S5 - Ep 22 - 2010 Album Picks, Rating Roulette & Artists Who Vanished

Craig Vennes & Kevin Glubke Season 5 Episode 22

Craig and Kevin kick things off by taking each other to task in a fresh round of the Schizo Hot Seat — rapid-fire Either/Or album selections, 10 rounds, winner stays on the board. Quick instincts, strong opinions, no lifelines.

Then Craig raises the stakes with a new layer: Rate It.
He throws 10 music-related topics at Kevin — anything from genres and trends to album formats and fuzzy concepts — and asks for a 1–10 rating, with Kevin forced to lock it in and (maybe) explain himself afterward. Zero prep. All gut.

Next, they shift gears and dive into their albums of the week, spotlighting two underrated or overlooked records from 2010 — a year where indie exploded, pop got experimental, and some now-iconic acts were just getting started.

Finally, the conversation winds into something more reflective:
🎤 What happens when artists disappear?
Craig and Kevin explore the phenomenon of musicians who seem to vanish — no farewell tour, no breakup post, no warning — and whether the mystique is intentional, frustrating, or part of the mythology.
