that you say that because, um, a big moment happened a couple of weeks ago with um and watch what happens live with Andy and finallyol from the original cast of the real housewives of new york showed up there you go.
Speaker 2She showed up, I don't know, if you know, she was married to jfk jr's cousin, anthony, who was jfk jr's best man.
Speaker 4At his wedding okay, so she is part of the documentary.
Speaker 3I have nothing to add.
Speaker 2Well, you're missing out.
Speaker 4Well, she showed up after there was a big feud of her and Andy. Oh really, yeah, they didn't even speak in speaking terms. Even Andy put a statement out of. She's not talking to us, she doesn't even want to appear and watch what happens live. But she showed up I think that probably a week or two ago to promote the documentary, but it was like a big thing. Bowie Nyang was there and Matt.
Speaker 3Rogers, I love that.
Speaker 4But I'm glad that you mentioned that, because it was a big moment also and and bravo for history yeah because it's been almost like 10 years since, like carol has stepped into watch what happens life this seems like a conversation you two might want to take okay well, and just for the slippers, carol radziwill was a former real housewives of new york cast member.
Speaker 2Yeah, I just said that, so with that I'll I'll move.
Speaker 3Oh, I missed it, sorry, well it was getting along, so my pull it out.
Speaker 2It's also New York related. I'm very sad that and just like that ended.
Speaker 4I'll miss it, you are sad.
Speaker 1I love the show, yes.
Speaker 2And I love Andy Cohen tying it back to Andy, he did a recent appearance as the shoe salesman again, just like he did in Sex and the City.
Speaker 4And they're actually done. I know I'm devastated. I loved it.
Speaker 2It was still a great show. I thought I enjoyed it. I didn't love the ending, but I get it. But anyway, that's my pull it out.
Speaker 4I'm going to do a slip it in. I love ironing Shut up Like an iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron, iron.
Speaker 3A little bit about the amount of clothes I actually iron, because I used to even iron, like my underwear and my like undershirts and everything like that, that's insane I just love it.
Speaker 4His props, his crop tees yeah, they always have a little bit of that.
Speaker 2I moved on to a steamer years ago and it's life changing.
Speaker 4I like the.
Speaker 2I still rely on the dryer I moved on to a steamer years ago and it's life-changing.
Speaker 3I like the— I still rely on the dryer? No, that's a mistake.
Speaker 4He's also—Maddie loves the spray. Do you know that Downy spray Hold on?
Speaker 3This is a product—oh my God, this is—I didn't expect—okay, yes, wrinkle releaser. Oh, I don't like it.
Speaker 4I don't like the smell, it's the best. Spray stretch good to go. That should have been my pull-out today, JJ.
Speaker 3I don't mean to interrupt. What is this Iron?
Speaker 4Beanie.
Speaker 1Iron.
Speaker 3Oh my god.
Speaker 4Not the irony of it, but being able to iron things.
Speaker 3Back in the day when we were together cohabitating, I would put something on and he'd make me take it off and iron it and I'm like okay, well, I'm not really concerned.
Speaker 4No, okay, carry on my pull out.
Speaker 3Wait, do you want to talk anymore about ironing?
Speaker 4No, I think that's good enough. Do you like steaming it? No, I don't.
Speaker 2I'm the one who brought up. I'm a steam girl. I like. This is the difference between the steamer and the ironing, he could be a steam girl, I'm not going to go with steamworks.
Speaker 4That's a different thing, Megan that you probably don't know.
Speaker 3New episode stop.
Speaker 4I like the crisp, like seam into the ironing.
Speaker 3I like a medium starch Medium starch.
Speaker 2I do love a seam when you.
Speaker 4I don't know.
Speaker 3I think dry cleaners are going out of business.
Speaker 4I love that so much, you think?
Speaker 3so Okay, but let me ask you guys this real quick I disagree completely Okay. All right, all right, that's not my question, though. My question is when they ask you light, medium or heavy starch, what would you pick? Heavy, medium, heavy, okay.
Speaker 4Carry heavy, medium heavy. Okay, carry on. Okay, my pullout is something to do with and maybe you can give me some light on your american side is when asking a favor.
Speaker 4When asking a favor, the one versus can you want you? Can you? And let me just explain. You wait, let me just explain this. I find myself sometimes like people come to me when asking if he was like jj, do you want me to help you? Do like can you do you want to help me? Do you want to help me do the backyard instead of like can you just do that?
Speaker 2well, I think if it's, if it's meant to be a favor, you would say could you do me a favor? And they don't no. Okay, if it's, if it's meant to be a favor, you would say could you do me a favor? And they don't no okay if it's something that, like at work, that's really maybe outside your job duties it should be, you know, could you help me with this?
Speaker 4I don't, I don't, it's not work though it should never be want there's a lot of want and I really yeah, like do you want to?
Speaker 3I know this happens in the corporate world a lot. Like you ask a question do you want to work?
Speaker 2for that project are you asking me like can you like can you or would you?
Speaker 1yes, I think it's kind of like something.
Speaker 3I do love for me because, like, I can help you, but do I want to? I don't know what are you asking me?
Speaker 4Yes, that's my point.
Speaker 3My personal preference or my availability.
Speaker 4Exactly Like I and for me, like my like. Again, english is my second language, so when you come to me and asking for a favor and you're like one versus I mean you're putting me like on a corner type of thing.
Speaker 3So what do you want?
Speaker 4So I feel pressure to say yes, I don't want to do it, but I can do it Do you want slippers to give you some advice.
Speaker 2Yes, no, it's just a pull-out. No, let the slippers. It is a pull-out, fine, okay, well let the slippers give him some advice.
Speaker 3All right, fine.
Speaker 2Bring JJ your advice about wands or candy. I thought it was my pull-out, but it sounds to be like a pull-out for Megan.
Speaker 4Can you or would you make her be quiet? She's apparently upset about my pull-out. Can you make her be?
Speaker 2quiet or would you make her be quiet, I guess, go for it. Well, I didn't know. You were bringing a pull-out.
Speaker 3You guys tune in to the after hours.
Speaker 4It's my pull-, Not yours. You just had it.
Speaker 3Oh my god, I'm sitting in the middle. Okay, my turn. Okay, take it away. My slip it in and I feel like again this might piss Megan off Because I'm going to steal one of her future slip it ins.
Speaker 1She just hasn't realized.
Speaker 3Slip it to tens. She hasn't realized how much it is a slip in for her, but I know when I say it she'll know that it is Right now I'm involved in three class actions.
Speaker 2Oh no, I'm in probably some of the same class actions.
Speaker 3Oh no, you're not. Two of mine are Subaru related so you don't have a Subaru? No, and my third is AT&T and you're a. Verizon, so you're not in any of my class actions Nope, I'm in the AT&T one, fis, and.
Speaker 2Is 100%, because I used to have AT&T for cable.
Speaker 4Oh wow, I'm sure that the one for the Subaru. There's about like 500 Uncle Cathy's there, oh stop it 100%.
Speaker 3Okay, you're going to have to go to episode three or four on. We don't have time to define Uncle Cathy.
Speaker 2No, lesbians love a Subaru. That's standard knowledge.
Speaker 3So do sides.
Speaker 1Like myself, but you said you weren't a side, I am a side.
Speaker 4You love to be a side, I am a side. You love to be a side, I'm a tot side, all right Side.
Speaker 3Okay, but hold on. Three, class action. You don't know, mad, like when I. I don't know how you guys feel, but when I get anything in the mail that is not an advertisement or a political thing, like the days of getting a letter or a card or whatever are gone. They've been replaced by class action. If I did, a class action day is made. So I'm in three and I'm hoping for anywhere, hoping for the best. Yeah, you know what Give me whatever.
Speaker 4If.
Speaker 3I get $2, happy.
Speaker 3If you give me a million, dollars Correct Best, like thank you for fucking with my connectivity or my. I couldn't put it in reverse on tuesday. Okay, my, pull it out and let me tell you. I want, I want you guys to relate to me if you think it's the same. I communicate with people via photos a lot of the time. So, megan JJ, let's just type at that. I text you, I'm like can you believe this? And I take a picture of something in that moment and I send it to you. That fucking photo goes into my photo library. I don't want it, I don't need it in there, I want it to be exclusive to the text, yeah. And then when I go into my photo library, what a hot mess. I have 1,500 photos in there and Apple is trying to Hold on.
Speaker 3I know there's apps for dupes.
Speaker 4No, and the same new update.
Speaker 3Correct. But, jj, you agree with me. I've had this conversation with you before how like all of these photos are in here. It gets very crazy on how to locate a photo, what folders they put it in, like when you remember, when I'm like trying to search for a photo, I'm like I'm like simplify to search for a photo, I'm like I'm I'm like simplify, apple, apple, simplify september search for the pic okay, this is not what you said, all fair.
Speaker 4So this is interesting are you an apple influence no, I'm not not yet okay well, but I I support some of the, but this is different this is what I'm getting now.
Speaker 3It's different when I got hold on when I got, different in the moment. But okay, if you guys want to it's your pull out. I support it yeah, because the apple doesn't fall far. You just had an experience. Close us out, megan, I'll leave it there.
Speaker 2Well, I agree with you. So F-I's a nine.
