SPEAKER_02

Man, what's going on, bro? TP's. AK Wolfman right now.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I'm Wolfman too, man. Had a cut in a minute, man. Trying to lay it grow out a little bit.

SPEAKER_02

I wish I could wolf like it.

SPEAKER_04

So I got the do-rag on, because it'll look crazy up here.

SPEAKER_02

Man, I'm just thugging it out right now. I'm on the same timer, man.

SPEAKER_04

For real. Grime mode. That's it. That's it.

SPEAKER_00

I just follow y'all on my grind mode stage, man. Fine.

SPEAKER_04

Do need a little lineup, just a little touch every shit.

SPEAKER_00

That's it, man. Y'all got all this, man. I can only get to go to you. I got the face with man. Jealous. That's the young books, man. But no, man. How was your week, man?

SPEAKER_04

Uh pretty extended. Pretty long, man. It wasn't bad, though. I had a good week overall. Overall, I had a good week. Yeah. Same old though, same old work stuff. Staying out the way. Right now. What about you, CP?

SPEAKER_02

Man, I've been I've been, I don't even know. It's alright. It was alright. Yeah, I feel the same way.

SPEAKER_04

I have been working. I've been working hard this week, though. Yeah. Back there, I didn't, I didn't work two jobs this week.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, for real?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Okay. Go to my first job. Right after there, go to my other job. Okay. Go back to the career. That's what I've been on. Later, man. I feel it. Out the way trying to trying to get it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

For real.

SPEAKER_00

I don't blame you, man. Yeah. Likewise, it's kind of a long week, too, a little bit, but it's alright, man. It's just I ain't gonna say I was stressed out, but it's just stressed out by a little stuff. Yeah, stuff that we can manage. Yeah, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_04

So it's getting warmer out though, man. Yes, sir.

SPEAKER_00

That's why I'm dressed to see my Miami Vice. You know what I'm saying? I ain't gonna show y'all my, you know what I'm saying? Yo, it's a warm one out there today. Yeah, we can need that.

SPEAKER_04

It's supposed to drop back down, though.

SPEAKER_00

Oh yeah, it's 80, 82 right now. Yeah, it's supposed to be 80.

SPEAKER_04

It's supposed to be 80 for the next few days, right? I think it's supposed to drop down the next two days, and then it's supposed to go back up.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah, something like that. Around the weekend. Typical Michigan. Typical Michigan.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, but we're about to get into them days where it's where it's just averaging high 70s. Surprise it's not right now, actually.

SPEAKER_00

Man, for real, man.

SPEAKER_04

It's towards this next week, probably be the end of May. Hey, we're coming up on a holiday, ain't we?

SPEAKER_00

Memorial. Memorial Day. Yeah, man. The first Q first uh barbecue holiday. Facts. Facts for real.

SPEAKER_02

You ain't lying about that.

SPEAKER_00

It's barbecue holiday, man. Man, let's talk about these playoffs. Yeah, I know we've been touching on them, man. It's uh just uh we just seen the uh news today that uh shout out to Shay, he got a second MVP. I told y'all, man. What did he do?

SPEAKER_04

Told y'all, man. That boy said that to y'all in the chat. I'm like, uh man, I ain't even I didn't even know he really won it until I seen it just on social media and stuff, but uh yeah, dog.

SPEAKER_02

I can tell you, I can tell you it is you know who didn't win it. There you go, man. K deserve it, man.

SPEAKER_04

Know I would probably I would probably say K do deserve something, though. He he come on he definitely carrying the pistol.

SPEAKER_02

You can get that most improved.

SPEAKER_01

What most improved? That's wow.

SPEAKER_04

That's wow.

SPEAKER_01

That part of CP's wild takes, man. Oh man, this dude, man. He uh most improved? Yeah, that's what he was the star last year.

SPEAKER_02

Who improved more than him did last year? A whole bunch of people who improved more than K. K stepped this game up. K stepped this game up and made Detroit a contender. That's why they're gonna lose tonight, but then he's gonna come back and be better next.

SPEAKER_00

Don't you put that there in the right.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, they are.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I ain't gonna lie. That script on uh TV, that was wild. Hey. I don't think I don't think they're about to lose, man. I don't think I don't think they're about to lose that home. Only way I really see it happening is if they shut K down tonight. Like if they doubling, if they doubling him tonight, they got a good chance of winning the game.

SPEAKER_00

Man, but the pistons is deeper than what people are seeing.

SPEAKER_04

I know, yeah, definitely. So somebody else has to show up. Like for instance, uh, what was that? I mean, we could Friday, Friday or Saturday?

SPEAKER_02

Friday. Uh Friday. The reason why they won that game was their bench showed up. Yeah, yeah, the bench showed up to Tobias.

SPEAKER_04

The starters, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

They didn't do it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, Tobias didn't do nothing, man. I had him on one of my plays, and I was kind of like, dang, what's going on with him at night? I think he does something at night though. Yeah, but yeah, if they doubling K and nobody else stepping up, man, they're gonna lose, bro. But I don't know. I think I think that it's gonna be too the environment, the atmosphere, yeah. The city gonna be crazy. Man, yeah. I think they might. I I really want to put them on money line tonight, man. I'm not gonna I'm not gonna lie.

SPEAKER_01

I really do.

SPEAKER_00

Nah, I feel like so if oh okay. Today, but you bet K Lowers or is uh what's his uppers?

SPEAKER_04

Uh over under? He said lowers uppers. Over under, uh I think it's over like 20, 25 and a half.

SPEAKER_02

So basically they because last game he didn't show up.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I think he had 21 last game.

SPEAKER_02

He didn't show up last game, they still won. That's a lot. So uh you gonna stop this man.

SPEAKER_01

You're gonna stop this cake banter, man.

SPEAKER_04

I believe he can get over, I think he's gonna get over 25 points tonight. Yeah. I think he's gonna get that. He has to. He has to. He has to he has to. But yeah, I think he gets that. I think he get, I think he gets that easy, honestly. I think he's gonna come out very aggressive. Very aggressive. Yeah. Like, I think he might get at least about 15 before the end of the half.

SPEAKER_00

To me, it's gonna come down to Dern. Dern actually look good.

SPEAKER_04

Dern he he picks and choose, man, but most more like he's not worth my money. No. He's not he's not worth my money at all.

SPEAKER_00

He worth his own money. He just lost 200 mil. That must I don't see that. Unless we win it all.

SPEAKER_04

I think uh sure Thompson's been like scoring more than him.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

And get more boards than him.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, unless we win it all. That's the only way I see him get paid.

SPEAKER_04

I I I I kind of just really want him to win tonight. I do want to know when tonight. Uh if they don't win tonight, I was just saying to one of my boys, if they don't win tonight, man, Detroit is cursed, bro. It's just like they just got generational curses going on, man. They gotta do it. If they don't win tonight, man, they got generational curses.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, the postseason is just not our friend.

SPEAKER_04

I don't know. Yeah, I'm looking forward to it, though, man. I thought the game was at three, but it's at eight.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, right.

SPEAKER_04

Because primetime, baby, they want the world to see us. But that little TV clip was crazy. Man, that's for real, man.

SPEAKER_02

It's not that they want the world to see us, bro. It's literally that the Spurs the Spurs closed that game out in game six. Otherwise, that would have been the late.

SPEAKER_01

Let's talk about the Spurs. Spurs is OKT.

SPEAKER_04

That's gonna be Oh yeah, it's gonna be that's gonna be nice. I ain't gonna lie.

SPEAKER_02

I got the Spurs.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I think I'm rocking, I think I'm even though I like I'm rocking with the Spurs, man. It's just like they all around. And they they all around a good team, man. I ain't gonna lie with y'all.

SPEAKER_00

They got a lot of Spurs. I'm with y'all on the Spurs, man.

SPEAKER_04

Spurs is just but I but I don't think it's finna be like I think it's it might be four two. Spurs way.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I think Spurs is gonna be. They're gonna battle for sure.

SPEAKER_04

I don't think he's gonna seven though.

SPEAKER_00

You don't? No, I can see. I think he's gonna six. I think Spurs is gonna get him a six.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, that's what I said. About four or two. Yeah, I think Spurs can get him a six. Uh uh OKC gonna get at least two of them. I think I think I think uh OKC might win them win win uh Monday, actually.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, well yeah, game one. Yeah, they yeah, they got to. Spurs won that first game. It's easy not going seven. They're gonna clearly win in six for sure.

SPEAKER_04

So yeah, man. We're gonna see what happened, man. So you got Detroit tonight?

SPEAKER_00

Detroit all the way, man.

SPEAKER_04

I got Detroit tonight. Who you got?

SPEAKER_02

I mean, I think Detroit can win it. Who you got? I think that script is already in, bro.

SPEAKER_04

Like, how do y'all throw him already Cash versus Nick? If Nick, if if Pistons really lose, that is wild. Detroit gonna it's gonna Detroit gonna light up tonight. Yeah, Detroit is about to be.

SPEAKER_02

I think Detroit will win it though, but I don't know. All I can I can I can do.

SPEAKER_04

Do you think uh James Harden do something tonight?

SPEAKER_02

He's been he's been looked this whole series. I think a lot if he's I think he will, yeah, he'll probably he he might not get you the points, but he probably gonna finish with like probably gonna finish like 17 with 10 assists or something like that.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, he had been putting up a lot of assists.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. But really, they need they need Donovan Mitchell to score like 30.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah. Donovan Mitchell sold me too. I had him for 20 at 18 last night. Yeah, anything. I mean not last night, Friday. So that's when they have a bad game, the next game, they they come back, come back angry.

SPEAKER_02

Like that one look last Monday, boy, yeah, dropped what, 40 in the second half? 40 in the second half. Well, 39 in the second half.

SPEAKER_04

K had like 30 something too. They would, yeah, that's what I'm saying. K had 21 last game. He might he might have 20 in the first half.

SPEAKER_02

He only had like four in the first. But the difference in that last game.

SPEAKER_00

That boy went off.

SPEAKER_02

The difference in that last game was Jalen Dern.

SPEAKER_00

I said it. I said, man.

SPEAKER_04

What do you end up doing that game?

SPEAKER_02

Low key.

SPEAKER_01

He won.

SPEAKER_04

He's oh yeah, he was giving them rebounds. They didn't put up some points actually. Yeah, they've been having his over and under like nine and a half, so basically ten points. Yeah. He put that, I think he put exactly like a 11 up there, something like that, 10.

SPEAKER_00

If he played that again, we for sure are gonna win.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, they need him, or they need to just put in Stewart.

SPEAKER_00

Nah, they been B-ball paw.

SPEAKER_02

They've been taking out Paul Reed. They've been taking out Stuart minutes and putting B-ball pause. Yeah, B-ball.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, Stewart, nothing. You can't go wrong. You can't go Paul Reed either, though.

SPEAKER_02

You can't go wrong with Paul Reed. No. But I think I think because Dern was doing what he was doing last game, uh Paul Reed was taking Stewart's minutes because of that. Because Stuart really gets in foul trouble a lot, too. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I seen that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but Stuart, he walked in.

SPEAKER_04

He get aggressive. That's how you gotta be though, man. You want to play the game. Yeah, for real. That's how you gotta be. That's how they gotta come tonight, man. They gotta be very, they gotta come out hot. Hungry. That's usually how they bend, though. First quarter, they always up.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

First couple minutes, they always got the lead. Then when it comes to halftime, they they lose the lead, man. Yeah. But Cleveland ain't gonna be a little bit more. I mean, not not the halftime, the second half lose the lead.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, Cleveland ain't no slow. Man. But yeah, man. Got a couple questions we we didn't touch on before, though. So let's go knock them out the way. First question was uh what was that? What is one thing that made you better? What's one thing this week that actually made you better? I can't read it. What's one thing this week that actually made your life better? Sorry about that. One thing this week that made your life better.

SPEAKER_04

I say lately I've been trying to pray a little better. Good one. I'm not good at reading, like I won't, I'm not really the one that just like opened the Bible and stuff like that and be transparent. Like I but sometimes I see like little scriptures, scriptures online and stuff like that, Bible verse online, but really just like talking to God for real. Like, man, help me through this, let me get through this, stuff like that, and just really trying to be patient for real. Be patient. Trying to speak positive, man, not to be negative, stuff like that. That help you through a lot, man. Yeah, trying to be positive, look at what's going good. Yeah, instead of what's not going good, and trying not to stress over stuff you can't control. Yeah, that's a big one, man. Yeah, that's a big one. Stuff going on in your life you can't control it, you stress over it.

SPEAKER_00

That's it, man. Come on, man. We all go through a lot of stuff. I I say mine's uh I stop complaining. Stop complaining about it. That's a that's a hard thing to do, man. Man, just start stop making excuses, stop complaining. Hey, saying, man, hey, I took accountability for things I did wrong this week. Like, man, if I missed the assignment or I missed the appointment or something.

SPEAKER_04

Taking accountability, that's a big one, man. Letting yourself know that you did something wrong. It's like a next step to let yourself know that you ain't gonna let that happen again.

SPEAKER_00

And that you're serious about man, yo, your mistakes. You know what I'm saying? Like, hey, uh, I made that mistake. I'm gonna try to correct that for sure. And just, you know, like I said, just made no no excuses, didn't complain. Just I was like, yeah, I'm just gonna stop all that.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I've been trying to get into that thing that uh Demetrius was talking about last week, how you say you can read, man. But like I said, man, I'm it takes it take a lot of patience for you to sit down and read, man. People that do that, man, you got a lot of patience, and I feel like I'm easily distracted. So for me to sit down, you know, I mean my phone might go off, and I'm all right, I'm gonna grab my phone. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_00

So what's trying to what's what what's what's things that you like interested in? Like what you like it definitely ain't reading. I mean, like what's the what's the definitely ain't read I mean what's something that you that you're interested in, like that you could possibly like read about?

SPEAKER_04

That you like alright man, oh this is about you saying like like a specific topic or something like that?

SPEAKER_00

Anything, like anything, just any aspect of life or anything.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, maybe like storytelling or something like that. Yeah, definitely storytelling.

SPEAKER_00

You can find a book with good good stories in it.

SPEAKER_04

I probably want to try to get into like maybe uh because I I don't know, like I watch a lot of movies, so maybe it'd be better for me to do like maybe like an audiobook or something like that. Maybe that might, but I don't know. I don't think it's I don't think it's gonna Yeah, I guess you can still imagine it. Yeah because like when I'm reading, I like to like imagine it in my head and figure out what's really going on. Maybe you maybe you can still do that in audiobook. I'm I'm not sure. But uh yeah, something with storytelling. I don't know. I can't really narrow a topic right down real quick though, but get into different stuff like that, man.

SPEAKER_00

Find someone with some good that's my advice, to find someone with some good storytelling. Like good people that that tells good stories or that has good stories, be you know, just just definitely probably motivational or something like that.

SPEAKER_04

There you go, there you go. Something being overcome, like overcome some challenges, but maybe like real life stuff though, you know what I mean? Yep. I have like looked into stuff like like books like help you with like like for instance like finances or stuff like that. Stuff like that. I'll probably maybe that's what it is. Books that books that probably like you know what I mean, like little strategies or books that improve or little tricks and hacks and stuff like that. Maybe something like that. Maybe something like that I'll look into.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, finance books definitely always catch capture me. I'm looking at uh especially like millionaires, uh how they think how they think just always about it. Yeah, it's like man, damn, these dudes really they really build different, they think different. Like teaching me. Try to get into some of them books, man. Yeah, think outside of it. Yeah, for sure, man. Yeah, what about you, dudes?

SPEAKER_02

Uh my support system. Okay, speak on it. Yeah, man, I know we kind of hit on that last episode, but I don't know, just having having people could sometimes, you know, help you through some things. Yeah. Not saying that it was, you know, I was on a rough patch or nothing like that, but definitely just knowing and understanding and realizing, you know, who you got. Uh definitely was a little a little boost of serotonin. Yeah, yeah. That was smooth. I I I could I could say that's probably that. I don't really do too much overall. Um I've been house busy this past week too. So but you know how that get. Uh um. But then even if I'm hitting on the same thing as May with the books and stuff, I ain't really got no interest in reading. But if I were, like the finance stuff, uh goal setting, yeah, uh, people who know are successful in the areas of life that you want to be successful in. Uh just reading about that, um, like with goals, especially in like how to set goals, how to achieve those goals, uh, I could definitely do that. Um if we talking that side of books. But then on the other side, same thing, like audiobooks. I'm hearing, I'm I'm embarrassing.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, the only thing about it, I would think is like I'm I'm listening to Siri all day. I don't think I can do that. I don't think I can do that. Nah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Nah, but then with that, also like if I were to do a book, I like I like adventurous type of things. Okay. Um anything being out, adventuring, such like that.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. I could say, I could say um there was this one book I read in high school. I remember it vividly. Yeah. I didn't even finish the book. I just read like the first few chapters, and I remember every part of it from like my junior year in high school. Oh, for real? It's crazy, but I don't really read books that often. I'd I'd rather uh watch something.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, me too, man. I'd rather I'd rather turn something on, man. It just I don't know, it just grabs my attention more. Man, you gotta have a lot of patience to sit and like I don't know. I I can we can do it. You know what I mean?

SPEAKER_00

But it's just but uh also it's like it's it's it's different now because back then we didn't have the technology, so that's the reason why I'm so I like reading.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, if we didn't if we didn't have technology, that's that's how you would probably gain all your knowledge, yeah. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Y'all growing up in the later stages, like where technology started blooming, like man, y'all got better ways to get to y'all information, especially like we always talk about it. What we call it, Corey, YouTube University. Yeah, I'm a YouTube. Well, I'm a graduate, and I still attend. Yeah, now chat chat GPT.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, but I can tell you all these kids you AI now. AI like crazy.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, AI kind of scary nowadays, man. But yeah, it's why you say scary, you could just do anything. Like, I remember back then, like before it got you know advanced as it was, like it was still it was still a big factor in my definitely going through high school and school and all that type of stuff. We had like photo math and stuff like that. Like, you know, I'm horrible at like calculus, you know, stuff like that. So you talk about algebra, you know what I mean? So we go through I'm taking a picture of my stuff, you feel me?

SPEAKER_02

Taking a picture of the equation to give me the I had Socratic in in college.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, yeah, yep, socratic, yeah, it's another version of a picture or something like that.

SPEAKER_02

It'll bring it'll pop up uh hello links, quizlets, all that other stuff, find a right way.

SPEAKER_04

So without that, you know what I mean? Without that, we would have to go to the actual book. Yeah, so it's it yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Even learning how the actual book was terrible for me. Even though I didn't go to college like yeah, but I mean, shoot, bath was just not my subject for sure.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, me neither. Me neither, man.

SPEAKER_00

Unless we count money, that's it. That's that's all I know. One, two, threes, and A V C is I'm straight. For real, we learned all that unnecessary stuff for what? Yeah, right, man.

SPEAKER_04

I was like, man, I ain't gonna be like all that unnecessary stuff for that.

SPEAKER_00

I'm not gonna use this in my life later on, man. It's like true. But yeah. Alright, man. Yeah, we got another question. What's the next question, man?

SPEAKER_04

What's a habit that changed your routine for the better? Is that basically saying like you got a bad habit? Like what bad habit or what's a bad habit?

SPEAKER_02

Nah, just uh like no, what's what's a good habit? A good habit. Okay, okay. A good habit. Okay. I'll say though, with me personally, I mean I it's sometimes I'm on and off. I I get consistent with it, but sometimes I start slacking on it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

But when I wake up, not jumping right on my phone. Um because you know, like sometimes you can just get locked in on your phone instantly. So when I wake up, like I look at it sometimes, like just to check if I got any notifications over the night, but most times like wake up and then I'm moving, and at least for you know, hour or two, something like that, then I might you know get on it. Um that's that's one, and then another one. I got into a habit of you know, thanking God every time I wake up, like, thank you for waking me up, you know, all that kind of good stuff. Uh I think it's just it's some sort of small things that carry weight and then be with that to you know eventually get you to an even bigger and better habit. Not gonna say better, but even bigger. Like something small like that can then, you know, maybe cause something, or strike something that gets you closer to where you want to get you. Like you're closer with God or something. So just the small stuff. Uh nothing super super major though.

SPEAKER_04

I would definitely agree on what you just said, Corey. Definitely. Like I gotta I don't do good at it, but I got a habit of as soon as I get up, look at my phone. But yeah, maybe looking at notifications to see if anybody called me through the night, or you know, I mean I missed something through the night, but you know what I mean? Getting up and scrolling like that ain't really a good thing. So uh I'm gonna try to work on that. But I'll say, yeah, I uh I try to talk to God before I go to sleep, basically just saying thank you. You know what I mean? I had a good day, you know what I mean? I'm alive, my people's alive, healthy. Yeah, some simple words like that. Uh let me try to get my other one, man. I say trying to get some sleep, man. Going to sleep early, going to sleep early, man. I've been trying to go to sleep early, man. That's what I've been trying to do. And I've been getting up early. Yep. I've been on a whole new schedule. I ain't no morning person. I ain't gonna lie. I I usually never even even in school, even in school. Even when I was in school, I didn't even get up. Man, like when I was in high school, when I can basically, you know, I'm you know, mature enough to get up by myself, old enough to get up by myself, stuff like that, go to school, you know, catch the bus, or either drive to school. Yeah, I was never on time. I ain't gonna lie. I was never on time.

SPEAKER_00

How many times you missed the bus?

SPEAKER_04

Man, back then when I missed the bus, like it was it was a little scary. You gotta go back home. Back to my mom's house from the bus stop, go in the house. At the time, my mom worked at third shift, so she just not coming home from work, you know what I mean? So she already might be in the bed, or she just getting in the bed, you know what I mean? So if I miss the bus and she gotta get back up and take me to school, oh yeah, I'm getting cussed out, or I'm getting, yeah, I'm getting cussed off for sure.

SPEAKER_00

You did what? Yeah, yeah. Well, you ain't going to school. Oh, you're making me going to school. She's making me go to school though.

SPEAKER_04

No, she's gonna this is what she's either gonna do. This is what she's gonna do. She's gonna either feel good and she's gonna all right. I'll take you in a minute. Oh, wait a minute, I'll take you. Or she's gonna, you better walk your butt to school.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, yeah. You better walk the.

SPEAKER_00

I was just gonna say that because our parents growing up, and you y'all, like I said, y'all the back end of what our era is. Like, we still was going to school. We got it. Someone knows staying home like snakes, kids now. They just uh you just stay home. My son was getting, yeah, he was too tired. Nah, get your butt up, you just want to be able to get it. It wasn't no too tired. Yeah, yeah. That's it. Yep, you had to be really sick. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Snicker, sick, or you got snow there or something.

SPEAKER_00

Facts, eh? Yeah, my used to be uh for sure with sleep. Uh I've been getting a lot of good sleep lately, which is good. Uh because I go in updates. Y'all always talk about me. I was so sleep deprived for a minute. Yeah, I remember. Yeah, that's how I beat man. When you got a lot on your mind and you're trying to, yeah, man. I was I just fall asleep. I still sometimes do it, but that's because either I stayed up later than what I normally have as I got a routine now, now being a morning person. I I always grew up being a morning person just because of school. So uh, but yeah, it's starting to get more sleep. Uh finally. Finally. Finally. Finally.

SPEAKER_04

I feel like y'all can sleep throughout the night.

SPEAKER_02

I sleep throughout the night great. I do.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_04

Like you don't wake up throughout in the middle of the night or anything like that.

SPEAKER_00

If I do, sleeping one time. Yeah, one time, yeah. Yeah, I I I'm sleeping good, like for real, for real.

SPEAKER_04

I ain't gonna lie, I've been getting much sleep too. Now that I've been on first shift, because usually I've been on seconds all the time. Seconds all the time, and I will stay up. Yep. Like I would get out late, obviously. Yep, and then I would stay up, you know, two or three in the morning. You know, get up whenever I get up, and then yeah, yeah, but first shift, you get in the routine of going to sleep more earlier. Yep, you up throughout the day, you're moving around, you're doing stuff. Then when you do go to sleep, you can sleep. Yeah, that's why it's way better.

SPEAKER_00

That's what that's why I'm getting more sleep because I'm on first shift or whatever. So yeah, but uh that and stop complaining. I'm gonna go back to I used to complain. I mean, I I realized this week how much I used to complain about a lot, man. I was like, Talk about it. Man, I complain about the little stuff, man. Every little thing that just should be the simplest thing not going my way. I'm like, man, I can't find my keys. Oh man, I'm always pushing like you were complaining to somebody else or you or you just talking to yourself. Complain to me, man. So putting so putting more stress on yourself. Yeah, absolutely.

SPEAKER_02

See, see if you say if you was doing it to other people, I I'd be telling you about this. Oh, yeah, fact, fact. Me personally, I'm always I'm always telling people to stop complaining.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, just stop.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, like if they're doing it out loud, I'm like, stop. Like you're not helping anything. Exactly. It's like you talking about it is not doing anything to help you. Yeah, like just accept it, move on, do something to make it better. Just stop complaining.

SPEAKER_00

Man, and I'm that's crazy. At my big age, 41, I'm learning that. But I was like, dang, that's been my problem for a long time, man. It's like, man, so kind of like I was like, dang, I was complaining about, I always complain about the little stuff, like stuff that just don't matter.

SPEAKER_04

Like, put in a way of not complaining, to get away from that, to resolve, to resolve from not doing that.

SPEAKER_00

Hey, but so when just anything, like when in life, like whatever, you can't control everything. It's the things outside of your control. Yeah, it's just like man, hey, yo, this person was late. All right, it's out of my control, man. They all they was late because of this, you know, or it's something, it's just things that you just literally just can't control. Like, man, like, hey, don't complain about it. Just hey, make it happen. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, like man, like, shoot. Like when you said you was going to third ships, like, man, I could be like, dang, man, don't man don't know. We just made this, man, nah, man. Hey, things is not a bad, but it but you didn't choose that. Yeah, you didn't, you man, it's like man, so we we're gonna figure it out. Stuff happens like that, though.

SPEAKER_04

Stuff happens like that to just yeah, yeah, just put that stress on you, but yeah, you're definitely not supposed to try to complain about stuff you can't control because it's not your fault, it's not your fault. You you can't control it, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_00

But and I was bad.

SPEAKER_04

You do add to stress uh a stressor, but it's just you gotta work around it, man.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and I realized how bad I was at it. So that's one thing, like it said this week. I was just like, man, I'm not gonna complain about nothing for sure. So yeah. Alright. What's the next question we got? Oh, this is a good one. This is a good one. What's something that people complicate? Complicate that's actually simple in life.

SPEAKER_04

Something that people overcomplicate.

SPEAKER_00

Overcomplicate, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

That's simple. It's just everybody. Something that everybody deals with.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we it's so many things. I'll go first. I say my main thing, my main question was uh faith. I think sometimes we overcomplicate faith. Like, man, just how we believe and what we believe in. I think man, I think just uh and the reason why I say that is because what one person what you believe in for yourself, that that's really that's all that matters for you. Like man, you shouldn't worry about what other people I mean you shouldn't worry about what other people believe in. If they believe in the same as you, you shouldn't be uh and I think like sometimes religious had it did it, not all religion, not all churches, not all pastors, or not all people have done that, but I think the people that do, I mean, you get a lot of people like, oh that's a that's the biggest complaint for people in the world nowadays, you know what I'm saying? Like people are complaining because it's something that they believe in, but they feel like oh so-and-so ain't doing this. So they they I don't know how am I trying to say it's like they just saying like it's like they're just kind of like I said, just man, just making a big deal out of something that they not in in the first one, like I said, again, not in control of, or it's not none of your business. It's not even it's whatever you what you control is for you. You know what I'm saying? What you believe is what you believe. You know what I'm saying? So and if you believe what's for you, let that be for you. Don't try to project your uh faith and your beliefs on other people that don't believe for themselves. So I think we overcomplicate that and I don't know, cast judgment a lot. You know what I'm saying? We uh yeah, I just think faith, yeah. Faith is my answer. And we make it harder than what it is. Like, man, if you believe something, you know what I'm saying, believe like believe I'ma just I'ma just get real with it. Like, if I believe God can do all things, it's like I shouldn't sit up here and just like, oh alright, I'm sitting up here, worry about this and that, Bill, worry about this and that. If I believe God can make a way, see my heart, see my intention, see my sacrifices, or even me trying to be obedient towards him and his word, or the instructions that he give to me. It's like, man, sometimes we can overcomplicate that by our thoughts, our our uh discouragement and then our unbelief. So sometimes I, you know, I just feel like that's one thing. I mean, so yeah, I say faith. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Skip to you, Corey. What you got?

SPEAKER_02

Nah, uh, I mean, uh, there's a few things, honestly. Like I say all the time, people overcomplicate like sports. Like just the simplicity of going out and playing a sport. Like, people overthink it. Like, I just being a coach thinking like this. Like the simple things is like it's literally as easy as just backpedaling one foot after the other, and you over here overthinking it, thinking it's you know, solving a Rubik's cube. Like, no, bro, like just do it. You feel me? Like you're thinking too much, just do it. Like small stuff like that. Um other other things is just like I I don't even know how to put this really. Like sometimes like interactions amongst each other. So it's like um let's let's put it like this. Uh let's I'm gonna just have an example. I just it's really just communicating with people, uh, because some people think like communication is just like the hardest thing in the world.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um, like I get sometimes like, you know, depending on the situation, you might get a little anxiety or something like that. But like uh let's say, for example, you know, boy, like a girl, really want to get her attention, something like that. Yeah. And she might like him too, but he passed up a chance to say something to her because he was too scared to talk about it. I really it's just as simple as just going up and starting a conversation. Yeah. So you feel me? All you have to do is just try it, and you never know what might happen. But some people are too scared to try because they're they think of the result that might come from it.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, you feel me?

SPEAKER_02

It's like either it is or it isn't. Like, you know, you got a 50% chance. Like, I like my eyes, like my dad was saying earlier. Like, because I like I like the eyes, yeah. Uh 50-50, but then you know, people will not even take a shot, and then now you 0% because you didn't even take that shot in the first place.

SPEAKER_00

What if it's because they pass a past experience? It's been shut down. It happens. You're right. That's what I'm saying. See, that's part of me.

SPEAKER_02

Hey, what's thinking saying no? I mean, uh she started going in on you. I'm like, man, that's why your feet little, your shoes ain't even tall. You feel me? Your lips just chap, your head is uh greasy, like you feel me? That's a different type of rejection. That's different, but it's as you know how it's that's not very likely that you're gonna, you know, get that. You're gonna get that, yeah. Right. But I just uh for sure, like sports for sure, and another thing is just communicating with each other. Like I know like we got so used to talking like behind screens, you know, texting, social media, doing all that other stuff, but just having face-to-face conversations. And one thing I'm not gonna lie, I know I do it because like I struggle with it. Like I'm still gonna talk to you, but one thing I struggle with sometimes is eye contact. Me too. I'm looking in your eyes and then I'm gonna look away, and I'm gonna go back and look away. You ain't talking about that.

SPEAKER_00

But like, because I'm like, man, I want them to take your head up and I'm standing in there.

SPEAKER_02

Nah, for sure. Like some people just stare at your eyes and like like I'm I'm the type of person, like, I'm since I'm so observant, like sometimes, sometimes eye contact makes me a little uncomfortable. I'm not gonna lie. But like I'm observant to where like I'm gonna look at you, but then if it's something else going on, I'm going to find my eyes are going to find that. Yes, yes. Like I just pick up another. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, but but even then, even without the eye contact part, you're still communicating, you're talking in person, getting those social skills that a lot of people aren't getting nowadays.

SPEAKER_05

So I think it's good.

SPEAKER_02

You feel me? Yeah, I think that's just that's one thing, just communicating with each other. Okay, man.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I agree with that one. That was kind of what I was gonna say, man. But yeah, how the world is now, like everybody on the phone. So I would definitely say communication skills for sure. Like, but I got a problem with communication skills, like with texting. Yeah, uh it's hard, it's hard to keep a conversation with me texting, but if I'm in person or something like that, I can definitely, you know, keep the conversation, stay engaged and all that type of stuff.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, I would definitely say, and one thing about texting is texting is so calculated because you can actually think about what you want to say before you send it. Yeah, it is true, though.

SPEAKER_04

It makes you think like, oh, maybe I shouldn't say that, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_00

And then and you be in the middle of texting, like, nah, I ain't gonna say that.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, then you can unsend the message, nah. So it's like you could send it and be like, nah. You know what I mean? So I would definitely say communication for sure.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, man, for sure. For sure, for sure. For sure, man. Yeah, man. All right, y'all picking discipline or motivation? Which one you do?

SPEAKER_04

You'd rather be more disciplined or I'd be rather I'd rather be more disciplined.

SPEAKER_00

Why not?

SPEAKER_04

I feel like, because if you're more disciplined, you're gonna have your specific goals that you're trying to follow, and you're gonna stay disciplined to follow them goals. And you know, like for instance, if I'm trying to bulk up or you know what I mean I'm trying to gain a whole bunch of weight or something, I'm gonna make sure I'm in the gym five days a week, you know what I mean? Or if I'm trying to save money, I'm gonna make sure that I don't go outside and go to the bar and spend a hundred dollars at the bar. You know what I mean? That's basically staying disciplined knowing what you gotta do and staying to it, staying dedicated to it. I would say discipline. Because discipline I feel like is a it's a harder thing to do.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

That's that's tough. Um, I'd say with that, I mean, like, out of dang. Obviously, like you want to have self-discipline among amongst yourself, being able to be disciplined where it's not taking you away from the I don't even know how to put this. So, like, alright, put it like, because they they kind of they tie into each other. So it's like you have the discipline, right? To know like I gotta do this, like this is what I gotta do, like, regardless, like even if you want to do it or you don't want to do it, like working out, for example, like it's like I don't feel like working out today, but you know, I gotta do it because it's my lifestyle, right? So technically, because that's your lifestyle that you're going for, you know, most times people are motivated to get those results, so they become disciplined in that area because of the things that they're motivated by. So they're kind of coincide with each other. Um, it's like the something can motivate you to where you want to become disciplined in that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um I find myself getting more motivated from things though. I can I can say I find myself getting more motivated, um depending on what it is, to want to go do something, at least try it. Yeah. Uh, but then like obviously if I like it, um then I'll you know, beyond myself to be better and actually discipline in that area so I can continue to do that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah, I I was gonna say motivation too. Uh being more more motivational because kind of similar to what you just said, Corey, is like when you become more motivational, you are uh you already kind of achieved some type of discipline to you know become that because you now now you kinda like inspiring somebody else to do they do what they able to do. So I I mean, even though, you know, like you said, discipline is is a big part, it's a big part of being that, you know, every and everybody have to achieve some type of discipline to you know become that role model or something like that. So for sure, it's obviously motivational.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I would definitely agree with y'all on that. You definitely wanna, you know, others can motivate you into doing something better that you might not have had, you know what I mean? A part of your goal, or you know what I mean? You might look at that like, oh man, that might be good for me too. I want I'm gonna go do that. That might motivate you and discipline, follow up with that. You be disciplined with that, you can yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, man. Definitely agree with that one for sure. That can go a long way. That can correlate into a lot of different things too.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that motivation. Yeah, for sure.

SPEAKER_04

For sure.

SPEAKER_00

For sure, man.

SPEAKER_04

Get motivated by somebody, you can motivate somebody else.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, man. And y'all can yeah, yeah, man. Cause I I mean I'm gonna say say this real quick before we get out of here. It's like, man, it's like I never been so proud to be myself uh at my uh like at my job this week. Like this one guy, he just came to, you know, he just came to me. Like some something some just a lot of people just come out and be more, you know, they come out and be they confide to me or whatever. They said just come telling me all types of stuff. Like, I'm like, I ain't asked about this. I'll just say, man, how you doing? You know, just agree that you they said, man, I like your attitude, I like your attitude, I like your attitude, I like your attitude. I've been here a lot at work, whatever. But you got good attitude. So this one dude, this older guy, older white guy, uh, he was just came to me and he just like man, you know. He's like, Man, I I lost my wife five years ago. He said, Man, still hits me to this day, man. He's like, man. He's like, he seemed like a good guy. He's like, he's like, I don't tell nobody about what I'm going through. He's like, but I just wanted to like man, he's like, you seem like you're you're a guy that just man, you you're a stand-up guy. He's like, I see how you approach everybody else. He obviously he was watching me or whatever. And he's like, man, he's like, hey, he's like, I may be wrong. He's like, no, hope wrong, not wrong. He's like, but if you can, can you pray for me? I was like, dang, I was like, dude. I was like, man, I was like, I was like, man, how you gonna go to church? How you know uh how you doing? I'm a man of faith. He's like, he's like man, he's like, you just got it all over you. He's like, so it's just like he's like, I can see it. I was like, dang. I was like, you know, I was like, I'm just being me, I'm just being twine. Yeah, yeah. I was like, so man, so that's something my mom used to always tell me. She's like, just be yourself all the time. She's like, just never lose character, never, never, uh, never break character, she told me. She's like, always be yourself, always that's dope. Yeah, I know that felt good. Yeah, man, I did, though. That that's I was about ready to cry. I was like, man, shoot, mothers they just passed too. I was like, come on, man. I was like, all I can think about is my mom.

SPEAKER_04

Somebody see you being yourself, authentic, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

That kind of motivated you to do better and you know, keep doing what you're doing.

SPEAKER_00

And then in that moment, too, I was like, man, shoot. Even like we had work, it's like, man, I was like, dude, I was like, I don't know, we might get in trouble for this. I'm gonna pray for you right now. I was like, man, I ain't gonna, I was like, man, I'm just standing right here, it just look like we're talking to each other, but I'm gonna pray for you. And I sat there the first time ever, like just pray for somebody on the spot like that. So I was like, I ain't say nothing. I ain't say nothing. I was just praying for him, just man, give him strength, you know what I'm saying? Just no, and like he had he was he was still he still hurt from his you know wife passing for five years. You know, he's like they spent 34 years together. It's like so I was like, man, hey man. He's like, yeah. So just yeah, that felt good. Kind of felt a little good, man. No, that wasn't dope. And it's like, man, out of all people he seen that on me, just say that at that moment. And then just uh, you know, yeah, share that moment, or you know, yeah. So that for sure, yeah, man. So man, y'all out there, man, just continue to be yourself no matter what people say, man, no matter what people gonna do, stay consistent to you, and just be be you, be loyal, be like like my mom said, never break character for sure. So yeah, with that mo with that, man. Hey man, let's do what we doing at will this week, man. What we doing at will, man?

SPEAKER_04

Uh same thing, man. Try to be positive, man. Try to be positive. When all the negative stuff's still going on around, man. Try to be positive as much as possible. Still money management, you know. Okay. Paying off debt.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. How's that looking for you?

SPEAKER_04

It's looking good. That's right. We see it. We see it. It's definitely looking good, man. Yeah. You can see myself down the road being in a you know a real good spot, man. If I stick to the goal, stick to the plan. Been like doing a lot of chat GBT, planning stuff out weeks, and you know what I mean, where I'll be at next weekend. You know what I mean? So yeah, just sticking to the plan, man. Trying to be disciplined.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Uh, yeah, that's pretty much it, man. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

What you do? Uh staying motivated. You feel me? Being disciplined to do what I need to do. Yeah. Um I really don't got too much going on. I'm trying to, you know, get my stack my bread. I ain't even gonna hold you, I'm tired. I'm tired of being broke. So nah. Uh nah, but for real, uh, I'm just I don't know. I'm working hard, trying to trying to, you know, get everything together so I can be in a a decent spot. You know, I got this trip and whatever coming up, so uh, but Costa Rica. This man. Nah, but uh just you know, being in a side where I'm comfortable, you know, pay off a little stuff, but nothing too crazy.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Yeah, man. Uh same with me, man. Just uh weight, health, man. Just trying to get healthier, man. Just it. You know, I just don't want to I ain't ready to leave Earth. You know what I'm saying? If I can control it, I ain't ready to leave Earth right now. So uh just wanna get somewhat back to the healthy status twine that I was before, you know. So that's my main thing. Stay healthy and stay consistent, stay, you know. Yeah, that's it. Get back healthy. You got it, bro. Yeah, yeah, I got it. I got it. I got it for sure. I got it for sure, man. But yeah, man. That's another episode, man. Hey, man, you know, I gotta promote I gotta start promoting us, man. Hey, man, go like and share, comment. Uh hey, I gotta get used to that. Hey man, go to all our platforms, you know what I'm saying? We all we all over, man. Instagram, Facebook, uh YouTube, uh, where we at Spotify. Yeah, so go like and share, comment, subscribe, do all that. Uh got my man Deucer, producer, uh, Deuce Media. Go like and share. You on all platforms too, right?

SPEAKER_02

Um, majority. Well, I ain't gonna say that. I ain't got no Twitter. I ain't make a Twitter. Oh uh, I got Instagram, Facebook. I'm on threads. I will say I'm on threads.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, okay.

SPEAKER_02

Uh TikTok, YouTube. For me.

SPEAKER_00

So, man, with that being said, yo, uh continue to do your purpose. Do your purpose at will. We create, we speak, we live at will. All right, we out of here, y'all.
