Schizophrenic Music
A genre-jumping, decade-spanning music podcast where Craig and Kevin riff, rank, and occasionally roast their way through underrated albums, ridiculous matchups, and unexpected playlists.
Expect deep cuts, rapid-fire games, trivia twists, and the ever-growing series: “The Soundtrack to…”. Zero rules. Just riffs.
The Schizophrenic Music Podcast isn’t just a show — it’s a platform for sonic disobedience and musical pluralism.

S5 - Ep 12 - Two Albums, One Year: 2006 – Blog Buzz, B-Sides & the Shuffle Keeps Spinning
This week, Craig and Kevin plug into 2006, a year buzzing with indie breakthroughs, MySpace hype, and post-millennial genre mashups. Each host brings one underrated or overlooked album from that chaotic yet creatively rich year — the kinds of records that might’ve been blog favorites but never got the long-term love they deserved.
Then it’s time for the latest round of their reimagined Schizophrenic Shuffle — a weekly exchange that’s become part playlist swap, part personal time capsule. Here’s the format:
- Each host shuffles their personal collection and pulls five tracks
- They find each song on Apple Music and send them to each other
- After listening to each track in full over the week, they return to the mic ready to break them down in four categories:
🎧 Highlight – The top track of the shuffle
💤 Lowlight – The one that didn’t land
🪞 Reminder – A song that stirred up nostalgia
🚪 New Introduction – A fresh find that left a mark
From forgotten deep cuts to unexpected rediscoveries, it’s another week of pure Schizo energy.
