place,"},{"startTime":244.077,"endTime":246.913,"body":"what is this Passover meal?"},{"startTime":246.913,"endTime":250.483,"body":"This Passover meal has been celebrated"},{"startTime":246.913,"endTime":250.483,"body":"for over a thousand years at this point,"},{"startTime":250.617,"endTime":253.853,"body":"and it goes back to the Exodus"},{"startTime":254.854,"endTime":259.125,"body":"and this Passover,"},{"startTime":254.854,"endTime":259.125,"body":"all the Israelites enslaved in Egypt."},{"startTime":259.592,"endTime":264.697,"body":"God raises up Moses and calls him"},{"startTime":259.592,"endTime":264.697,"body":"to go to Egypt to set the people free."},{"startTime":265.131,"endTime":267.9,"body":"And it's commanded"},{"startTime":265.131,"endTime":267.9,"body":"that this Passover takes place"},{"startTime":267.9,"endTime":271.037,"body":"because God was going"},{"startTime":267.9,"endTime":271.037,"body":"to deliver his people out of slavery."},{"startTime":271.604,"endTime":275.875,"body":"This was the night of the 10th plague"},{"startTime":271.604,"endTime":275.875,"body":"that was going to fall upon Egypt."},{"startTime":276.042,"endTime":278.544,"body":"That led to the death of firstborn sons,"},{"startTime":279.712,"endTime":279.946,"body":"and the"},{"startTime":279.946,"endTime":283.283,"body":"sacrifice that had to be"},{"startTime":279.946,"endTime":283.283,"body":"made was a lamb without blemish."},{"startTime":283.283,"endTime":287.12,"body":"A spotless lamb had to be sacrificed"},{"startTime":283.283,"endTime":287.12,"body":"for any household"},{"startTime":287.186,"endTime":290.189,"body":"that wanted to keep their firstborn son."},{"startTime":290.456,"endTime":293.126,"body":"They had to sacrifice the spotless lamb."},{"startTime":293.126,"endTime":295.495,"body":"They had to consume all of the lamb."},{"startTime":295.495,"endTime":299.132,"body":"They had to then spread"},{"startTime":295.495,"endTime":299.132,"body":"the blood of the lamb on their doorposts,"},{"startTime":299.132,"endTime":302.869,"body":"so that when the angel of death continually"},{"startTime":304.237,"endTime":308.174,"body":"celebrated year after year after year,"},{"startTime":308.308,"endTime":311.944,"body":"as God's people would look back"},{"startTime":308.308,"endTime":311.944,"body":"and remember God's faithfulness,"},{"startTime":311.944,"endTime":317.216,"body":"his provision, and his mercy towards them"},{"startTime":311.944,"endTime":317.216,"body":"as he delivered Israel in those moments."},{"startTime":317.817,"endTime":320.219,"body":"And so this is the stage that's been set."},{"startTime":320.219,"endTime":323.122,"body":"Jesus, at this point,"},{"startTime":320.219,"endTime":323.122,"body":"he had three years of ministry."},{"startTime":323.122,"endTime":326.159,"body":"Now this is the third time,"},{"startTime":323.122,"endTime":326.159,"body":"but the only recorded time that we see"},{"startTime":326.159,"endTime":329.395,"body":"he's having a Passover meal"},{"startTime":326.159,"endTime":329.395,"body":"with his disciples."},{"startTime":330.263,"endTime":332.065,"body":"And so this is what's on their minds."},{"startTime":332.065,"endTime":336.002,"body":"And there would have been"},{"startTime":332.065,"endTime":336.002,"body":"a very elaborate meal with deep meaning"},{"startTime":336.002,"endTime":339.005,"body":"connecting all the way back"},{"startTime":336.002,"endTime":339.005,"body":"to this Exodus story."},{"startTime":339.706,"endTime":342.909,"body":"But what we're going to see"},{"startTime":339.706,"endTime":342.909,"body":"in a few moments is that this Exodus story"},{"startTime":343.543,"endTime":345.445,"body":"was really pointing"},{"startTime":343.543,"endTime":345.445,"body":"forward to this moment."},{"startTime":346.646,"endTime":349.015,"body":"And going back, Jesus gives his disciples"},{"startTime":346.646,"endTime":349.015,"body":"instruction."},{"startTime":349.015,"endTime":351.517,"body":"He tells them, behold,"},{"startTime":351.517,"endTime":354.787,"body":"when you have entered the city, a man"},{"startTime":351.517,"endTime":354.787,"body":"carrying a jar of water will meet you."},{"startTime":355.254,"endTime":359.125,"body":"Follow him into the house that he enters"},{"startTime":355.254,"endTime":359.125,"body":"and tell the master of the house,"},{"startTime":359.692,"endTime":362.228,"body":"the teacher says to you,"},{"startTime":362.228,"endTime":363.296,"body":"where is the guest room?"},{"startTime":363.296,"endTime":366.299,"body":"Where I may eat the Passover"},{"startTime":363.296,"endTime":366.299,"body":"with my disciples,"},{"startTime":366.466,"endTime":368.768,"body":"and he will show you a large upper room"},{"startTime":366.466,"endTime":368.768,"body":"furnished."},{"startTime":368.768,"endTime":370.236,"body":"Prepare it there."},{"startTime":370.236,"endTime":373.239,"body":"And they went, and they found it"},{"startTime":370.236,"endTime":373.239,"body":"just as Jesus told them."},{"startTime":373.306,"endTime":376.309,"body":"And they prepared the up to this point of all that"},{"startTime":394.627,"endTime":398.464,"body":"he was going to endure and suffer."},{"startTime":399.232,"endTime":402.235,"body":"But I want us to notice here for a moment"},{"startTime":399.232,"endTime":402.235,"body":"those words"},{"startTime":402.802,"endTime":405.338,"body":"I have earnestly desired,"},{"startTime":405.338,"endTime":408.841,"body":"I have night,"},{"startTime":432.865,"endTime":436.135,"body":"that he wanted them to know"},{"startTime":436.369,"endTime":440.206,"body":"that there was great
