After waking in the twisted parallel reality known as Light of Doruusk, the party quickly discovers that something is terribly wrong.

People are collapsing without wounds.

Entire districts are falling sick overnight.

And worst of all, ghostlike serpent entities—half spirit, half nightmare—have begun tearing something far more important than flesh from their victims.

Their souls.

As panic spreads, the party races to uncover the source of the growing catastrophe before the damage becomes irreversible. But the deeper they investigate, the more the truth begins pointing toward a place they prayed they would never revisit.

The old site.

The Gulthias tree.

The memory of Virelia.

And whatever still waits beneath its roots.

With time running out and the soul-sickness spreading faster by the hour, the party must descend back into a place tied to some of their darkest memories and uncover what has changed in this broken reflection of reality.

But some mysteries do not ask for understanding.

They ask for sacrifice.

And before the night is over, one member of the party may be forced to give up everything for the chance to stop what is coming.
