Welcome to Much More: Adventures — a magical world where even the smallest moments hold the biggest lessons.

Today, we begin a brand-new story. It’s about a girl named Jennie, who wasn’t quite tall enough for one world and a little too tall for another… but found herself right where she needed to be.

Once upon a time, in a town where Giants and Humans lived side by side, there was a girl named Jennie Thimble.

Jennie had a little problem — at the Giants’ school, she was way too short. (Like, she barely came up to anyone’s knees.)

And at the Humans’ school… well, she was gigantic. (She had to duck to fit through the doorways!)

Her parents thought,

“Wouldn’t it be better if Jennie was the tallest in her class, instead of the tiniest?”

So off she went to Human School, proud of her height at last!

And that’s where her dream began:

Basketball tryouts.

Tall people are supposed to be good at basketball, right? Well… that’s what Jennie thought too!

Jennie practiced day and night. She imagined the crowd roaring! She imagined trophies taller than she was!

But when the day of tryouts came…

Coach Pebbles said:

“Jennie, you’re too tall for our league!”

The human kids were all about four or five feet tall.

Jennie, at nearly 10 feet, was like a giraffe in a field of puppies.

Disappointed but determined, Jennie marched over to the Giants’ school tryouts.

If she was too tall for humans, surely she was perfect for giants!

But the Giants’ Coach Grumball just shook his head:

“Sorry, Jennie. You’re way too short. Giants need to dunk without jumping.”

Jennie could barely touch the bottom of the net.

Jennie went to bed that night with a heavy heart.

Maybe she didn’t belong anywhere. Maybe she was just… stuck in between.

But the very next morning — ring-ring!

The Human School called.

It was Coach Pebbles!

“Hey Jennie,” he said, “Would you still come to practices? We need your energy!”

Jennie’s eyes widened.

And if that wasn’t enough, that afternoon — ding-dong!

Coach Grumball from the Giants’ school showed up at her door.

“Would you come to our practices too? We could use your speed and heart!”

Jennie couldn’t believe it.

Two teams. Two chances. Two worlds that wanted her!

And so — she said yes.

Every morning before school, Jennie practiced with the humans.

She learned how to weave, dodge, and dash between players who were quicker and lower to the ground.

Every afternoon after school, she trained with the giants.

She learned the slow, powerful moves — the thundering slam dunks and wide-arm blocks.

Jennie was always in the middle

Not the tallest, not the shortest, not the fastest, not the strongest —

But something better:

She was learning both sides.

She taught the smallest humans how to use giant tricks — like blocking shots with confidence!

She showed the biggest giants how to stay quick and nimble, just like the humans!

And little by little…

both teams started getting better.

Way better.

At first, Jennie thought she needed to fit in somewhere.

She thought she had to be tall enough or short enough.

But by sharing what she knew from both worlds, she became the team’s secret ingredient.

Jennie wasn’t just a good player

She was a bridge.

A bridge between worlds.

And bridges don’t pick a side.

They hold everyone up.

Because sometimes the very thing that makes you feel “in between”…

is the thing that makes you powerful.

When you learn from every experience — and share what you know —

You make yourself, and everyone around you, even stronger.

And Jennie?

Well, she didn’t just join a team.

She made two teams into champions.

And that was just the beginning of Jennie’s adventures.

Stay tuned for next time, when a surprise tournament — and a mysterious missing sneaker — take Jennie on a whole new journey!

Until then, remember:

You are already exactly the right size to make a difference.

You just have to play your way.

And don’t forget, adventure awaits, every night before bedtime at Much More Adventures.
