This week on The Jesus Effect, our Who Am I in the Bible? series continues with a powerful story of restoration — not of walls, but of hearts.

After Jerusalem had been rebuilt, something deeper was still missing. The people had returned home, but their spiritual foundation needed renewal. Into that moment stepped a leader devoted not to power, position, or influence… but to the Word of God.

Through a life marked by study, obedience, and teaching, this servant of God helped guide a nation back to truth. As Scripture was read aloud, hearts were stirred, conviction set in, and a renewed commitment to follow God began to take shape.

This episode reminds us that true restoration doesn’t begin with what we build — it begins with what we believe and how deeply God’s Word shapes our lives.

Listen closely to the clues and see if you can identify this week’s mystery person before the reveal. Take a moment, think about the clues, and send in your guess.

Next time, we’ll reveal the answer and step into another story from Scripture together.
