Angie Dixon is a  multi-passionate author, artist, summit host, and proudly a neuro-spicy human who spent way too many years trying to squeeze herself into the beige-human template. Spoiler alert: it did not take. Beige and her were never meant for each other.

Instead, Angie has spent the last two decades writing, creating, teaching, and loudly celebrating the gloriously chaotic brilliance she calls The Leonardo Trait — a term she coined almost twenty years ago to describe people who are wildly creative, endlessly curious, and constitutionally incapable of pretending to be one-thing-only. Think polymath energy, but with a little more glitter and a little less Renaissance plumbing.

Angie's work sits at the crossroads of creativity, neurodivergence, and what she likes to call “permission to exist loudly.” She talks about the real stuff we live with: autistic masking, late diagnosis identity earthquakes, creative burnout disguised as productivity, and the weird, nonlinear paths we take to get anything done. Angie has lived this journey from every angle — as an autistic, disabled, recovering workaholic who learned the hard way that masking is unsustainable, and that burnout doesn't respond well to color-coded planners or “just push through it.”

Unmasking wasn’t a hobby for her. It was survival.
Now it’s the foundation of her work.

Angie hosts the Unmasked Summit: A Summit for Neuro-divergent Creatives, an email-based event bringing together autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, otherwise-spicy creators and professionals who want to talk about the real cost of masking and the real path back to themselves. The summit grew out of a simple truth: neuro-divergent people thrive when they’re allowed to show up on their own terms. No cameras, no performative energy spikes, no pretending. Just real human beings connecting in the least overwhelming way possible — the inbox.

Alongside that, Angie is releasing the 4th edition of her beloved book The Leonardo Trait: Profound Creativity in a Chaotic World. It’s the book creatives have been quoting back to her for years — the one that helped so many people say, “Oh, I’m not scattered. I’m a Leonardo.” This new edition dives deeper into autism, unmasking, disability, and nonlinear creative life than she has ever before. It’s personal, punchy, poetic, a bit chaotic, and very honest — which is to say, extremely on-brand.
