Schizophrenic Music
A genre-jumping, decade-spanning music podcast where Craig and Kevin riff, rank, and occasionally roast their way through underrated albums, ridiculous matchups, and unexpected playlists.
Expect deep cuts, rapid-fire games, trivia twists, and the ever-growing series: “The Soundtrack to…”. Zero rules. Just riffs.
The Schizophrenic Music Podcast isn’t just a show — it’s a platform for sonic disobedience and musical pluralism.

S5 - Ep 6 - Two Albums, One Year: 1961 – Shuffle Swan Song & a Classic Rock Surprise
This week, Craig and Kevin head all the way back to 1961, each picking an overlooked or under-appreciated album from a year that laid the groundwork for the music explosion to come. They dig into the sounds, styles, and why these records still deserve a spin in 2025.
After the trip to ’61, they dive into what might just be their final Schizophrenic Shuffle — randomly pulling five tracks each from their digital libraries and giving those familiar thumbs up, thumbs down, or thumbs sideways reactions one more time (for now...).
But just when Kevin thinks the episode is winding down, Craig has a surprise up his sleeve:
Enter Classic Rock Magazine’s “The REAL Top 100 Albums of the ’70s.”
Before revealing the theme, Craig challenges Kevin to blindly pick five random numbers between 11 and 100 — then unveils what the list is all about, capped off with a run through the Top 10 albums according to the magazine’s alternate take on the decade.
It’s a deep cut celebration, a shuffle send-off, and a little 1970s curveball all wrapped into one episode.
